    Not a thing. This place is nasty, furniture is dirty and torn, bathroom has wallpaper hanging off the wall. Staff was hateful and rude at checking in and out. Dogs were everywhere and they barked all night. Not a safe lay out for going to the room winding halls lots of unsafe corners. .

    Generous breakfast. Good AC. Beds were not hard. Had microwave and fridge. Nice soap/lotion/shampoo. Didn't smell like truck stop soap. Toilet too low for seniors. Fridge froze everything we put in it. Pool was full of insects and debris all 3 days. They said they were having it cleaned however it wasn't for our stay. Would be nice to have more TV stations to choose from. Trash wasn't emptied nor fresh towels/wash cloths brought during our 3 night stay. Window curtain didn't close all the way.

    Location cleanness, room was spacey Definitely the lady in front desk. (The one whom work the late shift) She was very rude,short beyond condensate. Not once but twice . I asked her for towels & I guess she hadn't had a good day, only cz I had already paid for the second day if not I would of left the premises, the other time was even worse! Same " Lady"! I loved the hotel & other staff etc..but will not stay in this particular one ,ever again!! It made me feel So uncomfortable having to walk right in front of her with that ugly attitude body wise amd even worse verbally

    Location is close to SAT with free airport shuttle. Good complementary breakfast. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. Room was a nice size, but smelled musty, floor was dirty and bathroom shower had heavy mold around the base and the hair dryer did not work.

    The hotel is in need of an update. The smell when I walked into the lobby is an old smell.the panel withthe buttons in the elevator was loose, someone had scratched names on the inside of the elevator door, the hallway was hot, the window in my room had lip/face marks all over it, my room smelled like mildew. I felt like I smelled like the room when I left the next day.

    Great location and staff. There were several knats in our room. Everytime we'd kill one there was another. Also the carpet throughout the lobby and halls, along with walls and baseboards were dirty. It was a weird smell in our room when we entered but we brought our own disinfectant and deodorizer. Toilet seat was scuff up and unstable. Beds were not as comfortable as we'd hoped for. It was disappointing but it was only for 1 night.

    The room had a work A/C unit The breakfast had limited amenities as well as the first room we book was dirty. Had dust on the desk, fridge and tv didn’t work. Then the new room received didn’t have working Eletric socket near the bed. Their chipping on the wall as well as stain on the walkway in the hallway. They didn’t provide enough towels for amount of people staying in the room.

    Nice clean room, great location at the airport, and they offer airport parking for a low fee. My only problem was the air conditioner fan was on continuously; I couldn't shut it off, and it was cold! I had to turn on the heat to get the room to warm up on a 90 degree day!!

    They advertise room service but it is a hoax. If you call they will charge you $5 just to connect you to Grubhub or similar, then they charge you more for the food than the menu advertises plus another extra if you want to pay with card over the phone. It seems like a fraudulent way to get extra cash from you, they should just say call grubhub, doordash or similar on your own. When I told front desk they nodded in understaning, they know this is not right, and they offered free drink and snack from their poorly stocked little shop.

    Stayed in two different t rooms. One was kinda grimy the other was not as bad. You can tell they have updated a few items in the rooms like candies and some flooring but it’s mismatched. I was expecting a higher quality hotel basted on the ratings. The rooms were load and doors didn’t gently close so noise from other rooms or hallways nose was heard clearly.

    There was no passage through the big iron gate except the car entrance. We wanted to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants, but we had to walk all the way to the street entrance, then all the way back to the back side of the property to get out.

    I liked that it was close to the airport and Walmart. At a glance it appears nice and clean. The beds are not as luxurious or as inviting as photographed but they aren’t entirely uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was decent. It was dirty and in need of repair. Carpet was peeling up, panels in the elevator loose and floor damaged. First room I was assigned felt sticky and tv didn’t work so I changed rooms; the second room smelled musty and there was a dead roach on the floor in the morning when I woke. And the shower is situated in such a way where you must step inside to turn it on, so enjoy a cold shot before it turns warm. Some staff was nice, others not overwhelmingly friendly or helpful.

    The sign at the front desk, "we do not provide daily house keeping" there was no hand soap in the room. The motel provides in room coffee. It was not replaced after the first day. We stayed for six days. We will choose another motel when in San Antonio next time.

    This is a very very nice place the staff was excellent, very knowledgeable about the airport. The shuttle to the airport was excellent. I was able to drop off my daughter, and then they came back and picked me up back to the Hotel made it very easy to get around to the airport. Breakfast was Excellent also very clean.

    I liked the location, that is it. Some staff members were rude, when we needed toiletries none were provided. The pictures are deceiving, the room locks are cracked, and it’s dirty. Our room door had a huge gap from the lock, the ac unit stops randomly even on the continue setting & there was a weird smell in the room and halls.

    Nothing really positive to report Front desk personnel was extremely rude, and definitely had no willingness to help with my situation. The interior of lobby smelled of marijuana. Our room was filthy, the floor carpet was sticky, someone spilled something and wasn’t cleaned. The bathroom toilet and towel holder both broken. Toilet paper was used (more than half gone) as new guest it should have been replaced. There was no extra and had to call downstairs for another roll. Shower had hairs in the tub from previous guests, gross!

    Beds were terrible, someone came in my room while I was in the bath room did not knock just walked in thinking no one was there. I complained to the manager & they said they knocked twice. They did not but then they just walked in anyway & it startled both of us because. They offered me a soda??? I told them no thanks but I asked if they found that weird that someone just walks in your room & they just looked at me & said sorry she knocked. Safe to say I will never go back there ever.

    The conditions of the hotel’s amenities are bad. The beds need improvement and may need to be replaced; they are very hard, and they feel like old mattresses. The air conditioning makes too much noise. The first room they gave me had a broken air conditioner, and it made a very loud noise. Then they moved us to a second room the air conditioning was better, but it didn’t cool properly, and the beds were uncomfortable. The room was clean and the breakfast was one of the best and very organized.

They ride back to airport was immediate. The staff and shuttle drivers were professional and polite. The area was not the greatest, however there were lots of places near by to eat at or to have food delivered. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that it seems a bit run down and older. The elevators need work, for sure! Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again.

    This La Quinta has been doing a remodel for over 2 1/2 years. The staff was super helpful. Have a sign on the front desk no daily room service and I was told because it’s a big hotel and they don’t have enough staff then in the elevator. One of the panels is held on by a bracket to mount a toilet paper roll and the stainless steel is all tagged always had trash in hallway have pictures of all that but truthfully the room was fine. It should be made clear that there is construction going on at this hotel on the website at Expedia. They need a new maintenance man or give him the money to do repairs correct brackets to hold toilet papers is not correct. If the room had looked like the lobby and hallway and elevator, I would’ve checked out but actually like I said the room was fine clean

    The hotel was currently under renovation and I do believe once renovation is completed, it will be great. However, the breakfast options could have had more variety to it..THE STAFF WAS AWESOME FROM START TO FINISH!!.Close to Walmart and several restaurants.     Room had minor issues. Bathroom vent fan didn't work. Hallways were dirty. Sign at counter stated they do not clean everyday. Air conditioning vents in eating area downstairs had black mold on them and around them on the ceiling. Pool and hot tub out of service. Single elevator door would stick closed on each floor. None of these issues were on websites.

    This level of filth is absolutely unacceptable and entirely unsanitary. I immediately informed the front desk and provided photographic evidence. While the staff acknowledged the issue, I was told they could not issue a refund because the reservation was made through a third party (Hotels.com). I was instructed to contact you directly and that you would reach out to the hotel for resolution. To be clear, I have never experienced such a horrifying situation in any hotel.     Convenient to the airport to catch a morning flight. The person who checked me in was alone and there were many people waiting, and on hold on the phone.     The kitchen area was not very clean. The television in the sitting room (was in a suite) did not work properly. They sent someone up and he told me he keeps telling management what the problem is but haven’t done anything. Furniture in sitting room was uncomfortable (was working on my computer).     Liked the room, bed, air conditioning (100 degrees out), & outside pool. The staff and breakfast were great (a good variety of hot & cold foods like eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc.). The hot tub bubbler did not work and the stool flush broke but was fixed. The accessible room was nice, but far from elevator on 8th floor! We would stay again.

    This was a quick and easy location to book. But I did not get any room service the 2 nights I stayed there . I called the front desk and asked for small face towels any they stated “ we don’t have room service and we are out of small towels”. So I left that be.. and just used a medium towel. But I left for an outing and came back and seen there was room service in the hallways and they had small towels. But my room never got serviced. And I had to change my own sheets . Nevertheless it’s was a nice hotel overall .

    Pros: * Room was clean, although smell of cleaning supplies was overwhelming when I first checked in. * Lobby was clean * Front desk staff was nice * Good breakfast selection Cons: * Elevator buttons didn’t work well, elevator floors torn up, and panel screwed down but loose * Hot tub worked for 3 minutes before shutting off * Hallway carpeting stained and worn * Lobby water wasn’t always working * Toilet seat in my room was broken (missing a “foot” if that makes sense) so it leaned to one side The La Quinta by Culebra/Lackland was much nicer and I wish I hadn’t tried to save a few bucks and just stayed there.

    The hotel staff was amazing. On our second day, we had no hot water. The staff immediately changed our room and provided an upgrade. The continental breakfast was nice, the decaf coffee could have been better, too weak. They have a shuttle service that will take you where you want to go within a 2-mile radius, which was greatly appreciated, since our car rental died on us the second day too! Although our 4 night stay didn’t go as planned, the hotel staff made it so much better, and they did everything they could, to make things better for us! Highly recommend, and will stay there again!

    After getting off a plane out 1:30 in the morning, I booked this hotel through Expedia since it was close to the airport and I needed to get sleep for my 2 1/2 hour drive home when I got to the property they said that my reservation was for the following night I explained that I Just had booked it in the airport. and that the date was obviously mistake because I am standing in front of them. They told me I had to get ahold of Expedia, which I did. Expedia tried for a couple days to get them to refund that night and they did not so I ended up paying for it for two nights and barely sleeping there for maybe five hours.

    The San Antonio La Quinta is about a mile from the airport. The first time I called requesting the shuttle, I was told driver was already en route to airport w/ a drop off and should be just a few minutes. Didn't arrive. I called a total of 3 times, wait time 45 min. Driver did not present a good first impression for hotel. Arrived at hotel; woman checking me in was defensive rather than apologetic re MIA shuttle. However the gentleman at other check-in area was helpful and professional. Lobby, halls and elevator were filthy. Room was clean. However I checked out first thing the next morning due to the filthy overall environment along with shuttle driver and front desk first contacts. The hotel does offer a complimentary breakfast, but who would want to eat in an environment that is so filthy? Woman who checked me out in the morning was very pleasant and professional.

    When I first got here the receptionist was absolutely terrible no sense of urgency and she was just trying to get off she had no customer service skills or commitment to her job. On top of that she gave me such a hard time over booking just because of a simple typo. On top of that the entire facility was under construction. They were bringing in new beds I don't know if they had a massive bed bug infestation. Also it seemed like in every corner of every hallway around every turn in the lobby in the elevator everywhere was absolutely disgusting and not maintained trash stains smells you name it it was there.

Then she said I had to come down to get one. When I got down stairs to fro t desk, she said I could have a blanket but no pillow. She said there’s 5 on the bed to use o e of them. Then she walked away. Mean while another employee brought me a blanket and a pillow.     Terrible, I won’t be staying here ever again. I normally don’t take the time to write reviews so this just tells you how terrible and nasty this place was. Carpet stunk so bad we got a 2 bed room the beds were full size not even queen size. Our room smell like mold room 109 by the way. The entrance to the place was disgusting and it smell like pee. The carpet all around was definitely not clean or haven’t been clean for a while now. Please think twice before booking.     We had already paid on line and the lady was trying to make us pay again when we checked in, when we got to the hotel it was trashy outside, the trash can was overflowing, then when we ask the lady at the desk if they had something for us to put our luggage on she said she didn’t know where they were, the room one of the lamps didn’t work at all and the other lamp shades were all bent, the trim around the walls was coming off the walls, I will NOT stay there again, if I hadn’t paid up front I wouldn’t of stayed there

    The property is old. Either stuff wasn't working or it was noisy like the ac, toilet and faucet. Not working were tv and clock. There was lots of noise in the hall and someone was smoking outside the hotel and we could smell it in our room. The pillows were sad. The worst part was the loud shouting at 4 am. Recruits and their drill sargent or whomever. The staff were great and very helpful.

    Our room reeked of mold and mildew and we found the AC unit to be the culprit, leaking into the carpet. It was not a mild smell that might only bother some, it was choking and the air was thick. We were provided another room and the furniture was stained and utterly disgusting. I do not normally complain, I am a frequent traveler and a pretty easy going guest. All properties have an issue here and there and generally most staff try their best. Additionally, it was severely overpriced (triple what it should have been) due to a local event, and we were never offered any consolidation from management. I will never return and recommend that you stay away if you like clean and friendly accommodations.

    We also rented a meeting room. Tables were really beat up and looked dirty. I was a little embarrased about that for my guests.
