Terrible staff!! No one ever at front desk. Then when they show up some in terrible mood. Bathroom doesn’t have conditioners and you have to pay for it if you ask front desk. Beds and pillows terrible and very uncomfortable.

I chose to stay at this Laquinta's location again because it is conveniently close to where I had to do business. The staff are always courteous, helpful and available to assist me to help make my stay more pleasant. The room was clean the breakfast had delicious variety to chose from and the outside surroundings of the property was always clean and well maintained with beautiful flowers and plants. Time didn't permit me to use the pool which looked so inviting.. I plan to return there for my next visit. Thanks.

The room was clean, the bathroom was OK, a stopper didn’t work in the bathtub, a bummer for my wife, lol. Everything else was very accommodating, though, cold AC, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast experience was excellent! Plenty of hot food, and a variety of choices. A large dining area and very clean. Overall experience was great, and I would come back.

The room was clean. However, the lobby bathrooms were bad - toilet paper on the floor, none in several of the stalls, no seat covers. The mini fridge was too big for the compartment and was difficult to open and close. Could not log laptop to Wi-Fi, although I had no problem with my phone, only minor issues with my tablet. The printer in the business center was out of ink. Thankfully the desk clerk offered to print documents for me if I could email them to her

The bathroom smell,the towels need more bleach,the bed sheets look like the first one's from the very first day,breakfast was sorry,the carpets in the room,you could see the dirt in the edges,the bathroom floor was sticky. Only one trash can,no shampoo or conditioner. You need to ask for more towels for the next day. Pay more and get a better service.

I booked 2 rooms one for 2 nights and the second for 1 night. I was charged for parking for the single night but not the 2 night stay. The phone in my room did not work and I took it to the front desk and it was never replaced. Finally on my 2 night stay no housekeeping was provided. I was told by staff the room is only serviced if you stay for 3 nights. While the staff was polite and helpful this property is in serious need of remodeling.

Breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff were good. That's about it. Ice machines out of order. Television in both rooms malfunctioned and one replaced with smaller unit. Second television lost connection three times and required reset of Internet connection. Everything about the hotel seemed old and shower needs repair. I plan to avoid La Quinta in the future; I don't trust them. My friend said waffles were not good and her room had Spyders and hair in bathroom. Not good.

Great staff. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Mini fridge wasn’t working very well, but we weren’t overly inconvenienced by that. Good air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Overall, it’s one of my favorites in San Antonio.

Overall a great place to stay. They allow pets so sometimes our room smelled like animal urine when we would first come in. It wasn’t enough to bother us but someone allergic to pets might have a problem.

I was very disappointed in the fact of how early the pool closed the whole reason I stayed at that hotel instead of a nicer one were my son had stayed was because it has a hot tub but I never got to use it because it closed at 10 that's way too early especially when I had to pay an extra $10 to even park there which I don't understand at all I rented your room were I also have to pay to park and didn't get to enjoy the hot tub yeah I don't think I'll be staying again

We have been staying at this La Quinta for over 3 years now. We make quick trips to San Antonio during the week and on weekends. Until this trip, I have had nothing but great things to say about this place. I appreciate that I feel safe staying here with children, and it is near places to eat and Six Flags. For a mom on a budget, this USED to be my go-to place. This visit made me rethink where we will stay next time. There is now a $10 parking fee for each night you stay added by new management. The pillows have been downgraded to small, cotton bball-filled airline pillows that honestly have no business being on a bed. The beds here WERE the most comfy beds I have ever slept on, including my own. Cooling and cloud like, now they are like sleeping on a hill with deep valleys. Not sure what happened, but it went from cool, cloud-like beds to lumpy, bumpy, can't-get-comfy beds. I have 3 teen girls, 1 is diabetic, and their breakfast used to be amazing! Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, granola, a nice assortment of pastries, and of course, the Texas waffles. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was due to the breakfast, so we could start our day right before hitting Six Flags. Sadly, this has also been downgraded. Sunday breakfast consisted of runny, watery eggs, potatoes with a small amount of cut up sausage, orange slices, yogurt (in a bowl, with a spoon and plastic covering it), no toppings, toast, bagels and 3 muffins (extra small), juice that ran out and was not refilled utnil an hour after we left when we were checkign out and the texas waffles. If you are going to make a big deal about breakfast included, then you should at least make a breakfast, not put out the leftovers from the local grocery store. The pool was nice for kids, not big but big enough. The hot tub had 3 jets that worked, but it was hot. I asked for towels for the pool, we got 3, I need 4, and they ran out. The towels were not big enough to swaddle my 6-month-old, let alone to cover my teens behinds.

Check in tried getting in early, then long waits whether for check in/out or purchases made. Asked employee about getting salt, he just said "NO!" I asked even in kitchen area, my partner was having horrible sore throat was trying to make salt water to gargle, but would not help.

When we arrived. There was trash outside of the 2 trash cans by the entrance. I saw this the entire time we were coming and going. My daughter's room. The A/C wasn't working properly and the refrigerator in the room wasn't working as well. She also told me that they never came and cleaned her room. She had to ask for a trash bag.

I had a terrible experience, I arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready so they told me to wait. I sad with my daughter and then a long line started to form but I noticed that everyone was getting the room key, so I went to ask and they were upset because I cut the line and they gave me the key.. my room had a terrible noise from the air conditioner and the bathroom tub was full of mold.. I was very disappointed and sad.

When we checked in I thought the place would be okay, but walking through the ground floor, I started to notice everything was a little run down, a little on the dirty side. We got out of the elevator on the third floor to be met by the foul smell of dirt, stink and pine cleaner, very disgusting. Note the there were thunder/ lightning storms the first night but we couldn’t hear any of that though the walls ( keep that in mind) The worst part came the second night at 7:30pm loud music was coming through the walls, it was coming from the pool area, loud enough to be quite annoying despite NOT being able to hear the thunder the night before, this was louder, I went down to the lobby, finding only one employee, a guy with bushy curly hair who was playing on his phone and wasn’t happy I disturbed him to report the loud music, he said he would talk to the people making all the noise and went back to his phone. 30 minutes later, still loud music, went back down and he just told me nothing he could/would do they were guests, I pointy out that I and everyone else were also guests, he literally said, TOO BAD. Yes too bad, my money will be better spent elsewhere than a La Quinta property.

We have stayed at this property many times, we liked it because of the location. Upon check in staff did not inform us about not cleaning the room daily, or providing clean towels, had to take dirty towels to front desk in order to get clean ones. They should at least have someone to bring them to the room. Bathrooms need upgrade, probably won't be staying there anymore.

The hotel was clean ans the breakfast was great, over all the stay was good. I did find some problems the pool had a lot of leaves, the remote for the T.V. in our room was broken and we had a hard time making it work. Since the pool was dirty I wanted to take a bath, bit the thing to close the tub never worked and last but not least the fridge in the room had an ugly chorizo smell.

By day two, the room developed a strange smell, and several maintenance issues became impossible to ignore. The bathroom vent in Room 510 was extremely dirty with caked‑on dust, and the fan wasn’t working at all. Many of the metal finishes throughout the room were rusted, which added to the feeling that the space wasn’t being properly cared for. I was also charged $10 per day for parking, yet on the day I checked in, multiple cars in that same lot had been broken into and robbed. That did not make me feel secure about leaving my vehicle there. Because of local graduations and the short duration of my trip, relocating wasn’t an option. I also chose not to bring these concerns to the staff during my stay, as I felt doing so would leave me in a vulnerable position while I still had to sleep there for several more nights. Overall, the staff was kind, but the condition of the hotel did not match the price point or expectations.

Hotel is in a convenient location but my biggest issues was that the TV did not always work, the front desk would send a guy up to the room but you should not have to call each time your TV does not work. I am used to the room having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You only had a 0.7ml of shampoo wish I would have known so I would have brought my own. The carpet in the room felt so dirty, I tried to walk barefoot once, but not again and I left the hotel with bites on my body. Not a good experience

The guy that checked me in was not very talkative but I wouldn't say he was rude. He didn't have much to say except what he's been taught to say. The room was clean, bed clean, towels clean but a little rough. Downy in the wash would help that and make them smell better. Overall my one night was good. The only thing I didn't like was the $10 parking fee. I'm already paying to stay at the hotel, parking should be included.

Stayed during Fiesta. Big mistake. All floors & elevators were soaked in pool water because guests couldn’t be bothered to dry before leaving the pool area & staff were too indifferent to care. Toilet handle in restroom would stick. Restroom floor was disgustingly sticky. Beds were worn and not comfortable at all. Will definitely never stay at this property again.

Fresh paint bathroom, tub reglazing, wood mirror frame around sink (water) area the wood was rotten and area around bathroom handle was dirty. Thanks to my Lysol wipes, I cleaned that area. The other areas in the room were good.

I originally booked a two-night stay for $263; however, I was ultimately charged $362. When I returned to the front desk for clarification, I was told there was a $20 parking fee. This fee was not disclosed during booking, nor was it mentioned at check-in. In addition to the unexpected charges, the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon arrival, my child found a dirty sock on the floor, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. When I reported this to housekeeping, their response was dismissive and unprofessional. There were also multiple maintenance issues. The toilet did not flush properly, and the air conditioning unit was not functioning. After contacting the front desk, maintenance was sent, but I was told the issue could not be fixed at that time. Instead, I was provided with a fan, which did not resolve the problem. Due to time constraints, I was unable to relocate to another hotel. At checkout, I was informed that I would receive a reimbursement; however, I have not yet received any refund or follow-up communication. Given the undisclosed fees, poor room conditions, and lack of resolution during my stay, I am requesting a prompt reimbursement. Please provide an update on the status of this refund at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The room they initially gave us was not clean and had a smell of urine and mildew. The staff was able to move us to a different room but by night two that room had also begun to smell. Not sure if this had something to do with the rainy weather but regardless not the best stay. i really liked how cozy it felt and the breakfast was great! we requested a crib from the property- it was about the size of a crib but in playpen form (make sense for ease of transportation) picture added is the crib. the tvs had roku so you could sign into your own stuff without hassle. the employees were really nice and educated on the business. n/a

We didn't stay there. We got confused on the freeway during rain and ended up at a different LaQuinta in San Antonio where we spent the night. It was very nice and the staff was professional. The desk clerk did point out that we were at the wrong hotel but it was too late. We had already gone to the room and still would be charged for it. My bad!!

Staff was friendly, but did not do the things we requested. We used same towels for four days because we did other get them when we requested them twice over. Also, the rooms were exceedingly humid. It was terrible. When we complained about it the staff responded quickly, but the answer was to lower the thermostat to 64 degrees. We were frozen. Not happy with the room at all! Also two bedrooms, but only one chair and one desk. One bedroom had only the bed to sit on. Not good at all. See above. Also, had to pay $10.00 for parking on the hotel parking lot. That is baloney!

The hotel was overall decently clean, but you could tell it's been used. The breakfast was a big disappointment where the only hot items aside from waffles were wet eggs and overcooked pigs in a blanket. The AC unit in the room never turned off and was a bit loud.

Smell of weed was impossible to avoid from the parking lot all the way to the 8th floor. Wet towels were left at each door throughout the hall from each room. Had to wait for a while when I asked for clean towels. Woke up with a few bug bites on arms and legs each night. Check in staff had to be corrected as I booked 3 nights, they claimed it was only 1 until they checked again. They wanted to charge me $10 for free parking claiming its a fee to self park, when booking said free self-parking. I asked for a roll-away bed, they denied it and said I already had a king size and a double bed (4 people). There's a Country Inn and Suites next door I should have booked instead. Won't stay here again.

Management needs to train their front desk staff on basic courtesy. I was treated like a burden for asking why I needed to provide my card again for a pre-paid booking. Front desk was not friendly almost seemed like we were bothering her just by checking in. When we go in our room I notice 2 yellow stains on the white sheets at the foot of the bed. We call front desk to let them know and they move us to the end of the hallway right next to the stairs, which ended up being super noisy because of all the foot traffic. I saw a dead roach in the shower and the towel I grabbed had a black stain that wasn’t from me. Overall I was not comfortable and would not stay here again.

No hot water, had to take a cold shower. The mini fridge door was stuck because it didn’t fit in the cabinet so wasn’t able to use it. Booked a room with a “city view” since we were visiting from out of town and all you saw out of the window was the parking lot and trees. They also charge $11 for parking per car/per night. That was not stated when booking, never had to do that at other La Quinta hotels. Breakfast was okay but the pigs in a blanket they served were burnt and rock hard.

I booked for a room with two double beds but when we arrived, that type of rooms were overbooked. The front desk was kind enough to give us a suite with one king bed and one sofa bed however the sofa bed was probably the hardest I ever slept on. Thanks to the front desk, this issue was corrected on the second day. Mediocre continental breakfast was offered so we ate only once. Again, the price was good so we can spend more in the local restaurants. The pool (not heated), jacuzzi, and fitting rooms are well maintained and practical.

Honestly, the main thing that stood out was that even though we had a couple of issues when we first got there like the air conditioner made this horrendous noise so we couldn't even use it at first and the toilet seat was broken, they fixed it immediately. There was no waiting till the next day or anything. Everyone was very kind and gracious and made our stay a priority. The breakfast was awesome and the location of our hotel was great for what we needed. The one and only thing I can say that we were surprised and disappointed in because we didn't know about it ahead of time was that they charged $10 per night for parking. I asked the lady how else you could get to the hotel other than driving a car because you certainly couldn't walk and therefore the $10 should have been built into the cost of the room.

The breakfast has degraded in quality over the years. Those eggs could not taste any more industrial and the sausage texture and flavor is no longer recognizable. The underside of the seat cushion in my room was filthy. The bathroom trim was unfinished and looked quite shoddy. The bench seating area outside the front door had dried spilled soda all over the place and the walkway was filthy. I really like La Quinta Inn but there were some gaps on this stay.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. This one was the most disappointing. The welcome we received was less than cordial. They also started charging $10 a night for parking. There is no valet, but they are going to charge for parking. We reserved a room for 3 people and it only had 1 king size bed. No sofa bed. 2 uncomfortable chairs. We were given a $10 voucher for food from the store. It was over priced and when we turned in the vouchers the front office person didnt even ring us up to see how much of the money we used. She just took the vouchers. Breakfast was the exact same thing every day. No variety. This was disappointing. The best part of the stay was the woman running the breakfast. She was happy and pleasant and she was singing while she worked. Will most likely go somewhere else next time, mostly because of the parking charge and the friendliness of the staff.

The breakfast food was always replenished, and there was plenty of it. The staff was friendly and very professional. The room was comfortable. It had a microwave and minifridge. The only issue i had with the room was the hot water. It took so long to get warm. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Easy access to the highway. Close to the airport.

Dirty room , debris everywhere. Room was not vacuumed, no light ! The bedroom was dark no working lights and the sofa bed was broken and full of dog hair .

We went for an overnight due to a medical appointment on post. The room was very clean, comfy bed. Good water pressure. We didn’t stay long for breakfast but looking it over there was an okay variety of food. Very basic. I am disappointed that they only had earl gray tea, I’m a hot tea drinker. But otherwise it was a good stay.

Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. When we need a wheelchair she quickly took care of it. Rooms were clean and neat.

The room and staff were fine. After four days of checking out, I found that I had left a pair of boots behind. I called the hotel and spoke to Ester. She told me she would check and get back to me. About an hour later she called advising me that they had my boots. My son went to pick them up later that day. Thank you so much for holding on to one of my favorite pair of boots.

I was there for an overnighter. This is my go to hotel whenever I am in San Antonio. I love the rooms and the area. Good eats all around the area. But the best part is the breakfast lady. She sings every morning giving you a home vibe. She puts love in her breakfast layout. Now they started charging $10 to park but this is for security reasons which I am willing to pay for peace of mind. Overall a 5 star for me.

The hotel room itself was below average but considering the price, it has all the necessities which was a plus. If you’re looking for a cheap stay then this is a good choice.

Reservation for suite , 2 nights, king bed with separate sitting area ……. Definitely not suitable for sitting , we had to sit on floor or on unstable bed. Asked for another room but none available either night. Couch in sitting area was a hazard, cushions would and could not be sat on or you would fall through to empty frame underneath. Towels in bathroom smelled which all guest noticed. I have NEVER left a bad review for any hotel stay in all my years but this experience was an embarrassment for me, especially since it was not inexpensive. Definitely had poor MOTEL quality.

The hotel lobby had a very bad smell and so did the hotel room. The towels were soiled wet and dirty. The housekeeping didn’t come to hotel till 9 so you pick up towels which were again dirty by urself. No amenities and not even basic facilities.

Terrible. AC was broken in our room and did not allow us to switch rooms because they were sold out. Argued for a refund so we could stay at another hotel because we did not pay for and want to sleep in a hot, musty smelling room and was told no and to speak with management in the morning. Room was also not clean on further inspection - trash can from previous guest was still full and some white flakes were on the carpet. Also did not have a functioning room phone in order to contact main lobby. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is my third time staying at this la Quinta and we kept coming back due to having a great experience. I was not too happy that they started charging for parking. The only other complaint was that the room was not clean. There was a cockroach in the room. There was a bottled water under the bed that was not ours. Carpet was dirty, bathroom door was dirty. The AC was blowing a musty smell.

The hotel and the room were clean. There was a leaky toilet in our room but the problem I had was that my wife and I ran to Starbucks and left the door ajar with the horizontal lock, with my elderly mother in the room. While we were gone, a man with a clipboard came walking into the room without knocking and was shocked when he saw my mother in there. She was scared to death and he said he was checking because the door was left ajar. Why not reach in, turn the lock and shut the door instead of walking on in? I confronted the front desk and they went and got him and I confronted him and told him that was the actions of a thief and not if someone concerned with securing the room. From that point on, we took all valuables with us whenever we left the hotel. Will never stay there again knowing that they will walk right on in your room, even if you have the do not disturb placard on the outside of the doorknob. And I don’t anyone to stay there after this

This was my go to hotel since the many stays my husband had in the hospitals the past few years. Recently, however, it appears a change in clientele has made my solo stays a little uncomfortable. This property is also in need of a little update.

The in-room safe was broken. We asked for it to be fixed, and it never was. The phone in the room wasn't even hooked up! There were cigarette butts and beer caps littered all around the pool. The room was mostly clean unless you looked closer. The best part of the place was the breakfast.

This hotel was just ok. Rooms were of bare necessities to stay. Not a quality feel from the moment you walk in to entering the room. Stale smell everywhere. They also charge $10 for parking which you dont find out until you check-in. Parking is in a regular open parking lot. So don't expect anything for your $10. Oh, and the in room air conditioning was either hot or ice cold and the room felt humid.

It was a great say. We actually ended up staying an extra night because the beds were so comfortable. We got the family room which was a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom so it was very enjoyable for our family to be able to have that space between us if needed. The staff was very friendly. It was a bit overpriced but that's okay because we enjoyed it thoroughly. Please keep in mind that if you have pets they do charge $25 per night in this non-refundable

Everything was very nice, the hotel grounds are beautiful. The complimentary breakfast event had sausage and eggs. The only issue I had was locating the hotel, but that was my problem.

Our room seemed to have a malfunctioning ac unit or something...our room was super humid with the ac on 70, the carpet was dirty because it would show when taking a shower and the dirt would rinse off our feet. We booked a weekend stay, ended up leaving the saturday night...a 5 hour drive home seemed easier at 10pm than another night there

Daytime front desk was surly for me asking that the TV work in my room. It never got done in a 6 day stay. It’s clean, it’s got breakfast. It seems everything is done to stay cheaper on price. I guess I understand it, but a shower curtain in my bath would be nice.

Whoever stayed in the room prior to us factory reset the TV so it was not working, and when we called to the desk, there was no one available to get that fixed until the next day.

Our tv didn’t work the entire weekend. We called the front desk maintenance never showed up. The online pictures look different then the actual pictures but it wasent to bad other then the one issue. Had a weird smell from the AC like the filters were not clean in the room.

The room was good, but the bathroom was horrible. We stayed in Room # 821, and the bathroom was dirty. The shower head was so bad that there was almost no water coming out of it; it was really, really slow. I don't know what that three-star hotel is like. The staff was good, but they can not save the place just by their good service. Breakfast was also not very good, except for the five stations of waffle makers.

Had to change rooms because of a high pitch noice and maintenance couldnt figure where it was coming from. The new room had a toilet backed up in the midfke of night. To us a bathroom we had to go from 7th flour to lobby.
