Hampton Inn Rock Hill

The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Anytime we needed extra towels, toilet paper, or anything else, our requests were handled quickly and graciously. Breakfast was delicious each morning with plenty of options available. While the hotel became a bit busier on Friday night and Saturday morning, everything remained well managed, and we never felt crowded or uncomfortable. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly hotel, and we would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Rock Hill.

Bedsheets were not attached the mattress rethink. They’re trying to put clean sheets on the king bed had to switch rooms.

The breakfast had a good selection and overall good. I liked that it is pet friendly. We didn't hear any pet barking in the hotel. Pool was nice and in use. I used the weight room and would have loved to have a bike in it. The past few Hampton Inn have and its been nice. Overall the gym fit my need.

Also, the refrigerator did not have a freezer. When we travel from Florida to head north for the summer, we typically need a freezer to at least refreeze the ice packs for our coolers.

It would have been perfect with the exception of no one at the front desk when we arrived. I did get acknowledged from a back room when I called out hello, and the employee sounded to be on a business related call, but I feel some one should always be present at the desk to greet customers. The room and breakfast were excellent.

Our room was clean and well equipped. TV worked fine and channel selection was good. The hotel provided a helpful detailed list of local restaurants with a map. The breakfast buffet was great and the workers pleasant and helpful. The only complaint was the condition of the carpets in the hallway in front of our room door and the adjacent rooms both sides of the hallway. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed in a good while!

Staff helped out First room water all over the bathroom floor no toilet paper in the room. Not aware of a $75 dollar fee it should be posted. I requested a early check in pf 1300 my email as well as calling the property directly I was told that there was no record of it. I requested the trash be removed from the room and this never happened or new face cloths be or towels which also never happened

Convenient place to stop on our way from Columbus, Ohio to Hilton Head, SC. We enjoyed the included breakfast in the morning. We arrived late and left early but the staff was very welcoming even at the late hour and again in the morning. the parking lot was totally full when we arrived! Had to park quite a ways away. Our AC unit was pretty noisy (room 500) but we were tired and were able to sleep through it!

Just a hotel, nothing fancy. Pretty blah Unaware of construction happening next to our room. My son has special needs and the noise really bothered him. Booked the hotel so my son could swim in the pool. When we got here we were told the pool wasn’t open til May. Rediculous.. nothing on website.. very disappointing.

The stay was, for the most part, good. However, we stayed for three nights, and housekeeping never entered our room. I think they should have come in at least once to empty the trash and do a few minor checks. Parking was a little challenging, especially in the beginning with large mobile cranes doing some type of work in the parking lot. The breakfast was good.

Noticed there wasn't a clock in the room and the remote was not in the plastic bag they had placed by the TV for our convenience. Beds were comfortable but pillows were way to soft for me.

Nothing. Hotel is basic. Stayed here for larger space but rooms were basic and didn’t feel larger. Marriott rooms are smaller but better. Regret not going there. Check in process was painful. Reserved TWO rooms for my family for several days. Asked for early checkin because I was having my house remodeled and was stuck without a home around 9am. I showed up and asked for early checkin. Was told, yes, come back at noon. Came back at noon and told, sorry, hotel is being checked by maintenance and your chosen rooms will be checked LAST! Come back at 4! Lol my room was checked last even though they knew I needed early checkin!?! Definitely didn’t go out of their way to help but, instead, felt like they went out of their way to NOT help. No apologies! No comments about anything helpful. Shocked. I left and came back at 4. New staff so they had no idea. Also, hotel allowed LARGE group to reserve portions of lobby and take up ENTIRE breakfast area. There wasn’t anywhere to sit or eat breakfast. And worse…they weren’t even eating. Just sitting around waiting for a bus. Will never stay in a Hampton or Hilton hotel again. The worst customer server ever.

The internet did not work for me at all and I got charged for smoking, I don’t smoke. I have breast cancer and proof of needing to stay away from people who smoke. Someone named Alice told me that a woman told her that after I checked out. I don’t trust hotels now and will be asking for someone to come from downstairs and check the room before I check out. I don’t trust Hilton hotels at this point and will not be staying there anymore. Hampton inn is where I stayed this time, but still Hilton.

The fuse blew when I used the blow dryer. Customer service didn’t know what to do until the maintenance came in at 7am, just inconvenient to have no lights in the bathroom. Maintenance did a reset and all was well.

Excellent hotel. We stay at the Rock Hill Hampton every time we travel to Florida and back. Always excellent. Clean, great breakfast, great area. This year on our way home the hotel was completely booked, so we went a few miles further up the road to another Hampton...never again! Didn't even compare! From now on we are only staying at the Rock Hill Hampton Inn.

The public areas were clean, the breakfast was okay (don’t try the individually wrapped cream cheese danish unless you enjoy the flavor of cardboard) but the yogurt was CBN old and in date, milk too. Didn’t interact much with staff, so I guess they were okay. Could have dressed more professionally for front desk staff.

I can’t believe the high ratings this awful property had. I would never trust Expedia reviews again. The bed was awful. The bathroom was moldy, hard to turn shower on, and in general need of updates and cleaning.

The front desk staff, maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, breakfast staff are all very friendly and lovely. The hotel is quite clean. The free breakfast both stays has had fresh strawberries and fruit which is still the only hotel we have ever had fresh strawberries. We were happy in 2023 and happy again now in 2025. See you again next year!

Only problem was a slippery bathtub. Made showering a little dangerous. Remember to hold on to the safety bar.

My family and I have high standards, it’s a problem for us!! The room has multiple carpet stains and ceiling stains. All around a dirty off highway room just to sleep one night.

All the usual amenities. Location is right off I77. Newer property. Sufficient white noise for sleeping. Excellent morning breakfast.

Staff were very nice. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of seating space. The only issue was the hotel was totally booked and you noticed it with the hot water. It took forever to heat up and it only got luke warm. They need to look into the water heater issue of supporting a full hotel.

Even though I used Expedia to book my room, I was able yo check in online through their website and get a virtual key. I did nkt even have to go to the drsk. Just walked in and went to room. LOVED IT! I am such an introvert that it just gave a much more relaxing and stress free stay. When checking out we left a day early and since I was able to check in online it made it so lich easier for the desk gentleman to check me oit AND he was able to only charge me for one night so much easily. I coild tellbhe was even so greatful for the ease of checking me out. THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL STAY.

A reliably clean stay with a nice breakfast spread. We often stay at Hampton Inns because they are reliably comfortable and clean.

The fitness room was sparse, not too much equipment and the treadmills were on their last leg. The pool looked clean, but was outdoors and cold so we skipped it. There was no hot tub. There were 2 elevators, but only one worked until we were checking out, then none worked. We had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast was basic, minimal, and nothing great, but it was free/included. Bathroom and shower looked good.

Front desk person was great and very helpful. Hotel has been renovated. But we had bugs in the bathroom. Also, our room was next to the exercise room and some teenage kids were in there dropping weights and making lots of noise at 10:30pm. Didn’t feel safe in side parking lot. Very dark and isolated. First room that we were assigned had an inoperative refrigerator. So we asked to be moved.

Good, clean, comfortable room. Adequate for our needs

Broken tv. Staff was nice but not able to fix while we were there

There was mold around the fixtures in the shower, as well as on the ceiling above the shower area.

Front Desk Associate was extremely helpful and kind! Room was great!!

Great for travelling with a family. We had the 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably in our suite. Great breakfast which had something for everyone.

Convenient to everything

It was convenient, quiet and clean.

Checked in at 11pm Monday, sheets on bed dirty, they dropped of clean but refused to make bed. There 6 nights and room was cleaned once. Entire room, bathroom, floor dirty upon arrival. At 250 plus a night, room service should be priority daily. Ask for fresh towels, and they were delivered once. So by the time we left, our garbage cans were overflowing, felt bad for ladies that had to clean. If you can’t staff/clean the rooms don’t rent them all out. Hilton honors member for many years, so disappointed here and won’t be back.

The staff member that checked us in was very friendly and personable! Her attitude was truly welcoming!

Great locations - lots of restaurants. Convenient on and off interstate.
