Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Fiesta

My go to place to stay when visiting Fiesta Texas. After a long day at the park, this place is just a quick 5min drive. Rooms are always clean. Great place to stay.

Once I got there we had to wait 30 min for the front desk lady to even show up to check us in, Ac was almost not even working in the room and small little critters where on the floor and there was left over hair from the previous stay in the shower I also got house keeping when I specifically didn’t request it but the worst part is i came back from lunch to see my room door wide open by staff with no one in there and I had $1500 dollar drone and firearms in the room which they left open and unattended for who knows how long I went to the front desk lady and I told her about what happened and she said there’s nothing I can do about it

The air con was incredibly noisy making it impossible to sleep with it on but turning it off meant the room was very hot instead, there are a lot of roadworks in the area which Google maps struggles to navigate around.

Price was ok. Getting woke up early. Did not want to be disturbed. I booked online and site said a refrigerator and microwave was available. No refrigerator and microwave was in main building.

It was a quick last minute stay, but overall the room was clean but the walls were dirty the door was stained. The restroom door didn't close and the walls to it were dirty, the hand towels left by the sink looked dirty and yellow and I just preferred not to shower there. Luckily we took our own blankets and pillows and receptionist was very kind and sweet.

Overall, this isn't a bad option considering the price (much lower than anything else on this night that I could see). It is largely what I expected for a very much budget hotel. Everything worked and the pool was pretty good (clean and open etc...) But it's very, very basic... Basic and pretty old/worn out and not fixed. The additional lock on the door appeared to have had been kicked in recently and wasn't fixed. The small TV worked but all channels were scrambled/didn't match the guide (20 channels or so in total) and was housed in a half-rigged plywood box with cobwebs all over it. Beds were ok considering price but bumpy, thin mattress and pillows and not didn't feel fresh by any means although appeared to be clean (no obvious stains, just low-qual fabric and didn't smell nice). Overall, the room had a bad smell, although I got used to it soon and it didn't bother me. Couldn't figure out if it was mold or marijuana or a mix of but it was fine. I don't think breakfast is offered, which is fine as I'd rather not feel compelled to eat the awful but complimentary breakfast. Walls very thin. Guy in room next door coughing sounded like he was in same room as me. I have never stayed in a Motel6 before, although I think I've stayed in pretty much every other budget hotel/motel, so I don't know how this compares to other Motel 6's. Compared to other budget places it's on the low end... Anyway, lots of things that could be made better, but I came away feeling OK for price.

No frills hotel, really close to Fiesta Texas. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, only issues were the water in the shower was warm at best and the ac would not go lower than 68. Other than that no complaints.

If you’re going to Six Flags, this is for you, but otherwise, it’s inconvenient for shops, restaurants (other than tourist chains) Management. Horrible people who overcharge if you book through booking & pay at hotel. Noise - they had what sounded like a dryer running upstairs which makes a horrible, constant sound

The area is stained and dirty. The room does not cool enough, and the shower barely has any water pressure for a shower.

This Motel 6 adds a charge to your room if your week expires, and you've renewed through booking.com. They expect ou to move out of the room, and then move back in, and use this excuse to charge you excess fee. Pretty silly, since repeat customer means you don't have to clean room every day. I paid through Booking.com to avoid this charge, then realized instead of leaving a tip, I would count the excess charge as tip. But they came to room at 10:15am and threw me out. The maintenance is weird. Front door bolt lock does not go into hole & door security is not screwed to jamb. Water pressure is excessive -- turning on lav sink water spews over. Shower does not have a stop point. It goes around and around. Microwave turntable plate does not fit, so turntable does not turn.

The lack of microwave, mini fridge and barely operational shower.

The room was incredibly small. Literally could run into yourself! The bathroom was pretty bad. The floor was filthy and had silver fish bugs near the shower drain. There was no fridge or microwave and the desk provided was very small and uncomfortable. In addition, there wasn’t a place to hang your clothes. I struggled to keep my clothes that were on hangers clean and pressed. I imagine this is close to what a jail cell would feel like. Not planning to return to this one again.

The only good thing about this hotel is that is pet-friendly.

we loved that it was near all the stores and six flags that was great. the lodgeings were a bit Getto ,the rooms are small I could barely move in them, and there was no hot water at all. We had to shower with cold water.....?

Super friendly staff, they took our request for bottom room's to accommodate my elders tagging along. They helped right away and called before our check in. They put us by the pool and room's next to each other. Overall experience was awesome. Would definitely stay again. Great value, pet friendly, outdoor pool, near 6 flags, Great friendly staff couldn't of asked for much more really. Loved having walk in showers maybe just some bars to hold on would be nice but its doable. A fridge and microwave in all rooms not just in some would help it.

I stayed at this property because it was very close to Six Flags Fiesta. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations before and this is by far the worst of them. The room was in desperate need of repairs. First of all, the room smelled of mold/musty. The ice machine was broken (no ice). No shampoo was provided. The fridge and microwave were dirty. The towels and sheets were stained. I understand it was cheap but for just $10-20 more per night there are much better hotels in the immediate area.

The first room had a leaky toilet and only one towel. I went to complain about the room, and all they could do was offer to move the family to another room, and charged an additional $7.00, and said more towels would be available in 4 hours. The second room, the shower would not drain, and we found out after the second shower. The next morning, we went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I had advised them about the shower not draining, and they said they would have that fixed by the time we returned from our trip to Six Flags. We returned to our room after 7 hours, tired and ready to shower and prepare for bed. When we went to take a shower, it was not draining again. They said they could fix our shower and offered another for an additional charge! HORRIBLE SERVICE, AND MAINTENANCE, WE WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THE VENUE.

The paint was peeling off the walls due to black mold and I mean it was everywhere . The bathroom shower was leaking everywhere and FLOODED half the hotel room . But I guess besides the mold it was a great stay . Oh and the nightstands were ripped out . plug sockets were open . Just don’t stay here

This was the worst place I've ever stayed in my whole life!! There was no phone, no amenities, the ac was not working, there was a metal bar holding both queen size beds together in the middle so there was no end table, the boards of the the room were falling off literally, and you could see the mold on the wall, the bathroom floor was coming off the floor. The only nice thing about that room was the toilet and shower. You could tell they were just installed.

I had made a mistake and booked room as I usually do at fiesta trails but found out I booked Wrong motel 6 I had put fiesta only and not fiesta trails. Called motel to explain my mistake and they said they could not cancel and refund. With the help off Anna the clerk at fiesta trails got to get a room there. So had to pay again. That’s the only inconvenience I had for the first time .

Good price and clean. Staff was very friendly and was helpful on extending my stay another day. Setup of the room was nice for the price. Mostly quiet minus some road noise but it is off a major freeway. Only other minor issue I had was turning the bed light off also turns the electrical outlet by the bed off too. But there were other outlets I could use. Id stay here again.

There was a giant cockroach, alive, walking around in our room, the shower never got hot, neither at night, nor the next morning, and one of the housekeeping ladies just walked in and was badgering me to leave even though it was 40 minutes before checkout time!

I’ve stayed before and is nice for the price and easy to get around. This time around room was a bit messy looking. Location was perfect pool was nice but the room needed allot of attention. Messy, paint missing, restroom door wouldn’t close and bath curtain was ripped. Defiantly need some renovation.

Close to La Cantera shops. I was able to do an early check in for a fee of $30. The room assigned was did not have fridge and microwave I called to tell the receptionist and he said it was due to early check in. Internet was not working he said it was due to rain.

Was not informed of the deposit. They would not accept my only means of payment. No mention of the deposit when I paid for and booked the room. Was then refused check in even if I found the means to pay the deposit.

Did not like the shower, it was like were you would hose off a dog and the water temperature was very disappointing. And the openness of the shower made me feel colder.

Book a room that did not have a refrigerator. They upgraded me to the room with the refrigerator at no charge. The room is very clean with no bugs. I left a cash deposit and forgot it. They called me shortly after I checked out to come back and get it Very happy and will stay here again.

Didn't like the $100 deposit. NEVER has Motel 6 asked for a deposit. I did get it back, sonce ny dog is super well behaved and potty trained. But, thats why I chose Motel 6 for no deposits on pet. No cofee offered in the morning. Wow. Thank God my price here at Hotels com was amazing, cuz I would have been mad for the almost $80 rate at the hotel!

My hotel booking was just simply to sleep and enjoy the following day. I have no negative comments to say. My a/c worked t.v worked and the hot water took a little time to kick in,but other then that its okay to sleep in.

We only stayed one night so the price was ok, however the shower water pressure was pretty bad.

The tv only had cable tv shows from forever ago. Went with the intention to vibe out and listen to music using the usb cord and connect it to my MacBook. Couldn’t do that. Got there and both beds had ashes on the mattresses. I understand it’s a smoking room but cleanliness is still important. There was also a $50 deposit I was unaware of. Expedia should probably advise of that prior to booking.

This palace is so run down. There where no bedside tables. There was a wooden board on top of a mattress. No phones no nothing just horrible experience never again

This is pur secind year coming here for the San Antonio Highland Games. There is just something about this location. I feel so "at home" here. We went to Disney a few months ago. I would never have expected I'd be more comfortable here than that. I really appreciated getring stayover service.

Great area to rest, amazing location near The Rim. Nearby shopping makes it easy and convenient!

The room was dirty, ac vent was throwing black dust from filter which was all landing on the bed since it’s close to the vent. Most disappointing is we had NO HOT WATER to shower, had to shower with cold water. We will not be staying at this facility again.

I liked it was super close to six flags it is kinda hidden but thats what kinda made it convenient

It was a lot of noise understand there was a construction on freeway found 3 cockroach on the room to much light coming from the outside in to the room to many people walking around

Over priced for the quality and conditions of the rooms

The location made it great to do a family trip to six flags, very close to other locations and restaurants, the staff was incredibly friendly, we did get room service for more towels, parking was also convenient plenty of room, no damages to our rental, over all very convenient and so affordable, only thing missing was the mini fridge but I was completely aware of that before I booked. Everyone including other guest were really nice.

The Expedia agent was trying to charge me extra fees because (the hotel ran out of single bed rooms) I needed to cancel my reservation and get a two bed room. But, the hotel clerk worked real hard to make sure I didn’t have to cancel and all those outlandish fees were avoided. Very happy with the hotel. Very disappointed by EXPEDIA!

This was a nice quick stay the night for us to be able to go to 6 Flags the next day.

The stay was good but could hear room upstairs making a lot of noise when trying to sleep. Guys in next room makiang alot of noise drinking outside.

Mold in the room.

The room smelled horrible like an old wet mop when I walked in. The bathroom was filthy and the toilet wouldn't flush. The towels were old and dingy. I could here the people in the rooms above, next to, and behind my room as if they were in the room with me, extremely noisy. The door would not close all the way and the locks would not catch. The bathroom door would not close. The sheets looked like they have not been changed in 20 years. They were stained, old and you could see right through them they were so worn out. Overall, the place was pathetic and I would rather have slept outside in a tent. That is the truth. A tent would be cleaner and more comfortable than that dump. Do NOT waist your money! There are plenty of motels in San Antonio that are better then that horrible place. Even a dog house would have been a better choice. Oh, and there is ongoing construction on every surrounding highway, so plan on sitting in traffic and being detoured for hours before arriving at this motel if you plan to stay there. I hope you don't stay there so you can enjoy yourself on your vacation or business trip.

Beds are good, price is awesome but it only sucks that it doesn’t have your own mini fridge, and microwave.

Good and fast customer service

The hotel was pet friendly. Supposed to be + the front desk complained about our dogs barking but that's what dogs do. On top of that there was cockroaches dirty and will never stay there ever again. I've never stayed in a hotel where the service is were unfriendly people were smoking marijuana and had enough guds to complain about our dogs barking. I was very unhappy

The only thing I didn’t like is the bed , its to comfortable that I didn’t want to wake up. Nice and quiet area, affordable stay for the area it’s located on.

If you’re reading this review you care about where you stay and if you care where you stay do NOT stay here! Roaches, bed bugs, boogers/poop on the wall to name a few… find a better place!

The people were difficult with having cash for a deposit instead of card and there is limited transportation the rooms are in need of paint and even spackle and a bit old with the furniture the price was 60 and should not have been more the 45

It was too dirty, the room was in bad shape

There were cockroaches in my room. I let the staff know and they told me it was normal. There was debris from past guest in the floor, like animal crackers and hair. The door had wide gaps probably letting in the bugs. It was pretty gross.

I like that the bed was clean🤗

It was fan freaking tastic!!!

The pictures is not how it is . Pretty run down . . But it was only $63

I was disturbed at 10am when check out time wasn't suppose to be until 11am.
