Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Simon's Island

This is an outstanding hotel in a great location. The hotel is looks like new and the lobby is very spacious and attractive and the staff was especially helful and welcoming. Great fitness center! The room was among the best I've stayed in recently and I've recently traveled and stayed in San Francisco, Big Sky Montana, Jacksonville, Florida and 3 hotels in Switzerland. The kitchenette was the best! The desk area was large as well as the sitting area with couch. I'll be back!

Everyone was very professional.

The hotel is very cozy and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The swimming pool is fantastic and well-maintained. Also, the breakfast is very generous and delicious—highly recommended!

We have stayed many times. It is always a very good stay.

I have been to alot of hotels but this one has topped it for me and family. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and we had free water!!!!! That was a surprise for me. It was very convenient as we were driving across state. We were also placed near a small airport and it was cool to see planes active. Pretty nice and we will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The room was "like new" looking. I had a wonderful small couch and a nice desk to do my work and emails. The breakfast at the Hotel are always good. And best of all, the lady at yhe front desk was helpful and friendly. It was refreshing to see someone who appears to really like their job. Check out was also a pleasant experience.

good breakfast. you were right by the airport so if you like to watch planes this will be something you may want to consider. parking was very limited but still able to get a spot. if you come on more popular day you may have issues finding a spot to park. dog friendly

We requested a room with a view of the airport.. we enjoyed watching the jets and the people coming and leaving…very quite in the room..we got a studio and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed, fridge, microwave etc. the lady at the breakfast area was wonderful and so was the staff there. Very pleased overall

They must have hired a midget to install the bathroom mirror. I'm 6'2" and all I could see was from my collarbone down. Other than that room was nice.

Also, staff very nice, but the power went out in a storm, and we had to leave, we both have COPD, and could not breathe if the air stayed off. It came back on, as we were leaving, but they expected worse storms and flooding that night. We came home a day early. They refunded the night so that was very good. We will stay there again

Customer service was top notch, better than I've experienced at any other hotel that I've visited. From the moment I arrived Danita, Tashawna and Mike would send me a text, making shure that everything was going well. Highly recommend. Nothing.

Our room was huge. Biggest hotel room we,ve ever had that wasn’t a suite. Staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered. Next to small airport that isn’t very loud and you can watch small planes landing and taking off during the day. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The pool was good in the evenings with the kids.

The room was large and comfortable enough for a family of 4. Good breakfast The room was not cool enough. The faucet in the tub was very loose. Had to hold the faucet to turn the shower on, very loose.

The breakfast was delicious especially on the weekend. If I have to mention something was the flies by the grill and the ants in the pool area.

Staff was wonderful, super nice people. Room smelled pretty bad, light fixures on the ceiling were all very loose, air condition was in desperate need of cleaning. Pillows looked like they were not clean, the linens were clean.

Location - at the airport, next to FBO, good-sized room, good facilities, quick and easy check-in. Booking.com added pet fee to quoted price for no reason. Hotel didn't charge the pet fee, but it shouldn't have been added in the first place.

The hotel was very nice and clean and in a great location. Not far from the beach. Driving distance. And there were plenty of places to eat near by and within driving distance. For some reason the halls were extremely hot and stuffy

The hotel is very nice and modern. My room was very clean and spacious. I love the mini kitchen. Very well equipped. You could barely hear the airplanes landing and taking off. Although we really enjoyed just watching the airplanes. Staff very nice and breakfast was fulfilling.

check in/out was easy. room was clean. gym was small but clean and more than adequate for my needs. food was pretty good. pillows were awful - just awful - and when we asked for more we were advised to get them from the cabinet next to the closet. those were musty smelling. Also, the location was a bit unexpected. We knew it was by the airport but didn't expect to see planes just behind the pool area. The pics of the pool were misleading. It would not have been enjoyable/peaceful to sit out there. It was chilly so we didn't want to but would have been quite upset otherwise. Otherwise, the location was fine in that it was easy to find and centrally located.

The breakfast was okay. We enjoyed the waffle maker but they need to offer sausage or bacon to go with the waffle. They only offered sausage inside a frozen breakfast biscuit sandwich.

The staff was nice at front desk There was only one person working per shift, called down for extra pillows because the pillows were horrible and they told me I had to wait a few hours to get them and it was already 9:30pm. Then they called me to ask me to meet them at the elevator to get them. They sent them up the elevator without anyone in it.

Well, upon check in I was asked if I had pre checked in, I said no. When I gave my name I was told that I was already checked in. I told them I was pretty sure I didn't. I was given the key and my husband took our things to the room, while I stayed down stairs. When he walked in someone was already checked into the room. My husband was livid ( he could have been shot)! When he came back down the receptionist looked into it and found out that there were two Whitfield's that were registered for that day (different first names) but who ever checked that couple in they possibly did not check ID's because they put them in the room that was scheduled for us. While we were extremely taken back by this, we decided to speak with a manager and hopefully they can use this as a training/teaching item as what never to do again. This was our 2nd year staying at the hotel. We were here the year before for out 30th wedding anniversary for 7 days and had a ball. Overall, we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Home2Suites in St. Simons Island. The room was very cozy and clean. This was my first stay at Hilton and I absolutely loved it. The staff was absolutely amazing and the room was clean and well organized. My kids also really loved making smores at the fire pit. I would definitely recommend.

All was well. The location is perfectly centered between St Simon beach and Jekyll. Never heard any noise from the airport next door and this was close to stores.

Service and check-in during the morning shift was great. The young lady in the afternoon wasn’t as nice and helpful.

Although it is close to the airport, it did not disturb our stay. Breakfast was very nice. Our bathroom definitely needed to be cleaner as well as the outdoor pool. Overall it was a good place to stay.

I was surprised that they have someone like that dealing with customers , Other than that the place was nice , I have reported that rude lady to management hopefully no one else will have to deal with her.

The front desk person at check-in was unfriendly and unhelpful, so much so that even though we had a separate reservation for a stay beginning the next day, I cancelled it and booked a condo instead.

This property is right on the airfield for the airport. So if you love aviation this is the place for you. The staff is so kind and courteous and very understanding of issues that pop up with GA Pilots. Can't wait to come again.

The building, furniture, fixtures - even the walls looked old, filthy and unkept. Staff at breakfast were rude and unfriendly. The other HUGE strike was the next morning - room service was knocking on our door at 9:30 asking “clean your room??” (At last check - check out is at 11). The front desk should be making housekeeping aware of who is still in & who has checked out! Yesterday you didn’t have a room ready at 4:30p and today you’re rushing us out an hour and a half earlier??? Do better H2S St Simons - you’re a disappointment to your brand!

Excellent family stay. Had everything we needed as a family of 4 with two young children. Comfortable beds, breakfast included and a pool with a view of the planes landing at the airport. The airport is quiet and in a great location to the beach.

Supposed to be a kitchen but instread a sign that read we have stove tops if you go downstairs and check with the front desk. Also, no room service for three night stay. Never got new coffee in room. Very sad for a Hilton.

I would defintley stay and recommend staying here again. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean.

The small airport behind the pool was Ok except when crew would leave the engines running without passengers aboard and the jet fuel encompassed the pool area. I didn’t like the HVAC system, it was difficult to get comfortable.
