Exceptional

Hotel is in need of repairs and deep cleaning. Toilet in our room rocked side to side. Door frames in bathroom falling off. Carpets not clean. Never got service to room-no towels on second day.. room 302 Description states indoor pool/but outside-not open

Pool was closed for maintenance for all 3 days of our stay..in upper 80 temperatures. Room smelled a little musty. Outside lobby smelled of moth balls. Appreciated the complimentary laundry.

Room was dirty. Sheets and towels were dirty. We got new ones at front desk. Problem solved.

Although they did give us additional points the disappointment of our child each day waiting to swim made our stay less than steller.

May 2025 was wonderful. The hotel clerk was friendly, helpful, and checked us in as soon as our room was ready. The room was spacious, full kitchen use, a very nice table counter for the both of us to use our laptops. The TV was a great size to view from living room or kitchen area. Our bedroom was roomy, the bed was comfortable and nice to have a tv there as well. Our bedroom was separate from the living room. The bathroom was ok, a little small but not an issue. The only thing was the a/c made a loud humming noise but the comfort of the bed helped us sleep through the night. All-in-all, this was an excellent hotel. Thank you Staybridge! Oh the breakfast buffet was delicious and it served hot oatmeal. In the afternoon we were treated with wine and snacks and sodas!

Property was so duty and smell terrible, I barely couldn't sleep.

Was an old property, the comforter had a couple of 1 to 2 inch bloodstains on it. they did change it out for us, but it should have been discarded instead of being washed, dried and put back into circulation. Phone didn't work and the chair and ottoman were coming apart at seems, but you could tell it was from its age. Staff was friendly, just wouldn't stay there again.

Location. Out 10-12 minutes from the more expensive Kalahari - where our conference was held. Also the two double beds and one queen bed room layout with kitchenette was great for our longer stay business travels. Food wasn’t that great. Too, the pillows were way too soft. I had neck problems the entire week of my stay for a business conference.

The hotel rooms are spacious, charming, and clean,we had a truly wonderful stay, and the breakfast was fantastic absolutely delicious. It featured yogurt, various types of cereals, eggs, pancakes, waffles, juices, and plenty of other tasty options. The only things that weren't, let's say, 100% perfect were the elevator which was a bit dated the slightly noisy air conditioning, and a sofa that had been slightly scratched by pets, given that the hotel is pet-friendly. Nevertheless, it comes 100% recommended, and we will definitely be back.

The room didn’t have enough bedding, half of the outlets didn’t work, lamps flickered, and it don’t seem fully clean. The staff was kind, but it didn’t seem as though they were fully prepared or expecting us.

Staff was very helpful and got us checked in two hours early. The downside was the room didn’t feel super clean and there were some hairs in the shower. The beds were extremely comfortable and were the best part of the room. Room stayed nice and cool the entire time. The free breakfast was a great perk.

Everything. I could not stay at the hotel for so many reasons; First they gave me different room from what I booked, secondly, there elevator was not working. I had my mum with me that can not go up the stairs, even if there is another room

We found a e cigarette that was not out on the side of the bed. No towels to wash our body and the towels to dry our bodies were all stained with yellow spots. We booked and we had confirmed to check in past midnight and the property cancelled our reservation on Christmas . We were in Austin with our dogs and had no place to stay and slept in our vehicle with 3 dogs and there to celebrate Christmas and no where to keep our animals and could t leave them in a vehicle and literally missed Christmas due to no place to stay . The staff would not accommodate our reservation and did not have any issue not honoring our booking . We had confirmed pay when arrive and had our confirmation to check in after midnight and instead they didn’t care Christmas and cancelled our booking we had made two weeks prior . We were told well it’s our hotel policy . So maybe u all need to tell guests this instead of confirming different than what occurred .

The room was very musty because housekeeping did not show up to empty the trash, clean or vacuum we had to tell them to come in and empty the trash after we had been out the whole day. I liked my room, you can tell it has a had an makeover. Reasonable price for the 1 bedroom suite I had. The main areas; front lobby, breakfast area & halls felt very gloomy. Needs to be brighter with more natural lighting.

It was gross. Dead roaches. Dirty bathroom. Smelly. Me and my family didn’t want to consume breakfast from there because our room just had roaches. Just not worth the $300 I spent on it. I kinda want my money back.

However, I encountered some challenges with getting fresh towels. It seemed challenging to get a towel per traveler and that was inconvenient. Additionally, the bar was closed during my visit, and the social hour felt lacking, as it was just a makeshift setup with drinks from an ice chest. Still relaxing to sit in the dining room. Overall, while the friendly staff and free laundry were highlights, the towel situation and bar closure were notable downsides. I hope these aspects improve for future guests.

Bathroom was not clean upon arrival. There was standing water in the tub, and the shower dripped non stop. Mold visible around the shower knobs.

I was planning to stay for five nights at Staybridge , but the room that was assigned to me smelled like they never washed the sheets the pillows also smelled men sweat, when I realized all these it was midnight so I had to stay the night in a dirty bed. Clean room, very friendly staff. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils. The breakfast and social hour had a variety of options. As a vegetarian, I had no issues creating a plate daily. The outside area (grill, pool, patio) was a pleasant area to unwind in the evenings.

I didn't think I'd be surprised because I read other reviews that stated the property was outdated, the furniture was worn, etc. But the price was really good, so we decided to give it a try. The living room furniture in our 2-bedroom suite was very worn (excessive fraying on the edges), and the cleanliness was questionable (we found multiple hairs in the bathroom and our room had a very musty smell), but we were only staying one night, so we decided to stick it out. Everything was "ok" until we pulled the covers back on the bed and found burn holes and ash stains on the sheets. We left as soon as possible the next morning.

We weren’t able to stay here. When we walked into the room, there were German roaches everywhere. The man at the front desk didn’t give us any problems about refunding our money.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Common areas—lobby, stairway, elevator—were kinda gross and dirty. Room was ok, tho the bathroom door was dirty and the place was rather beat up. It looked like the housekeeper was trying to do her best with the poorly maintained space she was given.

We got a 2 bedroom suite with the kitchen and 2 restrooms. It was for myself my sister and mom .We loved it it was so spacious . This is the second time in 7 days and I’ll be back next week!

We showed up the staff was friendly..the check in process was simple and we were given our key room. We got our luggage out from our vehicle and then worked our way over to the elevator..the halls were muggy and hot, the elevator had just been freshly painted so the stinch of the smell of paint nearly left me with a headache. We got in to our room and i think the only thing that bugged me about the room was the couch...the arm rest was all scratched and ripped up as if someone with a cat had stayed there and destroyed it. Other than that I think the cleanliness of the room was good. For breakfast they serve a buffet with a good variety of different options which i though was awesome! Its like everything outside of our room did not have AC running because just as the halls the whole seated area where they serve the breakfast buffet was muggy and hot. I felt myself rushing to eat breakfast just so i could get back upstairs to the AC. This hotel can use some love and care, some AC out in the halls and maybe some renovations but other than that...it gave me and my family a place to sleep for two nights...so cant complain. Will I recommend the hotel to family and friends...probably not.

The first room was muggy, dirty, and smelled putrid, with hair, stains, and even a massive blood stain on the mattress. The second room had an actual bug crawling on the bed. After complaining, we were bounced from room to room, inspecting more than seven in total, and every single one was a nightmare—filthy linens, mattresses reeking of rot, and one mattress so badly stained it literally looked like a corpse had decomposed in it. This wasn’t an isolated issue but a clear pattern of neglect and filth throughout the entire property. To make it worse, I overheard housekeeping telling the front desk, “they can’t be looking at all the rooms like that,” which proves they know exactly how disgusting this place is and are simply trying to cover it up. This is not just bad service—it’s dangerous, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. The Staybridge Suites Round Rock is a disgrace to the IHG brand, a breeding ground for disease, and an insult to anyone unfortunate enough to book here. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay in this dump.

This property is pathetic, not cleanliness, very old building and very old items outside in main pathway and everything is old inside the room. Bedroom, Couch and Dining chairs are very old. No proper water flush out in bathrooms and latches in rooms are very old. Overall it’s not even worth for the money you pay, it’s disgusting and even motel is better. Breakfast is kind of motel breakfast and few items are there, not good food, utensils are not cleaned properly and old. PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS SPECIFIC HOTEL…

The staff was super friendly when it came to checking-in! However, we found TWO cockroaches on seperate occasions during our stay. The first night when we checked in, there was one in the bathroom. Since we had arrived late at night and we were only staying one night we decided to thoug it out. The following morning we found another cockroach in the same place we found the first one. Not only this, but as we showered on of my friends saw pieces of the ceiling fall during their shower. Some even landed on his head. The hotel looks nice but it is cockroach infested and falling apart.

I didn’t actually care about the refund, more so getting my babies out of there before they got sick. When I told the front desk, he acted like I was lying, he said he just sprayed and they don’t have roaches. But they do, I took pictures and everything. If you’re seeing more than one live German roach during an hour, that means there is a heavy infestation in the building. Let’s not normalize letting hotels get away with roaches that cause allergic reactions and spread of disease FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IT IS NOT NORMAL AND IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD PLEASE REVIEW AND REPORT IT!!!! The refrigerator door wouldn’t close the seal wasn’t working so our stuff was t cold. Finally I put a trashcan in front of it but having 2 little kids they kept moving it. We came for a week to visit my stepkids we picked this hotel cause the pool and the bbq pit. We asked upon arrival about bbq pit they stated let us know when your ready and we will turn the gas on. So we went to buy a whole bunch of meat went to grill and both grills didn’t work! Then we did laundry only one washer worked and we had to dry them for a long time for them to actually be dried!

The room smelled a lot like cigarettes, and it gave me a headache. Only one washer was working out of the four. It was very inconvenient.

The hotel and staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was great! Some areas of hotel were bit dirty, but more due to poor tenants than the hotel staff. It was just hard to keep up with the nesses being made.

The elevator and stairway was dirty, seen like someone came through with mud on there feet but it wasn’t clean for the time I was there which it should’ve been cleaned, the breakfast was mid , my room was clean I was able to check in early and the ladies at the front desk were really nice

I loved that there was a kitchen in the room and that we had three beds and a pull out bed instead of just 2 beds and a pull out bed like previous hotels that my family has stayed at. Also Master bedroom (the one with the queen bed) didnt have a tv in it so my husband and I slept in a double bed so we could watch tv at night.

Long wait to check in. There is no A/C in the hallways of the hotel. The elevator needs attention.. unclean and takes forever to move 3 floors.

First room was not what I booked, but they swore to it, we had to switch rooms anyway bc the maintenance was drilling and it was loud. Second room was used urine in the toilet, trash and bowls everywhere and bed was used. Also not the room I booked. No problems with the third room it was actually the room I booked. They take a $50 deposit and I booked on the 13th but the statement on my card says 6/26/25 not sure why they need to hold for that long.

We loved the room! We were super that the breakfast didn’t start until 7:30. We had to be gone by 7:00.

The hotel needs to be updated. Our toilet kept running and the tub filled with water while we showered as it was stopped up. It wasn’t dirty but not COMPLETELY clean

Area was fine, night staff was fantastic. Didn’t interact with day staff at all. Breakfast was subpar, nothing was restocked, couldn’t find anyone to help, etc,. Room had several cosmetic things that were bordering on falling apart. Otherwise ok stay.

The hotel was very nice for us. We took my older mom with us and had a two bedroom suite which was great for our travel needs. Very comfortable and convenient area with lots of restaurants nearby.

The pictures don’t do justice. The rooms are much nicer than the pictures showed. They are also huge!! Only one complaint the water pressure at least on the 4th floor not so good.

Hot water was not working

Stayed for 4 nights. Property was clean and comfy. Bed was comfortable. Had everything one would need for a short stay. Kitchen tools could be updated. Stayed in an accessible room because that’s all was available. Room was noisy and cold (even with heat on) there was a huge heating/cooling system in closet. Bathroom was big but could use some shelving in the shower area. Staff was friendly and accommodating. And had morning breakfast which was great for grab and go. Overall, had a great stay and would stay again if needed.

Great place for the money

Room was unlivable. Bedroom flooded so bad it splashed with every step. Fridge went out. Was over booked so we couldn’t be moved. Maintenance couldn’t come until the next day, and even after both broke again. Property manager is very rude and refused to give any sort of refund. Letty at the front desk was very nice and empathetic though.

The drink machine at breakfast is broken and staff act like it’s just going to stay that way. Can’t get housekeeping with a three night stay ans towels are apparently lost and when asked about it everyone passes it off as if it’s the customers fault. Pathetic excuse for a hotel.

The property and the building looks new on the outside, but it looks lot older on the inside and it’s smelly. We stayed there for three days and somebody had puked at the stairs and nobody seems to clean that up. Our room was smelly and partially renovated with paint only.

I arrived on a Friday afternoon entered my room and found roaches in my room when I went to notify the clerk in the front desk he said “you brought food that’s why you have roaches” (I had just arrived and the clerked blamed me..) he then gave me two cans a RAID for me to spray in the room then he sent me on my way like who does that I requested a new room he wasn’t very happy. When asked about the outside amenities his response was they don’t work when we purchased the hotel we only keep up with the pool. This was one of my worst experience in a hotel I will not be staying in this hotel again. Save your money this hotel I do not recommend!! If I could give it negative stars I would!!

The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very nice! However the condition of the hotel is lacking. The hotel is in need of a serious remodel. The pictures in no way represent the condition of the hotel. Everything was reasonably clean But molding was missing, torn off with exposed shards left etc. In general it just was not what I was expecting based on the reviews.

We found a box of condoms under our bed made me think twice of the bed sheets if room service even changed them worst experience ever!!! Having to explain to my daughters what was that box!!

We reserved this room months in advance. Checked into a room with no heat, no remotes and no bedding on the futon. We had 8 people in our party. Not happy. Will not reserve from there again!

Poor experience overall. A homeless man was wondering the halls the first night. The side door was consistently propped open despite alerting the front desk. We only got clean towels by going to the desk and asking. We never received maid service, even after asking. The laundry ( all washers and dryers) were broken the entire stay. Gym equipment was broken

Misleading breakfast times once you arrive. Our team didn’t get to eat Saturday morning. We had to speak to a manager and Sunday they did.

We visited this location with our 5 kids, one of which is disabled. Our disabled son was so excited about our new hotel room because we splurged and got a 2 bedroom suite he jumped up and down. Within 10 mins from being in our room the “manager” was at our door saying she got a noise complaint and that we needed to control our kids. I stated “so you want my disabled son to stop being disabled?” And she replied “yes ma’am” I’m disgusted by our treatment, within minutes of her leaving the guest that complained came and knocked on our door and apologized saying he didn’t know she was going to be so rude to us. I’m disgusted by this place and was unaware it wasn’t a safe environment for people with disabilities. The bathroom was unclean with a used towel hanging and hair in shower. We will never return

No cash or bills for several days in the till. Unable to make a purchase at The Pantry market because staff could not cash a $20.00 bill for four days.

We were there for only one night. I noticed in the am we were all freezing cold and heater never came on. I even tried to put it on 85/90 hear and nothing it always went back to 65 cold. I wa notified maintenance doesn’t work weekends there. My daughter said here shower was cold and no hot water in her shower area. My shower was like warm at best. This hotel is nice, but I think my daughter got sick because the room was freezing cold all night. I notified the property front desk clerk and am waiting to hear from someone. I would love at the very least some compensation.

This property was very dirty and not maintained well at all. The staff was nice enough but not friendly. Unfortunately, I feel the staff was overworked as the same front desk staff was there for the 14 hours we were. We took the hit and left a day early and went to another hotel, actually a different, well maintained Staybridge Suites in Cedar Park.

The closet door was removed and the AC was exposed, The TV in the bedroom was visibly ripped from the wall in the bedroom, The room, as well as, the hotel had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, and last but not least, he was put on the bottom floor with curtains that were see through/Sheer. You could see through the windows from the outside in the living area and the bedroom. I asked him to get his things and check out. I secured another room at another hotel. This is what you are paying for when you book at this hotel.

As soon as you walked and to the lobby you are hit with a pungent smell of mothballs. The front service guy did not even acknowledge when we walked in . ( He was helping another guy) a few minutes went by and he looked right pass me and address the man behind me. We got checked in and made our way to the elevator there was a spilled soda and the floor was sticky. We had to watch where we placed our luggage. Made it to our room and guess what, our room smelled of mothballs to the point of making my eyes water . Towels also smelled of this. Toilet seat was loose and sliding on off the bowl. Armrest on the office chair broken. Door to the AC rattled throughout the night. Next morning we were heading out and the elevator floor was still sticky but the cup had been picked up. Breakfast was decent . I had to get something out of my suit case when we got to the car and ALL OF MY CLOTHES smelled of that horrible smell ….. Needless to stay not the best stay and will not be staying at this facility in the future.

Terrible breakfast, no eggs the casserole was empty, no bacon, bread toaster doesn’t work it burns half of the bread, the waffle machine dispenser is so low that a line that you have to wait on the lo for 15 min, and the orange juice tastes only water.

Someone was given a key to mine and my husbands room and we were awoken at 12:36 am

1st room we received had a broken a/c unit and was extremely hot. Asked for another room and the a/c unit would not go below 78 degrees and in Texas summer heat that's way too hot let alone night time trying to sleep. Shower curtain was held up with rickety screws and almost fell down several times while trying to shower. So we just left and had to book another hotel down the street rather than try a 3rd room at this place.

Perfect hotel if you like to find dead bugs (roaches, crickets and small bugs possibly bed bugs) all under the bed and in the closet. Elevator was out for 3 days and probably still is. We also found hair and nail clippings on the floor which is a sign they don’t do basic housekeeping like vacuuming from the previous stay. They have complimentary laundry services but only one dryer out of the 3 work. Overall this was a terrible pick.

The property had easy access to local eateries, downtown area, plus was very polite and courteous.

This property is not very clean and dated. The lock was not working properly, there were stains on the sheets and walls had guck on it. The air conditioner was loud and room smelt musty.

Great stay. Room AC was killing it staying nice and cold! Staff very friendly. Saltwater pool was perfect temp. Rooms were clean. 2 bedroom suites are perfect for families.

Just needed a stop over for a college visit road trip; looked for something prior to Austin traffic onslaught; had everything we needed and the pool was immaculate but could tell by the rooms the property was older and in need of renovations and repair; room had an odor like it had previously allowed smoking; staff was friendly

It is a true value for money and the only thing I will recommend is to upgrade the television in the rooms.

The room was dirty , corners looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. The bathroom had paint peeling and the shower did not look recently cleaned. The breakfast was also very limited and not well stocked or replenished. They ran out of outdoor towels for the pool and patio area looked unkept.

Very unsafe. The front desk lady gave us keys to three different rooms and wasn’t sure if any of them had people in them and just wanted us to go up and check. There was also people sleeping on the couch in the lobby. Very strange.

Property was in good shape but the room wasnt so good...got a king suite because we wanted to be able to close doors and have our own space but the doors were missing and the carpet was sticky...shoes on 100% of the time...the sheets on the king bed were horribly stained and need to be thrown away

The gym had three pieces of equipment and none of these worked. The room was very loud in the hall and in the room above us.

I don't mind the pets, but if your bringing a pet. Please be respectful to others. We come to rest, not hear a yapping dog. We use the same walking areas. Please clean up after your pets and if your dog pees in the elevator. Clean it. Also, lots of wasp nest near widows. Hallway smelled moldy, back stairway smelled of smoke. Breakfast maybe could be longer till 10:30. During the week. I didnt have a chance to try their breakfast. Also on my floor, i just had a yappy small dog that would just yap all day.

Tim, the front desk person, was so amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed. Facility was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh! Our only complaint was that they didn't have many king 2 bedroom suites.

When we get in the elevator, it was just very dirty with old liquid running down walls. Landing on our floor, the smell was awful. We go to open our door and can’t get in. We go back downstairs where they tell us to open our door the opposite way. That already gave me off vibes because I shouldn’t have to turn the knob “upwards” to get in. Walking into the room, there was tape on the ceilings that looked like a previous party was held. The bed skirt was 1/2 way off the bed and just a complete mess. There were stains on the walls and just looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. I called corporate and told them I could not stay at this hotel and needed a refund. They directed me to go downstairs and speak to the front desk. I will say I can’t say enough nice things about how they handled the situation. They were understanding and did not give me any issue with how I felt. They def put the customer first in this situation. I advise that you truly read the reviews (because I didn’t) before you book this hotel. I paid almost $400 for two nights and for that amount of money, I wasn’t expecting what I got. This hotel is in condition to pay maybe $80 per night. Really read the reviews!!!!
