Good sized room which was clean and had the amenities needed for a short 1 night stay for work.

Wiped out after being in the hospital all day, the staff was great at making check out fast, convenient and coffee in the lobby was perfect! Room was everything we wanted, clean, spacious and the bed was heaven. Breakfast leaves nothing to want. Huge selection and the kitchen staff kept it clean and full the entire time.

This was a clean hotel. The breakfast was very mediocre and we went to we went elsewhere. The staff is very understaffed. Whenever you call the front desk they never answer. And the parking lot gets completely full and then you have to go up around to the hospital to park in their parking lot, which is a bit unusual for a hotel.

The location to the hospital was perfect. Comfort Inn just across the street was significantly cheaper, of about the same quality, but more inconvenient because we would need to use our car to get to the hospital. Hampton Inn's main selling point is proximity to the hospital. 1) the breakfast was very mediocre. I expect more for my money. 2) our room (615) was next to some sort of heavy machinery room (perhaps the HVAC for the common areas). Throughout the night, we heard significant noise from this machinery. 3) I had the impression that Hampton Inn was a top-quality hotel. My opinion of this chain has plummeted. I would rank them much better than Super8, but lower than Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield Inn.

I used this hotel because I was there for a family member that was in Lewis Gale Hospital. Our parking lot was within walking distance of the hospital. We didn't have to leave the property if we didn't want to. I did have to drive my elderly mother to the main entrance but I was able to walk to the hospital. The grocery store across the street also helped us not go far from the hospital. It also served hot food.. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing. 24 hour coffee and apples were given through the whole stay. The room was extremely dark. The lighting is not adequate for the room. During the day we had to leave the curtains open for added light. Good thing we were assigned a room on the 6th floor so no one to see inside the room. The front desk was made aware and they get constant complaints about the lightening.

Nicer-than-usual business hotel next to Lewis Gale hospital (there's a walkway directly from the hotel to the hospital grounds). The outdoor breakfast seating area looked nice - vine-covered courtyard - although it was too cold to sit. Ample breakfast buffet with a good variety; fried chicken patties and waffles were available when we stayed. I couldn't find anything to dislike. It's not the most exciting hotel in terms of decoration, but what it does, it does well.

The lobby of this particular location is lovely. Having breakfast in this adjacent space was very pleasant. There could be a better selection of teas and fruit options.

We reserved for 3 and when we arrived we were told we only had a king bed. After several tries and like a favor they gave sheets to arrange some pillows on the floor just to discover there were a sofa came in the bedroom. Clean service were just “basic”.

Didn't like the fact we could nor use the pool do to a infestation of spiders that was black and jumped. They was all over the furniture pool ans concrete and if try kill them they would just spread more and they jump on you

For an affordable and family-friendly hotel, this was perfect. Had handicapped-accessible indoor and outdoor hangout space for my son to walk around. Plenty of breakfast options. Nice and quiet for sleeping even though we were close to the elevator. Would stay there again

After getting expensive room there was NO jets in tub big disappointment plus no remote to tv and tv was too far from bed hard to see for old people lol needed more pillows

The room was spacious, both the bathroom and main room. I liked the separate area for the frig and microwave. I also appreciated there being an outlet by the long mirror in the main room. It makes it easier for two people getting ready.

This was not my 1st stay @this hotel & I was satisfied again. The staff was so welcoming. My room was very clean. The coffee fresh & I checked in around 6:00 p.m. The bed a little hard, the pillows a little small but I was very comfortable. Hotel is close to shopping & my granddaughter's house.

Staff was amazing howerver, bed was hard. Mini fridge was loud and when someone took shower at night time you woke up with a scratching high pitch noise. But for the cost was ok. Was there for cheer competition

I had a really great stay at this hotel. Everyone at the front desk was great, the breakfast had lots of options, and I never heard any noise at night. The only small criticism I have was the limited grassy areas for dog walking, but I guess we're supposed to use the space at the apartments across the street. But I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful; however, the hall to my room(101) the humidity and heat hit you in the face. i was concerned about the a/c not working. once i was in my room the a/c wouldn't cool the room off. at one point it was 77 degrees in the room and the a/c would not stay on. I also will note that the bathroom shower was so strong that it flooded the bathroom during the shower. I had to use all of the towels in the bathroom both nights of my stay to clean up the water in the shower. My second morning, i grabbed a coffee and as i was almost through the lobby one of the ladies screamed at the top of her voice, "good morning!: i am okay with a moring greeting but the tone and decibel of her voice was like she was at a Salem Red Sox game. too much for 6:00 a.m. As for the location it was very close to my conference but not sure I shouldnt have stayed at the other Hampton Inn in town. Keep in mind my company stays in Hampton Inns consistantly throughout the year.

The air quality in the room was poor. Very humid and sticky even with the air conditioner on. The air conditioner was not very effective in the lobby area and hallways. They all felt stuffy. The coverlet on the top of the bed was stained and very unappealing. The staff was very friendly.

Was just a one night stay on the way down to a graduation weekend but the hotel was clean, and new and comfortable.
