Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the quick check-in process, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. However, there were several complaints about the lack of cleanliness, malfunctioning AC in common areas, and issues with the elevators.

AC did not cool room, room and hallway had a terrible smell and the pillows were as flat as folding a towel and using that

Hotel is nice but they don’t tell you that you have to pay to park there when you’re already paying to stay there. They tell you that after check in.
- 3/5
Downside is the Extra $10 per night for parking and the fact the you have to pay for breakfast that is nothing other than a Continental breakfast. It is cheaper and you get a better meal for breakfast if ya just go somewhere else for breakfast. Only 1 elevator worked. And Hotels.com fails to mention the $150 deposit you have to pay when you arrive. Even though ya get it back, it should however be mentioned as it is not.

Not much Torn wallpaper, dirty elevator floor, missing light fixtures, pool light fallen out and putting kids at risk. They had a janky arrangement where you had to pay a third party to park on the property, even though it was an open asphalt paved lot. I could go on and on.

The room was clean but the shower floor creaked when you were inside. It made you feel like you were going to fall through the floor. The shower door also bangs when it closes so beware. The staff were helpful and there was an ice machine on our floor which is not as common now-a-days. The breakfast was not great so I would recommend going out.

The property was clean, except for the seating area in the lobby had quite a few dirty chairs. But the biggest issue, albeit a minor one, is that there is a step lid garbage can near the coffee that is broken. So you have to touch it with your hands to open it, and it was overflowing every single day we were there. Empty the trash people! And replace that garbage can.

Everything was great but the continental breakfast. It was way overpriced for what was available. We went right after 7 when it opened Saturday morning and it was ice cold. The manager did apologize and say they were making more pancakes because they were rock hard but by then we were already done.$15.95 for cold eggs, potatoes, and sausage?! Super overpriced and then it was cold on top of that. Continental breakfast

Arrived and told all rooms sold out, despite our having a reservation which was eventually found. They make you pay an add on charge to park in their own parking lot, which is outrageous. Ice machine on our floor was broken, the one on next floor up was flashing that it needed cleaning soon. They both looked old and rusty. Most hotels these days offer a Complementary Breakfast, not here to though, they charge $12+ per person. We skipped that offer. Overall a bad suggestion for a place to stay from Expedia.

They also and reported it and changed rooms, but it's still not fixed. They charge for parking after you check in. Not durring, it's another totaly separate transaction. The tub also has black mold allnover the grout along rhe tub. We will not stay here again

we had no working tv in the room. When we asked the staff if they could get our tv going, they said there was "no maintnance" workers on the weekends. It was until we were checking out early that the receptionist suggested changing us to a new room with a working TV. We moved to another room and stayed the remainder of our trip. I will NOT be staying at this hotel anymore.

Not all staff was bad, only a handful, maybe like 3-4 of the female staff were rude. Gave my wife and I ugly looks for no apparent reason. The room itself wasn’t bad but it wasn’t stocked up like it should’ve been. You have to pay for parking which is ridiculous, the Courtyard by Marriott across the street offers FREE parking, and the rooms are WAY nicer and cleaner there. The staff is better there too. I will NOT reserve this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Spend your money wisely and stay at the Courtyard instead.

I woke up at 2 am to use the bathroom and discovered a water leak. The bathroom floor was wet and the room could potentially flood. I called the front desk and they did not have any maintenence staff, therefore, there was no solution. I asked the front desk for towels and that helped.

We got a suite to be able to have a seating area to watch TV. The TV only worked sometimes. They weren’t able to fully fix it, replace it. We asked to give us at least a refund for the amount extra it costs us to upgrade but it was not approved. Rooms need upkeep also. Customer service was pleasant and professional but couldn’t fix the issue. The toilet seat was also in bad condition

When we checked in there was no staff at the desk for nearly 10 minutes, only one elevator was functioning and was run down looking, the room itself was outdated, especially apparent in the bathroom, with low water pressure, degraded fixtures and a very dusty register, and we somehow managed to get a bee in our 6th floor room. The jacuzzi downstairs had to be turned on by maintenance, which took over half an hour, then another half hour to even get warm, and it was questionable whether it was cleaned/maintained considering the lack of attention in general. There were minimal pool towels available and they were they were barely big enough for my children. Also the exterior door was not key secured, so the safety aspect was questionable. The breakfast buffet was expensive for what it was, and the one night we went down and wanted to grab a drink at the bar it was closed down because someone had called out. The water and coffee station were mostly empty (either of liquids or of cups), and staff was often away from the desk. They were not unpleasant, but that was really the only positive of the stay. However I would never recommend anyone stay here, as we certainly never would again.

Right after I got there, the elevator went out. I had to walk down 6 flights of stairs to go get my things., back up with my things and then back down to go to dinner. It was working when I got back from dinner. The morning of checkout, there was no hot water. After calling, about 40-45 minutes later, we had hot water but by then, I was almost ready to check out. I mentioned this while checking out, and the clerk really did not have much to say about the inconvenience.

We were not happy because the site said Continental breakfast which we thought meant included as other hotels we stay at but was not the case here; it also said transportation to theme park included and that was not available and the pool was cloudy and an electric light was hanging loose in the pool on a 3-4 foot electric cord. Needless to say we did not let our two grandkids go into pool the days we were there. One last item was there was no mention we were required to pay parking which was not mentioned prior to booking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Property was well maintained and the room very nice. It's located in a kind-of hotel mecca with multiple other places across the street. In most circumstances, you could probably walk to the shopping center, but the entire time I was there it was 100 degrees with humidity, so Uber got a lot of use. For whatever reason, my room didn't get made service on the first day (maybe they just missed it), but I did on day 2. There's two restaurants in walking distance -- the 54th Street Grill is a nice bar/casual dining establishment, Bob's Steaks and Chops is very high end. I think the Porterhouse Steak was $139. It's hard to walk anywhere else because of the extensive highway system, but there's a lot of options in the shopping centers. Unlike other Hiltons where I've stayed, breakfast is NOT complimentary. In fact, the buffet is $14.95 for an adult.

Customer service was horrible. 2 employees talking about a guest (phone complaint) and after they were done saying " I don't care who is gonna refund your money" she asked me "did you book online?" Well I certainly didn't book while I was standing there! Also, hotel smelled horrible like dirty towels, guest elevators are also used as "service" elevators, bins of dirty laundry with guests...like WTH!!! No luggage racks available!! When I asked for 1 she said, guests keep them in their rooms to use. Are you freaking kidding me!!! I mean I could've stayed at Motel 6 this! I take my own toiletries, but my daughter likes to use the hotels and they were ALL empty😡 Maintenance man was very nice.

Good location with easy access to I10 and La Cantera shopping. Bed was comfortable and clean restroom. Room has an “older feel” to it. Definitely need a new hair dryer as it was sticky and messy on the outside of it, but it did work. No free breakfast but free coffee. Also, need to pay for parking but I think that’s with all hotels in the area.

Check in was not so good, arrived at 3pm and had to wait 3 hours to check in. Also hotels.com said i had to pay 971 for 4 days ended up paying that amount plus an xtra 400 dollars just incase of incidentials and for some other reason. On my 2nd or 3rd day there my new truck was broken into and some items stolen from truck, apparently this happens often in this hotel even with all theyre cameras and security they pay for. Its been over a week and i still havent received my deposit back for incidentals. They did give me an xtra night for free and free breakfast for what happenned.

This was a great location for visiting six flags. The rooms could use a bit of a cosmetic update. The walls were a bit banged up, but everything was clean. Paying for parking was lame, but at $10, not a huge deal. The person who checked us in was great! We loved being able to see the 4th of July fireworks at six flags from the parking lot!

Great place to stay if they didn't nickel and dime you. $10 to patk after the high rates. :(. No continental breakfast unless you pay $14+ thank God they offered free coffee ☕.

The only thing I did not like is that we had to pay a $10 parking fee which I was not aware of when I booked. In addition, the breakfast buffet was not worth the additional cost. I felt the variety and quality of the food could have been better given that it is an additional cost.

The room was small but nice, the pool, staff, and environment was great. There was a bad smell on our floor but they took our complaint seriously and had it fixed quickly. The staff texted to check on us and see how our stay was which was great. The breakfast is not worth the money. We asked for menus at the breakfast area a few times but they kept pushing us towards the buffet which was not worth the 15 per person. The pancakes were too hard to cut, the eggs and potatos were too salty, and it was basically a free breakfast at other hotels.

Parking costs an additional $10, which isn’t outrageous, but it’s an inconvenience, especially when it's not disclosed during the reservation, and since the fee can’t be charged to your room. Instead, you have to scan a QR code and register your vehicle with a third-party service. The room itself was fine, though the bed made a loud "alfo" sound with every movement, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The $15 breakfast was disappointing. The options were limited to scrambled eggs, sausage links, and overly fried potato cubes. Aside from that, there was toast and a few bagels. The juice selection was poor—what was labeled as orange juice was clearly some kind of powdered mix, and the apple juice tasted watered down. Had the kids not already committed to eating cereal, we would have skipped breakfast altogether.

What I did not like was the Expedia ad said breakfast was included. Got there and found out it was $12.95 because I did not go through the Hilton app.. The next problem was they charged $10.00 per day for security for my parked car. Would not be staying at this type of Hilton in the future.

I ended up not staying. I checked out that same day. I was only in there for half an hour. I felt very unsafe. The elevator was not working. Only one of them was functioning and it was very slow. The lady at the desk was not friendly at all to top it off the keys to the room or not working so they sent a man to my room that looked very scary.
- 1/5
Checked in and proceeded to room and only one elevator was working and there was a slight sewage smell. Proceeded into room and the bathroom shower had mold in the corners near the floor. Went downstairs and informed staff and they gave us another room with complimentary breakfast buffet passes. Changed rooms and tv wasn't working. It was late informed staff and they assured me it would be fixed the next day. Next day only 1 hotel elevator working . Checked out next day

Area is really nice, is clean but the hotel itself is average. The room was very basic quality and the beds were not comfortable. Your pretty much paying for the location being close to six flags.

Hotel is noisy and not very clean. We checked in and were given a room on the fourth floor. The people in the room next to us were extremely loud. Sounded like they were having a party. Went down to ask to be moved and at first was told there was nothing that could be done. The young man working at the reception desk said he could go up and tell them to settle down but he said that it was a Saturday night and it would probably continue all night. I told him that was unacceptable that we needed to be moved. He finally moved us to the fifth floor. When we walked out of the fourth floor room, you could smell weed and there was very loud music playing down the hall. After we moved up to the fifth floor, I went downstairs to turn in the room key for the fourth floor room and the guy at the reception said they were lighting candles and spraying deodorizer to mask the smell of weed. The room on the fifth floor was fine for a quick over night stay. Would not stay here again.

Well as always our stay was good staff is very helpful and nice the only things that we were unhappy about was had to pay to park which was new i would think the price of room should be enough.

Hotel bar service was terrible. Out of most beers. Ac would not cool room down never got below 74. Charged foot parking and it wasn’t even covered or reserved. Elevator was extremely slow and only one was going so wait time was extreme.

I purchased a room for my Mom who was moving. She had to take a cold shower because she could not get hot water in her room. Unacceptable!
- 5/5
Loved it. Even though we were close to two major freeways you could not hear anything. It was conveniently located to restaurants and shopping and felt very secure. We did have a minor inconvenience upon checking in but it was resolved quickly.

The staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommend this facility.

Our air conditioner did not work at all in our room and even though it was December, it was stuffy and uncomfortable. We knew the hotel had overbooked so there was no sense in asking for another room and we needed two rooms so I didn’t want to change hotels at 9:00 p.m. We asked for a fan and promptly got one but it didn’t help much other than to provide some noise.
- 1/5
They did not want to give me my room!! I get there they say my room was sold out!! Had to argue with the front desk to get my room!! Come all the way down there for the Alamo Bowl from Grand Prairie Texas get there at 10:00 at night oh no rooms available wait a minute you do have my confirmation yet we do but you still can't get it room.. if that's the last hotel I have to choose from I'll never stay there again

Diego, Johnathan, and Jeanette were really helpful on my trip.

Did not like that I chose this property bc it said 75 dlls a night which was perfect bc I was not going to be but 5 hrs asleep, ended up being 115 PLUS they charge you for Parking (10 dlls in case) AND with this fare, bfast was not includee. Hotel needs remodeling. Been to way better hotels in area that with everything all together price is either the same or cheaper in newer nicer, bfast and parking included.
- 4/5
Overall I thought the hotel was good enough for a nice weekend trip but I think they could do better to be more family-friendly moving forward. The nightly price for this hotel was not bad at all, but having to pay $10 a day for parking and $15 for breakfast was not worth us staying longer and I would suggest you keep your options open if you’re looking for free breakfast options and free self-parking

Unfortunately the front desk employees did not show up for work the night I checked in. There was a banquet employee who adopted by that was able to get me a key. The room smelled like vomit and there wasn't a cord on the phone allowing me to reach the front desk
- 4/5
Didn’t understand why we had to pay to park; wasn’t even a garage
- 5/5
Me my self is a little picky on mold on the shower or in the toilet or sink area and there was a little in the shower but other than that the stay was great
- 3/5
The overall stay was very pleasant, with very friendly front desk and bar staff. However, the facility itself is in poor condition. A standing lamp wasn’t working in one of the rooms I booked, and a coffee maker was broken in another. The bed sheets and covers were old and stained, and the hair dryers were sticky and dirty. The facilities really need to be updated.

Very nice hotel and great service. Right by all the shops and food, would definitely recommend!

We have stayed at this property on several occasions and have always had a positive experience.

We always stay here when we visit San Antonio. This time however, when we went to check-in, we were told the incidentals charge ( instead of a flat $50 for you entire stay), was $50 for each day you were staying. In addition to that, we told there was a $10 daily parking fee. The employee said they started that about seven months ago and it was on their website. That is not true, as we have stayed there less than seven months ago and that was not the case. In addition to that, I went to their website and the app and it shows free parking as one of the amenities. This was very disappointing and we won’t be staying at this hotel again anytime soon.

Everything was good but shouldn't have to pay for parking to just park in a regular parking lot. If it was a garage sure

Had a Friday and Saturday reservation. Called hotel that I would be arriving late. It’s all prepaid. Arrived Saturday and manager stated she had no reservations for my name and basically ran us off. Never offered a solution or a room. Walked across the street and got a room at the Marriot. In process of getting a partial refund.
