The staff was so kind! We got there a little early. before the check in time but they got us a room ready. I would definitely stay here again! Very friendly and clean!

The refrigerator didnt work which was inconvenient

Staff was not knowledgeable of what amenities where in each room. How can a place call themselves a extended stay with kitchenette and only having 1 chair to sit in, especially when there is more than 1 person in the room. Groups of friends of the staff just hanging out in the office area. Fridge took 2 days to get cold enough to have barely cold water.

Someone vandalized a truck the last night I was there. I heard that they have had windows broken out vehicles in the past.

Clean room, friendly staff, quick check in. Shower pressure is amazing. Lots of shopping close by with lots of restaurants and food places.

Was charge $50 one day for pet fee dollar not $5 a day like it said on Expedia

Bad front service , no toiletries was denied the use of restroom close to the Lobby it was 10 pm they said ...overcharded for pet fee is not $5 A day , , the fee was $75 for 2 day n then got charged $50 for another day..thats not a damage fee just a deposit that never got refunded elevator was stinky n dirty sorry but im ...never staying here again

Very clean room, EXCELLENT STAFF from the front desk to the housekeeping staff everyone is VERY NICE and I would highly recommend this place for singles, couples or families! Pets are welcomed and it's a quiet property with very well lit areas that feel safe inside and out.

Our stay was GREAT! Its the 1st time in 2 years we've been back to the area and chose Woodspring Suites bc it's the most reasonable place to stay for the price and the amazing staff make it feel like a HOME away from Home. This last stay, at heck out time I was running late bc I'm disabled and have a bum leg with ulcers on it so I'm slower than I think I am and I didn't give myself enough time to check out before 11am. Well I took out my dog Jaxon, and my bags then came back inside to ask for my key to be remade bc I still had another pet in the room. Andrea was SUPERB at helping me and I was in and out in a flash! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this extended stay hotel.

Also, it would be very helpful to have a seating bench outside when waiting for transportation

Absolutely amazing to be affordable for an extended stay hotel. I do not know if this property is new or renovated but it’s looks fairly new. I thought it was going to be somewhat older or in a bad area. None of this applies. Love it

Great hotel but beware they claim they have a policy where if u book a room for more than 7 days when u check in u only pay for the first 7 days then after 7 days they charge u for the rest. They dont tell u this when checking in it doesnt show it on the receipt this info is not anywhere to be found on website or anywhere

Everything was excellent. Very clean ,safe and friendly staff. There was only one problem the room had an awful mildew and moldy smell.

They accommodated and switched to 1st room floor which was great. A bit into our stay, staff knocked at door asking if they could come in and scan a barcode (not sure what that was about). He came in to scan barcode on shelf while daughter was napping. It was just weird. In the morning, called the front to request 2 towels. Person said couldn’t come until 9 am. So went to the office and it was closed, window was shut. Room only came with 2 despite 4 people/2 beds. Overall was okay, but just seems that front desk has limited availability.

I enjoyed staying here, however when I was getting ready for check out (still getting dressed), one of the maids knocked on my door which scared me. She asked me if I was checking out and I told her I thought check out wasn’t until 11 (it was 10:20 or so at this point). I don’t like when people knock on my door unless it is an emergency, not just to see if I was checking out. I have never had this happened and it disturbed me greatly.

Staff was not friendly at all. Staff even lied about the size of bigger room. Unless the hotel lies about the layout of the rooms, I was in a smaller room and simply asked does the hotel have bigger rooms. The night staff looked me in my face and said the bigger room is the same size. When looking at the layout inside the room you can clearly see the rooms are bigger. The second night there was a roach in my room. The only bright spot was when I was packing up to leave, there was a house keeper on my floor who actually smiled and seemed happy to be at work.

This Hotel was very clean the reason for the 4 stars the shower was shooting water over the curtain rod near the door . Just a quick drop in because my connecting flight left 20 minutes early.

The shower head was shooting out water onto the floor, had to use the towels to soak up the excessive water. I got my socks and clothes unexpectedly wet. This is the only thing disappointed my stay..

I had high hopes for it but what really wrecked it was that we could hear the guests in the room above us. Loud noise, thumping, walking, slamming throughout the entire night. I had to call the front desk twice to handle it. It was very disappointing. We got ZERO sleep.

Why the customer service at the front is very horrible. I never had anybody at the desk. Couldn’t check in on time because again no one was at the front desk ever other than the people that worked there at the hotel was pretty fine

Staff was extremely pleasant, they went above an beyond to make sure my stay was lovely. I flew in to spend time with my daughter an this hotel was 15mins away from the spot. Stayed for a week and let’s just say it was worth every penny and i am already planning my trip back.

Our stay was just fine the room was clean and had plenty of room along with everything we needed. The lobby was small and there were very strong scents throughout the hotel.

I always stay here whenever I am in San Antonio. It is always clean, quiet, and very safe. Also the staff is very nice and professional. I definitely recommend staying here due to those reasons and that it is not expensive.

This property is so clean! The hallways smell good and staff is nice. I extended my stay while my house was being built. It doesn't have an oven but the stove tops are good for cooking. Tons of stores nearby and dining options. Most people are here for work so it's quiet. I also brought my dog and then have tons of doggy stations for poop bags and the grass is always cut low.

The hallways and room were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The down side was that housekeeping knocked on the door at 10am to clean the room. Thank goodness I had a towel on, since I had just got out of the shower. With the door closed, I told her check out was at 11, but she just repeated she was there to clean room. So I cracked the door open, still in my towel and said it again. She repeated she was there to clean the room. So I said 11 in Spanish and she understood. I have never had to do that before. It was very uncomfortable.

I always enjoy staying here and this time is no different. It is always super quiet at night and it feels very safe. I highly recommend staying here whenever one comes to San Antonio. You are not too far away from anything and it is a safe area.

For the price you are paying it is definitely worth it and more. Probably one of the cleaner hotels ive been in, usually at some hotels you might find some sort of stain or something dirty with the sheets or the room. This hotel had spotless sheets and an easy check in process as well!! Would definitely recommend!!

every week we stay there, today I made a reservation and checked in as usual at 9 am but the staff said there were no rooms available yet and asked me to come back at 12, and I came back at 12 but he said there were no rooms available yet, I had to wait 1 another hour, but someone came and checked in and he got a room, how could this happen? I am very unhappy with this, I think first come first get. Today I am very dissatisfied

Bed bugs got a bunch of bites all over me. Room was clean but apparently not the bed.

Truly a lone-star review for a lone-star state hotel-- no-frills, no amenities (literally NOTHING except toilet paper, water and sheets).

There are LITERALLY NO AMENITIES AT ALL-- not even a bar of soap!! There was no coffee maker, no cups, no soap, no shampoo, NADA!!! If you want a BARE bones hotel with a bed, bare floor, a toilet and sink, then stay here. No frills, nothing special, but it was decently clean. They offer a discount to their long term renters if you leave a good review.... so don't let the high review rating fool you :-)

The staff was friendly and super helpful! The property was clean and safe. The rooms weren’t my favorite. They aren’t as bright and inviting like they appear in the pictures. There was just an off putting smell to the rooms…probably because they allow pets, I guess. The air conditioning wasn’t the greatest. It worked, but took an entire night to fully cool down the small room. Not a stay that makes me want to return.
