    Daily cleaning was OK. Staff OK, but forgetful about requests (only 3 hangers). I requested more, still only 3 after 2 requests and 3 days of my stay. I had to wrap the refrigerator adjustment knob with wire from a "bread tie", to make it turn the adjustment knob to the coldest temperature. (That was on the replacement of the first broken knob). At "free breakfast": pancake machine broken; The cereal (Fruit loops) cereal was stale; There was only 2% milk available, (98% water is not milk to me); Muffins were OK. Bread was OK. Parking was OK but it was not marked with lines or numbers on the back side of the hotel. The price was fair.

    Agradezco al personal de recepción la oportunidad de dejar nuestra camioneta justo frente a la entrada para tener más seguridad, ya que teníamos bolsa portaequipaje llena, y al dejarla estacionada donde nos ofrecieron incluso quedó protegida de la lluvia que se presentó ésa noche; un área de oportunidad es el desayuno, ojalá que mínimo agreguen waffles o pancakes.

    Staff amazing, rooms clean but the whole property needs a complete make over. Breakfast was wheat bread, coffee and I think poppyseed muffins 6, needs drastic help, so much for a hot breakfast! Bathroom had to be a joke it was so small it was an after thought!

    Room was clean, staff very nice, ac worked great. Breakfast choices weren't much but it was edible. Muffins, biscuits, orange juice, water. Vending machine broken. Overall for the price was very good. I liked it being by the highway as seemed less dangerous.

    They said that they had a breakfast “buffet. It was NOT! They had a pancake maker, but it was broken. They didn’t have eggs, waffles, or sausages like they had in their pictures. They had some biscuits, but they were stone cold. Very disappointed at this Quality Inn, because I usually like to stay at Quality Inn’s.

    how close it was to my destination. the key to go into my room didn’t work, it took so many tries before letting us in. the a/c barely functioned and made a loud noise that kept us up at night unless we turned it off. it smelled of mildew upon arrival, there were so many stains on the floor it was gross. we found a large bug on the floor and called the front, they sent someone to change the sheets. the tv was only cable, no clock in the room, no tv guide, no “do not disturb” sign. i wish i had more positive feedback but even the guest service was below average, i felt as though i was NOT welcome, no smiles or kindness just pay and here’s your room key. when i left there was no “how was your stay” either. in fact it says check out is at 11:00 am and by 10:00 am the front desk lady knocked on our day telling us to check out. we said “we thought it was at 11” and she goes “yes you still have time”. so confusing, so bothersome, and so not worth the money spent, will NOT be coming back or recommending this place to ANYONE.

    Pictures were total false advertisement! There was no parking! No working ice machines! No breakfast as told! Room was $138. Then they charged my card $100 deposit then a whole day after my check out they charged my card $198 for a smoking fee after my check out which I had definitely did not smoke, I had my 3 children and elderly mother with me but told them my neighbors were and saw them and they hung up on mye TWICE! when I asked for my refund of 300. Do not stay at this place! They fraudulently charge your card for fees when they know their property is a piece of crap already SMELLY AND GHETTO. I WOULD LIKE ALL OF MY MONEY BACK AND TAKE THIS PROPERTY OF HOTELS.COM

Stating the reservation was not made through the hotel directly but through a 3rd party app (Expedia). When trying to choose hotel accommodations and budget it would be beneficial knowing all fees prior to booking a hotel.

Lady at desk slow…did not know how to use computer…had to call someone and then left to attend to a crying baby in the manager’s office. $100 deposit on top of room fee charged in case of damage. Room had stains throughout on sofa, on light we’reswitches and bed spread. Broken plug on wall. Good enough after coming in at 1:00 am from a concert. Sleep and a shower.

    Room was clean. Comfy bed. Door isn’t sealed properly letting hot/cold air come in from the outside. Had to place a towel at the bottom. Ac seemed to work well maybe it needs a little maintenance though. Tv was a bit odd, I had a movie on and it was narrating it for me (I’ve seen the movie before that’s not how it should be). I couldn’t find how to turn that off. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, most people seemed disappointed that the coffee maker wasn’t working and the apple juice was tasting like apple juice, watered down. The orange juice, toast, muffins were good. Staff were friendly and always present when needed 10/10 on staff that’s the biggest thing, being there for the customers! Oh and the top lock was loose by the screws and broken in half that should be replaced for better security.

    Room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking. Running the A/C helped some. No soap in the bathroom, just shampoo and conditioner on the wall. The safety latch lock on the front door was broken off and couldn't latch. Also they charged a $100 deposit when staying here. I did not see anything about this when I booked online. The employee told me it can take up to 5 days to get the deposit back after checking out.

    The only positive was the location — it’s conveniently close to the Frost Bank Center, which was the main reason we chose it. However, the photos online were misleading. The rooms looked updated in the pictures, but in reality, they were old, smelled musty and humid, and the AC wasn’t doing much to help with the heat. The pool was unusable — dirty and full of trash and debris. The breakfast was also disappointing: just some juice, stale bread, and undercooked pancakes. Definitely not the “continental breakfast” we expected. On the upside, the staff was friendly, and they did answer all our questions, but they weren’t particularly helpful beyond that.

    In addition, the hotel smelled VERY much like strong carpet smell and mold when we checked in first. On TOP of this, the AC wasn't working really well. It was VERY HUMID when we first checked in and the humidity got worse throughout the night. Both of us were sweating a lot in our beds all throughout the night and could not sleep comfortably EVEN when the AC was blowing strongly loud enough (you would think it was working really well). All this was mentioned to the service desk receptionist but I was always told "The manager is not onsite." He could not speak English well which is a major disservice to customers.

    Hotel was not the worse but definitely no where worth the 130 I paid to stay a night. I was told on Expedia that I would need to pay a deposit of $50 when arriving and ended up being charged $100. Next I get to the room and two of the towels are dirty, I open the fridge and there is a whole 12 pack of beer from wherever previously stayed there.The restroom toilet was broken and would only flush after flushing twice, towel hanger was completely broken. Clearly this room was not ready to be rented out.

The bottom lock on the door was there but the typical latch up top was taken off. Not sure why but it kind of through me off. There is food around and close to Fort Sam Houston. Not bad for 50$ for one night. Breakfast was included as well.

    We got there & it was in the 30s, heat was completely off & the water was shut off with no warning. We could see our breathe inside the room! Had to call the front desk & he came up to turn the main water back on. Later discovered it was off because it leaks everywhere & the carpet was soaked by night 2 (see discoloration in photo). Room was decent looking but the curtains had red stains all over them. Sink water had one temperature & it was scorching hot. Smoke alarm also started randomly going off. Requested help & it took over an hour to get it. Man came in & climbed on the rolling chair to replace it…it wouldn’t screw in so he just unplugged it. Housekeeping also broke the security lock latch after slamming on the door (with the do not disturb sign on it) because the door was latched (see photo). Her excuse was “no English”. Would never recommend this hotel! Waste of money.

    We rented this hotel because it was close to the SA Rodeo and we didnt want go deal with parking. Upon arrival at the hotel the first thing we saw was pages of peoples names and license plates etc. I asked the guy if we could check in early. He said we had to pay a deposit and then 20 plus tax for early checkin. We asked why we had to pay the 100 for a deposit because we had already paid for our room he said it was normal. We got keycards for our room and they didnt work. After we finally got one that did we went in the room. It was very hot, smelled horrible and had gross stains. We turned ac on and went to get suitcase. Came back in and ac was off. We turned it back on and left because we had family waiting. We returned at almost midnight to find a very hot room. We called the front desk. He asked us a bunch of questions like we didnt know how to use an ac. He said he would be there shortly. After 15 min. I went to get ice and find out where he was. He finally showed up and tried the ac and then said he had no other rooms. We told him we just wanted a refund. He said we could deal with it in the morning. We contacted hotels.com who tried to speak with the hotel. They said the call was "dropped". We again asked the desk guy for the manager. He told us he was calling police. We asked that he please do. He refused and told us to leave the property. We were told by hotels.com that we will receive no refund of any kind.

    The shower had ZERO slip protection. It was perilous every second. A deserved lawsuit waiting to happen. How can guests be considered a priority when a simple safety fix is so obvious and soooo ignored??? The room was great, breakfast was better than most "budget" motels. It would cost next to nothing to rectify the shower danger that I assume exists in every room.

    Stained furniture in the room, cigarette burns on the bed, defective or non functional lighting, bathroom ceiling leaked, water was all over the toilet and floor, hair dryer was broken, as was microwave door handle. Minifridge was frozen over. Staff indifferent to room issues and unresponsive/unwilling to offer solutions. Will never stay here again and recommend anyone else considering think twice. Let my mistake prevent you from making the same one.

    Well let’s start from the beginning, I had called earlier in the day to see about possibly getting an early check in, was flat out told NO. I was surprised because most places offer that at a certain price, honestly just wanted to rest after driving to San Antonio. I arrived at the set checkin time and stated the name of the reservation and presented my identification. Was asked my form of payment of cash or card, I said card and was told to use the card reader and inserted my card. It was charged right away. Then was told (afterwards) if I going to use the same card for a $50 deposit. I was surprised because that’s something one is informed before having the reservation charged. I was upset because I was not informed beforehand because then they said it would “go back” to my card in 5-7 business days. I said well what if I had wanted to pay cash? the person at the front desk said “on you would get it when you would check out.” I also said that wasn’t priced at the time of when I made the reservation I had only agreed to the price I had made initially. The front desk manager or whatever he was kept trying to interrupt me while I was speaking to him. It got to the point I had to tell him to stop cutting me off when I was speaking about my concerns. Sad part was that he was training someone at the same time and speaking a foreign language that I didn’t understand so who knows what he was telling his staff. At checkout noticed a baby crib being setup behind counter.

    This is close to the Frost center but not within walking distance. Our first room the toilet would not flush because the flapper was broken and unrepairable. we had to move to another room that the entry door stuck and had to be jimmied with to get it to open. Not super fun.

    This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. We got are first room and the door had been kicked and the door would not lock they switched are room and that door was also kicked in at one point. The room was dirty with dry blood in the safe and on the hair drier. The bathroom doors looked they were also kicked at one point and would not latch. The staff lack customer service skills refused to amends for anything saying it was not thier problem. For a veteran and someone who works in customer servise was the worst hotel experience in my life.

    Area was okay definitely suited our stay for convenience. Swimming pool was fun, great people but pool towels would be nice. Rooms definitely need an update in regards to AC . Overall area was not noisy but would have been nice to have ice for our drinks and not over pay for a soda can. Took hours to cool our room down.

    Bathroom door didn’t lock. Main door security lock was missing. Ice machine didn’t work. Ran out of eggs and coffee. They weren’t refilled while we were at breakfast. The table was sticky both mornings, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned. Lights in the main room didn’t work. Only the bathroom area. The bed was comfortable, and the room seemed clean. The shower was hot, and decent, if one isn’t too tall.

    Above the shower part of the ceiling paint was hanging off, the rooms are very worn and need to be renovated bad, the room was very musty. Made an uncomfortable stay. Upon check out I asked if I could grab a yogurt for the road and was told no because it was after 9am. It was 11.. other hotels i've stayed at wouldn't have mind for grabbing a snack to go. Isn't that we pay the dam hotel for if? Anyway. Won't ever stay here again.

    I need to stop staying at Quality Inn's. The only benefit was the location as it was very convenient to Frost Bank Center. Otherwise I would've not stayed, cancelled my reservation on the spot and found somewhere else to stay.

    It was an ok place to stay, super affordable and great convenient location. I was really disappointed in the breakfast, pancake machine wasn’t working, very little food available and apparently they do not replenish anything that runs out during the breakfast time. It’s more upsetting because they use that as an advertisement point.

    It was not so good. I found two bugs, and they refused to fill up the hot food breakfast even when there was an hour left before close time. Workers there have an attitude and don't care about any of your complaints. They refused to refund it.

    Room stinks. They unplugged the AC cable and had to connect the cable to start the AC on a super sunny day during check in. Breakfast time is 6:30-9:30 but most of the items are over around 8:30 AM. Property is very old as feels like you are living in 1970s. Bathroom shower nub doesn’t work. Main door locking nub doesn’t work either. Such poor experience.

    A/c was not on arrival. You had to turn on in 100 heat. Also, had to turn knob for toilet water pressure to flush. Other room had ceiling leak and same issue on a/c on arrival.

    Beware of a an exrtra $100 deposit fee upon arriving to check in. I wish this was mentioned before hand prior to booking through expedia. The room was not clean, the room's door took forever to accept the room key. The door itself looked warped and damaged. Some the light switches did not work. It basically was a motel stay. I will never book there again.

    Walked into the lobby it was like walking into the 1970s. Manager tried 5-6 times to activate my key in a machine that he clearly knew had issues. Went around to back to get in and there was a stray cat waiting outside our door, and some shady characters hanging around the parking lot. Key didn’t work, went back around, manager “fixed” it. Still didn’t work. Third time he came around to open door with his key. We had a concert at Frost Bank Center and I immediately knew it would be unsafe being stuck outside this room. When we got it room was hot and had a bad smell. Yellow stains on bathroom ceiling. Pillows on bed (2) were square (the tiny ones). When I said I couldn’t justify keeping my son here for two nights he huffed and refused to cancel the reservation, said I had to do it through Expedia. This place is not safe, not walkable and dirty. After we switched hotels, local Uber drivers all said the hotel was a known drug/prostitution den. SHOCKED Quality Inn would allow its name on this, and that Expedia listed it.
