The person who checked us in was very sullen and difficult to communicate with, as she barely spoke or acknowledged me. The vinyl flooring in the room felt unusual, but I suppose it's cleaner than carpet. The mattress was comfortable and the room felt clean. The bathroom was very good. The only bed pillows were small, square ones - again, unusual. The bed "skirt" was a loosely attached metal thing that made noise when I sat down or moved around. As I headed to the breakfast around 6:00 AM, two staff members were just leaving after setting it up. I was surprised how they talked and laughed loudly in the hallway right outside of other guest rooms; too bad for anyone still trying to sleep. The breakfast was nicer than expected for the price, with a hot waffle maker. The coffee seemed pretty watered down.

Breakfast is continental yet, they have some choices...you can even make waffles. Now the only thing is if you want your room cleaned, you have to let front desk know or they will not come. Other than that, it's a good place to stay.

It's about what you'd expect for a less than $100/ night. If money is tight I may consider staying here again. It felt safe and had restaurants close.

At breakfast i went down for coffee. There were no coffee cups and when i asked for one i was told they were out of them! I was told to use a juice cup which is about a 3 oz cup! A couple tables were unclean and the atmosphere was uninviting. No curtains or shades to cover the dirty windows. Will not stay there when i go to the Richmond area again.

The owner was super nice and very accommodating. The breakfast was very good. It was more than fruit and a cereal bar. There was always a group of people of Arabic/Indian ethnicity hanging around the gambling machines and in the lobby. It was somewhat unnerving. This is our second stay here and it was the same both times.

Ok the room was cool wasn’t that bad, bathroom was clean and the bed was clean and the water was hot for a shower. for the price. Now if Wyndham has partnered with this hotel then major upgrades shouldn’t be in the making.

Nothing Well my daughter's and I were attacked in the lobby. The person behind sat in the chair for about 30 mins not doing anything but sitting on the phone and getting the cops. I was holding the woman who was drunk back from my daughter's. Someone knocked on her door and she accused us because we were at the desk trying to get clean sheets for our beds. We got 2 different rooms, the first one they gave us toilet was clogged so had to move to another room on the second floor. So one on the first floor and one on the 2nd. When we went to talk to the service desk showing her pictures of the dirty sheets on the both beds, she asked if I wanted her to give me a clean sheet set so I could make the bed myself. It was beyond horrible experience and I will NEVER stay there again.

Front desk staff was courteous. At checkin, the front desk staff was not immediately available. She came from the elevator and it was apparent that she had been collecting soiled bed linens to be washed. Don’t know if this reflected insufficient staffing. The facility is old and needs to be refurbished. There is a pervasive odor of smoke (cigarette? Fire?) It permeates the carpeting and common areas. Wish Wyndham would invest in upgrading the facility. Bathroom facilities worked fine but the tub is extremely slippery.

The bathroom was clean, the staff was nice, the price was affordable. The bed frames were not stationary and slid any time you sat down on them, the mattresses slid off off the frames, our child and myself were injured on the frames, everything was sticky, the tv nor phone worked, the room had a foul smell, people were given blankets and pillows to sleep in the lobby.

The room was spotless, including the bathroom. Parking was plentiful and accessible. The property was easy to access from the main road. It was very quiet at night (as a light sleeper, this was impressive). An economical choice for single travelers.

The staff at this location are amazing. They are always willing to work with you and they get you anything you need. The complementary small continental breakfast options are awesome and everything is fresh. The rooms are spacious and easy to access. The first room I was in #209 , there were no towels or wash cloths in bathroom. There was the presence of roaches. There was a leak from the ceiling over the rub and toilet. Couldn't sleep even after closing the bathroom door because the leak dropping imto the tub and toilet was so loud. Couldn't sit on the toilet without water being leaked on you. By the time I got up at 5am the ceiling looked as it was molded. There was a smell of moldness which caused a severe headache and nauseous for myself and son. The other room #221 that the front desk moved me to was occupied so I had to go back downstairs to get another room. The new room was 222. It also didn’t have any towels. The refrigerator wasn't cleaned and there was also the presence or roaches in the bathroom. Something was flying around the room, wasn't sure if it was a mosquito. Something bit me. It has not been a good experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Room wasn't bad, however, the table top where the TV was had sticky substance on top, as did the night stand. There weren't any washcloths in the room, only 2 towels, and 3 hand towels. No ice bucket, which isn't a big deal per say. Staff was great.

This was a okay property I would recommend it to anybody other thing they need to switch up is the breakfast instead of serving cereal bagels everyday switch it up I ain't with bacon and sausage and stuff other than that it's nice and quiet I recommend this to anybody

We booked a one-night stay during a family road trip, and it was a complete nightmare. Upon check-in, the room was filthy. We immediately noticed dead cockroaches squished to the ceiling above the beds—almost like someone took a broom, smashed them, and then just left them there. Absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned. There were roach droppings in the corners and crevices and facial hair was left all over the sink area—obviously from someone shaving. Along the walls of both the room and bathroom was visible debris: hair, dirt, grime. It looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned at all before our arrival. There are plenty of other hotels nearby— do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. This place is unacceptable.

For price it was alright, you can’t expect much honestly. It wasn’t the cleanest, but the bed was what mattered and I was able to sleep in it just fine. The shower/tub seemed to be somewhat new and the bathroom was alright but the metal was rusted and the shower curtain had mold on the bottom. The floor was awful and maybe the worst part of our stay, don’t walk on it with your bare feet by any means. Lastly I would say the smell was a bit off but not unbearable. Also the vending machines for drinks don’t have a cooling system, so my soda was warm.

Unfortunately, my stay has been overshadowed by poor response to correcting the clogged toilet sink. After first night, I asked the cleaning lady outside mybroom, around noon, to please clean the room as well as investigate the sink but nothing was done. Not even the room was cleaned. I returned 2 AM too tired to do anything so next morning I informed the front desk and yet nothing was done when I returned 2 AM in the night again too tired to do anything. Also, fyi, they don't have any iron or ironing board in the room either.

People (possibly residents?) hanging around outside. The mattress is sitting on a rusted metal platform that made noise any time we moved. And on top of all of that...some guests (residents?) in the room next to us got into a shouting and cussing match. The police came out. Turns out one person involved is a felon and had a gun. I think people live in this hotel.

The room was infested with roaches everywhere! While shower there were roaches crawling up the walls. Behind my bed was a roach motel with about 40 roached on it. Had to throw out my left over dinner because there were roaches in the the refrigerator and freezer. I will without a doubt NEVER EVER stay in this dump again.

Staff was fine, upon arrival the smell in the building and room was horrible (musty and Smokey smell) had to by air fresheners, pillow cases were stained, along with some of our towels. Then while unpacking a bug on the wall was identified as a wood cockroach. The next night I found several baby and adult cockroaches and brought to the staff attention. Then the next morning upon waking I brought her another one found along with waking up with welts on my back and abdomen the looked like large bug bites and while packing up in between the covers I found a bug which was identified as a common bedbug. Which was the final straw and we checked out immediately. Bagged all of of items trash bags for our ride home. The hotel is refunding us our stay, awaiting for Expedia for the refund.

Then while unpacking a bug on the wall was identified as a wood cockroach. The next night I found several baby and adult cockroaches and brought to the staff attention. Then the next morning upon waking I brought her another one found along with waking up with welts on my back and abdomen the looked like large bug bites and while packing up in between the covers I found a bug which was identified as a common bedbug. Which was the final straw and we checked out immediately. Bagged all of of items trash bags for our ride home. The hotel is refunding us our stay, awaiting for Expedia for the refund.

The staff provided very poor service, they did not want to change a smoking room for a non-smoking one, we had to look for a reservation at another hotel and they charged me one night plus tax, that is not right.

Two towels for three people. One bed didn't have a blanket just sheets and they were out of blankets so had to sleep with an extra fitted sheet (that's all they could find). Took 30 forever to get a pillow to have enough pillows. No ice buckets. No remote for the tv. They found one the second night that half worked. Second night for another blanket after asking five times during the day. The staff was very kind. They just didn't have enough anything.

This motel cancelled our booking the evening we were going to check in without any notice. They claimed my card was declined, but I know that’s not true. They just wanted to give our room away. Left us without a place to stay. Don’t trust them with a reservation.

No smoking room smelled like cigarettes, no remote control in room, bed springs terrible sound when you sat on bed, everything outdated, got a remote but it didn’t work, got a replacement didn’t work, finally we were given a new room, no towels, finally got towels, when taking a shower killed a roach in bathroom! Disgusting place!

Front desk was super nice she explained all that was left were smoking room i thought cigarettes tho the whole upstair was saturated by the smell of weed as i looked closer it was very dingy still trash in the windowsill i did not feel safe to sleep there and so we had dropped our things earlier and decided just to pick it up and check out a few hours later was waiting for response from hotel reguarding refund after 3 days the answer was no

It’s not worth the price charged

Checked in and given a key that didn’t work. (Happened twice more during stay.) Puddle under A/C unit in room. Burn holes in bedspread. Insects found: ants, spider, earwig, centipede. Plastic wrappers on floor indicated room had not been carefully vacuumed. Dark spots in paces along bottom of shower curtain. Missing box of tissues. Entirely unsatisfactory and will NOT stay again.

Two words: live insects. Nothing turns a hotel stay into a nightmare quicker than seeing live, crawling bugs. Also, the bottom sheet was incapable of being tucked and came free immediately. Horrible experience.

Cockroaches were found in the bathroom. Mgmt. switched our room. In the second room, bedbugs were found in the sheets and pillows. Mgmt. told us to request partial refund from Expedia. Now that we're back home, they won't provide name of general mgr. and won't cooperate to offer partial refund. Do not recommend.

Saw cockroach and bathroom was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Poor maintenance , ended up leaving 10 minutes into the stay.

Then we get to our room and the smell of cigarette smoke hits you even harder. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and the rank smell gave me such a bad headache. There was what appeared to be a cigarette burn on the comforter and the floor was so sticky. The inside was updated though and looked mostly nice, fair for the price. If it was not for the horrific sickening smell making me nauseated, I would have rated this place higher.

Infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. Manager was rude and woukdnt refund me my full ammount. . I only came in town for a show, checked in and keft right away, we came back at 1:30 am to find roaches everywhere. So i packed up and left . On the way out the counter person called the manager and he refused to refund me .. i loterally was in that room a total of about 1:45 min total..

The staff has a terrible attitude. Internet hardly works. Ice machine vending machine don't work. The manager and her husband that works here have nasty attitudes and looks down own the ppl that stay here. And the ROACHES ARE OUT OF CONTROL!

There was no redeeming qualities other than the front desk women, hotel was extremely dirty inside and out

Room was dirty, someone had placed a shopping bag over the smoke detector sheets didnt feel clean. And next day after my stay i felt ill only to go to dr the following day or so to find out i got covid. So needless to say my stay here was awful as im still sick and now missing work. And not to mention the ruckus from the adjacent rooms which lasted most of the evening

I would like to request a refund there were dead roaches in the room I was in also I removed the top cover from the bed and there was literally a small pile of trash in the bed I didn't complain because it was only for a night but I would definitely like my money back

Extremely dirty. Stick to the floors. Inconsistent in making up the room. No coffee in room or lobby. Roaches in the room. Strong smell of pot throughout.
