Reviews
The hotel's proximity to downtown and major attractions like the Alamo and Riverwalk is highly appreciated by guests. However, cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms are major concerns, with several guests reporting stained sheets, dirty bathrooms, and broken fixtures.
- Excellent location close to downtown and major attractions
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Poor cleanliness and maintenance in rooms
- Questionable neighborhood, despite proximity to downtown

The hotel was in a great location. Close to the Alamodome. There is a bus stop close by to the hotel so I could go Downtown or any destination during my stay. HEB Grocery Store, a convience store (forgot the name), & Church's Chicken restaurant are walking distance from the hotel. N/A

Diverse neighborhood was a beautiful experience. Took pics with the MLK statue and Rosa Parks Way sign. Very close to San Antonio Spurs Frost Bank Arena. Made way to the Alamo after checking out. Family who runs motel is very friendly. Felt like family.

Close by a venue that I was attending during my visit. Price was amazing considering how close the Alamo and Riverwalk were. Great TV options if you have the subscriptions and it was semi quiet but not too quiet, which I prefer. Pillows were super comfy, and I appreciated the security cameras outside the establishment because it felt like we were in a bad area close to downtown. However, I felt safe during my stay. Having a dog myself it did ease my mind, knowing there was a dog watching the place from what it looked like. Bed sheets and blankets had yellowish stains, so I'm not sure if they're just getting old or worn. Our faucet to the sink was a tad loose but could easily be fixed, and the same goes for the shower head. The water hits you hard, so I found that barley turning the knobs made it better, and the shower curtain wasn't clinging inward like it did the first time with the hard pressure. When I first arrived, I was tired from the 13 hour drive we had just accomplished, and checking in could've gone a lot smoother had the guy known my reservation to the T. He almost gave me a one bed when I had booked 2 queen beds. It was my mistake for saying yes when he had asked me if I was staying 4 nights when I only booked and stayed for 3 nights, paying $320 instead of $285 that was stated on my email confirmation. So I lost out on $35, but again, it was my fault for agreeing.

This place is a short Uber to downtown and the rooms were clean. We slept comfortably. The area of town was questionable (not their fault) and the bathroom door didn't shut. It was noisy outside of our room.

It's clean with new mattresses and pillows (beauty rest black pillows at that). It was very quiet too. The family that runs it is so kind, too. This isn't anything that can be helped, but the parking was tight. And we missed the menu for the delivery place until after we ordered terrible pizza!

It’s proximity to the Alamodome and Riverwalk. It’s only a 5 minute drive down E. Commerce. Also, despite the look of neighborhood, it’s relatively safe, and the staff are not unfriendly. Though the building was old and in a less aesthetically pleasing area, that’s not what bothered me. The room was not clean. The floor was dusty, the sheets had old stains, there were hairs in the tub, and some of the towels smelled fishy. Also, the door didn’t close properly; there’s sizable gap in the door jam with light streaming through 24/7. P.S. The bed was hard as rock lol

Everything. Sketchy location, staff were hard to understand, beds were uncomfortable, rooms were old and in disrepair, had to circle the block twice to find it because google maps has the hotel in wrong location.
