Courtyard Marriott Riverwalk

The rooms were clean, but dated with a barely functioning toilet and no hot water in the morning. The lobby and breakfast/bar area were fine, but pool was disgusting. We refused to use it as the water was almost green and there were questionable stains in it. It would have been nice since it was 90 plus degrees our whole stay. I will probably find another place to stay next time.

I took an hour for the staff to bring us blankets and sheets for the pull out bed at 12am. We had to call 4 times to find out where the sheets were and if they were coming at all with the sheets.

The property and location both are great, depending on the room some are showing a little age. Our room had a constant dingy and/or marijuana smell but that was most likely from the guest next door. The dingy smell.

I had the room with the balcony facing the river didn’t particularly like the balcony wasn’t spacious enough. The view was not that great either the room was clean and comfortable and quiet though room service was good housekeeping was great. The area was convenient to get around to the Riverwalk. I didn’t get to try. The bistro didn’t seem like it was open whenever I got hungry, but I was close enough area to restaurants and bars that it wasn’t a factor. There was one night that I did get locked out of the main door which they had let me know that after a certain hour they lock the front doors. You have to let yourself in with the key. I wasn’t aware of that other than that it was OK.

Property was within close walking distance of many of San Antonio’s attractions. Staff was great and facilities were clean. But be aware that there is valet parking only at $54 a night and if it is an oversized vehicle it is even more. One morning we had to wait more than 30 minutes for our vehicle. It wasn’t that they were that busy it just took the valet that was retrieving our vehicle that long.

We got there to check in our room when we got to the room unpacked the room smells like wet dog once we woke up the next morning the bathroom was flooded. Spoke with the housekeeper. They came up several hours later we had to put towels on the floor for the water once they came up we asked to be moved, which took them hours before they moved us for the price I paid that hotel is not worth it then they charge $54 a night to park then they leave your car on the curve housekeeping staff very unprofessional call down to get towels they kept asking me. Are you sure you don’t need nothing else? Are you sure constantly very unprofessional

Had trouble finding a working ice machine had to go to three different floors before I could find one that worked. Also, they should’ve let guest know that you have to scan in after midnight. I’m not sure what time because the door is locked.

Parking definitely not good help. Valet parking was to expensive for one day, and also the jacuzzi was not enough hot, … but everything else was very nice clean perfect close to river walk. Front desk so nice and kind. Professional.

Our room was not large-small king. But was in good working order. Air conditioner was quiet-room was very quiet, didn’t hear people in other rooms around us.

Everything was good. Overall very happy with the experience. Breakfast had limited vegetarian operations although the staff customised it for us. A little more vegan options and a buffet option could really further enhance the wonderful overall experience.

The view was amazing The fact that you had to have s credit card for the room debit want good enough and neither was cash. The elevator would shake so bad we climbed the stairs to the 15th floor. Also didn't like the fact that worth how much you pay the parking wasnt included.

The cleanliness and location were exceptional. The parking situation was less than ideal especially during peak hours.

We have stayed here at this location twice in the past year. The staff are friendly and our stay was pleasant. We love that we can walk to all the restaurants and sites we were visiting for. We will be back!.

The view of the city was nice but that was the only good thing about it. When we arrived at our room it smelled like mold and the elevators reeked of urine, dont know why because pets are not allowed. Not worth what we payed.

Staff was very friendly. Everything was clean in my room but could have used a once over with a duster on some ledges. Even on the 11th floor the view was not the best from my room but nothing to be done about that. You cant move buildings.

This is our 4th year staying at Courtyard Marriott Riverwalk. We made it a family tradition to visit for the local Fiesta events. Our stay is always relaxing and with a home like feel. The room was very cozy and clean! The staff is always amazing! And such a great way to relax in the lobby with a Starbucks and Bistro on site!

The hotel was a great location for the Riverwalk. It was clean, cool, and friendly staff. The only complaint I have is that the restroom did not have a fan, so when taking a shower you have to wait A WHILE for the steam to clear.

We had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! The balcony view was absolutely wonderful, providing a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The location couldn’t have been more convenient—everything we wanted to see and do was just a short walk away. Our room was spotless, and the mattress was easily one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in a hotel. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Antonio!

The woman at the front desk was very friendly and kind. She asked my preference about room location and when I said I didnt care, she gave me a beautiful, quiet room on the top floor overlooking the Riverwalk. I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Both the front desk staff and the valet staff were outstandig. The hotel was clean, and for a big city, very quiet. The location was walkably close to everything we came to see.

This is a very clean and well located hotel. You can walk to the Alamo in about 10min or less. The staff were great, and the food at the bistro was fantastic. The adult drinks were way more alcohol and cheaper than ANYWHERE on tje Riverwalk.

Very comfortable and nice hotel parking options leave a little to be desired at $50 per night for valet or garage parking but that was the only thing keeping them from 5 stars overall.

Awesome location. Good staff, comfortable bed to fall into after a busy day exploring San Antonio. Valet parking was very efficient.

Lobby and dining area were nice. Friendly staff. Room was a little awkward with only 12” between the end of the bed and the closest.

Pretty standard hotel room, but very clean and front desk staff were lovely. You can’t beat the location- walkable to all the best restaurants on the river walk. My only con is the valet parking was overpriced- we parked off site in a garage a block away that was much more reasonable.

Room was smaller then what was shown online and found a bug in restroom and valet was super expensive and your vehicle is stored two blocks away from the property.

The hotel was fine. The beds are comfortable which is what mostly matters to me. The valet parking was a little complicated upon arrival as there is scaffolding in front which made it a little difficult to access. Breakfast was good and the Bistro on site was convenient for snacks, coffee and cocktails. It was very convenient for our plans to visit legoland.

Parking, $15 a day, was 2 blocks down from the hotel. Did offer $50 a day plus tip for valet. Water in bathroom smelled bad. Coffee pot, if that is what you want to call it, was super small and didn't operate properly. The Bistro in the hotel was good but limited and a bit pricey. Grateful we add a meal at time we made reservations.
