We arrived at 2am. The front desk staff member was extremely welcoming and very helpful allowing us a late check out after arriving in the middle of the night. Very thankful.

There was no complementary coffee in the lobby. Property was rundown and a bit shabby. Only one elevator was working and it was slow.

Everything was top notch. Close to the airport and highway access to wherever you want to go.

The accommodations were comfortable, quiet, relaxing and clean. The hotel is older but remains in good condition snd cared for. Parking was easy, well lighted and gated for safety. Staff were friendly and helpful . Our first room had a strong, unpleasant odor and we were quickly relocated to another room without any issues. We would stay here again.

I like the hot breakfast in the morning it was good and the downstairs was very clean in the lobby and food area. The room had an odor like it wasn’t properly cleaned before we arrived.

Holiday Inn Express San Antonio airport area was great/fantastical. VERY VERY CLEAN. The property with pool was lovely. One issue, when I arrived back to Mi I (04-15-2026) I was surprised to see I had been charged an extra 50$??? I didn’t purchase what ‘Sabrina’ called “incidentals”. My husband did not stay with me so it can’t be an ‘extra person’ charge.My husband was not on the original reservation either. Susan Duby

The staff was AMAZING!!! The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and personable. I will come again just because of the staff alone. The kitchen staff came around during breakfast to make sure people didn't need anything and to get to know us better. The parking was well lit and extremely safe. Best parking experience I've had a hotel so far. I will definitely stay there every time I am in San Antonio! The first night my bedding smelt like smoke but they fixed it right away.

Oh my. The breakfast was AMAZING. The eggs were perfectly cooked. As was the bacon. Cinnamon rolls slapped. Seriously a really great stay. I just moved from Jacksonville, FL to Artesia, NM and this stay made me so happy. It was quiet. I slept really well. Bed comfy. I will be moving from NM to Maine this summer and already know I want to book all my hotels with Holiday Inn Express. Thank you for taking a load off my shoulders. Moving is really stressful. The woman who checked me in was super super nice and helpful. Once she knew I had my cat, she moved my room to the bottom floor so I could bring him inside easier. I will be telling everyone about my stay, you have a customer for life If I were to be really picky, I would ask for a loading area to park near the door.

What a great find! We needed a place close to the airport and this was about 5 minutes away! Super clean! Great, hot breakfast! Wonderful, friendly staff! Shuttle showed up quickly and got us to the airport right away.

The room was great! I traveled alone but felt safe. Clean and comfortable. I arrived after a stressful day of maneuvering airports and car rental issues. But I was met with kindness and smiles at the hotel. It was great! I’d stay here again.

Excellent staff, room clean, central air worked perfectly, entire facility was well managed. There was construction but even with it being on our floor, it was NOT aggressive at all. Close to many dinig options nearby, literally 19 minutes from base, and 6 min from the airport. EXCELLENT choice!

The staff was excellent. The room was okay but the hotel was undergoing renovations so it's understandable. Only one working elevator which was inconvenient but not terrible. Breakfast was ok, coffee was good. Dining room was very clean. The location is good for access to restaurants, shops and very close to airport. Not the greatest surrounding area though since you're right off the highway. Overall not a bad stay.

It’s being redone so some floors are empty. I just didn’t like that where the laundry area was, you’re all alone down there and I didn’t feel safe in that dynamic.

Very friendly people that were there to provide assistance 24/7. The rooms were very clean and the Breakfast was fantastic as well as the dining staff was super fantastic. I will definitely use this Hotel again. Love my stay

This hotel is an excellent choice to stay in San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. They welcomed us with free drinks, chips and salsa. Being so tired from driving, this was a nice surprise.

I was really nervous about traveling to Texas because all you ever hear are things like “Don’t mess with Texas”, but this was one of the friendliest hotel experiences of my life. I truly felt welcomed and valued!

It was a good stay, the only thing I wasn't too happy about was that there was no washer/dryer or gym. I don't believe that the renovation part was told to us when it was booked. Other than that, we had a good stay.

I was very pleasantly surprised that the lady hotel manager was greeting the people who were having breakfast in the dining area. She asked me if I had slept well, if there was anything I needed, and that made me feel really good. I will definitely stay at this hotel every time I sleep in San Antonio.

First the room smelled an old musty odor. Nothing unbearable i just sprayed frebreeze. Helped a little, by morning the smell was back. For some reason my room was an adjoining room in which the people next door kept going in an out letting the door slam which kept waking me up. I did not sleep well and woke up still tired. First time experiencing this at Holiday inn.

Hi we have a family of 6 everyone fit comfortably the staff cleaning ladies and the big boss lady were very nice and sweet people we enjoyed are stay. needing anything extra pillow towels ect. never had a problem getting definitely will be visiting again 😀 😊

The hotel met all of our needs. It is moderately-priced and included a nice breakfast and free coffee all day. The staff members were very courteous, attentive and helpful. Of the two elevators, only one was readily available and upon entering, a large sign was displayed stating that jumping up and down while in the elevator could cause serious harm. Obviously, that has been enough of a problem to necessitate a sign addressing the issue, but did not instill confidence upon entering! We rented a car and appreciated the parking availability, both covered and uncovered, as well as easy access to the parking area and the outside pool area from inside the hotel. We chose this hotel because of location: it is close to the airport, has easy access to I-410, and is located close to the family members we were visiting.

Apart from the rooms being clean, upkept, and in a superb state, we were able to save some money by eating the breakfast that was included in our stay! The breakfast was filling, and the staff there are very amicable which makes the vibe very welcoming. The garage access straight to each floor is convenient as you can just park and go directly to your room. This is definitely my go-to hotel when I’m in the San Antonio area!

Room was not clean and had a smell that would not go away. Very noisy right by the highway.

The sleep quality was also poor because we could hear doors slamming in the middle of the night. The AC also makes noise each time it starts, which negatively impacted my sleep. The pros were the fact that there was free parking and there was no deposit/hold on the credit card during the stay. Overall, it got the job done but it's very unlikely that I'll stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was clean from top to bottom, my family felt safe and secure. Will definitely be coming back.

The doors opening and closing from other rooms was so loud. At first I thought it was other guests opening, slamming doors shut, locks clicking, over and over in the morning. It was hard to get rest. Then realized it was housekeeping. It was loud and so repetitive. Most hotels keep the door open they are cleaning. Here they open and close each time they go back into the hall. Needless to say it was 2 rough mornings. The locks make so much noise and the paper thin walls made it worse.

This hotel is so nice. The rooms are large, well-appointed and clean. Conveniently located close to the airport with very handy shuttle service. The staff couldn’t be better. The young woman I dealt with went out of her way to help me solve my transportation issues. Very much appreciated her kindness.

Old place. The pictures are much better than reality. The worst part is that the airport shuttle van was branded as another hotel so I missed it and had to walk from the airport. The tub floor was really dirty. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay for what you'd expect at this kind of place. It would have been really helpful if they had said on the phone that the van would not only have the hotel name as a tiny sticker on the side of another hotel's van.
