The hotel was having plumbing issues, and there was no hot water. When we informed the front desk at checkout, they said that they were aware, and it was going to be fixed. I wish that they had informed us when we checked in or offered some compensation acknowledging that there was no hot water. We still had to pay full price for the room.

For 3 nights and 3 days, we had no hot water whatsoever. We could not take a shower during the entire stay. It was extremely hot outside and caused us to sweat a lot, it was very uncomfortable not being able to cleann ourselves. This was supposed to be a great weekend as my wife graduated from the University of Virginia with her PhD. But we couldn't enjoy the ceremony or weekend at all because we stunk with body order and were sticky because of the sweat. The hotel called us a week before our stay to inform us they raised the price of our stay to more than $850 for a 3 night stay And because they declared it a special event weekend. Having all other hotels booked up we had no choice but to accept the very overpriced stay. Upon checking in the hotel staff did not tell us of the lack of hot water, we found out from the guest in the next room. We called the hotel front desk and the manager said "they are working on it." We were told that each of the three nights we stayed. The staff took my name, room number and phone number but never honored our request for a major discount. Nor did they offer any discount. We are very disappointed by this. And also the fact that we booked it through expedia makes us angry at Expedia too. We will never stay at that hotel ever again and will likely be very hesitant to book through Expedia every again as our booking through the hotels themselves in the past has been better. IHG and Expedia let us down!!!

The rooms were very nice and the gym was excellent! I didn't expect to have so many weight machines. It was like a health club.

They should replace their intermittently operating coffee system with a couple of urns and make things easier for every one

We booked a two night stay for graduation weekend. There was no hot water in the hotel. I called front desk the first night and was told it was a problem with the entire hotel. This was false. Our friends on the first floor had hot water. We were on the third floor. Second day, I was told it was just a problem that was supposed to be fixed but wasn't yet. The front desk staff took my number for management to contact me. They did not.

Gym looked bigger online, no free weights and there was spider webs everywhere and the tv didn’t work.

The Breakfast was good, a buffet style. There was a good variety and the things that were supposed to be hot, were hot. No complaints

I had a excellent experience. We arrived and our room wasn’t ready yet but the manager Deon was great at making the right accommodations since the room was ready. The hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were very comfortable.

The price on Expedia was $36 cheaper than the lowest price at the hotel. So, I stood to the side of the check-in desk and made a reservation from Expedia.

Very nice staff. Checked in around 12:30am to find no linens in room for pull out couch and had to call to get when we were very tired! Also, hot water went out in room 1/2 way through 1st family members shower. So the rest of us could not shower. Breakfast was very scarce. The room was fine for what we needed but I would not stay there again

We were satisfied with the breakfast since we prepare a lot of home cooked meals. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Poor check-in, the wifi password did not work, the telephone did not work, the breakfast area was not clean, the fridge handle that stored milk and yogurt, and milk was so nasty I had to get a napkin to avoid touching it, and they were very slow to refill, so we left without eating.

Not that important, but the TV service was very difficult for us to figure out. We needed to check about travel conditions and it took us a long time trying to find the weather channel. We couldn't figure out how to get to a specific channel without clicking one channel at a time through all the channels. It was a bit frustrating.

Maintenance was slow. We reported on the first night of our three night stay that the bathroom sink was plugged up and didn't drain right. the carpeting was wet next to the bed by the bathroom wall as well and was also reported. No action was taken during our stay to repair.

We were in town for my son’s wedding. The front desk associate you couldn’t tell if they worked there or if they were a guest. She was very pleasant. The room location was right next to the pantry on the first floor. Very noisy. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Both beds comforters had stains on them. Luckily we brought our own blankets. The bathroom was dingy and the floor looked like it still had urine on it. The shower ceiling looked like it was about to fall through as it had mold or water damage and still looked like it was active.

We had a very long travel day and wanted to get a good night’s rest which we did. As for breakfast we didn’t have the opportunity to take it in. The coffee was fine and so was the orange juice. All in all a fine stay.

This hotel is centrally located for all that we wanted to do, between hiking trails off Skyline Drive to antiquing at the multitude of antique malls and shops in the area. The hotel has been consistently clean, quiet and in very good condition over the several years we have been visiting the area. Management is especially responsive to suggestions and happy to assist guests in any way they can. Kudoes to Jaime for being a wonderful asset!

Omly 2 small complaints: asked for wake-up call' never got it I was awake anyways so it did not matter but I did need to be on the road on time so if I wasn't awake, it would have been a big problem for making my meeting on time. No fruit except apples and oranges at breakfast - no bananas or chunk fruit

The area is nice, but the location sometimes makes it hard to enter the highway. They hotel was clean, but there are not alot of ammenities within the hotel. Dunkin doughnuts is in the parking lot as well as a restaurant, so that helped. It is close to everything with 30 minutes. Breakfast is the normal hotel stuff and wasnt bad.

I booked a hotel room for family coming into town for Thanksgiving and I found it ridiculous and outraging that if you were local to the area the Hotel charged an extra $250 only because you had a local address on your drivers license. The room was paid for through Hotels.com. I rented the room because I was paying for it for my family members. I had three rooms and my card was charged $750 which is supposed to be credited back. But have not seen it yet. Just ridiculous!

Banging in kitchen started and Metal cart that is used to transport breakfast products Up & down a TILE floor with grooves in it. Extremely loud! I booked this hotel for 3 days for a family function. When I asked front desk to please move us? I was told they were booked, kitchen lady was extremely snippy & front desk person was not much better. I asked nicely is someone checked out could We pease be move! Assures it was not going to happen that was was lucky breakfast starts an hour later at 7:00 so I’m lucky the noise would be an hour later. Not what I would expect from A Hilton employee!! I know if it were my hotel I would not want these people there. I can assure there was no attempt from them to be Nice or helpful. Stayed one night at this hotel and it was so quiet and restful! The Fiorana restaurant was a great choice for dinner. Highly recommend both.

Check in was smooth and room was comfortable. Bathroom was dated and needed some repair. Commode seat was cracked and signs of age in the bathroom in corners of tub. There was a family reunion in the area and many stayed at this hotel so lots of kids and hallway noise at night but I travel with white noise maker so not a big problem. I will stay here again if in the area.

Friendly Staff

The hotel was safe and Nicole who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of construction workers staying on the first floor and mud was constantly in the hall and dining area. Breakfast was below average and not attended properly. Nicole had to go find the person in charge of the food to replenish. You night front staff was very rude.

Quiet and relaxing atmosphere with ample free parking. Breakfast was surprisingly very good. Nice to see the departure of individual bottles of bathroom essentials in the room for easily accessible refillable Dove products.

Room had nice amenities - lots of USB ports for charging; night light in the bathroom; coffee maker; breakfast bag for those leaving before breakfast was served. Amy, the person on the front desk, was especially helpful in trying to get me transportation from and to the Charlottesville airport.

The hotel could use some taller signage at the road. It was difficult to find the hotel.

Hidden gem! Easy access to gas station, grocery, and dining. This little complex is self sufficient with gym, restaurant and donut shop. Super clean and very quiet even though it is on a main thoroughfare.
