Easy access to the surrounding area of Rockville/Gaithersburg $15 dollars for parking in an unsecured open lot, which would have been free anywhere else in the US. I selected the property because it wasn't in the heart of the downtown to avoid parking cost. The breakfast was poor quality. You pay $22 dollars for eggs, potatoes, and sausage. $4 dollars for coffee (no lobby coffee), and $3 dollars for toast. The sausage was very small (3 pieces) and overcooked, like it had been cooked early in the morning. For what you expect at a Sheraton, the prices did not live up to the value. The tubs were small as well. I'm a short guy and I found myself having to angle myself just to stand in the tub for shower. I probably could have overlooked some of this, but adding the $15 dollars a day for the parking, which you could tell that they had no real enforcement mechanize either (didn't provided passes), set my initial experience. Felt like getting nickeled and dime for poor quality. I could have gone to Best Western for the same price (free breakfast and parking) for the same price.

they ran out of chicken wings & crab cakes on Friday and had none the rest of the weekend. Restaurant wasn't open for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. it made for a long day.

The room was clean… as usual I requested a quiet room preferably top floor away from everyone and everything. I was assigned the 3rd floor next to a crying baby. Fortunately they weren’t here both nights but again it’s customary to have children, pets, families etc on the first couple of floors and solo travelers on the top floor. It’s a simple concept and simple to follow it just takes a little extra time but less time than hearing and trying to fix complaints. Parking was convenient and the restaurant staff and food was good!

You get a good room and good location for what you pay. It’s worth it. Service: I asked for a wine opener at front desk and was told please bring it back here. I felt it was not really hard for the staff to come back and grab it if they needed it.

The property is quite clean, and staff was very nice! We stayed the room which was not good on noise reduction since next door talked aloud on the phone, we could hear it all even in late night. Since we only stayed two nights, we did not request to change room. But we did tell the front desk staff.

This was an odd stay. The hotel is in a peaceful location. The room was well appointed however, it had too few outlets and the Internet was spotty, slow or to the point of giving up on trying to get my work done. Very frustrating. The staff on checkout was young and made it sound like a problem to check out and return key cards in person. She told me “I see that you’re older and it’s no longer a thing to check out in person. It all online now”. Other thing is the shower curtain in room 310 didn’t reach fully around causing one side exposed and water on the floor.

An older Sheraton. Not as updated and higher end that I'm accustomed to when staying at Sheraton hotels. Had to pay for parking in an open non-secured, uncovered lot. No reason you should need to pay. Breakfast is not included and very pricey. Tucked away in a neighborhood so nothing is close by. Sheets and pillows were mediocre. Disappointed with my stay here.

The location is optimal. The property itself is clean and has a multitude of amenities. The staff including housekeeping is exceptional. The housekeeping staff is so attentive that I felt the urge to leave a tip.

Registration and housekeeping were very good. Restaurant was overpriced for what you get and did not have everything listed in its menu. Elevator was always alarming. I was disappointed that there was no free wi-fi. Some in our group received free breakfast and others did not which was also disappointing. Fitness facility was better than many hotels of this size.

The front desk staff were very unhelpful with me and my family. I tried to tell her that me and my husband have not used Marriott Bonvoy in a long time, but she made minimum effort to find our account on the system. Also they charged us an incorrect smoking fee of $500, when nobody in my household smokes. Also I tried to contact the manager and still no replies. The front desk could it have been more customer service friendly, show more hospitality, and treat us with respect.

The Sheraton Rockville is still my preferred hotel in this DC suburb, and I normally stay there 4 times every year for a few days each time. It's a slightly older, but still nice property in a good location with large, comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. Like most hotels, I wish they would check their rooms more frequently for maintenance issues, so I'd suggest checking the room when you first arrive. I can tell you they are very good about changing your room if needed.

The very apologetic front desk agent explained that the hotel had installed new sensors, and that they happened to be very sensitive and guests had ran into issues with them before. Despite this, my card was charged a total of four times over the weekend, each transaction being blocked by my bank. Upon checkout, the supervisor assured me that there would be no more charges and that I would get the $250 incidental deposit back in full by the end of the week. Surprise, surprise...the end of the week comes and the previously pending incidental charge goes through. I email the General Manager about this twice, and after no respo

Good location. We had 2 nights there and 2nd night they vacancy my room and same one getting into our room. We got lucky because and the same time we were right behind them and showed our room number. Still unprofessional service from the Sheraton hotel.

Restaurant didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Ordered grilled cheese with Swiss. 1st time came out with cheddar, 2nd time came out with pepper jack. I had to order something else because you don’t have Swiss cheese. It was kind of ridiculous. Room was clean but poor craftsmanship. Bathroom ceiling peeling and a really bad caulk job. Pro tip for gcpm or engineer- use tape when caulking. The shower diverter needs to be replaced because it was really hard to get warm water without burning you. I would have engineering check and see what the temperature of the water is at. It should be 125 for hotels.

Very attractive lobby and rooms. Helpful staff, comfortable bed, and very clean. Room lighting was dim, would like some brighter lights (not all, but some). It would've been nice to have a luggage stand, as there was no place to lay out a suitcase except on the desk (most places we have stayed have the fold-up luggage racks). Also, we would have appreciated more surface space in the bathroom (a shelf or table under the sink would help a lot).

I stayed in a club-level room, and it was the best hotel experience I had over the past year. The location is great, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, and the personnel went above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience (including early check-in). The club lounge is pretty neat too. It's be nice to get more breakfast options.

It was clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the location was close to our family. Small suggestion: the channel guide on the TV only displays the channel names and none of the programming. So one has to watch one channel at a time, wait for the commercials to get over before you know what’s showing. Not a large problem but most of your competition does it better. PS there are two channels with lots of movie selections but each movie costs $21.99.

Got there late in the evening - around 9:30 pm, but there was no hassle check in. Got to my room quickly, key card worked fine. Room was very comfortable and cool (temperature), Clean. Not too quiet at first (there was a kid screaming somewhere in a nearby room), but that stopped after about a half hour.

My recommendation is skip this hotel and find somewhere else that is truly worth the money without the endangerment of your health, I did get sick after already feeling poorly from a painful dental extraction. I feel that this hotel took my advantage of my trust.

I wondered why I felt poorly and then I noticed old food in the fridge, no toiletries, specifically hand soap and dirty bed linens on a re-made bed.

This survey is too long, although it is nice that you allow someone to write in their thoughts. I did not like the fact that the fan on the room heater/AC was always on even if you turned it off. I thought of unplugging it from the wall, but decided not to. The toilet would not flush when I got there, but the Handyman fixed it right away. My sink had cracks running from side to side. And overall things were a bit weathered, but that doesn’t bother me too much.

The Sheraton in Rockville is still my 'go to' hotel in this area and I usually stay there about 15-20 nights per year. The property is well-maintained, and the restaurant is now back open for breakfast and dinner. They charge a nightly fee for parking, but it's not too much. Rooms are large, attractively decorated, and comfortable.

The young very well dressed man named Jeffrey at the front desk is such a absolute pleasure to deal with. Very accommodating hotel. I’ve started there several times, this time I came into town for a job interview.. they even wished me well.. it’s the simple pleasantries. I will stay there again.

The STAFF makes this facility the rating I provided. From arrival at 2:30AM due to weather issues, to the lovely service by restaurant staff and the cleaning crew - they make this place much more than the facility itself!

The location of this property is very good and walkable to a lot of places. The staff are very nice and supportive. The other hotel guests were laud and they made a lot of noises in mid-night and early in the morning. I do not know how the hotel staff could manage these unexpected laud guests at these odd hours.

Everything about the Sheridan felt like an upgrade. Fully equipped bathroom, extra fluffy towels, in room coffee maker came with Starbucks. Six king sized pillows on the bed. The in house restaurant and bar had delicious food and drink. It was perfect not to have to leave to get food since the weather was subzero temperatures.

Like all Marriott properties, the Rockville Sheraton was a 5 star stay. But, this Sheraton scored 6 stars in one category, the bar/restaurant staff. They were the best. Good people. Great staff all the way round throughout the facility

Charging for parking has an extremely negative perception. It hurts the brand. Intuitively it screams greed, bottom line revenue or struggling financially. Please remove the additional parking fee, it’s like we are offsetting your personal property taxes.

Absolutely magnificent. Comfortable, well appointed room, with every necessity to make our stay comfortable. The room was also beautifully decorated. Great water pressure, suoer comfortable luxurious beds. Just a dream. Friendly front desk, lovely lobby, wonderful breakfast, safe area.

This is still my 'go-to' hotel in Rockville and I usually stay there about 12-15 nights per year when visiting relatives. Rooms are clean, large and very comfortable. Front desk is friendly and helpful. They've started charging for parking ($10/day) but it's not excessive and they are back to doing housekeeping every night. Convenient location on a quiet cul de sac with no through traffic.

The $10 per night parking charge and the “resort” fee were ridiculous. They are annoying examples of the junk fees multi-billion dollar corporations add on in order to squeeze a little more from customers. If Marriott needs to pad their bottom line, why not just add $10 to the room rate and advertise “free parking”? It would at least be a better PR move.

Very negative experience. I made reservations requested a first floor room. I called prior to checking in and they told me that one would definitely be available. When I arrived, there was an employee working the check in he said he’d only been there three weeks and a couple in front of me was experiencing issues checking in while the employee was on FaceTime with someone on his phone. When I was speaking to the employee, I kept reminding him I was told I could have a first floor room. He completely disregarded me. Check me in and handed me a card showing a different floor room. He told me there was no way I could have a first floor room. I immediately told him to check me out refund my card and have somebody contact me ASAP I have still not heard from anybody there. Horrible experience will not be back.

I chose this location for a running race nearby with an early start. Clean and quiet. Perfect for me (bed early and up super early). The staff was friendly and the facilities looked nice. I contemplated coming back to my room after the race, but headed home

Every thing is good besides the bedding sheet has some black mark on it. And many huge brown marks on the mattress. Make me feel uncomfortable. The glass cups are not clean. They didn’t change the paper pad for the cups.

Please just add to the price of the room rather than ask for us to pay for parking. I have been staying there for a number of years and this is the first I was asked to pay for parking. It feels so out of place.

The room was adequate and served the purpose. The hotel was in a nice area but was a little tricky to get to since you had to drive through some residential condos to get to the parking lot. It also has a $5 parking fee for parking at the facility.

The state was terrible marked by the horrible check-in, where the hotel made it our problem “our problem that the reservation that did not have records of the reservation, which was fully paid for in advance. This aggravation started at 9 PM and the attendant told told me that it was my problem to adjust that and sort that out rather than their problem which they had a record of yet, and confirmed the reservation knew about it, but it was my problem to sort it out
