What was expected was satisfying: housekeeping, and maid service. Disappointed there was no hot water at the sink. The swimming pool was not kept up and the ground were in need of service.

The building is in need of repairs and a paint job.

The posting for this hotel is extremely deceiving. The room was filthy, had unacceptable "fixes" done to previous damage, missing smoke alarms, exposed wiring, dirty walls, dirty floors, the list goes on and on. Do not waste your time booking this hotel.

I liked that I brought my own blanket and was able to roll up in it to avoid touching bedding. I was able to sleep and that was all I wanted and the Mexican restaurant next door was quite to my liking stains that may not have been stains but fresh soil

Ac worked well and parking was easy. Room was ok. Could be kept up a little better.

Black mold in the bathroom, ceiling tiles buldging and falling apart. The front desk agent at night was passed out when I went for assistance due to noise at 1am and two people sleeping in their car outside of my room. Left a day early due and was told I would be refunded(video evidence) The hair dryer cord was pieced together, wasn't going to risk trying it. I recommend going anywhere else.

That said, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the location can’t be beat—less than 100 yards from the Air Force Base gate. It’s fine for a solo traveler on a budget, but I definitely wouldn’t bring family here.

Cleaned room everyday Didn't cost an arm & leg Falsely Advertised: (these were in the top 3 reasons why I booked this hotel-there were others that didnt have these options and were just as inexpensive and close to base) 1. A filled usable pool was shown in ad, but pool was empty and looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. (Really would have liked to use since temps were triple digits) 2. Breakfast was supposed to be available but wasn't. Building was in need of major repair. The room needed some fix-ups and had an old musty-moldy smell.

The room is very spacious, bathroom with towels, soap, and shampoo. The staff are friendly, and wifi included. Convenient too, restaurants and HEB grocery store just around the corner. If you need to eat and buy some daily essentials too. All in all it was a wonderful stay for me. I saw 2 small roaches, and the smell upon entering the room bothers me, I just hope more sanitation and some air freshener.

The only good thing is very close to Air Force Base. This is a one time business type hotel. If you need to go to Air Force base for the event, please choose other places.

Well tris is the worst hotel experience is my life so disappointed first I feel discriminated because I couldn’t even stay at the hotel because we forgot my husbands wallet, we drove 5 hours and I wasn’t going to go back and get it, I had mine I don’t see why there was a problem for them to check us in when I had mine and I read the policy and it says that I just needed to have a id and a credit card plus the deposit which I had that, I didn’t get my money back and I feel that is not fair that even though I couldn’t stay there I didn’t get to get my money back, never staying in one of y’all’s hotels any more and I’m going to share this experience so they know y’all are

The staff was extremely courteous, but the place is ran down and its surrounding area is also ran down... But if you want a close place to lay your head down for your Childs graduation from the airforce this place is walking distance from the base...OTHERWISE, its a roach motel.

The room definitely needs a remodel (to be expected at the price), but is was clean and the beds are very comfortable. All the staff I interacted with was very friendly and attentive.

The motel is directly next to the Lackland AF gate. This place looks horrible. We book it online due to it closeness to the base. When you arrive won’t believe how run down this place is. Looks like the hotel on the tv show “FROM” save yourself time and money chose a better place to stay, listen to me now or believe me later 😟

This hotel was exactly what we needed it for. A place to sleep, shower and rest. This is not a luxury hotel where you want to sit and hang for hours, its the most basic place. They are doing renovations so some of the hotel things are rough. Doors sticking, shower heads not connected. I communicated with the front office and everything was fixed asap. We did book a king room, and they didnt have any so when we checked in got into a double, they moved us quickly to a queen/double but be aware you need to communicate if something is wrong. Also tjere was a weird 50$ cash deposit due at check in.....not a deal breaker but weird.

As for staff, they violated a rule regarding service animals as they demanded to see my dog’s certification. Additionally, the STILL charged me a $50 deposit for the dog and wanted cash. THEN upon check out, I was asked it I had smoked in the room before refunding my $50 and I do not smoke. It’s an older motel and extremely convenient if on has a son or daughter graduating basic training ceremonies or visiting military family members. It is also walking distance to HEB which has an excellent deli selection as well as anything else you may need. The room served it’s purpose; however, I won’t rebook.

The place is completely disgusting! The room smelt like urine as soon as we walked in. The shower didn’t work and AC wasn’t cool. As soon as we got there, we packed everything back up and booked at a different place. Best decision was not staying there.

This OYO is not modern nor kept up. The room was dirty, had broken furniture, and smelled moldy. We gave the employee back the card key, told them we would like to cancel, and found another hotel. Booked through Expedia. The hotel insists we stayed there and refuses to refund the money.

To be frank, the facilities cannot hide their age. The door didn't open unless I pushed it with a lot of force, and at first I thought the lock was broken and wouldn't open. The floor was corrugated and the electrical outlet was burnt and misshapen. I didn't have any complaints because the cost of accommodation was cheap, but my wife was a little disappointed. Personally, I like that there are many friendly cats in the neighborhood.

I was going to stay for 4 nights but I got bed bug bites the first two nights so I moved to a different hotel. Roaches were crawling in the bed and restroom. When I talked to the management about it, He denied having them, until I showed him the video of them crawling on the bed.

The facility was dirty, smelled like smoke and had cracks in walls and big gaps on doors. The worst part was waking up to no water, unable to take a shower, brush teeth or pee.

Location is great. Comfort of beds were good. Only downfall was the roaches. A lot of small roaches in the restroom area. None by the beds/living area.

Stayed there because it’s pet friendly then they charge extra so paid it get in the room and place isn’t good at all I kept killing roaches I am praying I didn’t bring them home or on my dogs. Place was 3 world living so bad toilet shakes when you sit on it. Rats scratched on the walls the ceiling could fall threw. Holes in the corners for bugs that place is so so bad and I want a refund horrible deplorable conditions god I pray for this place to shut down people should not have too stay in this nasty place. So sad paid like 180 for 2 nights then 60 extras for my dogs and it was broken inside infestation of roaches so bad! So gross

You get what you ask for, especially for the price. Though it’s still isn’t a reason for the condition in which the rooms are for others. Towels were stained, doors looked like they were on its last lifeline, stained tubs, and the amount of roaches that come out during the night is atrocious. The hot water was being repaired in the wing I where my room was. The bathroom ceiling was caving in. There was a leak in the north wall from the roof and I was on the first floor. Not enough electrical plugs.

We did not stay at this hotel even though we had a reservation. It looks nothing like as pictured. The outside is dirty and dilapidated, it looks like it is being used as a transient location, I needed a basic travelers hotel.

The property is conveniently located close to the Japanese Tea Garden and The river Walk. close to Restaurants as well as Grocery stores. No Breakfast was available as advertised. No coffee or maker in the rooms. The rooms were clean but could use some maintenance for the walls were cracked and peeling, The bathroom door wouldn't close properly..

2. My substitute room had a ceiling vent hanging from the ceiling, wiring exposed. 3. The Roof leaked badly 4. Parking lot had potholes and abandoned vehicles in it. 5. My toilet backed up I had to fix it myself. No staff available. 6. My door was not very secure and had a large space between it and the floor. I used the deadbolt and chain to feel safe. The best thing about this property is it's proximity to the base. I was able to spend the maximum amount of time with my Son. I'd traveled from PA to TX and was too tired to even care about the room I was offered. I just wanted shelter and rest. Considering that this hotel is closest and most convenient for Servicemen and their families, I am truly shocked at the conditions there. I'm hoping the owner will make whatever improvements are necessary. It looks to have been very nice at one time. I'm not one who would leave a review. I just never patronize again. But I feel as though, I couldn't let this one go. Our Servicemen deserve better and so does anyone else spending their hard earned money.

Condition is fair for the price, easy access to the Air AirForce base.

All the other reviews are spot on . A barber works out a room here. A few cars broke down behind the building. Dirty parking lot with holes. Pool was fine but hot tub was off and dirty . Room stunk of mold because you could see it on the ceiling tiles. Didn't see any roaches till last day of my two night stay . It was small one in the sink. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. I'd skip this place next time.

They need to change the sheets bed, they were dutty. Put a little more effort to make it a good experience to be there.

The place had cockroaches. Water leaked in through the ceiling when it was raining. No running water in the sink.

They had hardwood flooring and the toilet seat was literally not connected to toilet.

It’s a bed and a shower. It’s TX - so there are bugs. The air vent is hanging and the window doesn’t close all the way. We just making a quick stop on a road trip. So for a few hours of sleep, it will be ok.

My room was dirty and smell bad i saw 3 bugs in bathroom 2 on the floor and 2 on my bed, the building too old. The parking lot too small people who parking next to me scratched my new Luxus 460 😂😂

Lights didn’t work in the first room so they moved us to another. There were roaches, the remote didn’t work, difficult to find where the lights work, the beds left you stiff in the morning.

It was a bit run down but it served its purpose

Cockroaches all over the room, you get what you pay!! Worst hotel ever!! Staff knows but they ignored the problem!!

Cheked out in few hrs . Room was smelly, roaches in bathroom dirty room , no phone wire , outlets were not working.
