For starters, they asked me for a $50 deposit when it’s not even on the site so I did it and when I checked out, they gave me a refund for 4750 on my debit card when I checked my account was on there when I went back today, they took it. The rooms are filthy. The bed look like someone has slept in it and they just made it up it was stained the washcloths and towels are stained. The room wasn’t clean and not to mention the carpet in the bathroom and nail sticking out of it do not go to this place. They will ask for a refund and steal your money pretend a refund you back and not give it back. They are a bunch of crooks.

This is not a mint on your pillow place but it does the job. It's got the basics down. Modern entry card tap reader to the door worked the first time which is more than I can say for some more expensive motels. The air conditioner was kinda noisy which on a low setting was was perfect for drowning out road noise. I slept great. The Salvadorian restaurant across the road was perfecto but have your translator app ready as not much English is spoken there. Not having a bar lock on the door interior was a first, can't remember ever being in a room without one. That white noise air conditioner was a bit grimey, could use a deep clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and my experience was a mix of extremes. The first night was honestly awful. Check-in got off to a frustrating start when I was unexpectedly told there was a $50 cash deposit, even though the listing clearly stated $30. To make matters worse, the staff member handling check-in was rude and disengaged—spending more time on their phone than assisting me, while I stood there in the middle of a thunderstorm. The room itself didn’t help matters either: it was noisy, and getting a comfortable night’s sleep was nearly impossible. Surprisingly, the second night was a complete turnaround. Everything was quiet and peaceful, and I was finally able to rest properly. It felt like an entirely different environment compared to the night before. Checkout was smooth and efficient, and I did receive my full deposit back without any issues, which I appreciated. Overall, this stay was very inconsistent. While the second night redeemed things slightly, the poor first impression and uncomfortable start make it hard to fully recommend without hesitation.

Should I be thankful I had running water? 1. Holes in wall and furniture. 2. Cigarette burns and furniture. 3. Carpet and tile filthy. 4. Operator was belligerent. 5. Booking.com said refundable $30. Owner required $50 and then took a processing fee out of my deposit when returned to me. 6. I had to argue to get a no smoking room.

It was great for a quick overnight stay. Smoking room and clean was key for me. I will there were a couple of burn marks on things like people don't know how to use an ashtray. Other than that no problems. Also great customer service!

This place is very loud at night also the staff not friendly and corrupt, they refused to give me the $50 deposit back and when i threatened to call the credit card company they said they will issue a refund and the card has to be present but in first place they charged the card and the card wasn’t present. Very good value in a smaller motel with well maintained units containing the most needed amenities - microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV, WiFi. King bed had king-sized pillows which were too big. No lobby so you have to stand outside and register through a window.

The hotel is very cut and dry. There is wi-fi but besides that, nothing special is offered. It was central to a bunch of locations including Downtown Richmond, the Chesterfield Mall, and so many restaurants. For the price, I would stay there again!

Was promised 1st floor room in message from property via Expedia, but was put on the 2nd floor anyway when i arrived.

This Motel was a last minute idea. we were all tire of driving and ready to crash. We got a bed and a shower, that was really all we were looking for. The microwave was missing a knob but it worked, you just had no idea how long you had set the time for. the mini refrigerator had a block of ice in the corner where the freezer section was suppose to be, so it didn't cool very well. Each time you flush the toilet you had to lift the cover off the tank a little because the flush button got stuck every time. The light in the bathroom didn't come on for 30 seconds once you flipped the switch. The A/C worked great. I guess we got exactly what we expected for $50 bucks.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are well kept and the wifi is encrypted. The only thing is I was a little put off at how the person in front of me at check-in was treated.

NEEDS: More than one (1) hand towel per room. Cartoon Network added to television choices (Cartoon Network is a standard choice on most cable systems. Best satire on TV after 8pm.). Outside trash cans at locations other than the ends of the line of rooms. OVERALL: The exterior is slightly shabby. The rooms are not. Best product for the price. I will stay there again.

Hotel was surprisingly clean and decent inside the room. The area isn't the nicest. The room we were assigned was right off the main road, so VERY noisy all night long. Room only had one channel.

No accommodations... I wasn't able to cancel my reservation due to a glitch in the portal and they still kept my money and did not try to accommodate the service at all. The customer service is terrible and they barely comprehend English.

It was the worst experience of our lives. The woman who owns the place. The Indian couple, has a baby that screeches all night long !! In addition we politely requested fresh towels and were rudely told NO. So we went with our towel. Judge roaches and assorted bugs. The floors were filthy. And the ghetto welfare crowd she has living there parties all night long. Also there is no hot water. The remote is broken and no coffee as advertised. Overall, deplorable and a complete disaster. Stay away at all costs.

I did not like the fact that I had to ring a doorbell to be admitted into the "office" for check in. I also did not like the fact that I was unable to receive ANY documentation proving that I checked in. I needed that information to request reimbursement from my job for overnight travel.

Decent motel for the price. Easy parking. Easy to get to. Close to restaurants, fast-food, Kroger super Market Place, numerous shopping ops. This motel is not top-of-the-line, nor bottom-of-the-barrel. It's "good enough." And the price is right.

A quaint family run motel right off the turnpike in Richmond. I felt safe and secure over night here. The family that runs it is very nice and amenable.

The property was neat and tidy, check in was relaxing and nearly effortless. The staff was helpful, welcoming and kind. The room was spacious and adequate. My only issues were 2 fold: there was no soap in the room for hand washing or bathing, and although there was a small coffee pot and one coffee bag provided, there wasn’t an actual cup to drink the coffee from. That said, in the future I will certainly bring the necessary accoutrements necessary to best utilize such amenities, and perhaps it was foolhardy for me to assume such items would be present. I can absolutely look past these things and substantially appreciate the value of my stay. For this comfortable price, I am certainly satisfied with the turnpike motel experience, and would recommend it to anyone, and will absolutely return in the future.

Check-in was quick and easy. I was a little uncomfortable seeing the plexiglas. But there were no issues. Comfortable bed. I slept well.

Hotel is bad, degraded, dirty. Not recommend to stay there. No shampoo, no napkins, no internet. However staffs are sweet.

I am a graduate student who travels from Northern Virginia to Richmond every week for an internship. I love my internship and I did not want to give it up because of money, so I searched on Hotels.com and came across this gem. It is cheap and nice for my overnight stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. There is however, no way to reach management unless you go to the lobby. However, that is something I can overlook because my internship is my stepping stone to my career.

This facility is an older one but the accommodations were superior in quality. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. The room smelled fresh. The linens on the bed were superior. One of the better stays I have had through hotels.com. The price was excellent.
