We had a minor inconvenience that Amanda was able to rectify. She was very kind and professional. What a great employee. Our first room had an odor. We thought it was smoke but the hotel is non-smoking. Could be that a pet had been in the room. Not sure, but Amanda was able to quickly change our room.

N/A I needed lo leave early to get to an event. I am entitled to concierge breakfast. Regretfully, I didn't have time to go there. My only concern as a physician is that the fluorescent lights surrounding the mirror in the bathroom over the sink were almost so blinding and potentially dangerous. After I left the bathroom where these lights border the mirror, I could still see an imprint of the border lights for about 20-30 seconds in my eyes. I felt this may have been the same as looking directly at the sun and may cause serious eye damage. After that, I did not put the bathroom light on, but use the lights in the hallway for my guidance.

A truly wonderful stay. The property is well-maintained and clean, with modern rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds (the variety of pillows was a great touch!). The 7th-floor lounge was a highlight, made even better by the attentive staff who truly made us feel welcome. I loved the location—tucked away in a quiet, wooded area but still offering easy access to downtown. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything was great. From entrance, lobby, room etc. My only complaint is that I got there at 4:35pm (check in at 4). My room was not ready and was told 45 minutes to an hour wait. I called at 5:20pm and got me a new room. Me and my fiancé was in town for Wiz Broadway show, so it could’ve been a let down if it was not corrected. Still 5/5 exceptional hotel!

overpriced. bad experience at check-in where they lost my reservation and I had to wait. toilet ran loudly all night.Tried to checkout and waited for someone to come to the front desk but no one was working.

The staff at the front desk were super friendly and very helpful with suggestions as to where to go in Richmond. And the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Location was the only good thing. Front desk was difficult and it was hard to check in all rooms at the same time. Status counts here. Status membership to Marriot a room was available at 1pm. None status membership check in was at 4pm. That room was actually not cleaned and we had to get a new room. Rooms are worn and somewhat clean (think quick sweep and not a deep clean). Beds decent but that’s it. Bathrooms outdated with low toilets and ancient bathtub showers. Not ADA compliant at all. Location is great but that’s it. Go to the Hilton we’re the rooms are clean and well maintained.

Room was very spacious and modern. Love the location of the facility; not too far away from stores. Couch and bed were extremely cozy. Bathroom was huge. Waterfall shower was very relaxing. Highly recommend.

The bed and cleanliness of the room I didn’t like the tv not working and having to call maintenance or I didn’t like that the staff knew of a long time customer that was staying next door to us and there was no warning that she has received multiple complaints. She knocked on our door claiming we were being loud when we were simply talking and she also called the front desk. This made us feel very uncomfortable and we ended up leaving at 1am shortly after the show we were there to see.

It is located in a central area. The AC and toilet in my room did not work. They couldn’t repair the toilet until the morning. They also said that they would fix the AC but they never did. I had to sleep without air conditioning or a working toilet. This is unacceptable.

Loved the layout of the lobby and the room. Only 1 elevator was operational and was disappointed not being afforded a late checkout with the cost of the room being slightly high.

We changed 3 rooms. All rooms were dirty, hair on the bed sheet, stains on the mattresses, clumps of hair behind the sofa bed. This is one of the worse experience i've had with staff that didn't really want to find solutions, i'm pretty sure they didn't even escalate this.

Dangerously understaffed, toilet broken with no one to fix it, phone not working, room lacked basic supplies. When i left in the morning at 5:45 am, NO ONE was on duty. No staff in evidence anywhere.

Not much. The property needs upgrades. Our toilet made a squealing noise fir 1 minute after flushing. The AC was noisy every time the fan turned off and on. One elevator was broken the entire time, leaving just one elevator working. Apparently, thus happens all the time.

The pool and fitness center are very small, and at times overcrowded. Not great if you want a focused workout. The reservoir outside the hotel is a gem. Nice walking path. Worth a stroll.

I was then charged a $230 incidental fee after being told that it’s just a hold in case the room gets messed up or things are ordered through room service. However, no such thing was done and I brought my own food with me and all I did was shower and sleep then checked out the next day

I stayed here for the convenience of being able to charge my car at the property and not having to drive to a supercharger. I found out late at night that out of four chargers that they have for Teslas only two are in commission and of course the two were occupied. I kept checking back every hour and the people, continue to charge the car. I had to drive between 15 to 20 minutes to and from to charge my car at a supercharger.

I stayed here for the convenience of being able to charge my car at the property and not having to drive to a supercharger. My biggest (and only real) issue was the waffle and pancakes we ordered from room service breakfast were very much undercooked and only partially edible. That being said, i would stay here again, but go out for breakfast.

From the moment we pulled up to the front entrance, the staff was fantastic, everyone was pleasant and professional. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and comfortable. I was there for a conference, and everything was perfect. My wife was with me, and the atmosphere was do relaxing, we stayed an extra night.

The rooms were quite nice. Missed the robes and extra amenities, but I understand you have to make a profit and those things add up. The decor was lovely to look at, but the seating furniture in the room was the most uncomfortable ever!!! Looks cool but try sitting in it to read a book. Had to go to the lobby were the barrel chairs were great.

Especially since these rooms around $200/night. There was hair in the shower, small spots of blood on the comforter and the carpet was soiled in the hallway and in my room as well. Lastly, when I preparing to check out, there was no one at the front desk. A couple of minutes later someone comes from the bar area and asked me if I’m checking out and how did I want my receipt. Not “How was your stay?” Overall this place is underwhelming and not worth the money in opinion. I will not be returning in the future.

Front desk manager seemed reluctant with poor customer service. Ordered a chicken dish from the restaurant, but trashed it as the chicken seemed under cooked. Thought about calling the restaurant for a refund but thought too much hassle:( Never coming back to this Hotel and I will be more cautious with booking Westin and Marriott.

Great hotel. Location is good if you have business in the area, but it’s not close for walking to historic parts of Richmond. I was in town for business so it was good for that purpose.

Just as when my wife and I stayed there three years prior, the beds are always super comfy. Our view from the seventh floor was beautiful. The real highlight to the trip was the stellar service from Kelsey, the food and beverage manager, and Lauren our server/bartender at hotel restaurant, Small Batch. They both were super friendly and an attentive to our needs. We look forward to staying there again soon

This was our second stay here. Our first stay was excellent this stay not so much. Hallway carpet was very stained. Room service dinner and breakfast was bad.

The hotel experience was quite disappointing. One elevator was out of order and the other malfunctioned, causing us to wait over 20 minutes each time we needed to go to or from our room. In town for a wedding, we initially had to take multiple trips down the stairs. Eventually, we were allowed to use the service elevator, which, although a long walk, spared us the wait. On the wedding day, my wife had to lift her dress to avoid water on the floor while using the service elevator, all while dressed in formal attire. Overall, it was a very poor experience. We usually prefer the Westin, but maybe we'll consider a Hilton property next time.

One of the elivators would not allow the card to register. the restaurasnt would not sell me one piece of toast and one egg. Had to waist food by ordering two and eating half, the manager of the restaurant did not know what marmalade was. the server knew.

Perfect off I64 but still quiet and relaxing. Plenty of dining options nearby ask the Concierge!!

Best hotel in Richmond

Excellent hotel! Clean, smells amazing, friendly staff.

The room had terrible stains in the carpet. It was so disgusting that I had to bathe my dogs after leaving your hotel. Never ever have I stayed in a hotel that looked so dirty. You should remove all horrific stains before renting a room or keep it out of commission. I would have taken pictures of the deplorable carpet condition if I had planned on providing a review just so you could understand what state the room was in.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was clean and service was lovely. No hassles over Wifi or bottled water, which I really appreciated. The food in their on-site restaurant was tasty! Ample room to sit in the lobby and work or comfortably sit and chat. If I’m ever in Richmond again, I’d stay here again for sure.

Absolutely amazing! The room was fantastic and the clubhouse staff were exceptional! It was the perfect time and space. I’ll definitely be back.

Outstanding Stay with Outstanding Service

I was in town for a wedding, and was very impressed. I was on the second floor which seemed like it had been renovated. It was clean, the beds were wonderful, the parking was free…I have zero complaints and would stay there again.

Checking out the ladie was rude and would not give me a print out receipt as requested because she told me that I did not need it. Left Sunday morning to fly back home and found that they closed the restaurant so no breakfast or coffee. This was not disclosed to us prior to staying or checking in. Made it so we could not have food for the rest of the day due to a 8 hour flight. Very disappointing as we stay here every year but next year will change.

The check-in process was easy hospitality was great. Food was great, and the check in person was very detailed and explaining all the amenities that the hotel has offer.

The hot water handle in the bathroom sink was not fastened down and moved around each time one turned the hot water on or off.

Would have been a nice stay, but bed bugs or some other pest made the first night awful. Everything was great in the room they switched me to for the second night. I would have expected some kind of compensation or credit towards purchases given the bug bites I'm taking home with me.

Clean but not especially comfortable. minimal toiletries available. Room not visited by housekeeping until late afternoon. Bed was nice.

Friendly. The room needs some bulbs changed. The bulbs don’t even match in our room but overall we love this place.

The Westin feels very safe and the parking was very easy and convenient. It was very hard to reach the front desk and I also had a weird feeling that my bed sheets were not clean- as if they just remade it from the last customer that slept there. That kind of creeped me out!

This was once likely a nice hotel- it needs some TLC. We weren’t sure our bed linens were all that clean and they didn’t seem to fit the bed properly. No one attended our room so we had to get clean towels, that were also old and worn. Lukewarm showers in a bathroom with worn out fixtures. We had an odd check in experience as well. The restaurant is nice however.

Excellent hotel stay. Loved being on the same floor as the executive lounge. This amenity and the staff working it were fantastic.
