The room wasn’t really dirty but no super clean. Everything looks dated and no well maintained throughout the years. What actually was bad was the noise from the toilet. It was specifically annoying during the night.

Nothing Dirty falling apart. Smelled of filth and cigarettes. Appeared to be a homeless shelter. Did not feel safe. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Pathetic. There was garbage strewn in parking lot and broken down cars that looked like they’d been there decades with blown out windows no plates and littered with garbage. Their website was all lies. The photos were fake.

Bathroom door was falling off the frame and couldn’t be opened or closed, ceiling plaster was falling down, hair was in the sink and on the floor, bugs, and the room didn’t look like it had been cleaned at all.

My book is in room through, through you guys I said I want to smoking room they took $100 security I didn't get back because we smoked in the room nothing was harm nothing was burnt nothing but ashes no where. She was rude belligent unpleasant to talk to took my security positive $100 the room sucked the toilet wouldn't flush cockroaches in the room without keep them outside of building with ridiculous and dirty trashy I wouldn't recommend staying here to nobody I'm in a cockroach motel.... Greedy Indians that don't care about nobody but yourself take a damn $100 security problem because smoked in a damn room that I thought was smoking cuz I booked a smoking room There was nothing to like about to stay at all $60 room cost $180

I get the pool is out of season, but it doesn't look like they've maintained it in years. The rooms are so poorly lit. The bed was so very very hard and made a metal clanking noise every time you got up and down off of it which disturbed my mother every time I got up and the WIFI would not stay connected at all so I couldn't do somethings I needed to do while I was there which for was a family funeral and I was supposed to have a handicapped room for my mother but the room was not handicapped accessible and the shower wouldn't completely come out of the shower head when you took a shower so the water pressure wasn't very good at all. The WIFI wouldn't stay connected and I kept getting kicked off, the bed was so very hard it was uncomfortable and the shower didn't work properly

fresh towels, someone took my trash out that was nice. the toliet rocked back and forth when I sat, there were large bugs in my room. Lighting in the room was horrible. I wish there was another layer of curtains so that I could have natural light come in but have no one seen me still. People were outside my room smoking in the abandoned pool area. I was scared!

I really only like having a roof over my head. It's an old building, not the type of hotel I'm use to staying at. Even though it was supposed to be clean based on the age of the building, I was definitely uncomfortable. I was afraid to put my items (luggage, shoes, etc.) on the floor. All of the above except my first sentence. The walls were paper thin. You could hear conversations, walking and moving around throughout the night. I did not like the outside entrance. It was definitely not my type of hotel.

Overall you get what you pay for. Some rooms are pet friendly (had a dog barking next to us). Not what I expected to wake up to. Rooms are older and in need of updates. Towels are cheap so bring your own. There is a cash deposit required. Breakfast is very basic and you can not take it to your room without a charge.

Room was clean. Included a microwave and refrigerator. Only complaint I have is that at the time I booked the room in July 2025 for my stay in December 2025 I was not notified that there was a $100.00 damage deposit required at the time of check-in. Plus that deposit could only be made in cash or a major credit card.

Front desknwas very rude and definitely not welcoming. The romm was ehh. The lamp was rusting and the remote forbthe tv barely worked. But hey it wasnt an expensive hotel sonyoubgwt what you pay for. This facility was like a prostitute hang-out. If first impressions are accurate, I thought it would be a good murder scene in a black and white B-movie. The lighting was apparently dimmed so we couldn't see the dirt. But it was there. We did not stay and requested a refund. No dice.

And unfortunately a housekeeper entered our room and put dirty sheets on our bed after we removed them and stole my $130 beats headphones. And the staff told us there was nothing they could do about it because they trust their housekeeper… don’t come here!

The "smoke free" handicap room had an awful stinch. Purchased air freshener from the local store to help. The room needs a DEEP cleaning.

The pictures listed on Expedia were very misleading because when we actually made it to the property. It was not the updated, colorful, and bright images that were shown. Hopefully in future there will be some upgrades. This was me and my husbands first time in this area and we will not be back due to this bad experience.

The shower lad a leak so there was water all over the floor when we showered. The water also drained slower than it filled, so was standing in a pool of water during my shower. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable. But, we needed a hotel and it was one of the only affordable ones left that wasnt sold out

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. We checked in at night and you have to spake through a hole in the window. The rooms were dirty. I have pictures. If I could have went somewhere else I would have. I stayed in 2022, I hope it has improved.

But a great stay. Staff was friendly. My room was clean and in good condition. Quiet and I wasn’t bothered by anyone.

They would only accept a major credit card to pay, my TD visa/debit was not acceptable, I had to ask my wife to pay. Never ever encountered this issue anywhere else, I should have booked somewhere else and will next time.

PARKING FOR HANDICAPED WAS NONE EXISTANT FOR THE ROOMS

Room is clearly not cleaned. Someone's nose ring was left on the sink counter. Floor and base around toilet had layers of grim. Hairballs in the shower walls.

The pictures on Expedia for this property are wrong. It is in disrepair. Wish I could upload photos to this. All the furniture was scratched and damaged. The toilet rocked back-and-forth. It was not secured safely to the floor. The interior of the rooms was very dark and dingy. The staff was pleasant enough, and if it wasn’t for the fact that there were no rooms anywhere else, we would’ve left.

Allows pets with a $25 charge. Clean and convenient to most of Salisbury.

Liked very little. Overdoes every other weekend. We didn’t want room service, so they got mad at us and tried to say we had a cat Amd we didn’t. Real seedy environment Amd they seem to like it that way. They also kept 2 nights of my room and a $100 deposit with no proof. I was there over 50 days waiting on a rental property.

Parking lot unsafe. Two of our guests fell. One broke her arm. Lounge chair was shredded from cats or some other creature. Tub faucet pulled away from the wall. No soap was provided. The entire room lacked maintenance and needed updating. It'll be my last choice to ever stay in an Econo Lodge again.

The room needed repairs, plus cover had cigarette burns. Look like places i stayed in the 90's. Need major renovation.

Not clean. What hotel asks for a 100$ cash deposit? Don’t stay here.

Was clean and a good location. Just a little rundown and tired looking.

The facility is old but the renovations are nice. It is a good economical place to stay. The only downfall we saw was a half inch gap under the door, but it closed and locked ok.

It was cheap. You get what you pay for. Mold all over tub. Toilet barely flushed. Door locks made me uncomfortable. Stank of weed everywhere. Quiet enough though. Only slept there so not terrible.

Was dirty and toilet wouldn’t flush and next door lady had a dog that barked all night. Had to cancel the rest of my stay and go elsewhere! Wouldn’t of stayed the first night if it wasn’t so late and I was exhausted!

Everything was good and clean. There was nothing about it that I did not like. I'll give it 8 out of 10 Stars

It was older so no matter how clean it actually was, it still looked dirty and run down. Layout felt unsafe in the back building because there were so many blind corners and stairwells. Wouldn't stop there again.
