Room is spacious and clean.

The location is good, very close to the Alamo and Riverwalk entrance. Honestly, is a good hotel to stay when visiting San Antonio and dont want to break the bank.

Lower prices valet too high but excellent

The staff was all very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good everyday. We absolutely loved that we were in walking distance to the riverwalk and river center mall as well. The only thing we didn’t like was if we couldn’t find a parking spot we had to use valet and that was expensive for just using over night.

The breakfast was exceptional and staff was great. We had an issue with our AC unit and the maintenance departments were quick to fix the issue. The location was amazing walking distance to the Alamo and river walk.

We had a great stay, good breakfast. The room and building are in excellent conditions I’ll stay here again when I’m back in San Antonio.

Rooms could be a lot cleaner and house cleaning struggled with getting clean sheets and towels having multiple guest waiting on checking in on time

The beds were super comfortable. The room was big and clean. The conditioner bottle was empty, we called and let them know. They brought a replacement quickly. The parking at the hotel is valet only but the valet was awesome. The breakfast was th normal breakfast but the coffee was out. They were slow to refill.

The staff is friendly and helpful It’s dirty, pool is dirty rooms are dirty, the bed had a big indention and there was dirty q tips by the window. The noise level is pretty loud at night. The cars on the street sound like they are in your room and you can hear EVERYTHING.

Pool is ok, it doesn't stay in the sun very long as it sits between two buildings. The hot tub was not functioning correctly, the buttons don't work and it was just warm water, it was 90 degrees out. The workout room was small with equipment shoved in there so really other than biking or walking you can't do much else if anyone else is in there with you. The floor was incredibly noisy at all hours of the day and night. Two nights in a row the fire alarms were tripped and for prolonged times. The other visitors on our floor had multiple screaming matches and despite saying something to the front desk twice, nothing was ever done. You can hear every rev of an engine or honk outside on the street below so recommend bringing ear plugs or headphones if you are sensitive to noises while you sleep.

Housekeeping never came by our room. The fire alarm went off four times between 8pm and 11pm two nights in a row. When we requested for housekeeping to come by, they left the door open to our room. The elevator floors were left very sticky all day. I was not impressed by the overall cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. There is only Valet parking which is another $39 a day that is not included in the listed price. You are required to pay a $150 security deposit upfront even if you’ve already paid for your reservation. Maybe that is a reflection of the type of guest this hotel receives? Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk responded very quickly to our request for housekeeping and the valets were very attentive. However, we would not come here again.

The hotel was clean and had a friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best of all, was the convenient location.

Carpet on the floor appeared clean but bathroom floor had sticky pee stain around the toilet, I noticed two different bugs on the bathroom floor in the morning. Breakfast is reasonable. Friendly staff.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good hotel staff were helpful. Parking is valet and cost $45usd per day so if you stay one night they count it as 2 days we got charged $100 for one night. I've stayed here before and the valet parking was free. To me this is a scam cause you really don't have any other options unless you want to risk getting towed on the curb side street. I won't be staying here ever again due to this.

The staff was very nice but the hotel just seemed run down. It wasn’t really bad by any means but it certainly wasn’t as nice as other hotels I’ve stayed at. The room was pretty bare and didn’t have all the extras that other hotels typically have. The gym was very run down. The hot tub was broken for the first day we were there and the next it was fixed but was colder than the pool. For the price it was okay.

The hotel alarm went off twice at 2 am . The toilet was not functioning well. The bed was horrible and non of us could rest well during our stay.

The fire alarm went off four random times, twice in the middle of the night at 3 and 4 am while we were sleeping. There was an empty alcoholic drink in the closet that did not belong to any of us. No lotion or hand soap. Staff was friendly. Will probably not stay here again.

The hotel was half empty but, we got the rooms a=on the 1st floor. 0 privacy. They said: "we can give you any room for your price" though it was not cheap (there were way cheaper places around but, we expected a kitchen and got none). The trick with the parking is sad. We had to carry our bags to the parking lot behind anyhow as the attendant did not want to bring the car in front, Also, during check-in, the car was taken to the parking lot before we had finished the unloading. The attendant was very unhappy to bring it back. The hotel location is poor and you need to walk a distance to get to the "walk". The room was never cleaned during our stay. I have stayed in San Antonio before and this one was my worst. It is not horrible but, you can get better.

DON'T STAY HERE! This was my worst hotel experience ever. From staying in a room overlooking a busy and loud street, walking up and down 3 flights of stairs due to a broken down elevator during a busy holiday season, having no parking except for their ridiculous $37/night valet parking, to, best of all, having an item stolen from my room. I left my room quickly on our 2nd day there and failed to hide my Kindle before leaving for the day. When we returned to the room that afternoon, the Kindle was gone. Of course, no one who entered my room for housekeeping knew anything about it, and the hotel management was completely indifferent to the issue. We really enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Alamo and several other must-see spots, which made sightseeing super easy. The tub in the bathroom looked terrible it clearly needed to be resurfaced really bad!!!!! Had to put towels in the bottom of the tub to take a shower and that was with shower shoes on!

The AC fan made a racket, but we since didn't turn it on until we got back into the room around midnight, we didn't bother to request service. Breakfast was pretty standard. Nothing special. Parking is expensive for what it is.

Everything was great, 8 minute walk to the Riverwalk! Only downside was the parking. They only have valet parking for $37. Felt like I had to use it to have peace of mind regarding my vehicle. But overall, a great experience.

Room was clean and spacious! The lights didn’t work well, very confusing which switches went with what and multiple bulbs were out. Also pool and hot tub closed at 10 which was a bummer because we really wanted to use it when we got back at 940. Breakfast was fun with the Texas shaped waffles.

My friends and I stayed here for San Japan since it's a short walk to the convention center and we had a very nice stay! There are some things that could use updating (the water pressure in our shower was spotty, the tub was scratched up and dingy, there were faded stains on our bed sheets, etc.), but the friendly staff made up for these minor inconveniences. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely helpful and kind! This plus the yummy breakfast options and the convenient area of the hotel were great. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms was very clean and the bed was nice and the mattress was very comfy and soft . Restroom was excellent and soap and shampoo dispensers was a nice touch .Walking distance to the river walk. The pool and jacuzzi was really clean. The staff was really friendly

The housekeeping was awesome, always came back to a tidy, clean room. All the hotel staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed overnight for a business trip. It was a pleasant stay and covered everything needed. The only downside is you have to pay for parking but that’s optional and up to the guest to use or not. Hotel staff from valet to front desk were great!

We stayed at 6 properties in the last 7 days. And this by far was the nicest it had everything at our fingertips, including the river Walk the Alamo attractions, restaurants bars. Can't say enough would recommend this to anybody business or family

Amazing staff

We loved the breakfast and pool but the fitness room was small. The check in wasn't that great, since we got there early.

Breakfast was good and the ladies responsible for making it happen were amazing.

Hotel and service was amazing. Only part I didn't like was the cost for parking, we were able to find a good very cheap option for parking. Other than that, the stay was great for my little one's birthday.

The staff was very friendly. Even the maids that we encountered in the hallways or on the elevators took the time to greet us.

Only issue was there were was only one tiny 2drawer dresser so we didn’t have enough storage for all of our clothes. And pool area was nice wish the jacuzzi was hotter though. Jacuzzi was just warm.

Parking is hell.They said parking free and available,But charged.And room service cleaning was not good.Just adjusting for second day stay,not changed bed sheets not cleaned sink area,could see hair around.not recommended.Breakfast not good.

Your location is great for the Alamo and the Riverwalk. You have large spacious handicap accessible rooms that are easy to move around in. Very comfortable beds. Friendly people greet you upon arriving.

I recommend covering parking

This property was within 10 minutes walkig distance to anything we wanted to do. There was some construction which changed routes, but we figured out how to get around quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. For a family with 2 children, it was nice to have the couch as a seperate bed so they didn't have tonshare a bed. Based onnour stay here, we will be looking for other Springhill hotels when we travel from here on out.

From checking in till checking out service was great! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The variety at breakfast was great! Will stay again.

Valet parking is pricey but there is on the metered parking in the area. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast options were a plus. Staff welcomed us and was helpful. Will def stay there again and would recommend.

Wonderful experience here in San Antonio! I wish we had built in two nights of our trip for this stop. We paid for the valet parking and walked from the hotel to the Alamo, Whataburger, and the River Walk. Breakfast was great. The pool was amazing...the hot tub even better!

The checkin and staff was really friendly. But the room could have been cleaned better. Also the fire alarm went off right around 5pm on a Friday and after the 2nd time we called the front desk. Which stated that it was just a test. Well we would have liked a heads up if you were testing the fire alarm. As some of us were resting at that time!

Girls trip. 5 girls in a suite with one mirror was a challenge. The room was set up for 5 people but towels/wash clothes for 2, so had to bug staff continually for those. Staff was super nice about it though. Great location for walking to the river walk, Alamo.

Very noisy, maybe warn potential customers that the hotel is located near bars and clubs and you will hear music and bass reverberation until 2:30 am.

Staff were simply amazing--super friendly, welcoming and attentive to every need. The breakfast is one of the best we've had anywhere--hot scrambled eggs with chorizo, sausage patties and refried beans, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, fresh fruit, you name it, they had it out there and the kitchen staff was attentive to keeping things well stocked and fresh. Our room was a king-bed suite, and we love the layout. Separate sitting area with a couch and desk, a small mini-kitchen near the entry, large bathroom with sink/dressing area separated so you didn't fog up everything. Water pressure was awesome and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. One complaint we'd have to point at housekeeping--there was some dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom and some tooth paste splatter on the dressing room sink and mirror. Those items called into question how well they were vacuuming the carpeted areas that you couldn't assess so well and wiping down other surfaces in the room. One last note-they do have a reasonably good workout room with several treadmills, a bike, elliptical machine and some free weights. That was a welcome amenity which we had all to ourselves every time we used it.

The property was clean and it is located at a convenience location, what we didnt like was the cost for valet parking. Other places charge less.
