Bathroom was rusty and the room the corridors the elevator super dirty when I saw the reviews I thought they were exaggerated but I checked the whole hotel super dirty I wouldn't go back

My son woke up covered in bites. We found bed bugs in the pull out bed. He is miserable.

Terrible toilet seat, and he breakfast was limited.

Staff, bed and breakfast were great. Would definitely stay here again. Close to Heart hospital which was very convenient.

It was mediocre. The orange juice was very watery and the staff did not speak English, when I asked her to address it. The potatoes were not cooked and were still hard when I attempted to spear one with a fork. The fork was the cheapest that can be purchased. The tines bent when used on even an omelette.

The staff is very unfriendly. I forgot my toothbrush and a hairbrush, they don’t carry things that a traveler may need as most hotels do. The staff was unfriendly. I see why the Holiday Inn (next door) their parking lot was full while this one was empty.

The breakfast was excellent! The only thing that was unsatisfying was the fact that I had to get 3 sets of keys before the attendant finally came and unlocked our door to get in after midnight.

Sai was a very rude receptionist (night time), had his feet kicked up on lobby chairs & took him just 10 mins to get to us. Also was rude upon arrival was giving issues with ID that made no sense. Credit card & ID matched from beginning. Inserted a different CC as I wanted to get points & made process of verification happen all over. Then finally on getting to the room, it was filth, AC wasn’t blowing cold air. Asked to be changed said they would inform me , never heard back. Restroom was filthy & rusted. They also had a bunch of broken things all over the room. Pull out bed might have been built with the hotel as of how old & uncomfortable it was. Squeaky bed springs & stained sheets in closet. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free.

Staff was very friendly . Breakfast was good spread of items . If I would change anything it may be more lighting around pool , it was preety dark for my younger boys. Overall stay was well worth it and will for sure stay again when in Round Rock. We were down for a 7v7 football tournament and had a great time Just the lighting at the pool , more of a safety concern . Overall great job !

I said our room was clean “for the most part” because the bathroom was not. It was extra small so I’m sure it is hard to clean. Hard to turn around in because it’s so small, no way to get proper mops and such in there. The baseboards were dirty. Behind the door was extra dirty in the corners. Behind the tiny toilet it was very dirty. The toilet and seat were extra small and very low to the ground. The bathtub fixture was rusty. The bathroom door was rusty. Good news, the water was nice and plenty hot the entire time - nice. The toilet and tub were clean it was just the floor and the door and the extreme smallness of the bathroom in this two queen SUITE! The vanity was outside the bathroom so there is ample room for one person to get ready in the mirror even though it was very poor lighting. It sounds bad but it was only the bathroom that was disappointing. I truly would consider staying again if I get to take a peek at the room first.

This is a hazard that should not hapoen because of a contract dispute. Patrons would have to walk all the floors with their luggage due to an elevator issue . This is dangerous someone at a higher Hotel mgmt should get this resolved. Unsatisfactory.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it very convenient for getting around. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience felt cheap; food was served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, and the hot items were only lukewarm. While the rooms are a good size, the AC unit is extremely loud-we had to choose between a quiet room that was too hot or a cool room that was too noisy to sleep in. Also, the bathroom layout is cramped; the door is so close to the toilet that moving in and out is quite awkward.

We paid for a King Suite and a 2 Queen bed /sofa bed suite , The bed that was supposed to be king ended up being a queen And we had to switch rooms for the 2 Queen bed /sofa bed suite to another room due to the whole room reaping of mildew , the lady in the front office tried to help but also had a remark after saying some thing helpful , which was not right at at all . We went 3 different times for breakfast and was empty each time except for oatmeal and some orange juice , we will not be coming back to this hotel

Location was good and beds were comfortable. The tube was dirty. The room did not feel clean, the carpet floors were grimy/sticky. We asked the cleaning lady to come back in and she brought a dry towel without any product to wipe down the tub. Gross.

I was disappointed with the the breakfast a little. Cause when stayed at a Holiday Express Inn in Ohio, the breakfast had biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs but this one had sausage, white egg omelet diced potatoes. They had the Cinnamon rolls. A+

Our stay was perfect. Last minute booking and for the price the rooms weren’t bad. The microwave and some buttons on the remote weren’t working but when we called to let them know, they offered to bring us a new one. We didnt need it anymore, so we let them know it was ok. Just didn’t wanna get charged for it. Other than that, the customer service was great and the breakfast was perfect as well.

The lobby was okay, but the halls and carpet were so dated and dirty. The bathroom in our room had rust and moldy grout. The hotel was quiet, but beyond that I’d never stay there again. The mattresses were lumpy.

Great location and nice that breakfast was included. Hotel is older and does need some upgrades but was very clean. Had to ask for linens for the pull out sofa. Very thin walls so could hear some kids at night. Overall good stay for a quick over night trip.

Arrived at 9pm, Friday night. The front desk lady told us that it's over booked. She can not do anything about it. I asked her to send us to another hotel, she said she can not do it. She also called and talk to the owner/general manager of the hotel. No solution either. I asked to talk to the general manager. She gave me a business card and want me to call or email him. Come on, it's 9pm already. I tried to call, but no one answered. Send an email? For what? I asked her to call the general manager and let me talk to him but she said she can not use her personal phone to let me talk to him and she also can not use hotel phone to call him. She also said the general manager won't talk to us or any customer. What kind of hotel it is? Holiday Inn Express??? Hello, any body there!!! Worse than Motel 6. There were roaches in our room, and we ended up not staying the last night and moved to another hotel. The front desk people were not very friendly when I asked a question. Listening to AirPods seemed more important. I will not go back here.

I experienced a loud, stress noise that came from behind the wall every 2 hours throughout the early morning hours and was originally assigned a room that had a broken TV remote and air conditioner. To add misery to my overnight stay, I was evacuated from the building a half an hour before checkout and rushed to dress for the day when a problematic smoke alarm triggered a mess within the hotel. Once the all-clear was issued and people were returned to their rooms, it happened again!! UGH!

The 2 girls at the front wasnt very friendly and kinda of snotting. And was trying to call almost half the mornign to ask a few questions and no answer.

I was only at the property for less than 20 minutes had to check out because first room had roaches and the second room had a wet musty smell and trying to get a refund because I had to book another hotel room which costed me more money very unsatisfied.

The shower had rust coming out of the socket. Made us very uncomfortable.

It was a good stay I think the property needs to be updated. The staff kept it wonderfully clean but they can’t do anything about rust on the fixtures or peeling countertops. The staff was very kind and helpful, overall I enjoyed my stay.

The room seemed clean, but there was big dead bug behind the door. Also the hardy in bathtub was rusty and there was a terrible patch job in the bathtub . Room smelled musty, like it needed some clorox or lysol.

I can say I felt 100% confident booking at this particular hotel due to its positive reputation and previous stays in various cities and states for travel. But this specific location comes highly disappointing! The lady who did my check in was very out of touch with reality sounded like a robot and walked around in house shoes (unprofessional). Then when I got to my room on the surface it was ok, but once I had a chance to really look at things I found mold in the restroom and in the tub. The carpet was nasty and the refrigerator worked when it wanted to. Because I brought food with me this was an important feature for me. When I took it the receptionist she tried another room and as soon as she opened the door it reeked of sitting mold. The breakfast was the only good thing was the breakfast it was nice and clean. Other than that I wouldn’t stay in something so filthy again. I will say I believe it was the manager who asked how my stay was and apologize for it not being up to par and how my play was not a pleasant one.

This hotel is NOTHING like the pictures! It is absolutely disgusting and filthy! I just checked in after a long flight from Washington..Sat down and unraveled my whataburger and a cockroach flew right onto it. The sink and tub has pink mildew, extremely dusty and outdated. Please save your money for somewhere else! I asked for a refund, even Expedia called but the front desk kept saying his boss isn’t there to authorized it and even if he was, he would probably just give me a discount. He offered me a new room but let’s be fore reals, I am traumatized! And the manager refused a refund considering I never stayed at this roach motel! PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!!

The AC did not cool properly and the room phone did not work. I tried calling the front desk from my cell phone at night to report the ac but no answer. I tried again in the morning, 5 times, to report the guests above us were literally jumping at 7am, but again no answer. I approached the front desk during breakfast to ask if I was calling the correct #. The clerk asks me to call the # to try it out. He confirms right infront of me, that the front desk phone was ON SILENT still at 10am. I found this to be a very poor sign of their customer service. I did speak to the manager, who was very apologetic, but that was not a good look.

Easy location off the highway. We stay here often when visiting the grandkids nearby in round rock. Great value!

This hotel needs updating. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the paint and wallpaper is coming off. The bathroom needs some Sheetrock work. The room itself was clean, but the paint needed to be done. The elevator inside was torn up. The breakfast had no biscuits or gravy, as other HIE hotels have had. They had no drinking water at breakfast. When we were leaving there was no ice in the ice machine.

The facts that they have medium size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion was a huge plus for me.

Very nice and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff was very nice.

The rooms were old but clean. We were disappointed to find that the pool was closed the duration of our stay due to a broken pump. We were not told this upon arrival but learned about it when we couldn’t access the pool. This was disappointing to us.

Wall are thin you can hear everything, I was put by the exit door so I could not sleep because I could hear the door everytime it was closed

The check-in was easy with great customer service. The beds slept well and the breakfast was great. I will be back for another day.

Caked mud on floor in lobby, elevator, breakfast area, and first floor hallway. Mud was there when I checked in and still there the next morning. Check in was very slow. First assigned to room that wasn’t ready, then assigned another room but key card didn’t work. Finally on the third attempt I was able to get into a room. Person at desk attempted to charge me for the room when I had already paid Expedia. IHG should close this property.

My stay was good but I was cold the whole night. The heater never cut on.

I was charged $50.00 for an incidental charge and still have not received a refund for that charge and we did not buy anything or damage anything while we were there.

Good hotel, suites my needs very well. Room was spacious with a foldout couch, microwave, fridge, desk and, of course, a king size bed. It was very much an efficiency apartment. The only real knock on the hotel was a few little bugs on the bathroom sink. From a Google search they appear to be a harmless little insect that feeds on fungi. I’d probably recommend an exterminator.

Just one thing, we asked for handicap accessible toilets and the shower did not have a seat for my wife to sit on while taking a shower. Plus the toilet area was quite small!

The staff kept the hotel very clean and the room was very comfortable! We will return!

Friendly staff, great location and comfortable rooms. Bathroom was not super clean in bathtub edges, floor corners, behind the open door, around edges of bed, beside couch and window area. Needs more floor and counter attention to general daily cleaning and between guests. Bathroom showed signs of needing attention for clean caulking as well.

Good hotel good location

Definitely was not up to expectations. Breakfast was the best part for us. While not visibly dirty, our feet were disgusting after walking on the floor in our room. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Room didn’t cool down until middle of the night. This location seemed really subpar compared to other HIE’s I have stayed in. Elevator was SKETCHY and only one out of two works. I can’t help but to be disappointed.

Some items on the breakfast buffet were cold or just warm. Other than that the staff was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. Check in and out was quick and easy. I would recommend the hotel just work on the hot plate temperature.

i’ve been staying in this area for business for the last year. This is my first time choosing this specific location. The facility needs upgraded. It was very dirty coming in the doors. The first room I got checked into the air conditioner was not working properly. the second room they put me in was on the first floor, which was closest to the restaurants. It got very noisy. The workout facility was tiny and very limited in the equipment that was available. I can go on and on, but I would not recommend this particular location .

My biggest concern was crickets. There were multiple crickets. There sound was annoying. Hopefully they will do pest control. Beds were good. Location was good.

The hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious !!!but I didn't like the pool because it was outside the hotel but almost everything was perfect and my kids loved it.!!

The place was conveniently located near a restaurant and gas station. While I did not like being on the first floor (my kids love being on the top floor), I did enjoy the continental breakfast, although the coffee could be better. The pool was nice too, but there is no shade in this heat/drought conditions at the time of my visit.

Location was good and the customer service was great as well. The big negative is that the facility has a mildew/wet smell. It hits you soon as you walk in the lobby, it strong. I had to purchase two candles just to keep the room smelling a little bit decent. The facility just doesn’t seem well taken care of.

Not like other Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed a far as cleanliness goes.

Hotel looks new on the exterior, rooms looked fairly new, lobby looked new, getting off the elevator on to the 2nd floor hallway looked like an old building that had carpet and paint slapped on it. Overall it was fine.

We stayed for the Two Step Inn festival. It was a nice hotel and close to several good restaurants

The staff was nice and helpful. The coffee was old and the room had a weird smell.

The rooms had a very musty smell as well as the hallways. The breakfast was pretty good, and the ataff was friendly. My room could definitely have used some repairs

We started off in one room, and with the loud music and work crew making noise outside we asked to move! Moved to a new room, it had an awful smell and found bugs in the room! The bathroom dirty! Rusty and yellow around the shower Hallway smelled like marijuana. The hotel was run down, just looked gross! The front desk staff from both that evening and next morning was amazing! And Really tried to accommodate us!

Close to many restaurants within walking distance. Beds are comfortable. Only complaint is some much needed upgrades are warranted. Bathroom was not great. Patchwork done on walls and tub and so old it wasn’t clean.

The staff was nice and check in and out very simple. Hotel was a bit dated and beds were not super comfortable but enough for a one night stay. Temp in the room was a bit humid. I’d stay again if needed for a night but not longer than that.

Faucet in shower did not work very well, mold in corner of room 106. no chairs to sit on in room, poor lighting, no grab bar in shower/tub to hold on to during shower. Staff very friendly, helpful and responsive. good breakfast.

Ice machine was broken and my king was converted to two queens.

This was a really nice place. The Cracker Barrel is across the parking lot within walking distance. Very easy to get in and out of the parking lot along the frontage road. Cordial service. Clean room.

Property is in need of TLC. Hallways have a bad odor. Bathroom in the room had cracks all in walls, broke tiles and dirty.

For $550 for three nights , there are better options.

Clean and comfortable. Carpet in room is worn with holes in it but overall we had a good stay.
