If you need a budget hotel close to river walk, your better off with red roof inn. This is the worst motel 6 i have ever stayed at.

she didn't even stay; I rented the room for my sister but the people at the motel didn't let her stay because she didn't have a credit card when I had already paid for the room what a rip off. every thing

Although I reserved a non smoking room the room reeked of smoke, the smoke alarm was removed from its place on the wall and sat next to the TV but did not function. The bathroom door was missing a knob, did not close and was marred with gouges, the white walls splattered with unknown filth, the ice maker and pool non functioning. Its advertised proximity to The Alamo was very inaccurate not within walking distance as advertised.

There is no handicap parking anywhere near the accessible room we were given. There was a ramp but had to park very far way.

Considering the price point, this motel 6 met all the expectations. The room and bed were clean enough and the AC was working well for my unit. Parking is available in front of units. I arrived there late in the evening and the host was available and greeted. Had a good stay.

The room was decent for what I paid in the area I stayed. Right down the street from the Riverwalk and market Square so it was convenient. There was construction while I was there which made navigating a little more difficult. Overall, the room was OK and clean. The bed is not so comfortable, but like I said for the price, it was nice.

Hotel was close to downtown attractions, dinning and bars. Easy to get a cab. McDonald’s across the street. There is homeless behind the property, but they don’t bother you. There is a fence that blocks off the property. Brought my car and it was safe. Price was cheap. Room was not a 5 star room but you get what you pay for. I would go back.

For the price it was well worth the cost, the main issue me and my friend had was that the doors are not completely sealed, and with us being right by the stairs it was really easy to hear people while we tried to sleep

The front desk person looked upset when he had to get off his phone and computer to check me in. I know his family probably owns the property but be a little more friendly to your customers.

I have been staying at the Motel 6, Market Square, for a good while. There customer service are very welcoming, very nice persons, their rooms are very clean, beds very comfortable.

The employees were helpful and kind. The room I had was just fine . It's a bit in a rough area but being in walking distance to river walk and the Market square was worth it if you can't afford the nice places. My boyfriend and I slept great , the bed wasn't uncomfortable. A small bathroom but we just stayed one night!

We live in San Antonio, but decided to stay closed to down town market square for fiesta and Motel 6 was convenient to stay the night and was close by the market square and liked that McDonald's as ext to the hotel.

Parking outside the room needed cleaning from litter. Room needed some attention as well. I told the receptionist about some of the problems in the roo, However, I am not sure she understood what I was talking about.

We stayed for one night so it wasn’t too terrible. No cap on the vent in the bathroom but thank god they had a spare hairdryer. We didn’t receive a military discount because we reserved online which was kinda crummy. The room was mainly clean, water pressure in the shower was just ok, however the water stayed hot which was nice. The bed was comfortable enough for one night. We basically got what was expected but will spring for something nicer next time. They do allow one car to park for free per room but otherwise they charge you. Just fyi.

I went back to reception and they did give me a non smoking room, on the second floor and directly above the hotel laundry room.we had to put up with a car alarm going off every 10-15 minutes, there was shouting and arguing coming from the many homeless on the street beside the hotel. There was also the constant blare of the horns on the Freight trains close by and to complete our misery, the hotel laundry washing machines were being used late into the night. We couldn’t even cover our ears with a pillow as they only give you one each. Fortunately, as I had booked far in advance, I only paid $80 for the room. Most of the other guests had to pay $300 + as the College basketball finals were taking place and the hotel took full advantage to price gouge. I would never stay here again, nor would I recommend it. For info, I stay around 30+ nights a year in hotels throughout the US, so I have good experience of good, fair and bad. This hotel falls in the latter.

The stay was horrible.the entire parking lot and surrounding streets were full of homeless people. The room was very dirty. Used towels in the bathroom. And our heater didn't work and it was in the 30s outside. The owners refused to give us a refund. Then refused to to give us a different room or just clean ours. Mind you this room cost almost $200 cause it was supposed to close to the river walk. Which it was not

This property is horrible. The rooms smell like cigarette, the bathroom and shower tubs are filthy black with mold, doors do not close properly. Parking is unsafe. This property should be a 2 star property. Definitely not at 6 star. I would strongly advise against staying here.

Check in was easy. Rooms are outside which is perfect. I prefer to be able to walk to my vehicle without going through lobby. Room was spacious. Walls were really dirty, but overall it was as clean as it to be expected. Mc Donalds right next door. Pool was closed but seemed clean and no trash debris in area.

It gets the job done if you need a bed, a shower, and a place to charge your phone or social battery. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for. I had no issues but I know a majority of you would complain about it lol

The room smelled humidity

The location of this motel is not in the best of areas. When we visited the pool, someone from I guess management or front office came and said not to allow my kids (7 yr olds) to get too much water out of the pool. I guess we need to dry off inside the pool. Glad it was just 1 night that we had to stay here.

No fridge

It was an ok stay. The first room we got the smoke alarm kept beeping so I told the front desk and they said ok changed rooms for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable too. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room just slept there. The only thing I was wary about was there were a lot of homeless people walking around.

Bad experience with a room on very bad condition. In fact the first room have a lot of humidity, and requested front desk guy a change. Then, the other room have no humidity, but the sink was clogged, and reported the situation, but no one showed in order to fix it. Even no one went to clean the room. Plus, found 2 cockroach near the beds.
