    I would like to give five stars but unfortunately it wasn’t the best stay. Upon arrival the staff was changing out a keg and he didn’t do it properly and sprayed my whole side with beer while waiting to check in. Then we were offered the 6th floor because it was a quiet floor but they failed to mention they had only one elevator working. Each time we used the elevator we waited 20 to 30 minutes. Breakfast staff was not the most pleasant to deal with, no smiles and grumbled when told they were out of food. Also paid for parking in the garage but when we returned in the evening there was no spots left. We won’t return.

    The hotel was convenient in downtown Riverside. I like the text messaging for help at the hotel. But I wished I was told we had to pay for parking. If you stay here and have a vehicle, you do have to pay $29 per day for your stay. Breakfast was great!

    The occupancy sensors that shut the tv off even though I am in the room, laying on the bed. This happened many times, and most times this happened, it was about every 15 minutes; incredibly annoying, especially when I am just laying there watching.

The only downside was some unsavory people lingering outside the hotel and some intoxicated guests lingering in the lobby.

    We stayed here for the final night of our honeymoon and out of all the places that we stayed this was my least favorite. Despite letting them know that it was our honeymoon they put us on a lower floor room which meant we had a ton of road noise. It’s on a fairly busy street and there were loud vehicles driving by frequently. In addition to this, when I got there, I was told that they charged for parking. This was not something that was obvious in the listing at all. They did end up pumping it, which I appreciated, but it was frustrating that there was some hidden charges. It’s a really nice hotel but I’m not sure I would stay there again and it definitely didn’t make for a great last night of our honeymoon.

They had the best pool hours of any hotel I've been to previously. There were several areas to hang out, both inside and out. We loved that coffee & tea were always available in the lobby. We also liked that the hotel was located close to CVS and some good food spots. I know some people search for hotels with breakfast included; it was a pleasant surprise when we learned there was breakfast here. The issue with the breakfast was the selection and the quality of the eggs. For example, we agreed there should have been more yogurt options, or at least an option for plain. The location was confusing, and when we first arrived at the wrong hotel, they mentioned that it happens a lot. I think a sign by the Homes2 hotel directing you to the Hampton entrance would have helped a ton, especially since Google's GPS led us to the side of the building instead of the front entrance. It seemed like a safe area, but walking to the convenience store right down the street, I got catcalled more in those 5 minutes than in my entire life.

    2. They charge for parking and there is not enough parking. I had to park on the street, and I did not sleep well. The night I stayed the clerk told everyone to park in the handicap and loading zone. The next morning cars were towed, but we were told to park there. I was very unhappy and left mad.

    Had a horrible experience the people above made so much noise hard to sleep after having a long day. Woken up at 1130 pm again at 230 am then again at 5 am. Called the front desk 3xs. It was nice and clean just difficult to get rest.

    Wasn’t able to check into my room until way after check in. Kids running everywhere making it a complete nightmare. Breakfast too many kids serving themselves and touching everything leaving a huge mess. Was told I was going to get my parking fee waived since we weren’t able to get ready in my hotel room. I get it they were understaffed but why wouldn’t that be known to customers. For the price I paid for one night it should have been ready at least by four. Kids running up and down hallways with no Parent supervision ver upsetting Not being able to get into my room until 9pm. Getting charged full price for everything. Not being able to grab breakfast comfortably. The noise level was terrible. I felt like I was at Disneyland waiting for everyone and getting bumped trying to get breakfast never again

    Second, the man who checked us in was so rude and acted like we were bothering him because we needed to check in. He was not friendly and not welcoming and it was a disappointing way to start our stay. Finally, while watching a movie in our room, the power and tv kept going off every 20 minutes or so. I finally called the front desk and they said it’s a power saving feature and everything will turn off if you aren’t moving around the room. That’s absurd! I shouldn’t have to get up every 20 minutes and walk around the room for the power to stay on. Such an inconvenience. So, while it’s a nice enough hotel I think there’s likely others in the area that would work just as well.

    The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was very clean as well, and I liked that it was decorated to be festive and in alignment with the holidays. But one thing I did not like was when I arrived it was really hard to find parking I felt like I took the last parking spot in the entire parking structure and what I didn’t like is that I had to pay for parking that was not optimal upon my return because there were cars that were parked outside of the parking structure all the way out around the lobby because there was no more space for parking so I had to park my car elsewhere other than that my stay was very comfortable, but I feel like if you’re going to charge for parking then you should have a guaranteed parking spot in the parking structure.

    Upon check-in, I stood in line for a solid 10 minutes while 2 employees stood behind the counter talking. Only when I said "can someone check us in?" did they then do so. Quite odd, as the hotel is very nice. HOWEVER... STAY AWAY!!! The hotel is built with some BS energy savings safeguards. The TV, AC unit and overall power goes off in the room if you're not constantly moving around in it. I kid you not!!! The front desk confirmed it. You cannot watch TV in bed nor use the AC or heat while sleeping!!!

    The room was great, perfect amount of space including room to stretch, do yoga. Pleasant colors and decor. Large shower, perfect water pressure (that’s important to me!) Absolutely clean, very nice toiletries. Only annoying thing was the light sensor shut everything off every 10-15 minutes, including the TV. I appreciate energy conservation, it’s just not great for sitting quietly reading a book or watching a movie. But otherwise would recommend. Staff was great, too.

    .For a 90 year old failing mind, I woud have liked a clear explanation on hw to operte te elevator. Got in and punched floor and nothing happened. Little frightening as I though I was trapped. Appreciate the convuloted manner to operate the elevator, but staff should be alert for old people getting into a elevator that has gizmos before operating.

    They had no on site parking due to construction which was fine…the staff was NOT clear they charged for this major inconvenience which was the hotels issue. I was charged a standard fully refundable security deposit of $100 which was explained as such, so when I only got $70 back I asked why of course and they said they charged me for parking at $29.90. That was the price for valet service in which I did not use, I parked my own car down the street at an off site parking facility and I was given a QR code to park there overnight for FREE! They told me after I called asking about the refund being light that everyone gets charged parking whether you use the valet or not! WHAT????

    We loved it! The hotel was beautiful , comfortable and their breakfast area was the best ! I would have wanted a heads up on the deposit. I had called days before to make sure everything was covered ,asked if there was any deposits and I was told no . But it was fully refunded . Will return and recommend

    The valet parking was very convenient. The hotel was close to the freeway, close to the venue i attended and close to a variety of restaurants. All the staff i encountered, were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommended this hotel.

    The front desk staff are also all very very nice and deserve raises. Each time I stay here I've had great experiences. I only wish that the Hilton honors would offer better perks other than 2 bottles of water. It was sad to hear that you had to be platinum to receive the snack box.

    Cards for elevators and doors constantly stopped working. Breakfast was ok, no fruit put out. Got locked out in pool area because keycard stopped working. Never had anyone come replace towels and clean up a bit, yet they left envelope out to tip.

    Th hotel is a very nice place to stay with clean rooms, breakfast, etc. However, the parking situation is problematic as there is no onsite parking with the construction going on. Allow PLENTY of time for the valet as the text system they use to get your car does not work well. Otherwise this is a great hotel.

    Mattress was not comfortable. Rooms were clean breakfast was great but liked the sausage yesterday than the patties this morning. Valet service was great. Needed a night stand for both beds. No safe in the room. Elevators were great. Staff were great. Needed bottles of water in the room.
