The staff was very nice and the room was very nice and clean and comfortable, but the property was dirty and there were lots of people just hanging around and making noise and playing loud music really late at night. I was a little concerned about my car, but it was fine in the morning.

From the moment I arrived, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. As I was looking for the front desk attendant, someone approached me and offered me drugs. That was my first red flag. To enter the lobby, I had to be buzzed in, which immediately made me question the safety of the property. While checking in, another individual came into the lobby and began asking me questions. Concerned, I asked the hotel attendant if the property was safe. Rather than addressing my concerns, he laughed. As I continued to look around, I noticed numerous homeless individuals in and around the parking lot. There were people openly smoking drugs, individuals sleeping in broken-down vehicles, and trash and human waste visible throughout the area. The property itself appeared dirty and poorly maintained. I was so uncomfortable and concerned for my safety that I decided not to stay. I returned to my car, drove around the property, and observed even more people loitering, socializing, and openly using drugs in the parking lot. At that point, I feared for my personal safety and left immediately without completing the check-in process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this property. The conditions and overall environment made me feel unsafe, and it was not at all what I expected.

We had made reservations via Expedia. When we arrived, the elevator was not working and when we asked to see the room it smelled and was not clean. We advised the desk we would not be staying and they told us they would not charge us. They lied as it showed up on my credit card. When I saw that, I called Expedia, who then notified me the next day that the hotel told them they did not charge us. I have not sent Expedia a copy of the charge on their website and have asked them to contact the hotel again.

This property was surrounded by a homeless encampment, the clientele all looked dangerous and I felt unsafe to get out of the car. We have asked for a refund. The false advertising regarding this property ruined our trip. We drove home

Room was ok. Dirty towels were not. People shooting up in the stairwell was not. People banging on our door at 930 multiple times looking for "crystal" was not. Broken elevators was not. No ice machine was not but the front dest did give us like 6 cubes.

The room had smoke damage, and the shower was difficult to turn on. There were dead bugs on the floor. The deadbolt lock on the door was missing. The bathroom door did not close completely.

Did not even enter the room once we saw the activities of this property. Seems sketchy and dirty. Do not recommend unless you want to gamble with your safety and wellbeing!

Requested a room on the 3rd floor was told they dont have any. Room we got had a non working TV but the staff insisted it worked even coming up to the room twice to try and fix. Finally gave up and moved us to a room on the 3rd floor ! Lol Made a mistake booking this room i thought it was Governors Inn lol. Stay away from this property

As I pulled up to the registration office to check at 3pm on 4/21 I knocked on the night window because the lobby was locked and nobody was there to help me. As I walked back towards my car there was people in the parking lot asking me for money. I felt scared because it was more than one person and told them I didn’t have any. I noticed they were talking to someone in one of the rooms that looked lived in and messy there and some were coming from the street staring at me. Someone showed up at the window and I told them I need to leave because the people in the parking lot were being inappropriate with me and I didn’t feel safe. I asked the person at the window please don’t charge me, I need to leave and I’ll find a room elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as it’s misleading on the picture. The picture on the ad doesn’t show the large encampment across the parking lot from the hotel which is obvious when you actually drive there.

Only good thing about the place is the price It smelled like cigarette smoke and weed, there was trash and dirty clothes all over the parking lot, rooms had broken windows, the 2nd lock on our door was broken, wall paint was all scratched up, furniture in room looked like it's from or should be in bad thrift stores, the blankets had cigarette burns and sheets were dirty, towels were dirty, room smelled horrible, bathroom doorknob was broken, shower didn't work properly, TV was almost impossible to get to work but once we got it to work we realized the picture was fuzzy / broken.

Several issues with room. No hang up rod for clothes, old washcloths and towels, stained sink, some outlets didn't work, I couldn't get wifi on my laptop, walls think so heard neighbor steps and loud shower noise late at night. Basic amenities there. No breakfast, no tissues, no hair dryer but borrowed iron. Homeless nearby but wasn't bothered by them.

They need to talk with there housekeeping staff The rooms were dirty the lien was had stains on the sheets and the mattress topper like people skins and dirt was left in the bed the sofa bed had dirty clothes in it and not to mention pulling the sofa bed out it had all types of dirt and dog hair in it

I booked this for my dad, and when I asked if he wanted the same one on his way back home he said No way!!!! The carpets had things still on the floor (not vacuumed) and the toilet seat was falling off. He’s elderly and they gave him a second level room with a broken elevator. He said it was a hotel like a halfway house.

I liked the key cards and the easy check out and the room heater/ac. The door go the room had a gap underneath so the cold air kept coming in. There were also people screaming during the night. There was a weird odor in the room almost a urine smell. The bed sheets were not clean and the bathroom had hair from a previous stay.

The bedspread was stained. The sheets were stained. The floor was disgusting. The TV barely worked. It had lines through the picture. The shower didn't work. It basically just dribbled water out. It was the most terrible hotel I've ever stayed in in my entire life. No joke

Nothing at all!! Falsely advertised... Rating ZERO ⭐ 's = (F--) FAILED!! Review: This place was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The building looked run-down, and the moment we stepped inside, it only got worse. The room was filthy — stains and spots of who-knows-what on the walls, a smell that lingered no matter what we did, and the “living quarters” looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. ? It was falsely advertised as a four-star hotel, but I wouldn’t even give it half of one. There was nothing about this stay that matched the photos or the description online. The entire experience was preposterous — completely ridiculous for something claiming to be four stars. Avoid at all costs you will be severely disappointed. ?

I think the worst of all was the pull out mattress was covered in what seems to have resembled piss and blood, and there was no bedding to cover it. I hope this is a qualification for a refund because we couldn’t sleep at all at a one night stay there.

This hotel is really worn out bad he's an entire upgrade on everything. The bed extraordinarily uncomfortable you can hear the springs. Cigarette burn marks in the sheets cigarette burn marks on the table it's just a bit of hotel. I almost didn't stay despite already paying non-refundable

There was a sign on a window that red, "back at 8:30" and it was past that. I had to yell at the clerk through a slot. I informed him that I would not be staying there because I did not feel safe staying there as there were many people loitering around the parking lot. I had set it up to pay upon arrival and he said it was past 6:00 so that I'd be billed and I should stay anyway. I do not think that's right so I will be lodging a formal complaint and speaking to my credit card agent.

The hotel has no noise muffling, from the extremely loud freeway. Are comes under the door along with even more noises. The heater is so loud and rattles, you can hardly sleep. The bedspread had cigarette burns on a room which is supposed to be Non-Smoking. The room smelled like a smoking room. My wife and I went there for our anniversary, the parking lot had some trash , our room was not cleaned only the bed was made up and bath room looking ok for whoever had to clean it. I do reviews everywhere I go, and look and give recognition where it is deserved. To start the blinds on the window didn't close all the way at one spot the 2 chairs are very dirty and one has urine stains on it. I turned off the light and ran my UV black light all over and it's bad , it needs to be steamed cleaned that chair. I feel management should take pride on his hotel and once in a while do walk around and see how's his staff are doing and making sure that the job is done right and keeping up with the place. It was adequate for the night. We only stayed one night and left very early in the morning for the airport. It was very obvious that the night desk employee was sleeping when we checked out.

It smelt disgusting, reeks of alcohol and weed. The whole time we felt unsafe and all the towels and things had unintelligible stains on them. As well as joint burn marks on the counter under the TV

This hotel is really nice and is a safe location and is Central to a lot of things in the Sacramento area. And it's next to the police station which has added security and comfort.

I had moved to this hotel because of the pretty reasonable rates. First day I arrived the bath towels had blood soaked stains and floor towel was dirty. I spoke to the receptionist at the time . She gave a new set and said the house keeper would clean tomorrow and change. Tomorrow came and once returning to hotel. Was not cleaned and gocd for the day. Spoke to asst mgr R. He said the mgr left note. Next day I came back and was verbally abused by the partner of the mgr who used derogatory language and racial slurs. He was obviously intoxicated I had to call 911 and police removed bio after mutiple too vacate premises. I have to tell you I will escalate the treatment I received . Not it mention . This hotel is lined up in a major homeless area. Mc Donald’s and Dennys are close . However drugs and undesirable street people ate full on. It is unfortunate and sad to be honest. I could not recommend this facility in all good consciousness. Hair in the bathtub, tv didn’t work, holes in the wall, dirty, sticky, holes in comforter from cigarette burn. Worst of all which is why we left, after pulling down bedding, there was hair in the sheets and bugs that you could see from standing up.

During check in, I was asked to inspect the room to make sure it was clean and everything was working. The microwave, fridge, remote, tv, etc. The room had a large puddle on floor and my room was changed. We were unable to turn the water on to shower. When we called the front desk, we were aske to call back in half hour and he hung up. The floor and all around the hotel is dirty with trash on floor.

At first I was given a room that was full of smoke and cockroaches running on a table, with no towels in a room and broken door to the bathroom. I immediately asked for a different room. I was given a better non-smoking room. The guy said they save these room for nice people. I wanted to walk around the area but the guy said it’s unsafe unless you are in a car. I did end up walking to the river and to the center and a few times had to run away from strangers. There are beggars, homeless people and criminals around looking for pray. There are signs of blood on the floor of the property outside of rooms and on the stairs. Cigarette buds all over. At night I felt someone might break into my room. The instructions were given to lock the room on deadbolt and the metal lock. Some woman next to my room was screaming at people outside with an array of curse words, either she is not going to pay or they should pay her. It’s the worst place I ever stayed at in my life. I regret I didn’t ask for money back right away and left immediately.

He had complaining about the bed the day we checked in and was told that it would be notated. But the manager seem to think that that had nothing to do with anything that if we had a problem we needed to come downstairs and physically speak to somebody and I explained to him that it was my time but I didn't have to go downstairs and complaining anything on a simple phone call would be fine. So if you go to this hotel check your room thoroughly top to bottom take any pictures that you feel something's off and makes you tell them directly or they won't rent you again and PS they're not getting a dime from me for the bed

First of all checking in they didn’t even ask for ID he just asked my name and gave me a room key I thought that was strange. Didnt even ask for vehicle description. I specifically asked for a non smoking room as I had my two small kids with me. Upon walking into the room it had a strong cigarette smoke odor. The room was dirty even though there were housekeepers cleaning it before we entered. There were stains on the curtains and sofa. The tv didn’t work at all & even if it did it was too old didn’t even have an hdmi port. The coffee maker was unplugged and shoved in a corner. There was a random sink in the room next to the mini fridge. The cabinet around the sink was all broken. The beds were old and very cheap the bed frame had wheels which rolled very easily . The mattress was very hard. The lamps between the beds did not work at all. There were burn marks on a lot of surfaces. The room was stuffy so we turned on the AC unit, strong ciggarette odor came from the unit, when it was night time and we turned on the heat it smelled of urine, so we just left it off. I used a half a bottle of febreze trying to make the room smell better. The outside of the building was sketchy with a lot of homeless and drug addicts. The most ironic part about this stay was the fact that I was travelling with my family so a total of 4 rooms we rented and we had kids with all of us, we got complaints about noise from kids yet there was alot of partying and sketchy traffic from other guests there

I felt totally unsafe. The room was interesting - unfinished floor, slow draining sink, missing weather stripping around door, no alarm clock, and late check-in like a a bank drive through. Lots of locked gating around property a trash. If I hadbeen so tired I would have looked for a different. Wouldn't recommend and will not stay again.

When I drove up there was a man walking around with a crack pipe. There was a group there that stayed outside around their cars talking smoking and were loud. I stayed only one night even though I had paid for two. It felt very unsafe to be there.

Walls are paper thin. Beds are very uncomfortable. Bed frame is metal and makes load noises all the time. Smoke detector was not installed. Just about everything in this place needs to be redone. Properties dont magically take care or fix themselves.

When I arrived someone was locking up the place. Left a note on the window stating be back in 30 minutes. Called the number on the window and literally got person persecuted for trying to get answers after driving 2 hours to get there. The manager/owner was the most disrespectful piece of……..totally unacceptable

Right off freeway, McDonald's, Denny's & gas station two blocks from hotel is the only good thing about this place. Staff is ok, my room was supposed to be a non-smoking room BUT, it smelled like smoke (like the smell is penetrated in the room). Surrounded by homelessness and the area around the hotel was dirty.

It was the cheapest package, and not worth even that. The area is not safe. There were signs all over warning you to watch out. Would I go there again? Sure, if the country turned into Mad Max, this would seem normal. Cannot emphasize enough - not a good place for saving money. You'll lose sleep (the beds, omg) and be enraged.

Continent location near old Sacramento town. Great dining near by. Attendant was very helpful, and vigilant. While I was checking in there was a disturbance on the property he took care of quickly. Didn’t find the room up to my standards of clean; but I’ve experienced worse! We had a room with a pull out couch- but there were no linens and it was very dirty! Overall, for the price; it was what I expected. Mostly quiet area with great amenities near by.

There were homeless people on the sidewalks, and what appeared to be drugs being dealt in the parking lot ALL night long. We were accosted by a man smoking pot in the elevator, as he got out he blew smoke in my wife’s face while cursing at us. They need to clean this place up. The room was ok at best

Check in was at 3pm. We got there closer to four and checked in but weren’t able to get into our room for 30 or so minutes cause it was still being cleaned. When we got into our room the room was gross and we never felt comfortable. The bedding was clearly not washed. Crumbs and what looked to be pubic hair was in the bed. The tub was gross. The bathroom fan was halfway hanging out of the ceiling and didn’t work. The floor was sticky and we found food on the floor. If it wasn’t absolutely necessary for us to have a room that night we wouldn’t have stayed.

The young man that checked me in was nice but spoke very quiet, hard to communicate through the glass. Property is surrounded by homelessness, air conditioner produced a putrid odor (couldn’t use it,) bedding was old and had black curly hairs stuck in the blanket, shower drain was full of gunk so it didn’t drain, person above my room made noise all night, and TV didn’t turn on. Don’t stay here!

I had to unexpectedly find a place while in Sacramento. So happy that I found a reasonable place that was affordable and clean… it was a pleasant stay and such a breeze to check in! The place was pretty huge.

Then when I got to the motel the lobby was locked and there weren’t any signs to say to use the side window. Not too big of a deal. But the attendant didn’t say anything besides asking for my ID and form of payment. Not very personal-able. Then we got to the room and the room looked decent and clean. The bathroom looked to have been left out of the remodel and seemed a bit dirty. It also seemed like the bathroom vent was attached to another rooms vent because someone was smoking weed in an adjacent room and it seeped into our bathroom and into our room. The door to the bathroom had to be lifted up to close all the way. And the door to the room seemed like it had been kicked in at some point because it didn’t sit tight and thus caused a vibration noise when the A/C was on. We most likely will not be returning to this hotel.

The area is full of homeless people and Tents. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Couldn't even get another towel when I asked for it. The dresser had a broken drawer, the mini fridge didn't work, and there was an ice bucket with no ice machine. Overall just a bad experience.
