The location was great. The indoor pool was nice. The booking didn’t mention 100$ deposit for each room. Held it 5 days after check out. The day of check out items were removed from my room and I was locked out 1hr before check out.

The rooms were great. Love all the access to plugs for phone chargers etc. Love the paint scheme in the room also.

None of the amenities I could use since the were renovating and I didn't even get a discount. Drunk men were hanging out in the hallway and one of them threw up all over the carpet.

The hotel is getting a fresh update and it looks amazing. Our room was so spacious. Breakfast was great! Only complaint, they did not have pack and plays or baby cribs babies… so our infant had to sleep in bed with us. It was not ideal at all. And I’ve never heard of a hotel not having accommodations for a baby.

It was an amazingly clean hotel. There was a spacious area for gathering and the breakfast was excellent(especially the waffles).

I was there just overnight as I was traveling. The room was very clean. Breakfast was a little better than I see at other hotels. Nice selection.

The staff member who checked us in was impolite and unfriendly. Notably, the young woman on duty wore pajamas, which fell short of professional standards.

Property is undergoing renovations so it’s hard to give it a proper review but the staff was excellent, it’s close to a lot of walkable places to eat or shop.

It was horrible I didn’t receive any points for this day for one for two. The air-conditioning in the room did not work. I had them come up there and all they did was push the buttons I sweated for two nights. I asked him could they do something about it he said they didn’t have a maintenance man that I could call a number to try to get a discount, but he was not promising me that the floor smelt horrible. The room stunk when we first went in the pullout couch when you lay down on it it almost flipped you into the floor so we had to turn around and lay on it backwards. Then my son said he’s saying bugs in there so not a very good place to say.

The comfort suites in Rock Hill, South Carolina has a policy they require you to live at least 21 miles away from the Hotel in order to rent a room. I previously lived in Lancaster SC I recently moved and now live in NC but I haven’t had time to charge my Drivers License as I have 30 days to do so. I booked the room the day before unaware of their policy because it is not posted on any website! When my children and I arrived to the hotel the receptionist told me that I would not be able to stay due to the policy that was on a piece of paper that was taped to the desk. I asked why wasn’t that something that was posted on their website The receptionist did not know why. I explained that I had recently moved to NC and I had not changed my license over however I should have mail in my car that could prove my residency. I had to search my car to find some mail that proved my state of residency. This process took 40 min to check in. I booked a 2 Queen bed suite and I received 1 Queen and an old pull out chair that was stained and was very difficult to pull out . Their were item that had been left under the couch the mattress was so old the springs of the mattress were coming out of the mattress. There were no sheets in the room for the pull out bed my daughter had to ask the receptionist for sheets and a pillow however she only received sheets and a small blanket. My son could not sleep on the couch due to the springs hurting his body. My son had to sleep in the bed with us.

My room was ok the walls were very dirty everywhere not just “scuff” marks. The room also had a musty smell every time you entered. The staff was kind but didn’t really see nor speak with them expect at check in/out. The hotel was convenient to a lot of stuff which was a plus.

Breakfast was ok...the location was great but the room was not what I expected at all!! The room didn't have 2 tv's, it was suppose to be a suite where so me and my wife would have separate space from my kids that was the only reason we stayed there because we thought we would be closed off from them.

The room was functional but very old. Lamp shades were stained, curtains were frayed and had holes in them, furniture was scratched and chipped. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom.

The mattress protectors on the sofa bed mattresses were pretty much shredded and there were no extra linens to put on sofa bed. Had to go down and ask after we already got in at 2am ready for bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful We were loved to several rooms because the key card reader on the doors wouldn’t work unless we tried the key atleast 5 times

While one staff member was akward upon arrival (didn't greet and we were confused if they were the check-in person or a security person), they did address a problem with a group of guys catcalling women and girls in the parking lot. The sofa pull out bed was too suspect to use. The mattress cover was torn and rust from the frame was all over the matress.

Had to cancel. The smell was unbelievable. Very strong and had me on a floor with construction and chemical smell. Damage throughout entire hotel. I am absolutely shocked that they are able to rent rooms. Had to search a while for another place to stay.

There was an altercation between two men at breakfast the first morning that we were there, they were cussing about contaminating the food. And also the smell in the hallways, and it was very hard to understand the desk clerk, the man not the woman!!

The first room I stayed in did not have a working AC unit and did not have a hair dryer. I was moved to another room that the AC worked in, however housekeeping did not service the room and I had to go to the front desk two evenings in a row to get clean towels. I spoke with the front desk several times and management never reached out to me.

The room was clean (as hotels go), however the carpet had sticky spots which is way to common with hotels. The shower was missing any shelving for soap/shampoo. You could see it used to have shelf. That being said I’d still stay again.

Room anmd interior features of the hotel rated good. A "nasty" outside problem is the presence of a cell phone tower in the parking lot that is a night roosting place of large black birds that will coat anything within a 40' radius with excrement. Park in spaces as far away from this tower as you can.

Conveniently off the highway. We have stayed many times with no problems but this time was bad! Only had 3 tv channels that worked and staff was unable to help us. One of them being a cartoon channel! After driving 10 hrs wanted to just relax and watch some tv.

The concierge was very rude. He did not know how to honor booking dot com's reservation. He talked to me like I was a kid and didn't know what I was doing. Not very good.

Convenience to hwy The bathroom door wouldn't close. When using the toilet the door was partially open due to a high piece of flooring that would not allow it to close. It was embarrassing since I was traveling with a friend . The breakfast did not have a wide variety of items. The refrigerated milk was spoiled when I poured it into my coffee since the hotel didn't provide cold creamer.

If 0 was an option that is what they would receive. We arrived on 9/4. Our first room smelled of weed. It was so strong my daughter was getting a headache. We asked for a second room, this one smelled of mildew and the pull out bed was broken. While I went downstairs to discuss my husband saw 2 roaches in the room. The third room luckily didnt smell but the bed was broken.. At this point I was quite frustrated but tried to keep my cool. The gentleman told me he had one more room available and went to check the pull out bed. It worked and he left it open for me. Once I saw the bed I said absolutely not and asked for a refund. He offered me the refund and we left and booked another hotel. It has now been 2 weeks. I was told I would get my refund last Monday, as of today I did not receive it and reached out. I was told they forgot and would complete it now. Well my card was charged again! I reached out and they said that was the "process" so charge me again and then refund me that amount, but the original amount never refunded... I contacted my credit union and they agreed that this seemed like they were scamming me and immediately got involved. They have the excuse that they are remodeling, but it was just so nasty. I paid 60 dollars more for two nights and when to the Holiday inn down the street and it was well worth it.

The breakfast was wonderful. The lady who worked Saturday and Sunday made sure food was fully stocked. The man that worked the shift, kept his composer even when the parents were letting there kids run wild. He did good with maintaining the front desk and also made sure I received blanket and sheets for the pull out sofa

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We were so excited for a relaxing weekend, my family of 10 booked 2 large joined rooms. Beds were broken, rooms were smelly and dirty. Carpet was gross, chunks of hair in the showers. I’m thankful the bed linens were clean and breakfast was decent. The staff tried to accommodate us, putting us in different rooms but those rooms had broken beds and one smelled like dog urine so bad it made my eyes water the minute I walked in the door. The pool room looked like it hadn’t had much upkeep at all and the whole hotel looked really run down. Because we booked through Expedia the staff said they were unable to refund us any money so we were out hundreds if we went to another hotel and we honestly couldn’t afford to. It was horrible and we felt stuck.

The reviews was the hotel were very good. I would disagree. The hotel was fully booked which was good. However every floor was half blocked off due to construction. The moment you entered the lobby all you could smell and feel was the over chlorinated pole, which means they are not trying to balance the chemicals. It burned our eyes all evening long. The carpets on the floor in the hallway were coming up and made it very difficult to move the trolley with our bags on them and this appeared to be on every floor as we had multiple rooms on different floors the bathroom the tile was coming up and the walls were bubbling. The heat thermostat on the wall completely fell off when we touched it and appeared. It was never even connected to anything it was a false item so why it was there we do not know the breakfast in the morning was decent however there was no fresh fruit or anything besides bagels and waffles and did not appear to be replenished as it ran out the plow couch that we have in both rooms did not have sheets and we requested multiple times to have sheets so we ended up just sleeping on the couch without pulling it out as the mattress inside the couch was torn in several places there were chips all over the walls in the room. The location is quiet and convenient, but much of it is well worn, such as stretch marks in the hallway carpeting. Apparently though, this process is under way since half of my floor was cordoned off with plastic sheets. Everything about the room was nice, but just needed new replacements. Once updated, this will be a very nice location.

I was in the handicap accessible room. When I saw it was right across from the indoor pool, I expected it to be noisy. I was wrong! It was well insulated, and even though we knew there were kids playing there, we didn't hear a thing in our room. We were able to park right by our room and use the rear entrance accessed by our room key. The only issue I had was that both the ext hallway and pool doors would hang and not close properly unless forcibly shut. That is a safety issue that needs to be addressed. The bed was comfortable. However, the chair and sofa were much too low for me to use; I would not have been able to get up from them. The pneumatics on the desk chair did not work, so even though I raised it to a usable level, it gradually sank when I sat in it, making it necessary to have help getting up.

I was in the handicap accessible room. When I saw it was right across from the indoor pool, I expected it to be noisy. I was wrong! It was well insulated, and even though we knew there were kids playing there, we didn't hear a thing in our room. We were able to park right by our room and use the rear entrance accessed by our room key. The only issue I had was that both the ext hallway and pool doors would hang and not close properly unless forcibly shut. That is a safety issue that needs to be addressed. The bed was comfortable. However, the chair and sofa were much too low for me to use; I would not have been able to get up from them. The pneumatics on the desk chair did not work, so even though I raised it to a usable level, it gradually sank when I sat in it, making it necessary to have help getting up.

One end of the floor we were on was cut off with hanging plastic from use. With no work going on. Doors, key readers, water fountains were inoperable. The gym was closed. We asked for a blanket and pillow, we were told there was no extra because they were completely booked. The place is being poorly managed and maintained.

I don’t know if they run your information and make a decision based on how you present but I had another woman tell me they did the same Thing to her. For booking purposes, for Rock Hill residents it should be something to prevent the booking on any third party website to alleviate a potential inconvenience.

The air conditioning in the room would not cool off the room. The door to the room would often not unlock even with a valid key card. It would get stuck. The bathroom door knob got stuck and my husband could not get out of the bathroom. The actual door knob came completely off. Cons: Property is going through renovations and therefore it has big plastic coverings on every level floor. The hotel didn't smell pleasant and the furniture in the rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast was not good and there is not much of a variety. Overall you get what you pay for, but not bad for a 1 night stay.

Our stay was great for all two days. My only negative was the Luggage Cart, which was very hard to steer. I would stay again without hesitation.

Hotel was old, dirty and falling apart. Did not have pillows or linens for the sofa bed, which was booked for 3 people with a king and a sofa for my child. When you pulled the sofa out, it didn’t fit in the room so you hit your leg on it when you walked by, there was mold on the vents, the pool was not heated and water cloudy only a few lights working in pool and hanging from ceiling, hot tub boarded up. We could have stayed at a newer red roof inn for half the price with no pool and been better off. Lots of things broken around the hotel and held together with wire.

Cons: VERY dated and unclean. Room was in taters - hole in wall/divider, black out curtain was broken and completely stained, sheer curtain had a huge rip in it, duvet cover had a huge rip in it and was stained, a face cloth was left hanging in the shower upon our arrival, bottom of shower curtain had mildew. Staff was pleasant and did fix the broken curtain upon our request and said they would replace the ripped one after we left. I took the duvet off the bed and requested a new one and we did receive that. Overall, I would not stay here considering there are so MANY other options in the immediate area.

Traveling for a sports tournament in the area. The lady at the front desk was on a private call while we were trying to check in and there was a whole line behind us. Not professional. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Very pleased with the pool, but the hot tub was boarded off and there were tiles missing from what looked like a pipe leak in the hallway. The exercise room was out of order as well. Overall not a bad stay. However, customer service could be a little bit better and they have a few things they need to fix

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament, unfortunately we couldn't make our first night d/t snow storm and missed the modification date so couldn't change.. the only problem was finally getting ahold of the hotel to notify, I'm assuming because of the storm, once I got a hold everything was taken care of by hotel. Romm was as described two beds and sofa bed. Room clean with mini fridge and microwave some basic wear and tear . Wish fridge got cooler and that you could make room warmer without cutoff. Warm breakfast available but no toast or bacon and only one waffle maker that had a line :( elevator was fast and carts available for unpacking. Staff friendly but wish front desk would not speak another language when working with customer to another employee I think they were training the other person but made the interaction a lil weird. Wish sofabed linen was supplied in rooms. Ice machines available, vending machines cash only but there is a lil shop with items not badly priced. Parking lot felt safe. Easy access to stores and places to eat. Would stay again. Beds comfy. No smoke smell. Friendly staff.

The only concern we had with the stay is that when we went to check in the clerk was on her personal cell phone and stayed on it for a good 2 to 3 minutes before she walked up to the counter to check us in, but still talked on her cell phone while she was trying to check us in.

This hotel is well situated for restaurants , gas stations and easy highway access. The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk people were helpful. Breakfast could have been better.

Hallways have rippled old rugs, dirty walls. 1st walking into our room, it smells. Walls dirty, no linens for the fold out sofa, lights are broken and dont work. The room is good size, bed is comfortable, breakfast was hot, limited selection. Slow draining kitchen sink. Pool room is only half lit, pool is clean and warm.

For a dog friendly hotel, the building and grounds were extremely clean and there was an abundance of grassy areas. The suite was very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

It was filthy, the elevator left me wondering if I would make it to the next floor and the breakfast was atrocious. The towels were so worn out they had areas where it was almost see through and there were stains on the couch, it’s a NO from me.

Room size good; disabled bath good. Older property needs upgrades; Noisy fridge and AC. Desk chair appears to be broken.

We stayed here in part because the listing said they have a hot tub and an exercise room. Neither of these are open for use. Our first room smelled very very musty so we were given another room that was much better. The property looks updated in the lobby but the rest of the hotel, while clean, needs a thorough re-do.

Room 100 was the worst moldy, pungent smell I’ve ever experienced. The whole 1st floor smelled awful. We toughed out the 1st night but we were able to change rooms for the 2nd. It was a slightly better smelling room. Room 100 should never be used again. It was awful.

Arrived during hurricane Helene, and we were accommodated with no issues.

Don’t expect to enjoy the breakfast, it’s edible but not good.

We needed a place to escape from the remnants of Helene and the conditions in Western North Carolina. This property was convenient to food choices and allowed us to bring our dogs. We actually checked out a day earlier than expected. Is there any way to get a refund for one night due to our situation?

Doesn’t allow locals…. Like seriously during a natural disaster and you kick people out because they are local? We’ve been without power for three days with multi medical family members and they kicked us out today. What a dumb policy. This company will be blasted for being so greedy and ignorant. We will tell friends not to go there.

I had the A/C set to 70. My last night I woke up around midnight, the thermostat read 75. The air would turn on for a second then turn back off. I got very little sleep.

The pictures are much nicer than the real thing, service was fine, but the hotel is very outdated and kinda falling apart. Pool was very cold and not the cleanest. They need to really work on their facilities !!!

This property does not accept local residents even from as far away as Charlotte, be careful making reservations here if you are from anywhere in SC because you may potentially lose the ENTIRE amount of funds that you paid to book the hotel.Its ridiculous and should be illegal.

Waffles oj cramberry juice yogurt sausage muffins ceral milk. Although i would have liked the option for fresh fuit. Balancing breakfast quality with welcoming staff that enjoys people while being enthusiastic and helpful without negative judgment of others would have made this more of an enjoable stay. The staff members we encountered August 24 2024 seemed to hate life in general.

We stayed a week here for a cornhole tournament. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Room service was very respectful and on top of everything.

Overall the stay was good. Staff was friendly and greeted me among check-in. Breakfast was okay with the basics; sausage, eggs, waffles. Location is nice with plenty of stores, restaurants and fast food to choose from. My only issue during my stay is the cleanliness of my room. I was in room 106. The carpet is heavily stained and needs a cleaning or even replaced. I would probably stay again if in the area.

They were courteous but not engaging or responsive. Just flat.

Great location and options for eating or shopping all around. Room smelled musty. Found one dead cockroach under pull out sofa. Hallways were hot and musty. Typically stay at hotels within the Marriott family, but they were all booked, probably would not stay at this location again.
