breakfast The front desk receptionist was very rude. When I asked him what time was check out he stated that I must dont know how to travel. That comment was simply uncalled for. Then the receptionist then caught an attitude with my spouse when he asked where was the restroom. The receptionist was very focused on being Flamboyant and smart with his mouth. No disrespect to the LGBT community but someone like the guy hired to stand at your front desk has a bad taste in hospitality.

This was a fun hotel with bright colors, fun common areas (even a pool table and swinging chairs in the lobby!), and seasonal decorations. The staff here were all exceptionally kind and helpful, even when we were checking in very late after 11:00 pm. Jermaine was absolutely the best! He was there late in the evening when we checked in, worked through the night, and stayed on to help the next morning. When we saw him at breakfast, he was as kind, pleasant, and helpful as he had been the night before. He is an exceptional employee and represents this company very well! The breakfast had a huge variety for this type of breakfast and even had special items like almond milk. Families traveling with kids will especially like this hotel. The rooms make very efficient use of every space. The only reason for taking a star off our review is that the beds were not very comfortable. The sheets slid around on top of the mattress pad all night and bunched up easily, making it a bit harder to sleep. The mattresses themselves were not very supportive. As sleeping was our reason for being there, we had to take off a star for the beds. Other than the beds, everything was great!

Loved the location and the shower! We have stayed here before, so I knew what to expect...but the breakfast has deteriorated. The pancakes were almost raw, the machine that cooked them was not set correctly...it needed to be slowed down to allow more cooking time. Also the only syrup available was blueberry syrup. Not sure if they ran out of syrup or what, but not everyone likes blueberry syrup. THERE WAS A tournament of some kind so there were lots of kids in house. They pretty much ravished the breakfast bar before we got there., so lots of items were not available! I guess they did not have enough food or either were not replacing the food hoping to slow down the consumption.. The bed we slept in in room 225 was worn and you could feel the springs inside the mattress. It needs replacing with maybe firm Serta mattress. The bed is not supporting your back correctly,. Also the walls and floors here are not soundproof enough. You can hear doors slamming and people walking about all night. The hotel was cheaply constructed. Love the Tru concept, but this property has deteriorated since we stayed here a couple of years ago. Also the hotel would not give us credit for being a Hilton honors member because we booked thru booking.com.. we actually paid a higher rate for the room thru this third party booking than if we had just walked in a booked a room.. to me this was unfair. See above

The main reason I booked this hotel was because the outside pool looked nice and I wanted to use it. The pool was closed the entire time I was there. That was not mentioned upon check in. Would have booked a place with a working pool had I known. Everything else was fine. The room was clean and breakfast was sufficient.

Have stayed here before without any issues but beds are in need of replacing now , bed way to soft felt like i was sinking in a hole. Coffee bar is right in the way when trying to leave in the morning , need to move it away from the area where people walk . Motel seems to be a used by alot of high school team / travel teams heard kids running up and down the hall late into the evening . Don't know that i will stay hear again

One of my favorite places to stay! Yummy breakfast and clean room. Our AC was out and we were accommodated with a new room.

Was hard getting checked in. We booked two room and one was on floor three and the other was on floor four. One room was ready around the check in Time (3pm) and the second wasn't ready until about an hour later. I'm not usually a complainer however we were up there moving my 71 year old mother from clover to Florida and it had been a very long hard and exhausting few days for all of us but especially her! We all really needed to just lay down and that made it a bit difficult as well as frustrating.

Our room was clean and ready for us even though we were very late arrivals (2am). The front desk checked us in over the phone while we were traveling, and that was so very helpful. I would recommend it for a stay, and the area is nice too, very family friendly.

At check in Laura was very sweet and friendly. My family traveling from out of town (booked 6 rooms) were able to meet up at breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed the lobby where we chatted, watched football on tv, played board games and pool. Great place!!

There was a major issue with me receiving my Expedia rewards.

Rooms were clean. But breakfast was very basic. The website showed it to have laundry rooms and laundry services which is why we booked here. We stayed there while waiting to move into our new place after moving her from Texas. This place does not have a laundry room or laundry services.

This was our first stay at Hilton’s TRU property and we loved it! We will definitely be booking this type of hotel again. The breakfast was the best we’ve had and the hotel seemed brand new. Great hospitality by the front desk! So friendly and welcoming.

This was our first time at a Tru by Hilton and it was a great experience. Check in was a breeze — can choose between contactless or via front desk. The lobby had games and a fantastic variety of snacks & beverages available 24/7. Room was clean & comfortable with a big TV and cable/streamimg options. The shower was awesome too. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with lots of variety and extras like salsa and a yogurt bar. The Lavazza coffee is also a plus. Don’t hesitate to visit this location!

We were greeted cheerfully and quickly given access to our room upon checking in. The room was clean. I especially appreciated no carpet and surfaces that can be cleaned easily. Bed and pillows comfortable. Breakfast had good choices, but eggs logs were not as good as regular scramble. Grits and sausage appreciated! Price was reasonable. Probably wouldn’t pay more though.

The individual that checked me in late at night was wonderful. The hotel is new and clean and looks beautiful. It was also very quiet and i had 2 dogs with me so I was hoping there wouldnt be alot of noise to aggravate them. There is lots of green space around the hotel too for walking dogs and doggy trash cans and bags. I took off one star for the breakfast. It was the standard hotel breakfast fare but the eggs werent good and almost empty when I got there. Nothing else really that fit my diet so I ended up having to go out for breakfast.

The ac was making a loud noise when we first got to the room. I went to the lobby and reported it. Instead of moving us, they sent maintenance. He disassembled the unit and replaced the blower and reassembled the unit. That didn't resolve the issue so he disassembled it AGAIN. We were just sitting the room WAITING. We needed to shower and dress for scheduled dinner. After an hour of waiting in the now hot room, I went down to see the manager - who spoke no English and wanted to use phone translation app. He got someone else so I could explain my situation and they moved us to another room. I know the hotel was 40% booked because I heard them discussing it when we were checking in so why not just give me another room when I first reported the issue. Also, we are in USA...WHY am I have to communicate via translation app to a business manager at a hotel?

This property is at a Great location to restaurants. The beds are comfy. My shower happened to have mold in the corner. The housekeeper was able to remove some but not all after I notified the front desk staff. Not sure how the other showers look. They were unable to move me due to my bed choice being “sold out”.

We reviewed many hotels in the Rock Hill area. The Tru by Hilton filled all of our needs. The location was perfect. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. The breakfast had lots to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

The whole place was clean and the staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is somehow the AC is off during the day. I am not sure how it is controlled, but when I returned to the room it was very warm and humid. It took a hour and a half to get it cooled down.

The overall experience was good, considering its a pet-friendly hotel. It was clean, but we had to move to another room since our initial room didn't have hot water.

I real appreciated the Saturday afternoon/evening staff…friendly and very helpful and accommodating without being overbearing. As I left this morning there was a very gracious and sincere comment to me. The staff with the breakfast were similarly helpful and gracious! I was VERY impressed! Will definitely stay again when I have occasion to be in Rock Hill.

Tru of Rock Hill is my "go to" when I stay in Rock Hill, SC. I love it! I would however suggest the staff have a meeting to boost morale and customer service and also to be sure they are all on the same page. Other than that, awesome!

It was too expensive for what I got. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Initially we were assigned room 430 and it was near I-77 which was a bit too noisy for the week. We requested and was granted room 201 and it was perfect. The staff was outstanding!!!

Friendly staff and modern lobby. Breakfast offered a variety of fruit, unfortunately the eggs were not true eggs - awful. The bread could be better ie offer whole grain.

The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is very roomy...the lobby is great also and the staff was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was always fresh and hot ,overall we will stay there again for sure its a gem

The room didnt have a closet but convient knobs for hanging clothes. No drawers to hideaway stuff. My biggest complaint was were you placed your suitcase was too narrow. Front desk service was great. The hotel was very clean. Ample towels, soap and shampoo. We didnt have time to enjoy the workout room, pool table, board games and outside pool (weather was too cool to swim. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and if we were in the area again would definitely stay there.

No closet, hanging clothes on the wall, are you kidding me? Nowhere to put contents of luggage. Vastly overpriced. Low water pressure, barely a trickle in bathroom. Water lukewarm. Attempt to hide these deficiencies with silly slogans everywhere First and last stay at Tru

Upon arrival I check in and went to my room. The TV was not working so I called the front desk they sent up Maintenace which could not get the TV to work either. Was there for only two days but no TV, Also the last night I was there the heating system / AC was leaking water all over the room. Was not my best hotel stay.

Extremely noisy from traffic on I-77. I stayed at hotel right in front of it numerous times and never heard interstate traffic. Breakfast buffet very minimal with poor selection. Good coffee though. Walked my dog around building and the nice doggie bag holders and disposals 2 of 3 on the property were empty. Someone was smoking weed by employee pool area and back of building. Also strange man in parked car sitting there. Didnt return to that area rest of trip. I was to receive a hang tag for door saying there was a pet inside and didn’t get one. Room I found to be extremely small and crowded. Poor blanket for the bed. Skimpy for a king bed. I found bathroom to be very nice and well designed. Back outdoor entrance by lobby next to pool gate people smoke there and no garbage can or cigarette disposal so they throw their cigarette butts all over the walkway. Hey - bit at least it was clean!

We were done for a volleyball tournament. This hotel was close to everything. Everyone was so nice! The room was super clean. I would stay here again!

Convenient to I-77 and Rock Hill

Overall this property was good. The staff was great, hotel was clean and has a great breakfast. My complaint is that we paid for a room via Expedia that the hotel didn't offer, we passed the deadline to cancel and get our money back and the only room they had available was one with a broken thermostat so it was hot. The hotel provided us with a floor fan that helped but when you pay for something, you expect to get it. Really disappointed

My daughter and I stayed one night while visiting family. The staff was so super friendly and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. The room was spotless and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!

Our family stayed for a soccer tournament. Hotel was clean, convenient, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. What more could you ask for.

Every one in the hotel is always very friendly and helpful. My mom and I visit this hotel often. On this trip I had injured my ankle and the gentleman that we met immediately provided assistance to help me in my wheelchair! We will definitely be loyal to this hotel chain! The staff goes above and beyond👍

Not exactly quiet at night.

I only require one thing as a minimum, a comfortable bed. As usual, Tru delivered. I slept like a baby. The rest is just icing. Clean, friendly, quiet, nice breakfast, etc. Nothing bad to say. My go to hotel every time.
