Loud noise 3-4am from outside music with a lot of base. Walls are thin and can hear kids crying from other rooms.

The breakfast menu needs more variety maybe a waffle maker and some type of meat for more protein.

I loved everything about it definitely getting another room soon!!!!

This stay was awesome! The staff was so nice, and the lady up front was awesome! There wasn’t a TV remote in my room, and they brought one up to me immediately. The room was so clean and the temperature stayed cool and consistent through my entire stay. Love that they offered a shuttle service to the airport too! It made me stress less about getting to the airport on time, especially because my flight was super early. 10/10 would definitely come back here!

Nice cc room and I would have given it the highest rating, but I couldn’t get hot water in my shower. It was barely lukewarm. The sink was fine though.

Everything was great very clean very friendly. The only thing I had an issue with was that one of the staff members allowed a previous guest knock on my grandma's door asking to go in and check if they left something at 10:30pm.

I had an early flight so wasn't able to have the hot breakfast. I did have dry cold cereal but that was okay. My only issue was the coffee. It was available but questioning how long it had been sitting there and it was only lukewarm.

Room is clean, this is ideal for couples. Not many options for breakfast.

Definitely save money thru Expedia for this hotel. I was looking at spending $250 outside of Expedia for a hotel room for the weekend. With their help I was able to book the hotel for less than $180

Well the room was clean but there was a dead cockroach on the carpet. The breakfast was okay but on the last day of our stay there were no boiled eggs left when I went down at 9am. My sister asked the woman taking care of the breakfast counter and she went and checked in the back and there was a whole basket of them. The other lady said she thought it was milk. The morning that I was getting ready to check out I received a call from a man (sounded like a young black man) on the hotel telephone. He said the hotel computers went down the night before and they needed all my info. again. He asked my name and when I checked in and when checking out. When he asked for my credit card I said I would go down and take care of it myself. He was insistent that he could take care of it and check my out now. I hung up and went down stairs to the front desk. The lady at the desk said they had called other people on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It was a scam by someone staying at the hotel. Not sure if anything was done about it.

Jacks the receptionist was amazing helping us with everything we needed and was extremely friendly. The pool was great and the rooms were very clean.

There is a random charge on my credit card for $5.40...not sure why but I hate when hotels do stuff like this..

From check-in to check-out everything was amazing! The room was nice, clean, and cozy! The breakfast was super delicious and it was my highlight of the day. I hope we can stay at this here again!

Great for a stay on the go/road.

The hotel has been renovated to the point that it is stark. The bed is as hard as a rock. The room for disabilities that I had had a tub. This would not be considered ADA compliant. Fortunately, I was able to carefully enter and exit the tub. The rest of the so -called drawers to place your clothing in is ridiculous. Everything is out in the open and not something I'd leave my clothing in. The hotel is not a new one to me. I have stayed there before and found it a nice place. Now the rooms are not inviting from the cabinets to the bed.

Breakfast was very limited, but my stay was nice. Front desk staff were very nice. They allowed me to check in early which was so appreciated since being on the road all day. Parking is $3 charge which is more than reasonable. Close to a lot of options and less than 10 mins from North Star mall. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Hallways are so dark, it does not make you feel you're in a hotel. NO Coffee make or Microwave in the room? Continental is too basic, compare to cheaper hotels it is an embarrassment. If you have kids, DO NOT STAY at Spark! The basic are barely met. FEE for parking! No...Not recommending

Did not have enough selection of food for breakfast. Maybe it was due to being a Monday, but there were no scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, no waffles.

Smells old! There were nats around the continental breakfast area and area felt unsafe. Homeless people hanging around the parking lot! And on top of that they charge you for parking at your own risk! Make no sense!

Everything was perfect until our last night. there was a lot of noise from the people above us and next door we called the front desk and asked if she could handle it, an hour after calling there was still a ton of noise happening so we went down to the front desk and ask Sarah if she could call or go talk to the two rooms about the noise because we had a early morning and if she didn’t take of it we were going to talk to them she gave us attitude and said “no confrontation or I will have to call the cops” that was about 9pm, 10pm rolls around and there is still noise we got maybe an hour and a half of sleep before having to be up at 1am. Other then that the room, breakfast and staff were excellent!

Parking fee was a surprise because when I booked it said parking is included. No big deal because it was only $3.99 a day. Also , noises /conversations, doors closing from the hallway can be heard in the room. Insulation must not be very good. Over all good deal for the price.

The moment I stepped into this Hotel I was impressed by how light and clean the check in area was. The staff greeted me right away and was able to answer any of the questions I had about the shuttle service to the airport. Once I got to the room the digital key actually worked and once in, my mouth dropped at the cleanliness. Wonderful!

The property had run out of breakfast items. Very important coffee, cereal, and yogurt for breakfast. It was supposed to be breakfast included and coffee was not available because the machine was broken. They ran our by 6:30 and breakfast is until 10am. No solutions or vouchers for guest to get much needed coffee. I really needed the cup of Joe I had a long drive ahead and ended up spending extra for coffee and breakfast before leaving San Antonio 😲. How does management not factor spring break guest?

would give this hotel 5 out of 5 if it weren’t for a few issues in the room. The shower head was broken, and there was a random connecting door that wouldn’t fully close or lock properly. Fixing these would make the stay perfect

The suite was very clean and rummy. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked. There were plastic cups in the kitchen area but no ice bucket. The staff took care of that immediately.

There were not bath towels or toilet paper in our room. My mom had to dry herself with two hand towels which is not acceptable. I had to go down to the lobby to get the missing items. I also want to mention the carpet outside of the elevators and in the hall is very dirty and full of stains, is very disgusting.

Pillows were too soft for my taste. Elevator doors took a really long time to open. They had coffee but the sign said their coffee machine was broken. And it was up for three mornings in a row. Coffee is the most imporant part of any breakfast.

Joyce was such amazing lady. Top notch costumer service and went above and beyond. Our flight landed early and there weren’t any rooms cleaned. She held our begs while we went to breakfast and when we came back she had a room ready. She also had our shuttle ready for us when we checked out. She was such a joy to speak with and made our trip amazing.

Small charge for parking seemed unnecessary. Substandard breakfast for the price (no hot dishes or protein except boiled egg).

Room was very clean. However, elevator was scary with loud doors opening and not closing all the way. I was afraid I'd get stuck. The staff was nice but they lock the doors after a certain time and require a door bell to be let inside the lobby. If it's for safety I understand but I was not told this info when I checked in. I was also not told when breakfast would be put away in the morning, hotel amenities, or checkout instructions.

The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Only two things were that the breakfast was very sparse. No hot items. Also had to pay for onsite parking and that wasn’t on the description. And it was a random $3.99 plus tax. Very strange. I’ve never paid for on site parking and it was just very random.

Very, very convenient for am overnight when our flight was canceled. Free shuttle was a huge plus.

I wanna start off by saying that the receptionists were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms however definitely do not look like the actual photos provided, I don’t believe there was a pool either. The bath tub would never properly seal and the water would leak back into the drain. My biggest issues though is that there was no cable TV provided and you had to pay for faster internet even though it claimed to have free internet. This hotel is more for convenience since it’s fairly close to the airport, however if you’re looking for nicer place to stay and relax, I would not recommend booking here.

Desk clerks were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room was well appointed, clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast menu is not impressive and they must look in to it. I also have not yet received my refund .. they said my refund will be directly deposited to my bank account, but I have not yet received it..

It's one of those mid class hotels. The surprise came when I was charged for parking--in an almost empty parking lot. Maybe this is the next step in the nickel-and-diming of this kind of cheap hotel. Next time I'll stay at La Quinta.

Quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had two rooms, with two kids that enjoyed the channel options. K at the front rest was great, as was the rest of the staff. Easy simple breakfast set up.

The 3rd shift lady was amazing. We were beat and tired when we rolled in at 2 am and she was amazing! Room was 10/10 and beds were great. The only thing I was disappointed by was they kept running out of coffee. This isn’t anything against the hotel because it was great. I just wish they had a 2nd thing of coffee. I’d stay again.

I liked the location of the hotel , the bed was comfortable but not the pillows… almost all the locations we needed to drive to were within close proximity… my wife absolutely loved the hotel .. The pillow were not too good.. the shower pressure was a bit weak… When I checked in to the hotel , the receptionist wouldn’t accept my registration cuz my email was in a different name (English) instead.. I was able to amend it so that was taken care of..

Clean, but a budget operation. No cups or glasses of any kind provided. Ok coffee and and excellent shuttle ride to the airport in the AM. Noisy people on the floor above, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Unsure why anyone would checkin to a hotel and stay up all night.

Clean room, staff was nice, they allowed us to take bagels, muffins, orange juice, coffee and fruits as grab and go breakfast. The shuttle service was excellent too.

The hotel is clean even came in to a sanitation tag around the toliets when we first arrive. Hotel staff are super nice. The pet fee as well was not over priced.

Best hotel ive stayed in while being in San Antonio. I've stayed in countless hotels and even airbnbs and the cleanliness let alone bed comfort was horrendous. Here it's very clean, cozy and comfortable beds.

I stay here frequently and like the access, large rooms, and is usually peaceful and quiet. Not Spark's fault, but this visit there was a HUGE motorcycle gathering over the weekend. The folks were nice enough but they took over the entire property, spilling out blocking the entrance and it appeared that everybody was smoking (cigarettes) and just tossing their butts all over the ground and planters. And overnight as they came and went they were very loud- even heard one fight (loud arguing back and forth that I'm surprised didn't get into fisticuffs). I was glad when they left and I got one quiet, peaceful night.

Staff was good. and i appreciated the restroom having sanitized indicators. However the walls are super thin, pillows were extremely cheap and sofa bed felt unclean enough to not allow my daughter to sleep on it. The fact that there was a biker christmas party at the place didn't help the cause; especially at 5-6 am when they were turning on their bikes to leave. Thus the paper thin walls.

the property was so nice but the 4th floor hallway was very dimly lit and i felt kinda unsafe, escpecially as two women traveling alone. also the doors on one of the elevators doesnt shut all the way and may need to be serviced. otherwise i had a great stay. the staff were very friendly. the beds were comfy and there was plenty of parking, which has been something ive struggled with at other hotels in San Antonio.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were clean. The neighborhood was not the greatest, and the hotel shuttle runs from 4 AM - Midnight, so it's worth noting for early risers that they may have to call a taxi. No didn’t work after midnight

The hotel was very quiet, staff was friendly. You have to pay per day to park in their lot no matter how long your stay is. Our bathroom fan didn't work, the bath tub doesnt drain so you are standing in a full tub as you shower. Other guests were complaining about this as well. Housekeeping comes in daily to restock your towels and make the bed, but we stayed for 2 weeks and our bathroom was only cleaned once while we were there. Floors were never vacuumed while we stayed. The breakfast is very slim picking. You get muffins, bagels, yogurt, a couple of different cereals, and oatmeal.

I like to stay in this hotels, they're clean the stuffs are friendly and helpful.

The building is poorly maintained, needs a better paint job, and the ice machines were not working on the 2nd and 4th floor.

This was a nice hotel. Room was big, clean and comfy. The only issue is that breakfast is served until 9:30am, we went down at 9am and there was one bagel and one banana left. I guess they don’t replenish. Good thing there is a Starbucks about 5 mins away by car.

Beds were good. Pillows soft. They charge for parking and they charge a deposit per night- 2 nights=2 deposits. Also, they let the deposit expire versus doing the additional work of releasing the funds, so they kept my deposit for 3 days beyond my stay. I called to ask about it and the front desk said it was my bank. The bank told me about the expiration on the deposit. Even though the rooms were comfortable, the hassle wasn’t worth it. Also, the breakfast is a bagel bar. They do have 24 hour coffee, which is nice.

Staff was friendly. The elevator door was operating oddly and there was an attempted car jacking while we were there. Heard the staff yell at the people trying to break into a car in the middle of the night.

The front desk staff were helpful and made check in/out very easy. Both rooms I had were clean and housekeeping crew replaced fresh towels every other day The only downside is the free breakfast. It's the same thing everyday for 11 days stay. Coffee and hot water after breakfast was warm at best. The hotel should switch to having a plugged in coffee and hot water machine instead of using a big hot flask that gets cold in a couple of hours or so. No variety for Breakfast. It's bagels, muffins and hard boiled eggs everyday. I had oatmeal for the first 3 days of stay and then it never came back. It's ok if you're staying 3 or 4 days but not longer.

Got to hotel. There were no glasses or cups to drink out of on room. The room had no ice bucket. We were in room 126 . It was decorated with sparsely. It was a big room that had a wet bar and a couch and tv in first part. Still no cups glasses or ice bucket in it. The other part of the room was the same. The breakfast the next morning was poor. No hot food only cereal and bagels and muffins. No cream cheese for bagel only peanut butter. Very disappointed. First time to stay at spark. There is a spark in nacogdoches Texas we drive past. The out side is modern looking with colorful outside. We thought it would be a neat place to try. Paid 117.00 a night Y’all call it like a premium economy. I call it barley economy. We could have stayed at Marriott Bonvy for the same amount. It is much nicer hotel. See above

We were staying for a couple days waiting for family to arrive in San Antonio. The room was ok but the service terible. Hard to get someone at the desk and both mornings they were out of most breakfest items. Had cereal but no milk. Had yogurt toppkngs but no yogurt. Told us their supplies weren't in yet. No milk really and easy fix just buy a gollpn or two. All this said we will not useHilton properties again.

It was a great stay! It was really clean and quiet. All the service was good! The only thing that could be looked at is the elevator on the right, it was too slow and noisy.

I had a issue with the breakfast on Saturday morning, there was no protein put out. I asked the front counter person they were apologetic but never did anything to check. When I asked about other food options near because I got in late and was not able to get my rental until 7am. Later in the day front desk staff told me that the protein had been prepped but not put out. The protein was put out on Sunday. So I know that it was available for Saturday.

Over everything was good, they have shuttle from and to the airport, close by the airport, restaurants and stores.staff was friendly, pool was clean, Breakfast menu was kinda small but it’s ok enough to get you started. Elevators were slow no big deal. Would most likely stay there again in the future.

The property was fine, but the fees for the stay are outrageous! 100$ a day per stay hold on card so instead of 300$ it’s 600$. 75$ a day per pet per day! This is insane! I will not stay here ver again simply due to the fees not being disclosed.

Right away the impression was accomodating after getting off the plane where Annie picked up and stowed my luggags and got me to the front door of the Spark by Hilton. The hand off was seemless and Tatiana explained to a great degree what I can expect during my stay. The smile says a lot and it was not forced. When I got to my room,it was so much more than what a word or a picture could evoke. Relief, content and relaxed are good things to feel after the last 18 hours. Just the entire demaenor of the property, and staff lived up to and exceeded expectations. You really do get what you pavy for. Thank you Hilton Spark for being 'just right' for me.

Staff and cleanliness was good. Place needed repairs. Breakfast was very minimal. The pace was not secure at some doors due to them not working properly. Outside was not well lit all the way around the property.

The walls are thin, beds are stiff, barely any breakfast options nothing hot is prepared just cereal and yogurt, they charged for parking on each vehicle and did not inform us prior. I asked about incidentals prior and was charged (200$) after I was told I wouldn’t be. Room had large stains and housekeeping didn’t make our bed/ give fresh linens for a multiple night stay. We won’t be returning.

On the website it states that the location has a gym onsite however there's no gym. One of the televisions didn't work in the room. There was no iron I the room for your clothes. The bed had hairs on the pillow. There was also hair strands in the shower. The also charge to park at a hotel as a guest. Not only do you have to pay for the room but the parking as well.

The hotel was clean. The staff were helpful, courteous, and went above and beyond to make our stay less unpleasant. That is the extent of my positive feedbacks. The air conditioning in our first room did not work properly. We were moved to a second room with the same problem and spent a miserable sleepless night in a hot bedroom. There was no ice bucket, cups, coffee maker, or microwave. For a king room, we were given only two full towels. We asked for extras and did not get any. Our second night, we were finally moved to a room with a functioning air conditioner, but night one is probably the worst night I’ve spent in a hotel. Again, nothing but kind words to say about the staff, but management needs to provide the amenities it claims to provide. It’s worth slightly higher prices to stay elsewhere.

Property looks like it’s a low end hotel

It was supposed to have shuttle service to/from airport, but I couldn’t get ahold of the hotel for pick up. Expedia also could not get ahold of the property so I had to pay for an Uber. Horrible experience especially at midnight!!

On my floor at the elevator, the trash cans were so full it had over spillage on to the floor for hours, even after I notified the front desk. At the coffee bar, it was really dirty with spills, sugar, paper, trash, and it is right in front of the front desk, so they were able to see it as well.

When we first arrived the A/C in our first room did not work. The young lady working the front desk was able to give us a new room and everything was great from that point forward.

Three stars because the front desk staff was nice, but the you couldn’t reach them from your room because they’re phone was broken from someone spilling tea in it they said. Anytime you needed to ask questions about where their one and only ice machine was, or if you could get more than two towels for your stay, you had to take their elevator. Also the stairs were out of order accident to a sign in every floor. That’s a safety hazard in itself, and given that the elevators are so slow they would have preferable to use. The hotel has been revamped a little from the Comfort Inn it was before, but the rooms are still threadbare and worn. It’s a good location, but there are better hotels nearby z

The check in was very fast and smooth, we did get a parking permit so I felt that my car was safe during our stay. The room was clean the lobby and breakfast area was also very clean and organized. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hallway smelled like cigarettes. The carpets are stained on the 3rd floor. The room was fairly nice. They charge for parking $3.99 and it’s a $100 a day incidentals fee. No covered parking is available. The continental breakfast was mediocre. I didn’t except much from that. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

Our room was super clean everything brand new and redone. Our toilet was the only thing that didn’t work very well, but once we told the front desk they immediately gave us a new room, which was just as nice. Front desk People were very nice, very helpful and the location is awesome. It is close to everything, definitely recommend and would stay here again

I was overall pleased with the cleanliness of this place! The toiletries were property stocked, beds and pillows were comfy and the furniture looks pretty new. For this price I was very impressed! The location is very convenient - very close to the airport and shopping centers. BTW the TV personally welcomes you as soon as you enter the room.

The room itself was perfectly fine — nothing special but it was clean. The amenities however left something to be desired. Another concern was how poorly maintained the elevators seemed to be… each one took way longer than you would expect, was particularly noisy, and the doors would stick open/closed. Not the worst stay I’ve had but again, not great. It was fine for one night before our early flight departure but I would definitely stay elsewhere next time.

The property was just like any other hotel near the airport. It was clean, staff was nice. The elevator was terribly slow, took 10 minutes to go one floor. The breakfast was not a breakfast. It was watered down juice, watery oatmeal, bagels, and fresh apples. That was the only options. I wouldnt even consider it a continental breakfast. Stay at the tru by Hilton. Dont stay at that Spark.

Excellent quantity of service

Because of the Hilton name, I was not concerned and the property was very clean. From walking in to the room and other accommodations I was pleased. The parking lot was a little dark and I worried for my car being parked in the back but it turned out good for one night’s stay.
