    All perfect, just experienced a strange noise that even after requesting a change of room, it kept coming on (but less noisier) did not let me sleep that well, sounded like water pressure thru walls or something alike. Location great, staff great, facilities great.

    Breakfast was average. Parking was expensive (69.32 for 2 nights)! Pillows were terrible (flat)! Beds were comfortable. Bathroom faucet was broken but still worked. Just hung off the sink a bit.......looked trashy but was functional.

    The room was not a good experience. The tv wouldn’t cut on. There was hair all over the shower and the soaps. There was only one wash cloth in the room. One of the beds had dirty stained sheets. I had to call the front desk multiple times. They took care of the problem every time.

    The pillows were almost as flat as pancakes. The dust from the room to the gym was terrible. The ceiling in the bathroom needs to be patched correctly from water damage. Everytime i hung a towel or face cloth in the bathroom the next day they had yellow stains, i couldn't figure that out.The mattress kept sliding away from the ugly box spring. The safe which we reported along with other things was unusable....we even couldn't use our room key to enter into the parking lot. We had to ask for toilet paper 3 times starting at approximately 8 a.m. we finally decided to pick it up at around 11 p.m. I uses to love love love the Hampton Inn, not anymore.

    Additionally, the pool area offers very little privacy. It feels as though you’re swimming right in the middle of the parking lot, which takes away from the overall experience. Other than these issues, our stay was pleasant, but I believe these areas could use improvement.

    The staff was very helpful when I had a last-minute change in my plans. The physical state of the room was sad. The faucet in the bathroom spun around while you were trying to use it. The ceiling over the window showed that it is in dire need of repair. While I wanted a king sized bed for my stay it was way too big for that particular room. I spent three days in the room and did not receive any housekeeping visits.

    The only disappointment was the hotel said downtown Riverwalk and it was not on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It was downtown about a five minute walk from the Riverwalk. It was still nice. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

    Nothing but the staff It was so moldy in the rooms were so bad that my son broke out in hives and ended up having to have a doctors appointment to be put on meds to get rid of the hives due to the mold I sent videos via email. It’ll only let me download the pictures on this.

    To be perfectly honest, we were put into a disability room. I don’t know if it was my fault or the hotels. Room was nice but the shower floor was terrible. Water flows on to the floor and moldy retaining fixtures. Thank the staff for a changed room.

    I couldn’t have picked a better location for my stay in San Antonio, TX. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the River Walk and nearby restaurants, and the area felt very safe. I was able to walk everywhere, and the hotel gym was nice as well. I will definitely stay here again when I have the opportunity to return to San Antonio. Thank you!

    The staff was helpful for the most part and facility was clean. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the information about my stay was upfront and honest. After making my reservation and paying for the room when I made the reservation I was told when I arrived that I would have to pay $32 a night for parking and I would have to put down $80 on my credit card to assure that any extra payments would be made. I was taken aback by this and felt that both of these extra payments should have been disclosed in the promotional materials. Also the facility did not at any time disclose to me that my room would not be serviced while I there. There no printed notices and the front desk did not inform me....when I returned to my room in the evening I found that the wet towels were where I left them folded on the floor, the beds were not made, and the room had not been cleaned. When I went down to the desk, they did provide me with clean towels, but I would not have made his reservation had I known that the room would not be serviced and the extra charges would be made. I feel that I was not given honest and upfront information on this reservation....certainly not a reservation I would repeat or recommend.

    The stay was such a great experience. The front desk gentleman made it so easy to check it. He was so nice and very informative, check in went smooth which makes it great After a long drive. The pillows were super soft. As soon as my head hit the pilllows, me and my kids were out. The room was clean. The room was nice and cold. Restroom was clean. Beds, floor and smell in the room all clean. We all slept in so we missed breakfast, but we still went down just incase. The smell in the lobby was delicious from everyone eating there breakfast. Check out was easy. The parking area is easy, there is a 30 parking fee but thats not a big deal. If youve been to san antonio you know that every sinlge parking lot charges you!!! So get used to paying for a parking fee. I will be staying there again. I cant wait.

    Very dirty , very loud not easy to sleep in the room, black mold in the bathroom ceiling. Guests party and have loud music at night if you are professional and here to work and use this as a place of rest dont come if you here for parties maybe it works . Breakfast is soo bad eggs is some artificial stuff taste like cardboard Over all will never book again health hazard specially with the black mold and the cleaning crew being so lazy and dont clean

    Wouldn’t stay here again there was lots of hair in the shower tub i had to pull it out because the water wouldn’t drain. Another thing is they charge for parking after having birds pooping al over your car not happy at all.

    The rooms were clean, with hot water and good water pressure. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The bed was a little firmer than I like, but didn't make my back hurt like some do. The pillows are pretty flat and squishy, but I actually like my pillows that way. The breakfast was really good and the staff were on top of keeping everything clean and filled. There are also washers and dryers on site, which is nice. There is come and go, gated parking, but you do have to watch out which spots you choose because the birds will cover your car in excrement. All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a really great stay and I would choose this hotel again in the future.

    Staff was nice, location was very convenient I was very disappointed when I was told that I had been given an upgraded room that I hadn't requested but then told that I wouldn't be charged for it which I thought was great until I get to the room to discover that it couldn't have been an upgrade because it was very small and nothing in it seemed to be upgraded (I wonder what it would have look like if that was considered the upgrade)

    I manage a hotel so I know I can be hyper critical when I travel but this is not that. Check in was frustrating. I booked 4 weeks prior to check in requested to be near our friends also noted we'd be traveling with a small dog. No one reads the reservation notes. The guy checking me in didn't seem to know where to even look. As I was checking in i asked to please be room assignment moved to at minimum the same floor as my friends. He told me the morning assigns rooms and there were none showing available on the friends floor. There was a huge pile of guests who had not checked in yet and asked if he could swap my room to one that had not arrived of the same room type which seemed to have completely confused him. I further explained what my staff do and how and he did get it swapped thankfully. The lack of training and knowledge among the staff was across the board. Not their fault. That's a leadership problem. Give these employees the tools needed to successfully do their jobs by training them and giving them some flexibility to provide better customer service with parameters of course. Guests do not want to hear I'm not allowed to youll have to talk to a manager tomorrow. On to the cleanliness. There was a crusty sock in front the ptac. A wrapper on the floor. Sunflower seeds on the floor and a clothing tag between the beds. The window had a face and hand prints all over one side. Walking in definitely had me concerned that the cleanliness is not of high standard. When requesting a late check out as a diamond level the lady at the front desk was rude and snappy saying she can't approve late check outs call the desk in the morning. This is a customer service industry you need to know how to talk to people respectfully.

    Everything was good!     The room that was assigned to me was infested with termites also had a very bad odor.I emailed about the situation and attached the picture of the termite to proof.when I checked out I asked if I can speak to the manager I was told he was in the meeting which he was not instead of coming out and apologizing he failed us twice. I will never stayed at this hotel. I will be posting on social media to let everyone know about this hotel and management.

    In terms of the room, the room was ok but the floor we stayed on smelled like garbage. Parking was not included and at $32 for one night was rather expensive. The breakfast included was supposed to be from 6 am to 11 am but by 10:30 there was nothing left. Lastly, the description says riverwalk but the riverwalk did not feel within walking distance so the description was deceptive.

    Room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I was excited that the laundry room was right outside our door pretty much because by the time we got there and the time we left, laundry needed to be done and we had no trouble accessing it. The breakfast each day was really delicious. Desk staff was very accommodating as well.

    There is no bar/lounge as was described in the amenities. The hotel directly across the street has a small bar area where you can get a drink if you want, it opens at 5pm. The hotel itself is an easy quick walk to the Alamo and riverwalk. Our room was pretty clean but the Kleenex box was on the counter in the bathroom and all the tissues were wet inside of it. The carpet was pretty dirty and there were a couple spots that your feet would literally stick to when walking around in the room. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked they were on top of it. Most of the front staff were very friendly and helpful. One evening staff member was a little rude but all in all it was a good stay.

    Check-in was quick and easy. Room was excellent size and the shower was wonderful, good pressure. I love that they have adjoining rooms for future visits with the kids. Breakfast was very good and I liked having a gate to park behind, although $30 a night is outrageous for parking, but that seems to be the going rate around there. We will definitely be back.

    When we checked in, there was only one staff member. We waited a long while, due to other people that had checked in earlier were having problems with their rooms or payments. People were mad because the manager was nowhere to talk to. They were told they had to wait for help until the manager returned. I felt bad for the girl behind the desk. We got checked in without any problems. The problem was the AC unit in our room. It was so noisy that we couldn't get any sleep. It never stopped turning off and on, even if we turned up the temperature, so it wouldn't. We were tired and didn't want to deal with changing rooms. The bed was so hard and the pillows were so mashed and bumpy, very uncomfortable. Will not stay here again.

    I experienced a safety issue in the first night of the stay. Someone tried to force open and banging the door at 4:15am, as it continued I had to call 911 at 4:27am. The person left when I called 911. The hotel staff was not serious about the situation and not helpful. They refunded, however I am not sure if they reviewed the CCtV footage or identified the person.

    The gal who checked us in made us feel like she was welcoming us to her home! We were texted after getting to our room to make sure everything was as expected. The room must have been recently remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Loved the bright lighting in the bathroom!

    Hampton Inn was great. The room that we stayed in was very clean except we could of used a little more towels. Breakfast was awesome! We liked the stay here because its close to the riverwalk and the Alamo. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. This is a great place to stay. We will look forward to next year again 🙂

    Staff was nice. Hotel has a weird smell (not good) its a decent hotel. I was recently at the hyatt and it was much cleaner, nice smell, a lot more updated. It was cheaper and parking was cheaper.

    The property was sufficient for our needs for this trip. However, there was no disclosures on deposits required, nor the cost of parking when we booked our stay online. The breakfast was pretty good, but due to the Holiday weekend, the hotel was booked and it got very crowded on the lobby and we weren't able to get breakfast, no seating, and lines for the elevator. No signs posted directing for stair access. Cleaning staff did do well changing out the room and replenished amenities.

    It would be helpful if guest services knew more about the downtown area and the most convenient ways to get there such as driving your own car or rideshare. It would also be helpful if guest services asked if you were driving and got your car information so you weren’t left an uh-oh sticker on your car that you could be towed.

    the staff was caring and competent. Although the hotel was downtown and the area was a little old and rundown , the hotel was recently renovated and very safe. Less than ten minute walk to riverwalk and the Alamo.the shops were right around the corner with plenty of shopping . secure parking for 32 dollars a night.

    Nothing unique, but was convenient to downtown areas. What i didn't like were the large group of guest (17+) that would go to the breakfadt area and eat, but not leave, or not eat at all and sit there occupying seats until 10am, while other guests had to stand and wait for seating. This same large group of people sat poolside in the evenings, but never went in the pool, while families with kids had to stand, or sit on the cement.

    The hotel is clean, but the rooms are pretty small. There is a musty smell in the hallways but the rooms don't have the smell or at least ours did not. The property is located perfectly for all the area attractions. However, as soon as I laid down to take a nap the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated from the hotel. Sat outside for 20 min or so and was never given an explanation if it was a drill or not.

    The room was ok but didn't like the fact that every time you took a shower, the water would spill out of the shower. The bathroom has no exhaust fan. The shampoo bottle was empty when we arrived, requested to refill the bottle. They gave us a new bottle but were not able to place it on the holder because you need a key to remove the empty bottle and place the new one. If they took a new bottle to our room, why they didn't place it on the holder?

    Upon arriving at the hotel, the reception assistant was rude and gave us bad information, saying that we only had one room, when there were actually two of us. A person from Hotels.com helped us and contacted the hotel to resolve the problem. We lost two hours checking in. It was terrible service and the treatment was not adequate. A very bad experience. They should reduce the rate paid for the bad time we had.

    When I booked this hotel through Expedia there was no information of paying for parking. After I booked and arrived and checked in I was told I would be charged $32 a night for parking. So when I tried to cancel my booking they try to charge me a full night to cancel. Expedia needs to do a better job putting all the info I will never stay at this place again

    This is my 2nd time staying here,love the location,everything is walking distance.Room was great.I only had one issue that was not addressed.The door would not lock from inside the room,I told the front desk about it my 1st day there,they said someone would take care of it while i was gone.I returned only to find it was not taken care of.When i checked out 3 days later it was never addressed.Maybe you need to put your maintenance people in check !

    Would def stay here again. Close to Riverwalk and Alamo (within four minute walk of Alamo, 10 mins to riverwalk) but this area was safe and quiet. We walked down a few blocks for the fiesta parade too. Parking was easy and behind a gate. Very clean hotel.
