Aloft by Marriott Austin Round Rock

The AC in our first room was leaking water onto the floor; so we called the front desk to report the issue. They were able to move us to another room without issue. The rooms are small, but okay for the most part. The bed was comfy, allowing for a good night's rest and the staff was friendly. Overall our stay here was good.

Building was pretty beat up. Bathroom tub wasn't clean. BUT the bed was phenomenal and the nook area in the room was adorable.

The room is kind of cool. The pool was older, but still a pool. It was nice to have the bar area to hang out in. Just wish they had a complementary breakfast

The location was great, staff super friendly, and the lobby was clean Lobby market was bare of food and drinks, what they did offer was expensive. But worst of all was the condition of the room. It seems clean and new but there were a lot of broken items in the room. The shower head was broken, the automatic blinds broke so we were forced to have our window open the whole time there. But what made us not want to stay there was the air conditioner in the room. Even when set at the lowest setting (65) the room stayed at 78 degrees. On a HOT Texas day/ night it was hard to feel comfortable in the room but most of all it was hard to sleep. Super hot and uncomfortable night.

The location I’ve stayed here several times and it seemed like the quality of the stay has dropped significantly.

The Aloft Round Rock was a very comfortable and clean room. The room is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I like that the room has several easily accessible, charging ports for phones and devices. I had a very nice big shower with toiletries that actually smell and feel good. The Air conditioner worked amazing. It was very conveniently located quick access to shopping and dining options. I would definitely stay here again.

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful to me as I was having annunciation issues at the time of my visit. I was also having mobility issues and she time so she was kind enough to help me out with bringing me a shower chair to my room then I realized that I didn’t have any towels and walla!?! There was a stack of towels in my room before I could turn around ( gosh, I wish that I would have been able to have gotten her name but with my requests it just didn’t seem appropriate for me to do so. She is a keeper and I will continue to come back to Aloft round rock as long as she is still working there!

The hotel was well kept and clean. One thing was the walk-in shower floor was scratched up, which could have easily been repaired or repainted over.

I have very few negative things to say about my stay at the Aloft. It was basically a stay-cation for me so I will DEFINITELY be back. The lobby area is very classy and modern. They had alot of children there during my stay and ofcourse they wanted to be in the pool. I appreciated the seperate patio/ bar area to sit outside to have a drink. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any questions I had. The rooms were very cute. I had a king suite and it was equipped with a litte fridge as well as a safe and coffee maker. I loved the blackout drapes. The bed was SO comfortable I slept so well while I was there! I didn't like the fact that I purchased breakfast with my stay and expected- IDK - something different. I am not sure if it was because it was the weekend. There is a menu posted with maybe 5-6 options that includes mostly prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, egg bites, and bagels. I believe the only prepared item on the menu was a chorizo and egg burrito. I did get it both days because it was cooked when ordered. It was pretty good though. I just wish they would let you know that paying extra for breakfast is a bit misleading since there isn't actually ''a breakfast''. It's actually a small menu that you can choose items from and either eat in the lobby or take back to your room. My limit was $20 and each item was $5 - $10. This isn't terrible I guess - just a bit misleading. Also, my only other complaint is one - ply toilet tissue. A hotel who offers in shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash I think can offer better than 1-ply toilet tissue. I mean... come on.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in for years. Stains all over the walls, broken door lock that staff warned me about, holes in the wall, pillows that smelled like sweat, cracked and moldy shower with broken faucet handle, rusty table.

Clean room and quiet/relaxing during my stay

The room was clean with a modern look and feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. I plan to stay here again when I come back to visit family.

We did not take advantage of any amenities or the breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very clean & modern hotel. Food available on-site for a cost. Between this hotel & the adjacent one, there are multiple electric vehicle chargers - unfortunately, several of them did not work. But, when we were able to get plugged in, it was very helpful. Staff was friendly & helpful when we needed to extend our stay an extra day.

Easy checkin and checkout. Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and more spacious than other Alofts. I was able to checkin early. The lobby area was showing wear. Fabric on couch was stained and needs update. Bar service available at sister property adjacent to Aloft when I returned around 10:30pm.. No self service bar area. Parking was fine.

The lobby area was very nice and we were greeted by the front desk staff immediately! She was wonderful and welcoming. She told us about all the amenities and sent us on our way. Our room was very nice and the beds were comfy. It was quiet and we all slept like a baby. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying with Aloft hotels again!!!

The rooms were cleans and the property well maintained. The location is also a huge plus.

I Was given a handicapped room when it wasn’t needed. Had to request a different room and was moved to another handicapped room with smaller beds.The next morning, I was able to be moved to a room I originally booked.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. There was a kids soccer league on my floor and I knew there was going to be trouble when we got to our room. The kids ran uncontrolably up and down the halls with no supervision. I attempted to go and speak to the parents, but there were no chaperones or parents around. Our room was 422 and it was directly across the hall from the loudest ice machine ever made. It sounded like a jet engine taking off. It got unplugged ASAP. There was no door to the ice machine room. Then, around 3am, my wife and I were awoke to the sounds of both next door neighbors snoring. The room walls were paper thin. We could hear everything going on. Snoring to the right and snoring above us. We even heard a cat meow and scream out during the night. It sounded like a total zoo. So we laid there for two hours unable to sleep. These newer hotel room walls are made out of paper. So at 5am, my wife and I got out of bed, gathered our belongings and drove 2 hours to return home to Dallas.

The room was nice and I like that I was able to be trusted with a real thermostat (meaning, not one that turns on the heat if you bump the temperature up more than 2 degrees). The pillows were like clouds. Which sounds nice until you try to sleep on them; all the contents separate to the ends and it feels like there's nothing there. Stacking another one top somehow makes it feel like there's 3 of them under there.

The Front Desk staff was very cordial, but the property is in need of renovations. The pain on the room walls is chipped, the furniture is tired, and the hallways are dark. All Housekeeping staff was given a day off during our stay and no one let us know, so we had to go to the Front Desk at night to ask for towels, etc. On the days we got Housekeeping, they never replenish amenities like toilet paper, and they didn't seem to clean properly. Wi-Fi was super slow and it was difficult to connect via mobile and tablet. All in all, I don't recommend this property at all, and I will never go back.

My husband and I always enjoy our stays at Aloft during our trips. The hotel is stylish and well maintained the rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the price is great for a high quality hotel. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Austin.

First, there were missing items from our room, I had a shirt go missing and my boyfriend lost two brand new pairs of Nike socks. On top of that, the room was not clean. There was a visible stain on the sheets when we checked in, and I had to personally go down to the front desk to request replacements later. The overall cleanliness felt sub-par and the room itself was dingy, with very poor water pressure in the shower. The rooms are also much smaller than advertised. To make matters worse, my boyfriend ordered one beer at the bar and was charged multiple times, including what looked like a $200 “tip” that was not authorized. Staff assured us there would be no extra charges, yet the charges appeared anyway. While the lobby staff were polite, they were not helpful in resolving any of these issues. Even small details like the snack selection were disappointing. Altogether, this stay was frustrating and not worth the cost.

Loved all the games in the lobby. The bar was awesome. We’ve only stayed here twice. And both times we were put in room 220 that is right beneath the gym and we were unable to sleep past 7 AM because of the noise.

The lication of the hotel was reqlly good., rooms were clean and beds were awsome. The only thing is that it didnt have a continental breakfast. Our family does travel ball and having breakfast in a hotel is a must.

The staff were all great, and the cleaning services were also great. My biggest issue with the booking is the room itself. It was small, there was no closet (only two metal bars that go from ceiling to floor with a bar across to hang up clothes), and a very very small mini dresser (it wasn't enough for my clothes). There was no iron available either.

I didn't like the communication with Kevin in reservations at Aloft. Even worse customer service at Booking .Com.( Name Mai). I will not use Booking .com again. Ever!

The check in was quick and easy. You might want to ask if there is anything you need to know about connecting to the internet. They do have breakfast available for purchase. The gym...was not fully functioning. Only one of the two treadmills was working. The two step machines next to them were not working correctly. Other than the gym, everything was great.

First of all the hotel is in immaculate condition and the room was amazing with modern decor and the gym was nice and the pool was awesome and they had snacks downstairs in the lobby like 711 and they had games in the lobby and the whole vibe in the lobby was just festive in the evenings with families hanging out and having fun and the staff is probably one of the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever experienced in a hotel in my life. I don’t usually come to Austin, but I feel like I wanna make another trip here just to come to the aloft.

The bed was comfortable Do not stay in room 100… because room 100 is right by the door that leads to the lobby, in room 100 you hear every door opening and closing… it is ridiculously LOUD. I am not exaggerating when I say I didn’t get any sleep… I was up all through the night! Staff was very uninterested in us and never even said hello except during check in

Walked into the room and instantly it didn't smell clean. Looked decently clean. Bathroom was not up to par. Bedding did NOT smell clean at all. Not impressed with this location. Didn't even have coffee in the morning. Thumbs down.

Wonderful place. Great staff very clean. They could do a little better with the food selection available but nothing bad to say. We will stay there again on our next trip

Was very nice and very reasonable. Everything was clean. The floor seemed a little sticky, but it could’ve been because it was so humid in the room overall very nice stay

I tried to return to my 2nd floor room using stair A; however, no one can enter from the outside using stair A. I returned to the front desk to find out how to get back to my room. We had to get management to come to the front desk to provide assistance on how I can return to my room. I was guided to stair B which is the stairs that is completely inside the hotel. So, here are some thoughts about management at this location: 1) It was apparent that new employees do not get adequate training. Desk clerk had to get management out of his office to assist on where/how do I get back to my room. Also, management was needed to show staff how to print invoice after I had been 'checked out'. 2) Management failed to adequately post signs that the elevator was 'out of order' and directions to stair B (only stairs to use for going to and from rooms) on all floors.

Second time staying here and this place is excellent. Convenient and comfortable. The only complaint could be that shower doors seem to open backwards and are a little annoying, nothing to take away from the fact that this place is great for someone staying out of town for a few days. Highly recommended.

Location, friendly staff, smells so good in there!! Too few handicap parking spaces, glass above my bed was filthy… like gross filthy!

Did not stay. The original booking was for the wrong dates. We’re unable to reschedule without a $222 penalty.

I booked thru Hotels.com. The hotel description indicated free breakfast as most hotels do. I came down our first morning, "Please point me toward breakfast!". They looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears. "What room are you in?" I said, "403". He says, "Oh, you booked through Expedia. You didn't buy the correct package that includes breakfast." Correct package??? After explaining I had never even heard of their brand til I went to Hotels.com, they said, "Sorry." They did offer to let me take some fruit for free, including the most over-ripe bananas I've ever had. No making an exception for a first time customer. I felt pretty stupid for booking Aloft. I won't be staying with them again.

The room was clean, staff was very nice and helpful. Only complaint is the walls are thin, you can hear conversations and movements pretty easily. However, I would stay here again.

Front desk personnel very attentive and cordial. Well presented, professional and welcoming. The Hotel was very nice and cleaned. The room was perfect, from the decor to setup! Breakfast was disappointing, convenience store like.

Walls and ceiling are paper thin. Sounded like an all star wrestling match above my room and all they were doing was walking. The stained rug should be thrown away

Very nice stay; a fun hotel that makes it fun especially for families. Pool are is very nice and plenty of games in lobby to keep families entertained.

Clean and quiet property. The staff was friendly and assisted us with early check in. Lots of games and entertainment in the lobby.

Front desk was extremely nice and checked us in very fast. Room was extremely clean and hotel was nice. Wish i would have taken advantage of the games in the lobby and bar but was there with my children. Will definitely stay here when in this area again.
