    The staff was friendly. The coffee was decent. Our bathroom mirror was broken. The shower door didn’t close so water got everywhere. The fridge was cold and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. This place is right next to a Waffle House and has stations are conveniently located. It is a hub for semis in the back parking lot so if you’re towing there’s parking.

    Our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. We arrived later and not really excited to see a lot of people hanging around outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful. We had an issue with an individual sitting in their car playing loud music outside our room window after 11 pm. I called the front desk and someone, I believe it was Alex, went out and asked them to stop. Thank you! Made the difference in my being able to get some sleep.

    The first thing you notice when you walk into the lobby is the smell. The man who checked us in was on his cell phone having a conversation the whole time. The room was dirty, the shower had black mold on the floor and along the grout. The AC unit was covered in dust. The pool was freezing and did not seem well maintained. On our second night, around 8pm, another couple walked opened our door and walked into our room saying they were assigned that room. Our key cards were turned off around 9am our first morning there. The bathroom smelled like the sewer line was venting out of the shower drain or sink. There are two truck stops across the street, so you hear tractor trailers constantly. If the other hotels nearby didn’t seem more run down we would have switched hotels.

    The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the included breakfast is more than adequate. Over the years, I have noticed that some rooms are better maintained than others but for the most part, they are good. Staff is accommodating and friendly.

    Good location, right beside a 24 hour Waffle House, gas station, and minutes from local shops and Kings Dominion The front desk concierge staff was not very welcoming. Very blank, didn’t smile & was frequently MIA. The toilet kept clogging and the phone didn’t work, I reported both issues they sent me a plunger to fix the toilet myself but it took many attempts & even after concierge said they would send someone to fix the phone issue they never did. My hotel phone did not work throughout my entire stay. Also when I asked for more towels the next day I was only presented with one towel. Pool area was dirty at opening hours at 9am and there were no extra towels in the pool area. There was no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch & the sheets they provided were dingy white.

    I had a hard time with my Expedia reservation but Rabine was extremely helpful and spent alot of time solving my problem. He helped me reach out to Expedia and try to explain why I was having trouble. I couldn't get anywhere with Expedia on the phone so we left and he called me and told me that he had straightened it out and my reservation was all set. I really appreciate his help. He is a great employee to have representing your company.

    The room was good. The fridge in the room was not very cold. The freezer didn't keep our Klondike bars frozen. There was dirt and missing trim in the elevator. Tables in dinning area were not washed after use. Little spots of dirt build-up here and there just made it feel dirty.

    the hotel was fine. The room was clean and the bathroom newer which surprised us after entering the building. However the staff left a lot to be desired. The night person was borderline rude and the day person was OK until he implied I lied about having 2 dogs *( which I booked prior to the arrival) However , they put me in a room close to a side entrance which was perfect for the dogs. The breakfast was fine . It actually had plenty of choices and was clean. It was your basic breakfast.

    All of above plus a good price for the stay. Room must have been renovated recently since it was in fine shape. Only thing to comment on which was t up to par were the pillows. If i head up that way agsin in near future , i will put this motel on my go to list.

    Fair breakfast. Sufficient parking I don't know why worn and ruggish towels are used in the hotel rooms. I deserve better quality towels for what I pay for. I even found a roach in the bathroom. It was awful experience.

    Hotel was being renovated.. our first room had lighting issues and toilet was slow to flush. We were moved to another. Missing furniture, lighting issues, noisy fan. Breakfast was ok. No hot food at first, then when it was brought out, sausage was cold. Good coffee. Staff was very nice, but rooms were not ready for guests. See above.

    The room was ok but very strict about extra towel usage. Also the roof leaked in our room and they were very unapologetic about the issue of the room and acted like I was the issue instead of the room. They had a normal hotel breakfast similar to other hotel breakfast with small eating area.

    I had death in the family and was unable to get to the comfort inn and wanted to cancel Expedia said they would call Comfort Inn and return my call in 24 hrs and never did so I got charged 89.00 so I am not using expedia again and I used Comfort Inn all the time but I will not use it again

    The location is quiet yet close to I95. We frequently stay at this hotel on our way down south. The hotel is adequate, the rooms are a little worn , but the staff is nice and it’s a good place for an overnight. The included breakfast is good too.

    A.M and management said ‘oh we have a lag in our system’ I say No you have a serious problem! They didn’t apologize or refund the cost of the room for that night. That is inexcusable (yes we forgot to use the inside security latch). Probably the worst hotel in my 67 years. Old fixtures in bathroom with rust and discoloration. No effort to upgrade anything. A dampness feeling on the first floor. Unruly guests in the hotel didn’t help either. When management was approached about issues they never give you that ‘customer is right’ but smile giggle and make excuses. Holes cut out of walls in the rooms never repaired where possibly electrical outlets previously existed. No excuse !! Loud air conditioning units. A complete disaster and it ruins the brand name of Comfort Inn. Can’t tell you how seriously you need to avoid this place! Slum!

The AC of the elevator wasn’t working and has lot of trouble getting the WiFi. The water in the jar that was on the lobby was horrible, taste like an old water that had been never be change, the guy in the front door was so kind and gave me a bottle of water. The hotel needs to change the cleaning crew

    The breakfast could have been a little better. You could tell that it was microwaved sausage. Fire alarm went off 3 times. One time was 3am and myself and my 2 granddaughters had to go outside in pajamas. The staff never instructed us on what to do. They never answered questions about if it was a false alarm. They said nothing

    The staff was nice and the location was close to Kings Dominion. There's a waffle house next door that comes in handy when you leave the park later and the rest of the restaurants in town are closed. The mattresses needed to be upgraded they were very uncomfortable to sleep on. Only one towel was given per guest which meant that your second day shower had wet towels. The pool closed early and the welcome water in the lobby was empty the entire time I was there. The lighting in the room was very dark and it was difficult to figure out how some of the lights worked.

    The breakfast food ran out and it took a while to get it refilled. I enjoyed the food. I had attended a concert and got back late and the only parking places were at the very end of the parking lot, not really a parking space. This was due to trucks taking up more than one parking space. I did not feel safe parking in that area near a wooded area. Also, there was an odor in the room and I killed a cockroach in the bathroom.

    we stay here at least twice a year, and it has really gone down, we saw a roach go under the mat on the table where the tv sits, and another roach go behind a picture on the wall, no towels were in the room, a half roll toilet paper . I purchased two rooms, one for my sister, the air conditioner didn’t work in her room, the walls had brown spots on them!

    Cons: The hotel is updated but poorly constructed and maintained. There is a huge ant infestation at the main door and the side door. We mentioned this to management and were ignored. Our room was on the second floor and the elevator is broken so access to the second floor is by stairs only. We chose this hotel specifically for the indoor “heated pool”. When we checked out we waited around for almost 10 minutes and another guest was already waiting for help before we came down. Apparently the person at the front desk was also the person trying to run the breakfast area. I wouldn’t necessarily say the staff was unfriendly but no one smiled, not one apology for any inconvenience, and no offer of assistance. The hotel certainly did not feel welcoming. We will definitely not stay here again.

    The room wasn’t bad until something of ours fell on the ground and when I picked it up it smelt like strong dog pee. Yes I have a dog so I need pet friendly rooms but I mean it was disgusting, the bathroom was scary. The break was normal, the guy at the check it tried to charge me more for my pet even though the site said $20 he wanted to charge me more saying it was wrong. I have kids so I’m extra careful with cleanliness. Overall I hope I never have to stay there again.

    The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was not bad either. The room had a very strong musty smell, the floors were dirty. We took a room with a pull out bed to accommodate our big family and we were unable to use it because it was too dirty and sticky. The bathroom was newly redone put there were pubes on the floor and near the toilet. There was water damage all over the bathroom. All of us got allergies and were coughing. It was ok to stay for a night, we got there it was late so I did not bother ask for a room change or anything so I don't know if they would of accommodate that. We had a pet, they charge 20$ for a pet fee when they give you a very dirty room ....

    The clerk was unfriendly. He told us breakfast was 6:30-9:30. At 7:30 the lobby was blocked off due to construction and the morning clerk said breakfast was after 8:00. We needed to get on the road so we didn’t get breakfast. The room was shabby.

    I regret booking two rooms here for my family, even as just a stop to sleep over night. Its the grossest place iv ever stayed. As we walked through the hallway, because the elevators did not work it smelled awful dirty and musty. The pool looked slimy and nasty. The room light did not turn on…the only working light was one wall scone and the bathroom light. The tv did not turn on. Mind you i was with two children thankfully they had their tablets. My daughter put her hand on the front of the sink in the bathroom and the whole piece came falling off nearly hitting her little toes. This place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. I do not recommend this place to any one.

    Our room was disgusting. Housekeeping should have communicated with management before we even got there that the room was unfit to be slept in. There were gross fresh wet spots on an already disgusting carpet. I kept my shoes on after I first kicked them off and walked right through the first and biggest spot right at the corner of the bed in the only walkway to the other half of the room. I threw a towel on the biggest spot overnight and it was still damp the next day. There was a couch that I only sat on for 20 minutes and my and the bottom of my thigh had a itchy rash looking spot from I'm guessing bed bugs. The desk and desk chair were filthy and the mini fridge would've ruined my food and EXPENSIVE MEDICATION if I hadn't known better to trust it and actually check to see if it was cold, it was plugged in and up on the highest setting by hotel staff. Couldn't even walk to anything. Couldn't believe I was actually charged a temporary incidental fee...I left it better than I found it for Pete's sake.

    They were unable to move my family to a similar room on the lower Level- they gave us a smaller room with less beds leaving us with not enough beds for all of us. Try upset that we were trying to have a fun relaxing trip but ended without our bare minimum needs being met.

    I think there under staffed and over worked. Elevator did not function. Pool door was open and with our three kids we were asked to keep it down by front desk who had the door open. Easiest solution would be to close the door which we did. They did not want to give us an extra pillow for the pull out couch. Breakfast was supposed to be ready for 6:30am. It was more like 7 and the poor guy prepping it all was also working the front desk for check outs. Hotel was clean.

    Staff were helpful even as it was inconvenient that the shower door was not operational requiring us to pack everything up & change rooms after a long day.. the new room had someone’s cut onion in the refrigerator. The table was sticky - when i wiped it off the napkin had a lot of dark purplish red residue - the desk said “oh that must be from the paint” (huh?). The ceiling fire alarm was uncovered and had no battery. The bed was comfortable.

    I only chose to stay at this hotel due to the indoor pool and it being my daughter’s birthday weekend. The pool was cold and we requested it be heated for the next day and the person at the front desk said no problem. The next evening the pool was still cold and they said the heater was broken. False advertising on the pool and very disappointed kids. Also, the fold out sofa was falling in and we had to place a table under it to hold it up. Only sleeps 5 people, not 6, as only 1 person can fit the sofa. Hot breakfast was the same both days.

    We checked in and went to our room. It was 2 doubles, plus a pull out sofa. There was no matress in sofa, but need the extra room. Front desk gave us a roll out bed instead which was fine. Once we settled and turned down our bed, there were crumbs in it. Then daughter attempted to use the bathroom and there was hair on the toilet and around the sink. The towel was folded but didnt look clean. There was also bugs on top of the air condition unit. Let the front desk know we weren't staying and received a refund.

CONS The ice machine wasn't working & hand sanitizer machine was empty on the third floor. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay there.The room was great for the price.

    Received a room on the first floor. It was infested with roaches upon opening the door the room came to life when the lights came on. The door next to the room appeared to be pryed open in multiple locations along the door jam. It seemed with a crow bar or something similar had been used to open the door. I noticed the front desk manager she gave me another room. This room was on the second floor to door above the other rooms we had been given. Upon opening that door. Yup the same thing palmettos everywhere. The room came to life again. That was it we left.

    It is clean and convenient, i stay there 1 to 2 times a week and the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is not the greatest but atleast they have it.

    The lobby makes it seem as if this place is going to be decent! The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. He was not the problem. I booked a 2 bed and sleeper sofa room and there was no sofa in the room so i had to roll up the bed myself to the room. Next issue was they ran out of wash clothes so my husband had to use a full body towel. What really did it for me was the door to the bathroom. Specifically room 302 you get locked in the bathroom and have to be let out by someone outside the door. No way is this building up to code or inspected because the gym had mold from a water leak. My husband went down before me to get a table for breakfast and there were ants everywhere. The cleaning crew was close by so he tried explaining to her but she was having a hard time understanding what he was saying so he took the cleaning bottle and cleaned up all the ants. I never did eat because of that and the under cooked sausage. I could not check out fast enough. I would have rather slept in my car. Place needs to be shut down!

    1st room, bathroom had a puddle from leaking sink, second room, bathroom still had some hair left behind on the floor, had boats, bathroom mirror and tv were dirty. Beds were older and springs were worn out.

    The CONS: First, I needed instructions on using the TV remote which involved unplugging and replugging the cable cord - still not sure why but once they told us to do this, it worked the rest of the stay. Second, I didn't understand the pet fee was $20 per night, so I paid $40 because I stayed 2 nights. Next, the bathroom toilet wouldn't flush and we had to have maintenance plugger it The toilet sit was missing a screw so we slid around the toilet my entire stay No variation in breakfast runny eggs and half-cooked looking pork sausage - I don't eat pork. Watery coffee Breakfast juice machine had a Water label on it so I filled up my reusable water bottle only to drink it and it tasted like salt water - I notified the front desk and was told there is no water in the juice machine. Not sure now what I drank. 😳 The PROS: The waffles were really good and they offered different flavors original, strawberry and blueberry as well as chocolate chips to add to the batter - It was super convenient to where I was visiting, and where I was traveling from I also liked that they listened to my request to be placed on the 1st floor and near the door/stairs/elevator becuz I was traveling with my dog. Good Wi-Fi Each bed had lots of pillows Nice hot water and water pressure too! Alternative eggs were boiled so I had two of those each day for my protein intake. I am not sure if I'll stay there again -

    No reliable wifi TV would work for 4 minutes then go out kept talking v to the staff . It never worked very disappointing place. Then the ceiling almost fell on me it was flooded and poured out over into our room 107 the Front desk Lady said protect yourself as the water pipe broke again and water gushed We cut our stay and left We will never go back awful !!!! Breakfast was ok sausage was hard juice taste like filter needs to be changed. No sugar for oatmeal what a waste of money!!!!

    We stayed one night. It was ok. There was a Waffle House in walking distance. We ordered a pizza from Dominoes. Motel was clean. Desk person was nice.

    Couldn't get the tv to work and mentioned it to the front desk and they didn't take care of the problem. The shower door wouldn't stay closed, resulting in water on the bathroom floor. Wash cloth wasn't clean and the overall cleanliness wasn't very good.

    Overall it’s a great hotel to stay at, especially for the price. The only problem I’ve ran into is I left my cloths in the room, and came back to get it and it was gone. So I guess it’s one bad seed that stole my cloths. The owners and staff up front are very good at what they do though and very nice when I stay here. Just that one issue I had

    Its not located in the best area and dining is limited. Water pressure was bad, not very clean, breakfast was cold and not good, TV in room was too small to watch from the beds, ice machine was broke among other things. Will not stay here again.

    It’s so nice finding a hotel that can accommodate 5 people in one room. The sofa bed is a wonderful amenity. There were some old stains on it but nothing a sheet couldn’t cover up. Breakfast was hot with a variety. Pool was open. Our room was fairly clean. Thanks!
