This place burned 2/22, 9 days after I booked it. I arrived onsite 3/31 for my sons basic training graduation to check in and discover the place burned and condemned. There was a man out front in a small suv that tells me when I arrive that I can cancel and get a refund, that is nice and all but a call leading up to that day or email would have been nice so I was not having to race around like a crazy guy looking for a hotel with availability. Just ridiculous business, had left a bad taste in my mouth with Econo Lodge, do not see myself staying with them again in the future.

We were relocated to a sister location and although it was a no smoking area the room was filled with the horrible smell of cigarettes and weed... Was also told it was a safe and clean area but that was obviously not true...

Convenient location. Right down street from Lackland AFb Ice machine was broke but staff was friendly and gave me ice from their personal room.

Everyone at the front desk was polite, courteous and attentive, with a friendly demeanor. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled. I was in town for the Airforce graduation ceremonies. This hotel is close to the Lackland base, with a convenience store on the corner, a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant next door, and only about a 10 mile drive to Downtown San Antonio Riverwalk, its the perfect choice for price and comfort. 10/10 would stay here again!

I stayed here for my husbands bmt graduation. The close location was a huge plus. The room was clean and staff was very helpful. The price was very fair and despite the downsides listed below if I had a reason to be staying by the base again I would consider staying at this property again. As others have mentioned, bed frame was hollow metal so accidentally hitting the side at all or sometimes moving at night would make loud sounds. I found it very odd that although tv was advertised it was not connected to internet and did not have any cable connection either in addition to there being a note that if tv was connected to hotel WiFi and it was ‘reported’ it would result in a $200 fee.

Check-in was very easy, staff was very nice and even gave us a sheet with information about visiting the AF base to make it easier. The rooms were clean, had a mini fridge and microwave in them. The A/C worked well and we had no trouble with parking.

The front desk receptionist was very nice and polite; the room and bathroom were both very clean. The hotel was in a quiet area. Overall it was a pleasant stay. It’s a very simple hotel but lacks no necessities.

The room was clean. Had normal amenities. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Close to Lackland Air Force Base. Restaurants close They gave us complete instructions on how to get on base for all the graduates activities. The best part of this hotel was location , location. It was great for our family.

I loved the location to Lackland AFB! They had a paper printed out telling you all about getting on BASE for both days of BMT graduation. We also loved our recommendation to try Claudia's restaurant right next door! Amazing food and service! I already miss Claudia! The neighborhood wasn't the best but most of the surrounding areas looked the same. The location to the base entrances made up for it. I would stay there again if I had another graduation.

I stayed there one night, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The blankets felt dirty, and the floor also felt quite dirty, as if it hadn’t been mopped in a long time.

Nothing we never even stayed there due to another member of our party arriving the day prior and warning us of the unacceptable conditions of this hotel. The staff is extremely hostile. After a member of our party stayed overnight and woke up full of bed bug bites and experienced very unrestful sleep due to pipes knocking in the wall he attempted to talk to the staff and management about the problems and was called a liar, and even after canceling the second room reservation and canceling the rest of his reservation, they kept all of our money. The corporate office is useless. We will never again stay at this chain. Due to my profession I am mandated to report public health issues. Since the hotel had no intent of helping and I did not want other people to go through what we did. I called the city. When the manager Ocean was contacted he told the agent that they would not refund any of the stay because I reported them. Simply disgraceful. Every bad review on line has a pattern of management responding by saying it’s not true. Really? Yeah the whole world is making it up. Don’t stay here. See pictures of bites below.

It’s not a 5 star place, but it was what we needed. The people working there were great. They allowed us an early check in, they were very friendly, housekeeping came by and made sure we had all we needed, they were great. We would stay here again.

My girl friend forgot her special necklace, after we had left the hotel about 2hrs. I called in the front desk, Told her about the necklace that had left on the TV. 's corner. The front desk employee told me that she gonna check with the janitor.

This property was perfectly located to Lackland for super easy access in and out of the graduation festivities. The hotel even included written instructions with tips that saved me plenty of time and effort of walking needlessly. The front desk employee was so kind, patient, and accommodating. He even gave me a few bandaids to save my feet for day 2. He was friendly. Everything was great.

The clerk was nice. Pool water was green. I picked up the phone in the room and a roach egg feel out. Small worm was crawling on the floor. Sink was backed up. The establishment was run down and the bedding was from the 80's. Never again!

Easy access to Lackland AFB; but had to deal with a drainage leak and quite a bit of water on the floor during the four day stay. They willingly gave us extra towels to mop up the water, but did nothing to solve the problem.

Location was great to the Lackland Air force Base. The big lighted mirror was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No closets to hang the clothes and no elevator to the second floor.

Went to San Antonio to see my Nephew graduate from Air Force Basic Training. The hotel room was very nice, and for the most part clean. We had plenty of supplies, and were able to get more when those supplies ran out without any issue. The staff were all very friendly, informative, and helpful. The only minor issue, was the floor. It appeared clean but wasn't as there was some kind of residue (Maybe from cleaning product itself?) My sisters feet were really dirty after just walking around barefoot for a couple of hours. However, overall we had a wonderful stay and recommend you bring flip flops, sandals, or something for your feet.

My first time staying was attending my son graduation at the Air Force Base and I had a second time visiting my son while he finish up his tech school. Stay twice because of the good customer service I received from the man at the front desk and also the lights outside for security reasons is a good plus.

The best part about this is it’s very close to the Air Force Base!!!! So we could get to it easily for my grandson graduation from boot camp. Our room was clean.

Location was perfect for graduation at Lackland AFB, less than 2 minutes to Luke Gate. Looks like the property was recently updated, all new paint inside and outside, updated rooms. This is the first hotel I've been in since covid that cleans the rooms daily during your stay. Staff was great, very friendly. If you are traveling to JBSA Lackland I would highly recommend this place.

Location was perfect for graduation at Lackland AFB, less than 2 minutes to Luke Gate. Looks like the property was recently updated, all new paint inside and outside, updated rooms. This is the first hotel I've been in since covid that cleans the rooms daily during your stay. Staff was great, very friendly. Great customer service! I made a reservation then decided to come a day earlier. So I reserved another date through a different company. I told the young lady what I did and she assured me that I would stay in the same room. Room was clean and efficient. Very close to Lackland. I would stay here again!

The property is close to lackland Air Firce Base. Literally right across the road. Made it very convenient when we went to a graduation there

Front desk associate was very polite, room was very clean.

The room was large and the two queens beds were very nice. Bathroom clean. No closets! Plenty of hangers in cubbies but no closet. TV turned on but could not get any channels to work. The motel had no vending machines for snacks or beverages. 24 hr coffee but no tea service available. Reception personnel not professional and had no concern for guests. No lampshade on standing lamp. No overhead lighting. One lamp over nightstand had a bulb that flickered like a disco ball. Cheaper for a reason

We were in the area for Air Force graduation. The motel was extremely convenient to Lackland AFB. Check in was very fast and the man that helped us was very kind and thorough. Gave us all the information we could have needed.

All of the staff were very nice and friendly from the cleaning staff to the front desk. The room was clean and the linens smelled like they just came out of the dryer.

We decided to stay here due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed. This place is very clean, well maintained, and staff very nice and helpful. Location is quiet and feels safe. There are not shops or dining places at a walking distance, but some good ones are not far either if you don't mind driving. I would definitely consider this motel for my next visit to San Antonio.

I booked Dec 10- 13, but I checkout on Thursday at 5:30AM because of my early flight after the Airforce Lackland graduation. Is there a refund for not staying the other night i booked? Please advise. I just stay there to sleep, but on Thursday at 5AM there was a cockroach running and i even picture it. Thank you.

I booked this place because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. Ocean in the office was nice and professional. The room was clean and ready on time. The parking lot was well lit.

We stayed 3 nights for our son’s graduation from BMT. Had everything we needed during our stay and any additional accommodations needed were provided without any issues. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with information about the area.

My wife and I have stayed that location in the past. They done some remodeling to the rooms . We enjoyed the stay once again.
