The staff was amazing all weekend! Overall, the property is nice, feels safe, and is clean. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, and it could use a good, deep cleaning. There were some stains on the couch and carpet areas that appeared to have come from children. The room size is PERFECT for having kids with a large "living" area and kitchen!

Excellent staff and service! Rooms were clean and felt new. It was a very comfortable environment and the full kitchen with utensils + free breakfast is hard to beat. Definitely my favorite stay in Roanoke.

The hotel seemed nice when we first arrived. The lobby and outside were clean. The first thing we noticed when we got to our room was the oder. It smelled like cleaner mixed with pot and cheap cigars. The couch and desk chair had body fluids on them. The curtains had what we think was small spots of blood on them. We didn't notice the couch, chair, or curtains until the next day. We had arrived late and just needed rest. The bed was clean but was very hard. It was like sleeping on the floor. The staff was helpful. Not what we were expecting out of a Marriott.

My family stayed here while attending a funeral.. the staff was great, the breakfast delicious, rooms were large and clean. We enjoyed gathering in the lobby to watch the basketball finals and played pool with all our cousins… thank you for being a safe and comfortable home base for our family…

Air freshener in common areas is overwhelming. Literally made my eyes itch. Do not use ice machines. Filters had not been replaced since 2021. I’ve contacted Marriott directly to report this. Someone can get very sick from this. Room was subpar. Cabinets were worn and grout missing from bathroom tiles.

It was amazing but some things in the room could use some attention; like the rug and closet door can be designed different, the bathroom could use a table after all it was roomy enough. Room 405 oh by the way the sofa needs fluffing.

The check-in was friendly and informative. The room was quiet and mostly clean but there was some damage to the sofa and a desk chair probably from a dog. We reported it. It was not that easy getting Wi-Fi but we finally got in. Never had that problem at any other Marriott. The breakfast was good.

The cleaning staff were so kind as well. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Plus it’s just 5 minutes away from valley view mall and lots of shopping!

loved the space completely. fully stocked, clean, new appliances, beautiful. bed was comfy and everything was very clean. liked the bathroom setup. loved having a separate sofa. i really loved the room, best ever. a few of the employees were miserable. except the morning desk clerk - she was super nice and helped me.

I was on the 4th floor, which was nice until the wind started. It howled! Breakfast was included, but it was just okay. They had a note for gluten free customers, but gave a chocolate muffin? How about having some gluten free bread in the FREEZER for when a celiac or sensitive person needs bread instead of a chocolate muffin with eggs? Breakfast staff were not very friendly, unlike staff everywhere else. Overall, the room was clean, well maintained, in a good location, and the staff outstanding.

Our room was great! It was roomy, at the end with no neighbors on either side (laundry room & stairway) & quiet. Every employee we encountered was so nice. Being right off the interstate was very nice. Loved having a fireplace too. The kitchen had anything you would need. Big rooms and having the sink separate from the shower & toilet, was wonderful. Comfortable furniture with enough mirrors. Our only complaint was, when we pulled out the dining chair, there was a chip on the carpet. A very minor thing. We were really happy with our decision to book here!

Check-in with Cindy was welcoming and friendly! Room was beaitiful and comfortable! Breakfast was good. Special requests were accomodated well. Only inconvenience was from our ground floor room, we could hear/feel every loud footstep from the room above us.

My stay was very pleasant. The only thing that was wrong was a stain on the carpet and the dirty mirrors.

The only thing about the stay that was not to my liking was that the food they have for purchase was very expensive. The breakfast (take & go due to COVID) was good according to my grandkids.

Great stay, kids loved the fireplace. Netflix and Prime were available on the tv. Kitchen was large. Only negative was that WiFi was not accessible in our room. Would stay here again.

I felt as though the staff were doing everything possible to keep us safe and that all precautions were taken. But after we had spent one night in our room I noticed dust on the wall under the air conditioning vent. This made me uncomfortable knowing that we had been breathing that in all night.

The best hotel to stay at. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is great as always when I stay here and because of that I keep returning. Close to stores and restaurants as well the high ways. Fully equipped kitchens. Being that I love to cook it work out in my favor. And it’s close enough to visit my family. Never had any issues here! I fully recommend this hotel!!!

The hotel was exceptionally clean. I also appreciated the breakfast selection. It was still really good even given all the covid restrictions. It was significantly better Than anywhere else I’ve stayed since covid started.

A lot of noise coming from nearby rooms, people talking really loud until 5am. Also smoking in their rooms, al that smell got into our rooms through the bathroom vent

At this Roanoke Residence Inn property, the cleanliness met my expectations. I felt safe and quite comfortable during my one night stay there. This is of vital importance during the current pandemic crisis, as my five year-old is traveling with us.

They insist on guest wearing mask. Great. Why was the reception staff and housekeeping staff not wearing one? Breakfast served only until 9 am is not good on a weekend.

Very nice room and the bed was great. We had a smoke smell which I think was coming from the vent in the bathroom. At first I thought it was from outside, we had the window open. Than we were gone all day and the window was closed. I went into the bathroom an it smelled like someone was smoking. It was late and I close the door and turned the vent on. I told the clerk at check out. Have not heard back.

Good location and works for a more apartment like experience. There was animal poop under the nightstand, however, which is inexcusable. Awarded points but couldn't redeem them at my next Marriott stay.

We were driving cross country to get my niece home to her family before the Corona Virus got really bad. This was one of our overnight stops. It was really clean, very spacious and dog friendly. We couldn't have the free breakfast since they weren't putting it out due to the virus but it didn't matter. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and the hospitality was impeccable. If I happen to go there again I will definitely stay here. Thanks for making our trip great!

It was great when i look for hotels now that is the 1st hotel i will look at to see if they have any in the area im staying it was a perfect layout for my family. That was my 1st time staying they and my experience was amazing
