The hotel was clean when we arrived. The in room phone didn’t work and the bathroom sink was draining very slowly. No exhaust fans in either bathroom so it smelled like mildew. The breakfast was made fresh every day, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Staff was very friendly easy check in and breakfast buffet was great for those like me who don't eat pork they also had a turkey option.

We had a good experience. The staff were very helpful with understanding the city.

Everything was clean but the shower curtain was too short for the shower and water got on the floor, front desk said they would change curtain but they was the day we were leaving. Really over priced for what it was worth, they charge 10 a day for parking it doesn’t say that on website, so I talked to the nice lady at front and she told me she would remove that charge, breakfast was great, pool was great, with there was jacuzzi!

Not enough linens or pillows in room. When we confronted the srbice desk, they told us wedidnt have anymore and they could give us blamkets for pillows.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the facility was very clean and welcoming. The mattress were old and very uncomfortable they had dips in them and it was difficult to get any sleep.

Very beautiful place and right by a delicious restaurant and a Walmart I didn’t like that our room lights didn’t work (honestly it was like 2 lamps) and the breakfast area could be a little bigger so we’re not in a big line and blocking people’s way to the elevator or to their rooms on the first floor

Stayed here for two night while in town for a dance competition. Had switch room at about 10pm because the ac was not working. Switched to new room and door handle from the bathroom broke off. Had another family bar to switch rooms twice cause of blood on the sheets and mushrooms growing out of the carpet. Staff was rude most of the time.

Upon return, the hair by the toilet was clear up, but some that was in the shower wasn't. Metals in the accessibility shower were rusted as well. Overall could be much better

The staff was lovely and hospitable. I had to leave every morning before breakfast at 6:30 but yogurt, juice and apples were available. Coffee was always available in the lobby. The hotel is old but functional. Great location close to the airport and Lackland airbase.

Our pull out couch mattress had the biggest stain, and our room smelled bad. Was not what we expected.

My room was ready before check in and check out was at 12. They have an indoor pool. Target and other shopping centers and restaurants were all near by. Laundry onsite now uses and app or accepts credit cards, so no need for quarters.

Nothing Staff was not helpful at all, the room was disgusting, and they were not prepared even though I booked the room a month in advance. Housekeeping was rude.

The staff was amazing! We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday here and she had a BLAST! They even welcomed her with a hand-written birthday card, and gave her a special cake. Truly so kind of them! The only thing, is that the bathtub was not clean. However, they offered to switch rooms immediately, or have staff come clean again.

But other than that everything was good .

The hotel location is great but the smell of the hotel and room are terrible, the front desk were rude not even give us a welcome phrase. I understand that they don’t change bed sheets or new towels but at lease go and straight the room. This is the first time that happens to me that they don’t do it.

The main thing I liked about the property was the location right next to the best restaurant 54th. I didn’t like that I could see the mold in the shower.

15th march seemed short staffed wouldve been nice if pool towels were stocked, sheets were in the room already for the pull out bed and or brought to us... we had to go get them and after traveling all day was kinda sucky. Also complementary water wasnt full when front desk was just sitting at the desk not busy at all.... next morning breakfast was unorganized and busy we just left after waiting for 20min.... didnt seemed stocked or prepared. Other wise other days and experience was good.

I had a wonderful stay here while visiting for my son’s Air Force graduation. The hotel felt very safe and welcoming for families, which meant a lot to me during such a special trip. The staff was absolutely amazing so kind, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. They really made our stay comfortable and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My husband and I wish we could have this room wherever we travel. This is the nicest room we've ever had. To begin, his back hurts when sleeping on plush topped mattresses as this and most hotels have. What they have at this hotel, though, is a deep cushioned couch with firm cushions on which to sleep. Remove the back cushions and there is plenty of sleeping space. He slept very well. Our room was on the top floor, thus the 4th floor, and it was extremely peaceful and quiet. The hotel is in a quiet area in itself. Our room was spacious and we didnt feel cramped. The toilet is in its own room with a sink. The bathtub is in a separate room with counter and sink. In the main living area is a dresser with a mirror on the wall. The walk-in closet has a full length mirror. I could open the closet door and see the back of my hair for drying and styling using those two mirrors. I always pack an extension cord due to situations like this when I styling my hair in the main room. This room has a fridge and microwave that worked great. Our TV worked great. The couch is in its own sitting area with a sliding frosted glass window separating the sleep area. The couch area has a desk. There is an indoor pool which we didn't try, and a 24 hr fitness room. Complimentary coffee, tea, cream and sugar are always in the lobby. We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, so I can't comment on that. We had plenty of hot water for showers, the room was fresh and clean, plenty of towels, all was great.

This is no resort by far, having to pay for parking and not being aware of it until check in was kindly upsetting. The mattress felt as if it was a deflated air mattress. Although the staff was very pleasant, the room was absolutely horrible. Ants, dozens of them, were crawling all over the nightstand. The sheets had stains on them. The towels had little black hairs on two of them. One towel was covered in them and another had quite a few. Absolutely disgusting. I thought with this being a hotel by Marriott it would be decent. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

The only difficulty I experinced was the water comtrol in the shower. You have to turn it the opposite way it said. It showed cold to the right that was in fact the way you turn it for the hot. And vis versa .

It was definitely too cold to enjoy and that was one reason we chose to stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Kids in hallways late at night. Flight Crew in need of late checkout, told it was not available. Bath in one of the rooms showing excessive wear.

Was there for military graduation, no to go breakfast options. Mold in bathroom on wall and on the mirror when we checked in, made report, didn’t do anything about it. Second made another report she said it had been taken care of. No it wasn’t. Also the shower curtain was cut tooo short so every time someone showered the bathroom would flood. Said they would change it again first day, still when we left 3rd day not fixed. The smell of the room was terrible. The hallways and the main area smelled great. The pool was cloudy and we didn’t even get in.

To start, the room was fairly quiet, the water pressure was very good, and the location is great for going to Seaworld. And the A/C worked pretty well too. The breakfast options are decent, but nothing exceptional. If you like eggs and sausage, oatmeal with lots of topping options or standing in line for waffles, you'll be satisfied. The coffee was okay. The beds are creaky and not that comfortable. I'm not crazy about the sliding doors with the frosted windows. They let out too much light and there's no sound absorption. My biggest issue is that, except for the little yellow sheet of paper for your car dashboard, there was nowhere that said they charge $10 a day for parking. I only found out when I got my bill at the end of the stay. They were nice enough to take it off the bill when I complained, but just be warned, they do charge.

Lighting in the room is not enough. Bathroom mirror light did not work. Morning breakfast service was poor. The staff could not fill all the breakfast items. We have not ask the staff for every item to be filled.

Dirty, hair balls everywhere. Broken tile floor in front of tub that was siliconed on some of the cracks but mortar was missing on half of the tiles causing large amount of space between floor and tile. Gaps pinched my daughter’s feet. Tv was hanging off the stand broken so you have to watch with head tilted 45 degrees. Pool had layer of foam like gallons of chemicals were added to try to fix how cloudy it was. They use extension cords for the waffle machines, that kept getting unplugged causing delay for everyone trying to make their breakfast. Hotel wasn’t even full or busy, i don't understand why they book their worst rooms. Which makes me wonder if this was the best conditioned room in their hotel.

This property was nice and very clean. I was in town visiting for my sons AFB graduation. The commute from the airport was about 20 minutes and thw commute from the hotel to the AFB was about 15 minutes which was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

I love the hotel, the room, and the very friendly staff. The only thing I don't like is that they charge $10 a day for parking, but the hotel is nice, thanks to all the staff.

We were only guests for one night but Samantha made our stay memorable. Prior to check in I had called and spoken to her, twice. Both times she was friendly and helpful. When we arrived, I apologized for being so “extra” and she just smiled and said it was no problem. When we went to our room our lock on the door was having issues and wouldn’t lock. Samantha sent maintenance up right away and he fixed it.

The bed had hair on top and under the cover.

Save yourself the headache and just spend the extra money to stay somewhere better. The only positive about this place is Maria. Staff is rude and cleaning folks smell like an ashtray. The smell of cigarettes lingers. Also they charge for parking which I don’t understand. The area is not patrolled what so ever

The room was a bit smaller than what we expected but ended up being just right for our family outing. The indoor pool was really cold for us but my kids (8) (6) didn’t mind it at all. We didn’t communicate much with the staff but they were friendly the times we did. My only complaint is paying for parking but I know that’s to be expected everywhere we go now. If there are blood stains just throw away blankets and get new ones. It’s gross and I couldn’t wait to go home.

The bathroom set up was unique. The toilet was seperared from the shower.

Serene environment. Service is good but can be better with room service needs.

Loved it super nice rooms breakfast was great and always a little different each day we loved that the most was clean nice workers and in a great location.

Staff were excellent and friendly (Samantha). Rooms were clean. Housekeeping was accommodating. Will definitely return there or another Marriott property in the very near future!

Room was spacious and bathroom and shower were separate. Unfortunately beds were uncomfortable, limited outlets for chargers near the beds, first day they didn’t clean our room and left a note saying they stopped by but due to “privacy sign up” they didn’t clean, yet there wasn’t anything up. During the last night power went out, we had to carry all of our stuff down stairs and had no access to outlets for hair tools/lights in the bathroom and everything else you need power for, nothing was compensated for it.

They didn’t have enough clean face towels to cover each day of our stay. Other than that, the hotel was as clean.

Our room had broken tiles, and a tub that did not drain. It was dirty around the edges of the floor in the room and throughout the hotel. The high chairs in the lobby were covered in food and germs. Probably have never been cleaned. We had 6 people in our room and the lady at the front desk would not give us towels unless we brought back dirty towels. Was very frustrating. She would not give us hand towels or wash clothes! I paid so much for our week stay and was very disappointed. I don’t think I will ever stay at your hotel chain again! Your quality and customer service has gone down hill!! Oh and $10 a day for parking? Why? Should be free! Fire doors throughout the hotel were propped open!! Not safe!

The room was not clean and there were multiple issues such as clogged sink, bathroom hardware non operational, light not functioning. We have a list of 15 issues we are reporting to the hotel.

The room we got looks like it’s way overdue for repairs. Too many to list, it felt like I was staying in a room that was half assed renovated. I will book with a different hotel on my next visit. Sorry SpringHill but you are too old now and ill-maintained.

I've never stayed at a Springfield Suites, so I wanted to like it. However, just the general overall layout of the room was awkward. I didn't like that the toilet and shower were in two separate rooms with a random closet between the two. The lobby loked and smelled clean, but the room itself was just just ok in terms of cleanliness. The real problem was the noise level. There were people right next door to us that had loud children who were up until midnight and then at 5am it sounded as if there were people working on the roof of the hotel possibly (we were on the 4th floor), but it woke us up. The noise persisted until we checked out at noon so I don't think it was a guest making the noise. So needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. I don't think I'd stay at this hotel again.

Charged $10 a day for parking. Stayed Monday through Wednesday and came back after a day at Sea World by 5:30pm and room was still not cleaned. One staff member said they were short staffed, another claimed they don't clean rooms on Tuesdays. Down comforter had blood stains and nasty yellow spots (bodily fluid), pillow case had mascara smudges, and sheets were worn down, almost torn. Lobby was nice and breakfast was great, but room was disappointing. Greatest takeaway: spend a little extra for cleanliness. Won't stay here again.

This place is definitely not a Marriott standard hotel. The blankets were all stained asked for new ones those were stained also along with the towels. Talk to room service they said all blankets are like that. Bathroom floor tiles were broken. There was a lot of smoking going on in the hotel also. Very unpleasant stay!! If there wasn’t a big function going on in San Antonio I would have switched hotels but every hotel was full.

The hotel itself was clean and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, which was a definite plus. However, it's important to note that early check-in is not available, so arriving before 3 PM can be frustrating as the staff strictly enforces this policy, sending guests away until the designated check-in time.

Room not very clean, microwave was filthy inside and out. Stains in tub and water wouldn’t go down. Was advised previously when booking there would be $10 a day parking which made no sense for this old hotel. Stayed at a newer one literally 1 minute down the road and they don’t charge for parking. Only 3 towels for a 2 queen room for 4 adults and when asked for clean towels was told I had to take them the dirty one first to exchange for clean ones.

The staff were professional and friendly. If you are going to a BMT graduation, don’t choose this place for free breakfast because you will be leaving before the breakfast opens and returning after it closes. It was one of the deciding factors for us (before I knew about the bed) and we were not able to enjoy the breakfast. I would suggest to management to have “to go” breakfast BMT boxes. Maybe a muffin, boiled eggs, fruit, and/or dry cereal and a beverage.

Comfortable stay. Breakfast was okay. Wish it had better seating for larger families with kids. Loved that it had an indoor pool, my kids used for 2 hours. Looked clean enough. The bleach smell was pretty strong though. I wish I didn’t have to pay for parking. I absolutely hate having to do that when I’m already paying to stay there. It’s not like parking looked limited. I would still stay here again.

My stay was very enjoyable.

The location was perfect if you are visiting a loved on at Lackland Air Force Base!

My room was awful. The bathroom door kept getting stuck, the shower door wouldn’t shut.

We had a very nice stay at SpringHill. We were just disappointed that we paid for two extra days we didn’t need and were not refunded. It has been our experience if you check out early you pay for what you used. We were there to bring our grandsons to witness their mother graduation from the air force basic training.

Clean and convenient location. But it is inconvenient to use restroom at sleeping time because the room is face to face with sleeping beds.

I purposely parked in front of 2 cameras because there were reviews 6 months ago from other customers that their vehicle was broken into. My vehicle was broken into the first night of us being there. I talked to the General manager to see the footage of the break in, since i parked in front of 2 cameras. She proceeded to tell me, she already looked at the footage and the camera's are too blurry and don't really work well at night. I said, that's fine, I would still like to see them, maybe I will be able to see something else. She said, I can get a warrant if I would like to see them, she will not let me see them without it. Something is off about that statement. Problem number 2. The staff have no clue how payments work. Upon my check in I had to put a card on file for incidentals. When I checked out early due to the break in, I asked if I would get a refund for the 2 nights I didn't stay. (checked out right after the break in of night 1) they said I would have to go through hotels/expedia, since they don't even have a card on file for me. I insisted it would be from them, since I already talked to expedia and I paid the hotel directly. Along with this, they sent me invoice for 2 other guests, that weren't even me. This is a scam hotel.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly

They both had counters and sinks. One had a toilet and the other had the bathtub shower. The room was large and the couch was wide. There was also a desk and chair and spacious area for a fridge and microwave. The hotel was clean and quiet.

This stay was very subpar for a Marriott location. The lobby was clean and check check-in was smooth despite them not offering the customary cookies when we checked in and when I asked about them the lady at the front desk said yes we have them and waited for me to ask if we could get one to finally give them to us. Also at check-in they notified us of a $10 parking fee, despite it not being on their site. They said all Marriotts are starting to charge for parking. Also they did not have extra pillows, in which we found odd because the hotel seemed less than full. The floors were clearly not vacuumed in the room and the mirrors had kid hand prints everywhere. prints aloverovewassmooth

We usually love staying in this chain of hotels but the room we got had mold in the shower ceiling. And the 2nd room the tub was clogged so all the junk came out when shower was on. Other than that the beds were comfortable.

room 225 toilet lock was missing, you could hear the toilet flush on the ceiling from the upper floor. They don't empty the trashcan daily. We are not happy with our 3-night stay.

I was traveling from Houston to visit SeaWorld San Antonio And come to find out their was out of queen beds and only had Kings bed available so we sleep all uncomfortable for the mistake of the hotel or Expedia that overbooks it
