Although the guest services were excellent, I ended up moving out after one nights stay. The smell of mold was overwhelming and tiny bugs were bitting me all night. I was afraid to take a shower because of how the fixtures looked. There was also what appeared to be a dried up blood stain on the bed covers. My money was refunded and I was able to immediately move into another hotel where my stay was marvelous. I’m so sorry to make such an unpleasant review.

Quiet, nice breakfast. Too much carbohydrates. Lack of meat at breakfast . I do not like boiled eggs. Lack of elevator and inconvenient doors to open.

Our room had an odor and one of the , supposedly clean towels had a period stain, otherwise it was clean Room air purifier . Ask laundry to be sure all linen is really clean.

We checked in a little early and the front desk was welcoming and let us check in early. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic. Fried potatoes, biscuits & gravy, toast and fruit. My husband is diabetic and he was very limited in what he could have.

When I got to the hotel, I was greeted by two desk staff members. I don’t remember the girls name but she was younger and super sweet. Once I arrived to the room, I opened the door and was greeted by a strong smell of mildew and it was a bit musty. I went straight back downstairs and asked for my room to be changed. Which was denied. The owners (I assume it was them. Husband and wife) were sitting on one of the couches and said they would clean again. I explained that I wanted another room and they denied my request. I then went to the store for bleach after they said they were going to go spray my room. I had already paid in full so I figured there was nothing that I can do. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. I didn’t eat the breakfast. Parking lot was cool. The other front desk woman was rude (older one). I’ll be writing a review on google with pictures that I took. Long story short, if you are looking for a cheap room (I paid $280 for two nights) no elevator, a rude staff member and owners, half way cleaned room, and the smell of old bathroom….then this hotel is for you.

Everything was a mess from the start: the key card didn't work, the lamps inside the room didn't work, the room was filthy, the fridge was making loud noises and had to unplugg it.... the breakfast was mediocre at best. So yeah, my mistake for booking in this hotel.

Clean and friendly. The mattress was not very comfortable in that particular room. The place is still a good stop for us when we are on our way to Florida.

We visited this hotel for our daughter's graduation from Winthrop University. My parents (both over 85+ years old) also stayed at the hotel. They came down the day of graduation and it was our initial plan for them to just hang out in our room before the ceremony. However, we were put in a second floor room and the hotel does not have an elevator, so they couldn't come up to our room. Instead of making them sit in the lobby all day, the hotel clerk was able to get their room ready ASAP and was able to get them in their room within 30 minutes of their arrival. Also, we asked to use their eating area so that my family could all each lunch together since my parents weren't able to come to our room. They allowed us to each there, not only for lunch, but later that evening when we celebrated my daughter's graduation. I did not like them not having an elevator, but it is only a 2 story hotel.

The property is clean and smells good the only thing is that the tub is not clean and the toilet have a low water pressure but other than that our stay is great. Just the tub and toilet

This is a good dog friendly place to stay. We never have the breakfast because we are always up and on the by 5:00 AM. We stop here twice a year on our migration to and from FL and ME.

Arrived late and assigned us a room which had a very loud noise unable to sleep. Had to work a while for staff to assign us a new room. Finally got a new room not as nice as first room. Finally had a good night’s sleep good beds. Breakfast in the morning was OK. Overall I would give the hotel an average score. Night staff were helpful in solving the problem as hotel was all booked. Place was clean.

Nothing like I expected and for $150 on a Sat night the bathroom should have been cleaned before having to give us another room do to that door not locking when we went to leave. I will say the owner (I'm assuming or manager) was very nice once he found out we were on a time crunch for prom but it took a while to get him on the phone. There was no rush at first until we had to remind them of the time schedule we had. The pool had NO water in it. Just a disappointment and wasn't offered any discounts for everything that was wrong

The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and easily accessible. Make sure you get a first floor room if you are handicapped or have mobility issues as there is no elevator. The stairs were clean and safe though. Breakfast was standard continental style but good. Everything was great except the bed. My husband slept well but I didn't sleep at all. The bed was too soft - there wasn't any support. I couldn't get comfortable unfortunately. Hopefully they upgrade the beds soon.

Stayed here because of the high rating and we were attending events in Charlotte which is about 20 minutes away. The extra travel was worth the drive as this hotel was very easy to get to, plenty of places around to eat and get groceries (if you need any). Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Could use a little more variety in the hot breakfast menu was my only complaint, but not a big deal. Would stay here again.

Don’t be scared off by the economical price. This hotel is fabulous! It was located in a central area close to the interstate and had a good breakfast. If the pool wasn’t closed it would have been 5 stars!

It’s not going to be the fanciest place, but it’s decent and clean and has become my go to when I’m in Rock Hill. It’s not expensive, it’s clean, they have a breakfast included (waffles, eggs, yogurt, sausage), it’s close to everything (Winthrop Univ., all the restaurants, grocery store, Walmart), the staff is super friendly and it’s right off the highway for easy access. The air conditioner/heater always works, showers have hot water. I really have no complaints about this hotel. There is no elevator, but there’s only 2 floors. They do allow pets- that’s a positive for some and a negative for others.

Due to a severe snowstorm the Charlotte airport was shut down. No flights allowed in for 2 days. I had kept in touch with the hotel to let them know my status as early in day flight was being rebooked. Once i knew Charlotte airport was on a groundstop I let the hotel know I would not make it. They stilled charged me for a one night stay.

Instead we found a modern well maintained hotel with high end finishes. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was typical of most hotel free breakfasts and I was surprised that there were even a few hot offerings. I will definitely consider staying again on my next visit to Rock Hill.

The place is nicely updated which I liked. The room could have been cleaner overall. But the beds seemed clean and that's about the most important thing. We enjoed the exercise room. And the breakfast was nice.

Everything was wonderful except the bathtub, which had soap scum and a bathtub ring. The rubber bath mat that was already in place had not been pulled up and cleaned underneath in an eternity - it was black and disgusting. I wouldn't even take a shower. Unfortunately, because of the bathtub, I wouldn't return.

The room was great for the price, very spacious. The comforter did have a few burn marks but nothing terrible. The staff were great, very friendly. Not a lot of options for breakfast, but the biscuits and gravy with potatoes was good and hot. We did wish that they had water available in the breakfast area, as there was only tea, coffee, and juice. Overall for the price we were very pleased with our stay!

Easy location to get on the interstate down from York technical college close to shopping. Very nice. I will definitely be going back to this hotel

The room was far greater than could have ever been expected for that price point (80ish per night). The lobby attendant Amanda was absolutely amazing and our entire stay (4 days) was ultra cumfy and quiet the entire time.10 outta 10 would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We walked into the room and it smelled very musty. So, we asked the receptionist to change rooms, she seemed bothered, but did change our room. The next room smelled musty as well, but got a little better once the air got going. Suggestion to turn on the room’s air before your guest arrive. The bathroom was as clean as it could have been and some of our towels looked dirty.

Definitely not worth over $100/night. The toilet paper wasn't restocked, stains on the bedding, shower wasn't cleaned. This is cheap motel but with expensive prices.

Very welcoming

Rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. I would have given 5 stars but "breakfast " was not very good. Waffles tasted weird and coffe was meh. No actual juices.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Felt like sleeping on a concrete slab. Lacked functioning modern conveniences.( USB changing ports broken)

Honestly, i had my doubts when I saw the pics and the high reviews. But this place is real and at the nightly rate, it's a definite 5 out of 5 stars. I didn’t see a pool pic when booking but they do have a pool outdoors. The hotel looks renovated, clean, smells amazing and worth every penny. We stayed in a back room at the end, which is why i believe the wifi signal was fluctuating. Everything else was great. I travel a lot and can confidently say 5 stars for sure. This is now a part of our stops on our annual trip.

Felt very unsafe. If it hadn’t been so late and I’d already paid, I would have found new accommodations. Pretty sure there were drugs being consumed in the parking lot. No elevators, limited parking in the “safer” parts of the lot. Will not be back and cannot recommend others stay here

Nice place

I reserved a room because the Expedia rating was “Wonderful”. I found the motel to be “OK” at best. It was remodeled but still smelled aged or had too much air freshener added in common areas.

Very convenient location just off I77.

Our room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom. There was mold in the shower and the sink and toilet appeared to not have been cleaned. Some of the towels were stained as well. This was surprising since so many reviews commented on the cleanliness. Maybe it was just our room, but there is definitely a need for deep clean.

This property was very clean, comfortable and convenient to the interstate. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. It was very reasonable and they included breakfast. It had been a long day and this was a great travel stop.

Bathroom was not clean and much updating needs to be done. Things are not to code for certain. No bug covers on the mattresses, extension cords with multiple things plugged in etc. ice machine was filthy like someone puked in it. These are just some of the things. I worked for Best Western for 15 years so I don’t expect perfection but this hotel needs to up their game. The room also smelled musty.

Excellent stay for a value price.

This is a very nice hotel with excellent facilities. The bathroom was spacious as was the room. Everything was very clean and the morning coffee was good.

Friendly and courteous employees.

Easy check-in, friendly service, lobby is welcoming, very nicely done and smells amazing. Convenient location and feel safe in the area. We liked that the management has a posted sign for quiet time after 10 PM. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom needs a bit more attention, shower in particular. Mold on caulking in tub. Slight musty odor coming from the A/C. Requested different room and that room was the same with musty odor. Breakfast was very good. Had a nice variety to choose from. In all our stay was good, attention to detail in the bathrooms and A/C maintenance should be a priority.

This place was amazing. Super clean, people were super nice. One of the nicest hotels I've been to especially for the price. Would gladly stay here again. Renee the receptionist was exceptional as well.

Not enough lighting in the room

Clean property only a few miles from downtown Rock Hill

We were in town for a U14 Perfect Game Baseball tournament. The Clarian met and exceeded all expectations from check in to breakfast, getting extra towels and toothpaste to getting an extended checkout. It was great location to the game, sporting goods stores along with food and entertainment. I would definitely recommend and stay there again for future events.

This is a very nice place, I’d recommend it for a few nights stay. Clean facility and nice cup of joe in the morning.

Area has a lot of homeless

Only stayed 1 night but it was great and would definitely stay again. Super quiet! Good location. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a nice size. Felt secure

The property feels safe and secure. The rooms are nice and clean.

Liked the breakfast. Nice gym. Pool decent Need more outdoor lounge chairs by the pool. No elevator to carry luggage. No front automatic door to bring luggage inside the hotel. The fact that there is an outdoor pool was not on the website.

The room was neat, clean a tidy. The bathroom did have a little bit of mildew along the caulk line at the tub. But wasnt terrible. The HVAC sort of worked. Had temp set at 69 to cool room down. It would blow for 10 min and then shut off for 10-15 seconds the. Blow againl Both of these issues need to be addressed but there is absolutely no reason why I wouldnt stay there again. There are multple bofto.s

My stay was short but this hotel was very nice and clean. I will be back again when the occasion arises again. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends. A hidden jewel.

Quiet. I know there were other guests there, but barely heard or saw them. Con: Washing machine has only one water temp setting (med-hot). Low flow shower is always a bit of a bummer.

Clean nice rooms..property may look funny from pictures but it’s a nice places to stay ..it was not a lot of nothing going on around the property..I’m a travel AAU coach ..I do travel a lot and this is a great place to stay from my prospective

Quiet and clean

I was turned off from this place as soon as I walked in the room. The towels displayed were different colors. Two were off white and one was white and brown. Please keep in mind that all three towels should have been WHITE. The fact that the towels were discolored and clearly dirty, was very disappointing. If the property is okay with displaying dirty towels, I figured their standards must be low and I couldn’t trust them with anything else. The bed was basically a pull out bed (a cot on top of a squeaky metal frame.) I will never choose to stay at this property again.

Was a nice place to stay. The hotels were clean and the break was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the way they run housekeeping. The front desk I guess does not have access to providing towels or wash clothes after a certain time. And they are kind of rude when letting you know.

The area around the entrance but not the entire parking area. Room was clean and orderly but the door did not latch properly, it took several tries to get it to catch. Breakfast was okay and the area well stocked and clean.

Staff is very friendly. Only complaint I had was about the dirt linen and the lady at the front desk gave me more. Other than that I will stay again.
