Construction of the road made it hard to get to

It was a very nice clean room. Staff was very good. The only ice machine I could find was on the first floor and I was on three. I will ask for the top floor from now on because the noise from the room above me sounded like there were a lot of kids running around. Noisy.

The price was good, customer service was exceptional, breakfast was great. At our visit the pool was not clean, blankets in our room had some food stains and did not appear to be clean.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Spacious room! The air conditioning could not keep the room cool. And we were unable to adjust the AC below 68 degrees at night. The lighting in the bathroom was great and the roll in shower was perfect. Staff was professional and friendly.

Now a few negative comments. The shower was DANGEROUS - very, very slippery w no rubber mat offered to use to keep from falling! I put a bath towel on the floor of the shower and that made a HUGE difference. The water was hot and the water stream good. Breakfast was good. Many options to choose from. The coffee was very good! Another negative comment - this hotel uses styrofoam products, such as plates and cups instead of paper which can be recycled. My stay was a good one but note: there is massive construction on the freeway right next to the hotel making traffic more ridiculous than usual. Beware.

Yessss! We left the La Quinta at Topperwein because it was disgusting. Thank goodness the lovely people here took good care of us.

The room was very clean, but the bathroom door did not lock or close all the way. there was about a 1 inch gap where people could see you sitting in the toilet. the bathtub somehow leaked water on the floor. I'm not sure if the curtain was closed all the way or water somehow is draining onto the floor.

Check in was easy and the female at the front desk was very kind but once we’ve got into our room, the bathroom had mold all over the ceiling, the bed had reddish pink stains on the pillows, and the blankets and the walls had a lot of missing paint and marks. We informed the front desk about the mold on the ceiling and showed her a photo and she did apologize and upgraded the room to a better room, a suite, but that one was not much better. Cleanliness was not good and the iron for the ironing board did not work well and had burn marks on it which stained a shirt we tried to iron. The female at the front desk did get us a new one but it was still an inconvenience. Also , a semi truck in the parking lot blew up in the parking lot. It was an actual explosion at 0300 am.

The first room I was put into, though it smelled good and appeared mostly tidy, when the comforter was pulled back it displayed an unclean sheet, both stained and had hairs on it. The second room I was put in had an unfunctioning thermostat. The final room was fine.

The gym needs a fan but all others were great. Room didn’t have a remote but got one quickly. Pool was cute didn’t get in but we used the chairs to lay out and they were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Overall great stay!

The hotel was very clean, our room was clean and a/c worked great. It's not walking distance to any nearby stores but with a car you can go anywhere within 15-20 mins from the hotel.

Breakfast in the morning had great selection, and everything was neat and clean. The ladies asked us if we needed anything else, and made sure we were taken care of. The snack shop had a lot of great selection as well and was reasonably priced! Also, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was great (something we take for granted, but I travel a lot). Bathroom was very clean. Lobby was nice, and there was a nice bar down there. We enjoyed the stay so much that we considered extending an extra day. The only reason that we didn't is because we had business on the opposite side of town the next day.

This property is in the middle of an industrial park. According to the description it was near the Alamo and other attractions which is it not. And the front desk staff had their small children present as they were working the front desk which I found very odd.

It was great for a little family vacation. There was a Cockroach in the room when we got there. And they dont have dressers. Just a small closet. It was a nice stay. I was just worried about seeing another cockroach.

We were very pleased with how clean and well-kept it was. Loved the modern decor, and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The Texas-shaped pool was very cool. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet. We will definitely be staying here again for our next visit!

All in all it was a good stay. The room smelled a bit funky and the door to the restroom which was on a track almost fell on my kid as she was closing it. She’s 6 years and not very strong. It came off its track somehow. I was right behind looking in the fridge and held it up but it could’ve been a different outcome. Otherwise it was a decent place. Breakfast was great except for whatever that bacon was. It was very strange. I’d say the sausage is enough and 86 that weird bacon. The ladies putting out the food were great. Professional and really kept an eye on things in there.i like La Quinta. I’d stay again and recommend it. I’d take a look at that door though. It’s heavy and could could be dangerous.

The people were very kind, professional and accommodating. The lobby was clean and so was the elevator. However the room’s carpet had multiple stains and the desk chair had a mystery liquid stain dried on it.

We were in town for a week for a family emergency and this property was close to our family members. It is a beautiful and clean hotel. The lobby and bar area was decorated for the season. The vibe of the hotel was classy and is a gorgeous upgrade. The staff are professional, kind and friendly. The breakfast area is clean and has fresh food daily. The room was clean, quiet and accommodating. Leaving and returning each day felt like coming home, rather than a hotel stay. This hotel would be our preference on any return trips to San Antonio. Thank You all for a wonderful experience during a stressful time.

Upon check out and we stayed only 1 night, my credit card was charged $83.38. I contacted management and they had no explanation but didn't see the charge on their end. The manager procided me with a summary of charges to take to my bank. Manager mentioned it should fall off soon. Well, its 5 days later and the unauthorized charge is still there. Never have this happened at any other lodging. Beware..

Overall staff were nice and respectful during my stay there breakfast was good and room was spacious and always clean. Only thing was the pool was closed due to season which we could’ve the pool available but other than that everything was spot on.

This property I would not recommend to anyone to go stay. It is very unsanitary poop in the toilet, dirty pillowcases, and bedspread. That was the first room then the second room they tried to put me in the remote, fell behind the dresser and move the dresser and oh my God found drug paraphernalia, all type crumbs muffin paper wrapping it was just horrible. I got my money back and ran out of there.

Very upset that the pool was closed. I was not given any notice that it would be closed for maintenance when I booked this hotel. The pool was one of the important deciding factors for choosing this LaQuinta.

We have stayed 4 different ocassions. This will be the last time we stay. Towels dirty and smelly. Shower poor water pressure and smelly water as well. Wasn’t likenthis before. Quality has gone down. Also ac turned off twice at night and had to manually turn on again.

The sliding bathroom door was off the hinge and it fell on my father. If he was a child it could have been fatal. We were four in a room with no privacy at all because the door never worked after that. Refund of room is needed. Please respond

Lee at the front desk was amazing. He switched us to a room on the first floor when he saw that we had a dog with us. Originally we were on the 4th(top) floor.The room was very big, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend. We stayed one night for a family trip to the Natural Bridge Caverns and the Alamo and river walk the next day. Breakfast was fresh, lots of options and fresh fruit was nice to see.

Get to the room to find the beds stained disgusting! The bathroom had no privacy did not lock did not close it was a sliding door that did not run on its tracks so stayed open everytime our family member had to use the restroom I had to put a towel to seal the door for privacy no shampoo no conditioner in the bathrooms the containers were empty no trash can in the restroom

Hotel was decent. Breakfast and pool were average. The major downfall was the comforter which had blood stains. We went downstairs to swap it out and all they had was another comforter which was torn.
