Worst parking ever!!!

The initial night was fine. The young lady a the desk was very nice and provided us with extra towels. The room was decent. But by the second night which was our last night my wife, daughter, and I am had random bites on us. That is disturbing to know and I've been paying very close attention at home now to make sure we didn't bring anything home with us. This does not make me happy at all. This was not our first time staying at this particular hotel but I'm thinking it might be our last day to say because it's a great location😑

It is probably time for a remodel. The hotel was old, dark, and musty smelling. It is a nice hotel, but it is definitely time to be updated. I do really like to stay at Drury Inns. The location on the River Walk was excellent and the staff was very friendly. It is one of the few hotels on the River Walk that you do not have to valet your car.

I was told by the front desk that arrangement for transportation to the airport was made but none was arranged. Again, when I called the front desk, no response.

Cons: Toilets did not flush well and the bathroom was tiny. Parking garage was difficult to drive and park in. Due to a sports event and tour guides with loud microphones, it was very noisy until at least 11 PM. The hotel has no control over this, but if this will bother you, you should check whether there will be sporting events during your stay.

The service at breakfast and dinner was very good. Available parking is very important. It has a good location and local access. The staff is very respectful and nice. The only downside to the hotel was its pool, which I felt was not clean.

We understand this is a pet friendly hotel but there should be a separate area for people with dogs and areas for people with out them. I think its fair for everyone that stays at Drury to be able to rest comfortably at night.

Room was very clean and housekeeping did a tremendous job. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast buffet in the morning is a bonus.

ice and the parking garage/ hotel acces. The only problem encountered was the shower that stays scalding hot all the time. Adjusting the water to appropriate temperature was very difficult, almost forcing guest to skip or take a very hot and uncomfortable shower.

The room was amazing, the pool fun, and the parking convenient. Well placed within downtown and the direct access to the riverwalk is great.

It’s a nice clean hotel and close to every thing. They have great breakfast and happy hour food that you can eat without having to spend more money on food.

Our stay was so enjoyable. The staff were great, it was clean, breakfast, snacks, dinner and free drinks. We will stay here again. We enjoyed the pool but the hot tub was small and not very hot. The rooftop area was very nice though.

My family and I had a great time! There was so much to do downtown I wished we had time to join the pool! But we will definitely come back!

This is the only place we'll stay on the Riverwalk. It's always clean with friendly service. We enjoy the breakfast and the happy hour free drinks with food options being we are always on the go while visiting.

This hotel is excellent, except for one thing. During our Christmas stay, the restaurant was closed. We assumed it was a temporary issue. However, when we returned for a weekend in May, the same problem persisted. If you rely on the restaurant as advertised, be prepared for disappointment, as it’s not always available.

We loved the happy hour drinks and food. Our suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. So convenient to the Riverwalk. Parking was easy and very accessible. I can't think of anything I disliked.

Inelaini graciously welcomed us after a long road trip day She is so beautiful inside and out !!She acclimated us to area and mapped out everything we wanted to do And Olga lead kitchen made sure everyone was well fed ,keep the food constantly refilled and arranged beautifully and asked everyone if they needed anything !! Also shoutout to sweet Justin at the front desk ! The amazing riverfront view and River walk completed a wonderful stay and visit !!!Thank you san Antonio Drury

We enjoyed our stay for the one night we were there. Everyone was very friendly. The 5:30P Reception was a nice surprise. The food was good. The only complaint I have is that the water took a long time to heat up, even then, it was'nt that hot.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Drury Inn & Suites on the Riverwalk! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. One of the best parts was the included breakfast and the evening “kickback”... such a great touch that really made our stay feel special and added so much value. Our room was clean, spacious, and the highlight was definitely the balcony. Sitting out there and enjoying the Riverwalk views was the perfect way to relax after a full day. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and everything was well-maintained. We truly enjoyed every moment and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a little extra hospitality! Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything from the amenities to the service exceeded our expectations.

Great place to stay for access to the River Walk and, our main reason for being there, the Majestic Theatre. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was very spacious. Comfortable bed. Only negatives in my view - parking spaces in adjacent garage were too small; door to room balcony had a large gap at the bottom that freaked my wife out (she worried about bugs coming in to the room, but we didn’t see any). Overall, a great experience.

Loved the location, the on site parking option, and the breakfast/dinner/drinks. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel is impressive. Also the staff in the dining area are very friendly and competent. Not a fan of the lack of charging ports on each night stand. Also, the vanities seem to be designed for extremely short people. The lighting in that area makes it very difficult to apply makeup or complete normal tasks. I accidentally dropped my pill box and was unable to see well enough to recover all of them.

The day was great. The hot tub was a little dirty, but overall it wasn’t so bad. I did leave my LBJ speaker in the room and when I called back, they said it wasn’t found..

On the 4th floor there was a water leak or something. Water was ran out into the parking garage as well. Our room had a wet spot on the floor in between the beds. The floors were kind of dirty with some areas that were blackish. Left out feet black on the bottom from walking around the room. Told the front deck about it they didn't seem to care.

Our stay at the Drury Inn exceeded our expectations. The staff were all kind and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast and evening buffets were fantastic. This location was within easy walking distance of many of San Antonio’s downtown and Riverwalk attractions. It was a great experience!

We loved the free dinner, drinks, snacks, and breakfast. The on-site parking was cheaper than parking lots. All of those amenities made this the cheapest trip we have ever taken! The staff was extremely kind and helpful as well.

Location is #1. Close to the Riverwalk and tons of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great! Happy hour 530-700 everyday was spectacular. Close to downtown hotspots.

Overall, while the property would benefit from a thorough carpet cleaning or, ideally, a replacement with LVT flooring, and the hallways require attention due to wear, our primary concern pertains to the coin-operated laundry facilities. The washing machine exhibits mold, rendering the $2 wash cycle ineffective and unsatisfactory.

Place is outstanding, staff are always attentive and super friendly. Breakfast and the evening food are always great. Location is perfect for all sites.

The only suggestion I’d make is that the hotel should install a one-way road sign for motorist exiting the parking garage. Our first attempt out was almost disastrous….😱

Very friendly staff, convenient location that is walking distance to great restaurants on the Riverwalk and nice hors d’oeuvres and happy hour. The only drawback to this hotel was that our taller truck would not fit in their parking garage and we had to park a couple blocks away in a city parking lot.

Great place to stay at when visiting the San Antonio, Texas area. If you have a car, it has a self-parking lot and provides breakfast and food in the afternoon. Friendly staff.

After we closed the curtains the first night, it was difficult opening them back up the next morning. We were afraid we would break the rods used to slide them back and forth. The rooms need to be deep cleaned. The window ledges had a coat of furry dust, the top of the refrigerator was filthy with dust and behind all of the furniture was tons of dust. For the money I would expect a clean room!

Room overlooking the riverwalk. Make sure to get a balcony room for this. Evening cocktail hour includes 3 free drink tickets and a very filling dinner each night you stay - very well worth the money and a great value for anyone traveling with kids.

The location is excellent, the suites spacious, the free breakfast pretty solid, the pool high quality, the staff friendly — it’s hard to imagine a better value near the Riverwalk. Keep in mind the parking is $25/night.

While the overall hotel was nice and in an amazing location, my room was swarming with ants. They even came onto our bed… We had to toss all of the food that we had delivered for our dinner and that was costly…

Pool closed at 10 which was very early for the price we paid for the 7 floor rooms.

Last year I had a room with a balcony for the same room classification. This year, no balcony and it was the darkest room ever. Staff is very friendly. Wish the biscuits were not drenched in butter but otherwise no complaints about breakfast. When booking, not clear parking was extra.

The Staff is Super. The breakfast and 5:30 pm Happy Hour was as good as any HILTON or MARRIOTT. Right on the RIVERWALK. This is the smaller DRURY on the RIVERWALK. Much better than the big DRURY PLAZA.

The room was fine. The room didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a while along with the hallways. They were short of staff in the dining room . The dirty dishes stacked up and were over flowing. I’ve never seen that at any other Drury. In the evening the drink bar had a very long line because the girl serving was inexperienced.

The room was very spacious. I didn’t realize I booked a room that size. Wish I was able to stay longer. The floor we were on was very quiet. For some reason there weren’t any families staying this particular night 🤗. One thing I would say about this place is they need to vacuum the hallways .

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I really loved that there was a self park garage where I could go in and out as needed since our primary reason for the trip was a livestock show at the rodeo which required driving to the Frost Bank center. But, we also wanted to explore downtown and the Riverwalk while in town and this hotel was in a great location for that! I also appreciated being able to enter from the garage onto my room floor! I will warn that lifted trucks probably can't use the parking garage due to the vehicle height restriction. Fortunately, I drive a sedan.

Room was reasonably well-cleaned, staff were friendly, location was excellent, breakfast and happy hour were fabulous. The only drawback is the insulation between adjoining rooms is non-existent, so you can hear the neighbors talking if their voices are above a whisper.

The room, which was actually almost like an apartment, was very clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time.

At 3 am the fire alarm light was going off. Front desk was trying to work on it and said they’d send a maintenance person. No one showed up and it went off again at 4 am. The ADA shower overflowed and response was extra towels.

Check in was easy, room was clean, not much for a view, the reception was much better than expected and really enjoyed our breakfast. Parking was tricky, hard to find the "backalley" entrance and cars were parked in the alley making it tricky to navigate and parking was very tight.

First time staying here and last. I went upstairs to wash clothes and the dryer and washer was full of pet hair. Then we had to tell them to change our sheets we stayed for five days so it was a must. Towels had hair on it too.

It was convenient for what we were there for. Parking was good and we were able to park on our floor so all we had to do was use our key card to get in.

Everything fun on the River Walk is super close. Perfect for a morning walk or just wandering around in the evening. We were here on Halloween weekend and wow — the whole street was packed, everyone in crazy good costumes. Such a fun vibe. Came here with our dog and our parents and honestly had a great time. Super chill, great location, good food. Would definitely come back and I’d easily recommend this place to anyone visiting San Antonio.

Bathroom got backed up and it took more than 1 hour to get maintenance to fix it after some phone calls , causing us to be late for an event. Also when I reserved the room said pay at location, yet it took my money 2 days after I reserved. At breakfast, was 10 am and I was serving myself a plate, the kitchen staff came and grab everything, I asked to just let me grab something to put on my plate and he answered me breakfast was only til 10!! It was exactly 10! I ended up putting some food on my plate but the comment was not necessary. I understand but he was not going to wait forever!

The breakfast was fresh and restocked routinely throughout the morning. The staff is unbelievably nice. The hotel smells like a home, not like a hotel. The balcony had a beautiful view and felt private although it is shared with a partition. During the happy hour, we met some nice strangers, Brian the bartender was patient and accommodating - oh and the hor d'oeuvres was delicious - pulled pork with fixings plus other bits and bobs like salad and soup. Alexis helped us get checked in and she had to have been the happiest, nicest, most welcoming front desk extraordinaire I've met in recent travels. She made me and my husband and our two dogs feel SO welcomed. Parking is $23 and worth every penny - the in/ out privileges was worth its weight in gold. This Hotel is beautiful and I am very happy with it.

It is rare that an older hotel is maintained to the degree that this Drury Inn and Suites is. Everything works and the hotel is clean and not being allowed to age at all. The garage is very tight height-wise, but our F-150 4X4 fit without damage. The hotel serves a full breakfast and a light dinner with 3 well drinks or drafts per person. When I return to the San Antonio Riverwalk, I'll try to stay at the Drury Inn and Suites again.

Overall the hotel is great! Nice size rooms, beautiful views of the Riverwalk, good food, and nice happy hour options. I ised the business center for a last minute meeting and connectivity was fast. The only challenge is parking. The spaces are not bult for SUVs or Trucks so just be aware of that when planning your trip.

Dinner and breakfast were awesome

Upon checkin, we were greeted with a front desk attendant who wouldn’t look us in the face and was extremely rude, to the effect of telling us that we shouldn’t use third parties to book our hotels that they were “bad”. I’ve used Expedia for the last 15 years and am a platinum member. The last thing I would expect is that a vip property would tell me I shouldn’t be using Expedia to book with them. He was extremely aggressive and rude as we were trying to give him our step sisters new last name ans she was the primary on the second room. Overall a negative check in experience and I wouldn’t return based on this.

The hotel is literally on the riverwalk! You do have to pay to park, it's like 25 a night but that's to be expected. We will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is amazing, they give you a free breakfast which is hot and abundant. You also get a free happy hour which includes 3 drinks and hot food. We ate breakfast and dinner at this hotel everyday. They always have amazing coffee in the lobby. The rooms are clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is super safe, you can walk outside to the river front and finds lots of things to do. I highly recommend this hotel, all staff I talked to were friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel.

We went for our 25th Anniversary and had a great time. We were updated to a suite with a balcony and river view and given a bottle of wine. So nice! They kickback was also great. I didn't try the food but it looked like a pretty decent spread did get my complimentary drink which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was pretty standard, obviously better than a continental at like say a 2 to 3 star hotel but on par with others of this grade. Parking at this hotel was way less expensive than other hotels. Parking was safe and location was convenient. We were at the perfect location on the Riverwalk close to the busy area but just far enough down that it wasn't crazy loud. Room was clean, heating and cooling worked great, the beds were comfortable. The carpets are a little dated but honestly most hotels room carpets have seen better days unless brand new. Location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see in that area. I use to work in the travel industry and a lot of places I have been have not met my expectations because of this I am sure my expectations probably aren't as high as they use to be but this trip definitely went beyond what I expected. Everything about this property is excellent except parking. It's advertised as self parking but it's not. There is a $ 24.00 charge on top of yout room rate for parking, but that's not advertised. Then there's a 6'6" clearance restriction. If your vehicle is taller than this you're on your own. Then if you do get in, parking spots are tight with very little room to maneuver.

Nice room with good natural light. Good location. Even the front doors require a room key to get in so we felt secure. Never having been here before, it was a little confusing how to check in when you’re driving here, but we figured it out pretty quickly—you turn in towards the garage at the side of the hotel and park in the aisle there to go check in before you go into the garage.

We loved this place! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, very helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our balcony looked down onto the Riverwalk. It was easily accessible to the Riverwalk. They had a good hot breakfast with many options available. In the evening they have a reception with hot foods and 3 drinks per guest available- beer, wine or mixed drinks. The parking fees are very reasonable. We were all more than pleased with the hotel and will definitely use them for future visits.

The dinner and drinks that came with the room was great! The breakfast was great and I liked it was spread out so no one area was crowded. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only thing was not good was the oarking garage you pay $23 to park in at the hotel. It is very tight parking spots where even with a car you can barely get in to your car parked to another car. Two cars can not pass each other when making a turn to the next level.

5:30-7:00 happy hour serves a meal with 3 adult beverages per adult.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt very welcomed. The complimentary breakfast was nice, the rooms were very clean and and everyone that works there was very accommodating. I was there for an event at the alamodome and it was walking distance from my hotel which was an absolutely fantastic convenience because we could not get an Uber to carry us home from our event. The walk was about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place. I'm looking forward to staying there again in the future.

We have stayed here several times and each time everything is good. The breakfast today was very good, hearty and seletive. Rooms were clean quiet and very cool. Staff very courteous especially at eating area, the ladies were very helpful. I only had one issue which I thought I had taken care of by being on a higher floor, but obviously it wasn’t high enough. Just make sure you stay on the other side not the side of the river walk when you book your room Friday and Saturday nights very loud music coming from the river walk side from about nine to 1:00 AM roughly. Other than that five stars, all around staff was friendly, pleasant and very helpful. Greeted us every time they saw us.

Jane in the dining area was the most excellent representative of your property!!!! She wouldn't even take a monetary tip which I offered for her wonderful service. My daughter had told me this Drury was where we needed to be and she was right. My only wish is that the parking spaces were wider in the garage....but that can't change.

The location was perfect - convenient to everything we did. We took advantage of the Riverwalk/Downtown location to walk to various attractions & tours, restaurants, shops and boat rides. Property, including the lobby, was clean with an old time charm. Our room was clean, beds were very comfortable and the balcony had a great view. We used both the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Food was delicious and lots of variety. The evening hot snacks turned into our meal during our stay and we didn’t have to worry about what to do for breakfast. The well maintained pool on the roof was an added bonus. I have stayed at countless places and this is definitely on the top of the list of best stays ever. Excellent experience with no complaints. Bonus is the breakfast (6-9 am weekdays) and the 5:30 to 7 Happy Hour. This includes 3 drinks per day per guest. Concierge Alexis got us a River view room when we asked. The king suite was only $12 more and was well worth it. Short walk to the Alamo, Briscoe Western Art Museum, and the Majestic and Aztec theaters. Well worth the money. Tip Alexis if she can accommodate you.

It would have been nice to have a room with a balcony, but the rate was not reasonable. Each night would be a different rate with Thursday was reasonable at $100+, Friday would be $200+ and Saturday would be $300+ just no, not to lay our heads to rest at night. I'd be willing to pay the $100+, but nothing above that. It's a space with a balcony, it's not that we're trying to be cheap, but just to sleep at night NO. We would have loved to sit on the balcony, still not for that price. The hotel is nice and we will be back. I had already booked our stay on Expedia, but had asked about getting the room with the balcony and was told the rates. It's okay, we had a great time.

They have a large area for breakfast/ happy hour and kind and attentive staff. Annoyed they only allowed one parking space, would be nice for days that’s are less booked to have the option to pay for additional parking.

Very pleased with my stay. The location is nice everything is pretty close by. The kickback hour very convenient I got some wine.

CLEAN ROOM. GREAT "HAPPY HOUR" FROM 5:30 TO 7PM HAD FREE DRINKS AND FOOD. FREE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT ALSO. DRURY IN RIVERWALK WAS RIGHT BY RIVER AND CLOSE TO OTHER DOWNTOWN SIGHTS. ONLY CON - SAN ANTONIO IS NOT AS HANDICAP FRIENDLY WITH ALL THE STAIRS THAT WE COULD NOT CLIMB AND MANY BUSINESSES DID NOT HAVE AUTO DOORS.

The breakfast was awesome! Very accommodating staff. The kickback with drinks and food was more than expected.

Very friendly staff, rooms were clean with plenty of supplies, and loved all the available amenities: included Breakfast, Dinner, Kickback drinks, rooftop pool, and gym.

The air conditioning worked great. The gym had the basics that are needed for a decent workout. Good selection at breakfast. Even though we weren’t traveling with children from what we saw, it looked family friendly.

Parking onsite is easy for this Riverwalk area although the parking area is small for a full size pickup truck.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences I have ever had! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and having a great time. From providing me with multiple bandaids to ordering me a cab to insure I made it to the airport on time. No matter what hurdle I hit with the travel, the staff were always eager to help and I am extremely grateful for their hospitality! I will be staying at Drury Inns from now on!

Edith and Jose we're very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, over all staff was happy, kind. The Hotels ambience over all was an old school feeling but very cozy. Easy entrance to the RW (riverwalk) with all the stores and restaurant walking distance. No need to drive anywhere just enjoy your time around the riverwalk/downtown area! We'll be back forsure!

Great atmosphere and everythingis walking distance. Only issue was the room wasn't ready when we got there at check-in and wasn't notified before hand.

Awesome hotel. Lived the high ceiling in the room. Complimentary hot breakfast and happy hour. Rooftop pool. Walkable to shops and restaurants on River Walk. Easy, affordable parking. Staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the room.

This is our go to when we visit San Antonio. They offer a great breakfast. 5:30 each evening you get 2 drinks and finger foods. The pool is amazing. Location can’t be beat. You literally step out onto the riverwalk. It’s close to the Alamodome. Also clean, staff is always amazing. They are pet friendly but not a lot of options for bathroom for your dog.

This was our 3rd stay at this property on a family vacation to San Antonio. It is very clean and so quiet! Our room had 10 windows so plenty of views. The breakfast in the morning is a huge bonus along w the evening snacks. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely perfect. I will stay here from now on when visiting San Antonio.

The room and the shower with plenty of assist bars

This is our fourth year in a row to stay here. It is very nice and convenient on the riverwalk. Park in the garage and never have to get out because everything you could need is within walking distance. The few times we did venture out far we just got an uber. Nice breakfast and happy hour makes it that much better.
