    This place is suffering from poor management and economic issues. The soda machines were inoperable, depleted housekeeping staff, the continental breakfast was non existent, and their was stereotypical behavior ( dark skinned bigotry). I wouldn't recommend this place, eventhoughy room was clean. I wouldn't recommend this placem I give it a 3/10

    Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived on our room it was clean air worked just fine was equipped with all amenities stated online staff was courteous and kind we stayed til last minute the bed sucked u in and made u want to stay it was a wonderful experience usually we try to get away and pay an outrageous amount and nothing offered is available but this was a fabulous visit price was right and I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice room with wonderful staff and reasonable price will definitely stay again and we got a smoking room which never has an ashtray this one had 2 thank you econo I will be returning...,...

    The bed was so comfortable! I think that was my favorite part. I slept better than I do at home. The tv was nice and the room itself was pretty nice. There is a little mini fridge and that was a nice bonus. The bathroom was nice and I loved the vanity area! This is just me being extra but the lighting isn’t great in the room. I like to keep the blinds shut so again just me being extra.

    Room was ok, except the roach crawling on the wall when we opened the door. While the facility purports to have a free breakfast, when we got up the doors to the entrance were locked and there was nothing to be found. Staff was pleasant and helpful on arrival.

    Room was great and always felt safe. The only problem I had was that they did not come and make up the room one single time. I even called them and told them I was about to leave and they never came after me asking them to. I was there for three nights. I did get charged on an additional service fee of two dollars per night that was not expected.

    Room was nothing state of the art. I arrived at the hotel early after calling to say I would and they said it would be ok, and the room "wasn't ready" bu the time I came, had to wait about and 1.5 hrs to get into the room. Area is not great but it's not incredibly dangerous.

The front desk staff told us we could extend our stay if needed. The next day, I booked the second night through Expedia, which I normally use for travel. When I went to the front desk to confirm our second night for both rooms, the staff said we had to pay an additional $25 per room as an “early check-in fee,” even though we were already staying there and not checking in early. She insisted we had to check out, remove all our belongings, and return after 3 PM if we didn’t want to pay the fee. I contacted Expedia right away in front of her since the booking had just been made, but she refused to approve the cancellation and insisted on the extra charge. It felt like she only wanted additional money from guests. In the end, we paid the fee for one room because my dad wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. The second room also had a bad smell, but we didn’t complain because the staff seemed impatient and unhelpful. Overall, this experience was very uncomfortable, and I would not stay here again. I also don’t think this property should be listed on Expedia if they are charging extra fees like this and treating guests poorly.

    We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Easy check in and check out. Our room was spacious and nice. My only issue was the floors were dirty. My feet were filthy following a fresh shower. The area was nice and it had easy access to main roads and freeway. Other than dirty feet, I had a good and comfy stay.

    We would probably stay here again due to convenience and cheap price . We like to go out and only need to lay our heads down. There were no bugs and the shower worked well which is a plus. We will definitely not be getting a smoking room though.

    Bathtub was filthy with dirty water stains. The room had no AC unit and the space it belongs was left open so that the only thing between the inside of the room and the outside was a large but thin long vent near the door. You could see to the outside and hear everyone walking through the hall through the vent. Most surfaces were visibly covered in dust and dirt. I cleaned the sink area and the white towel came back brown. Ceiling lights were duct taped in place. It almost seemed like the room I was given was under construction and not ready for people.

    We chose this property based on the hot breakfast and pool… they canceled their breakfast and didn’t notify us so we could re-budget our trip. The pool pictures looked beautiful online just for us to get there and see that they filled it in with dirt.

    It was in the 40’s and their heater only blew out cold air and their hair dryer did not work. My poor soulmate was freezing and she had to sleep with her coat and clothes on. My body went into violent cramping last night because of exhaustion from the competition and the coldness of the room.     It was in the 40’s and their heater only blew out cold air and their hair dryer did not work. My poor soulmate was freezing and she had to sleep with her coat and clothes on. My body went into violent cramping last night because of exhaustion from the competition and the coldness of the room.     Room appeared clean. But its not. The pull out couch had a used bed sheet still on it. Then when we were leaving I pulled all the bed sheets off and the waterroof mattress covered hadnt been changed looks like months. Had tons of crumbs. Blood stains and yellow stains. Just nasty and cant believe we slept on that sheet. It was covered by another sheet so we didnt see it until I pulled all the sheets off. You get what you pay for. Cheap room, cheap place. Their "Continental breakfast" was stale fruit loops. Pakcaged muffins and honey buns, one waffle maker. Just sucked. I should of known better though for the cheaper price. This was only half of my experience. Ugh.

    Cigarette Burn stains on the non-smoking room. Dirty and dusty room with a weird smell. I complained and was told i could check out in the morning and they would refund me the 2 days.     I liked that I left! The door to my room had been kicked in at some point and no longer fit in the frame. The bath room door had also been kicked in and the tub had been damaged and was fix with some white plastic substance that when I tried to take a bath it would come off. The staff at the front desk were very rude. They told me they had checked me in for an extra day and they tried to throw me out saying I didn’t pay for the day. It was an awful experience, I do NOT give this run down dump and rating above -0 !!

    This is a great place to stay if you are visiting a member of the military. It is right outside the base, about 30 seconds from the gate & visitor's center. The staff at Econolodge is friendly and professional.

    The bed was comfortable. The room was clean but not worth the price we paid. Wanted to charge us extra for check in before check in time so we had to come back later. The fridge had defrosted all over one side of the room. We had to request a clean up and bath towels so we could shower. Had to wait for management to come verify the wet floor and missing bath towels.Check out was not customer friendly. Door was locked so I had to use outside window. I had to buzz for service. It seems that I woke up the young man attending me. I don't think we will be back.

    Called to confirm reservation and all was good. So decided to pick up some food to eat and relaxe in room. Upon arriving to check in there was no one in front. When door opened it made loud sound so figured someone would be out shortly. Nope. Call out. Called business phone rang once inside then back to main menu. 20 minutes later the guy comes out. I told him how long was waiting no apology just looked at me. Finally got in and food was cold. Never again decent price but not worth being treated like that.

    Our room had a lot of stains in the carpet. It smelled funky and the AC kept turning on and off. The whole hotel and room just felt off, didn’t like the vibes of it and felt unsafe. The only positive about this hotel is the location to the AT&T center and downtown San Antonino. Wouldn’t stay here again.

    Didn't likevthat Travelocity overdrafted my bank account 5 days befor .y check in when they said my card would not be charged until I checked in to the hotel. I didn't like that the fact I am in a wheelchair was ignored and they booked my room upstairs, and then at check in they charged me $15 to switch it to a downstairs room..and then charged me an additional $2 because there was a safe in the room and regardless of if we used it or not. Also, he said all the handicapped rooms were already rented, but 10min after we got to our non-handicaped room, the maid told us that out of 4 handicapped rooms they have, only 1 was occupied. The rooms were nice, but the outside of the building looked like it had just been through a catagoy 3 hurricane.

    We took a trip for my nephew's birthday and had a very pleasant time. Although the beds said queen they we're full wich made them a bit uncomfortable but overall it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at and the staff we're extremely friendly. Definitely recommend and will be booking again.

    We found a great price for this hotel. Overall everything was clean and the beds were comfortable I had no problems. Monty the manager was awesome, very friendly and available to assist. You're right by downtown and there's easy access to places to eat. Loved the simplicity of this hotel!
