The Bad- The room has two small roaches and when I brought it up to the front desk staff they said " sorry about that , did you give them a good squish" . This was not only appalling but outright disrespectful . This was not the appropriate coming from who I believe is a manager there. Also, The pool area was lacking towls and should be capped as far as how many people can be in it at once. When we used it ( my wife, daughter and I ) there was already 12 people there and given the small size of it , the experience was not fun since we had no where to move. This is minor but the medications they had for sale were out of stock and they did not offer to replenish them whatsoever even though I asked twice . I had one interaction with a lady who was house keeping and I asked if she had towels since she was working on the room in front of ours and she said " you have to go downstairs and ask for them" . This response was unwarranted and usually if they don't have them on hand they would offer to get them for you given they are house keeping The food offered was ok and there wasn't that many options. Would I stay here again absolutely not, This is definitely you get what you pay for type of situation and a huge learning experience Next time I'll make sure to stay somewhere else. I hope this review helps another family make the best choice for them.

I rented a double queen suite with a pullout for 5 people, we got 4 towels and 1 was cloth. Staff called us at 4:37a to let us know the towels were dry. The room was nice and spacious, we absolutely loved the set up. The pool was closed too so the kids didn't get to swim the morn before check out.

Staycation- Rented room to take visiting grandkids swimming. Pool was extremely small and reeked of chlorine to the point it burned your eyes within 5 mins, no pool towels, floors were dirty. Picture of pool area that is posted online is not a fair depiction-details a water rain spout-no on. The room was roomy good layout just a few flaws-broken bathroom door would sway and not lock at all, broken headlight on one of the beds, AC unit did not cool well. The hotel hallways were extremely warm. Breakfast area was overcrowded, not enough room or food, they ran out of food almost immediately and not a great selection either. Parking and check-in was ok.

Let me start off with saying the general manager tried helping. We arrive to our hotel at 10pm checked in and went to our 1st room one of the beds had mold. Went down stairs and they moved me rooms not really apologetic so we go to our next room mind you it’s late and I have five young kids with me. We get to our room and the couch is broken and the pull out bed torn and there’s trash in the room. Go back down stairs clearly upset and let them know they go we I can move you rooms again. So they move me a third time but this time I call the general manager and he said he would fix the situation to try one more room and if it’s not up to par he’d go to each room personally and find me one. The third room wasn’t too bad but the mini fridge didn’t really work well but I told my husband we bunk it through. I managed with ice buckets to keep the babies milk from spoiling.

We booked a room for 5 people ( 2 adults , 3 children). The room has a king size bed and daybed with trundle. When we got there, there were no beddings and pillows for the day bed/trundle. When I asked the receptionist regarding the the missing beddings and pillows, she gladly gave me the missing items except for the pillows. She said that she couldn't find the pillow as of that moment, and she would just have it dropped off in our room. No one came and we ended up sharing the 4 pillows that were on the king size bed.

Staff Ms Kimberly was exceptional,very helpful and handled not only me but others as well with a smile and excellent customer service, cause there was a long line and she was the only one at the desk but she didn't show that she was under pressure instead she greeted each and everyone of us that walked in with a smile. People like her make you want to book with the hotel more They had some people above us with kids cause we were on the 1st floor, jumped, stomped and ran all night until we had to call the front desk. Remind you that it was already 1:30a to 2a in the morning. I think people with kids should be on the 1st floor instead of other guests because of the noise

The hotel is old, and it’s showing. I resided in room 134. Restroom threshold broke, spiders webs inside, dead roaches under the a/c unit, restroom door handle broke, sofa cushions were ripped and stained, no hand soap in the restroom, missing ceiling tile in the hallway and water dripping. THE STAFF WAS AWESOME ASF. Shout out to them, it’s not them it was the hotel itself.

This was our first time at this hotel. I selected it because of the good reviews, convenience to the San Antonio airport, complementary buffet breakfast, and the 24-hour complementary shuttle service. However, the male shuttle driver was completely non-communicative and did not help my young daughter and I with our luggages during this 1AM pick up even after informing the friendly front-desk staff on the telephone that I had become sick on our flight due to the excessive turbulence during landing post-thunderstorms. The breakfast buffet was even more questionable - it was messy, the waffle machines had some type of electrical problem and turned off automatically with a long line of patrons. This occurred well before the end time and had to be brought to the staff‘s attention. The orange juice was empty and the liquid catch was overflowing. I spoke to a family who regularly stay at this hotel and enjoy the breakfast and they attributed the breakfast disorganization to a female employee who has unfortunately been out sick for a few months now. If an organized and well-maintained complementary breakfast buffet is why you come here, you may want to hold off until that fabulous woman who handles the breakfast buffet returns to work. Doubt we will stay again. The one upside is the women at the front desk were always exceptionally friendly and did their best to be as helpful as possible.

They had their own shuttle, but we had a rental. Hot breakfast every morning room was pretty clean although service made the one day but didn’t make the order. I didn’t understand that, but I’m not gonna complain. I would stay there again.

I want to be brutally honest, the staff at this location is beyond wonderful!! The hotel is in deep needed renovations you can tell when you first walk in of damages in lobby and leading on.

Cleanliness was bad. Our room had dirty bed sheets and blankets. The shower tub was dirty. Had to ask for clean sheet and have tub cleaned again. Hallway carpets dingy and dirty.

The friendly staff and the nice facilities. It feels nice when you are welcomed back (we have stayed 3 times prior) by the receptionist. Kimberlie is awesome; friendly, respectful, and helpful and all with a big smile and warmth. The bathroom door was a little hard to close.

The rooms were NOT cleaned for 8 days even after we talk to the staff multiple times during the stay. Lights in room flickered on and off. In door pool had to much chlorine causing eyes to burn.

We saw a roach in the bathroom.

The women's restroom in the lobby could use some remodel attention. The lobby smells like chlorine from the indoor pool.

The best customer service!! We needed a close place to stay since our flight got in at 1 am. Room was nice and clean. Our shuttle driver was quick, friendly and very helpful. When we arrived the gentleman who checked us in already had our info pulled up so we could quickly get checked in and to our room. He was the nicest and very thoughtful. He knew our flight was long and wanted to make sure we had something to eat. He gave us some goodie bags with snacks and water, which my kids were very happy about. Nothing we asked for just him be considerate which we truly appreciated!

The room was really nice . The hotel in general was nice. My kids loved the pool it was just a lil packed but overall it was awesome. Only issue we had is that the room had no ac, it had broke or something before we got there & didn’t notice till it started getting really hot in there. They didn’t have any other rooms so we stayed & they came and brought us 1 box fan but it was still pretty hot all night . Other than that everything was good. The room was very spacious .

NOTHING Not my first time staying here, but this visit was unacceptable. On my previous stay there were minor issues, but Kim is a hidden gem and made the experience much better. This time the room was in terrible condition — wallpaper peeling and overall very unsanitary. It was so bad I had to buy my own cleaning products to clean the shower and toilet. I was approved for a late checkout until 1 PM (noted on my receipt). When I returned to the room before that time, a man was already inside cleaning. When I questioned it, he began yelling at me in Spanish. The front desk agent, “Jack,” showed no concern and even checked me out while I was trying to resolve the issue. I was given the manager’s information, called immediately, and was told I’d receive a follow-up. It has been almost a week — no response. Very disappointing experience. Poor cleanliness, unprofessional customer service, and not worth the price. I would not recommend staying here.

Loved the size and price for the room, staff was incredibly amazing the whole stay. The bathroom door would not lock, there was hair and mold in the shower, lots of hair and mold sadly. The dresser was beat up, had scratches and wear all over it that seemed like someone intentionally tried to ruin it. The coffee pot was already full of water and I had no idea how long it had been in there which means the cleaner hadnt been checking the coffee maker for cleanliness.

The staff alone is one of the most hospitable staffs I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the shuttle to the front desk they show absolute care for you and your stay.

Just an overnight trip to San Antonio for a graduation. You can’t beat the location and convenience of this property, that’s why we stay here. But my room was disappointing; it felt like it needed some detailed cleaning, especially in the floors ands in the bathroom.

Room had a humid strong smell , they offer room cleaning one of the days we where staying and the cleaning person juwt took out the trash , did not leave clean towels or did beds or anything just the trash , my little one got bit by something i think either it was a spider or something on the bed cause she was fine before bed and woke up with a big red mark on her leg that got worse later that day and the humid smell was obvious after we try to open the curtains, we noticed bugs on the carpet maybe cause they dont even vacuum my allergies got so bad i got an asthma attack. Pool is so small nothing compared to the pictures , I just think the price was to high for the room condition

We had a great time at this hotel, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. I will say it was extremely hot in the lobby and smelled of chlorine from the pool, but check in was a breeze thanks to Kimberly. It was not a good rest, but the staff made our stay wonderful. Also they offer free three mile shuttle services, so that was amazing! The pool was amazing we really enjoyed the waterfall. So all in all, it was restfully not the best, but the vibes (such as the friendliness of the staff and pool) were good.

Also needed an iron which they sent within a few hours. It should have been in the room ? Lots of issues which should have been checked by management or housekeepers. My room was fairly clean. The gym was dirty, it needed a mopping and sanitizer wipes. The front office and maintenance was kind, breakfast staff was efficient, and I did feel at ease with issue being resolved with them. I enjoy staying here due to location and the staff. Jacob, Jennifer, & Kimberly are absolutely sweet, kind, and provide 5 star customer service. If you stay here expect some air traffic noise, its literally across the highway from the airport. I believe housekeeping could do better but its nothing that has hindered my stay and/or I haven't been able to remedy myself. Breakfast is enough to get your day started (juices, coffee, assorted breads & bagels, oatmeal, eggs, breakfast meats, and make your own waffles) if you want more variety-there is a cracker barrel not far from the hotel. I enjoy staying here due to location and the staff. Jacob, Jennifer, & Kimberly are absolutely sweet, kind, and provide 5 star customer service. If you stay here expect some air traffic noise, its literally across the highway from the airport. I believe housekeeping could do better but its nothing that has hindered my stay and/or I haven't been able to remedy myself. Breakfast is enough to get your day started (juices, coffee, assorted breads & bagels, oatmeal, eggs, breakfast meats, and make your own waffles) if you want more variety-there is a cracker barrel not far from the hotel. Close to the airport and provides a shuttle bus which was nice! Nothing really walkable near the area but the drive isn’t too long to downtown. Good free breakfast!

I stayed here with my daughter for a get away trip for her 15th birthday. The property is very convenient to the airport. The staff is friendly. Our issues center on the cleanliness of our room. The beds were made, sheets were clean and no bed bugs to be seen. However, the room had a hard to place odor. Since we arrived and checked in late my daughter sprayed some perfume and we went to bed. The next morning while she was removing her retainer it fell behind the dresser next to her bed. When I moved it back there were tons of candy wrappers, old food and dust bunnies. We informed the hotel staff that morning at breakfast. They did offer to move us to another room. I declined and asked that they clean it instead since we had a full day. We decided to eat breakfast there. Despite being early down, they were out of almost everything except waffle mix and cereal. When the food did come out it was cold. Upon return to the hotel that evening we did our due diligence and checked behind the dresser. While the room was vacuumed, and beds were made, the smell was back and they still had not addressed the major issue behind the dresser. We checked out at 5AM for an early flight home.

Everything good just not well prepared. If I booked a room with sofa for 5 people means that I will use the sofa for a person, so bed sheets and pillows should be available at the room but there were not, so you have to walk downstairs to pick the sheets because they were out of pillows!!

This particular property seems a little dated. I stayed here because of the location. One inconvenience was that one of the entrances was locked, which was the side that was easier to get in through. Otherwise you have to go all around and deal with the expressway traffic. Two, the room was dated, the toilet roll holder was broken, the roll of paper was on the sink, wet. The large vanity mirror in the shower had no light, only is the shower stall making it difficult to blow dry, apply makeup ect. I probably wont stay there again.

We’ve stayed at Springhill Suites in the past and never had a problem, until now. We had a 3 night stay and not once did we have our room cleaned. I reported this to the front desk after housekeeping skipped our room after the first night and it still wasn’t cleaned. In addition, I reported that the deadbolt lock did not close; therefore, our room was not secure. None of these issues were resolved by the end of our stay.

Room was average for the price we paid. Front desk clerk had a bad attitude. Couldnt do mobile check in. When we arrived check in said at 3 but no rooms were ready and had to wait about 30 mins in the lobby for a room to be cleaned.

Room did not get cleaned until we asked about it. And when it was cleaned they did not leave appropriate amount of towels and removed a pillow. Breakfast wasn’t fresh. Hash browns were hard as a rock!

Hotel room was nice, clean & newer. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is very close to the San Antonio airport. The hotel does offer a shuttle as well. Free parking. The negative would be our toilet in our room was very loose and didn’t feel secure.

Also, my truck was broken into during my last stay. Fortunately nothing was taken because I don’t keep valuables in my truck. $265 later I’m going home with a new passenger rear window.

The front gal, Juanita, went above and beyond to get me booked an extra night when it was my mistake and booked my stay too short. She was amazing and patient the entire time.

Not the best, as you walk in to chech in there was a water leak coming from the second floor. The room smells and looks old.

Staff was absolutely amazing! They were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The airport shuttle was the highlight by being very prompt. I would definitely stay again and recommend others to stay.

Mirror light in bathroom did not work. Shower glass not cleaned. Hazy and spotty. Grime behind hanging shampoo bottles. Shuttle driver almost left the pickup spot without so much as pulling up to curb or opening the door. She had to be honked at and I had to run to her in the roadway. She said she didn’t know where I’d be and was going to loop around again. After I already waited 25 minutes I didn’t want to wait any longer. I was at the exact location that the hotel operator told me to wait at. You should offer grab and go breakfast for those who have to leave before the regular breakfast starts at 7. Need a better variety of food in the sundry shop. Would be nice to have something microwaveable but shelf stable like cup o noodles for late travelers who don’t get a meal yet.

There was a blower fan in my room when I checked in. The carpet was wet and it was getting dried and the room smelled.

The room has a a/c unit they was extremely loud. When I requested assistance, I was informed that maintanence is no longer on site and no rooms were available

Plenty of pillows to adjust your sleeping position. Even though it was right there off freeway across from airport was very quiet. Only challenge was I had no hot water in my shower in the morning. Brrrrrrr sucked it up anyway.

Was disappointed stayed for 4 nights had to ask for them to clean and still just cleaned one time did not bring clean towels or wash rags pool.was to small charged more than what hotels .com stated

The rooms were dirty and the hotel was very loud.

Bed bugs on the room. Clothes press is not in working condition. Shower Curtain is too small. I suffered all red spots on my body sure bed bugs . Terrible. Will never ever stay here again.
