The value was great for my family. The majority of the team was amazing with exception of one person. As I was checking out the young lady at the desk was very short and difficult. I recognized there was something off so I sent my wife and calmly ask the questions I needed, but that did change how the interacted with me as if I was frustrating her.

The front desk attendant didn’t give me the warm welcome that other guest seemed to get. She was joking with the guest before me ( even mentioning she liked to make people laugh) but as I walked up the smile disappeared and she was all business. I had sit and wait for a room to become available so I was able to watch others check in. While sitting, I watched two guest check in and was given this ‘welcome to our property so glad to have you’ speech as they were offered two bottles of water. She then called me back up and handed me the rooms keys with very few words spoken. During the morning of check out, I was heading back to my room and caught the elevator just before it shut. As I approached it had two housekeepers already on. The man literally sighed/huffed, obviously annoyed that I wanted to get on. I chose to wait rather than ride to the 4th floor with him. These two experiences did leave me feeling as though I did not belong. It’s troubling when you pay for something and don’t get the same respect as others. On a friendlier note the gentleman working breakfast was very polite and efficient. He also gave us a heads up when he was on the last batch of food. When traveling with teenagers breakfast is a must.

Kim was so good in her duties and she went over and beyond what was required. The breakfast was adequate, staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Parking was also good.

Excellent breakfast, lots of choices and rotating protein. Two room suites were great. Free parking in safe area. Friendly engaging staff. Very clean rooms and facility.

I booked about a month ahead of our stay only to arrive and have the front desk say they didn’t have a room. Never has this happened to me before. I was told of course that I wouldn’t be charged, only to wake up at a different hotel to see the charges on my card. It took a few days of calling to have the manager reverse the charges. I really hope this is not the standard so be prepared to take a gamble booking here!

The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the couch was cloth I feel that hotel couches and chairs need to be leather to where it can be wiped off because I didn't want to sit on it. But it looked pretty clean from the surface I actually think it was a pull out bed which was nice to have if you have extra people. The bathroom wasn't perfect could use a little updating.

There was a tiny light high on the wall that blinked brightly every few seconds. Kind of annoying when you're trying to get to sleep. Breakfast was average, the oatmeal was under cooked, but there was a good assortment of toppings.

Staff was so friendly, especially the staff member who oversees breakfast each morning. The hotel opened breakfast early over the weekend to accommodate sports teams who needed to eat earlier than the regular 7AM.

Room was clean and setup was great although some updating of bathroom is needed ( several cracked tiles in shower) One other thing is which is beyond staff control, the walls are bit thin and we had a very early morning talker next door so earplugs are a good suggestion. Everything was great except the couch was very uncomfortable and the TV was oddly positioned in the room. You either had to angle it toward the very uncomfortable couch, or toward the bed and then position yourself at an angle to see it. Don’t understand why you would place a tv on a table smack dab in between two rooms, and have to walk around it and then struggle to find a place for your luggage

Basic maintenance felt like it had been neglected at this hotel. Examples: the labels on the breakfast juice dispenser had worn off, there was trash under our couch when we pulled out the trundle bed, the air units in our rooms were falling apart, and the toilet flooded the bathroom on the first flush.

They are not only foe the disabled, but great for seniors anyone w/ knee, back, or hip issues etc. Just like sitting on a regular chair, & not the floor. Very difficult for a very large portion of the population to get down & up from. Most folks too embarassed to say anything!?

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is a convenient location to reach downtown and the surrounding areas conveniently - right off the highway. We felt very safe, and the staff were excellent! We stayed here during a time our home was under repair ! The amenities are as described and comfort is 5 star!

Looked like there were puke stains on the carpet between the bathroom and the sink. Other than that it was quiet and the staff was nice. The breakfast was also pretty good.

Unable to check in for late arrival. We have to wait for an hour after a long driving trip from NY.

Noise from the hallway was also noticeable, as I could hear other guests talking outside the room. The hotel offered a nice complimentary breakfast buffet. My only disappointment was the lack of any starch options like potatoes, though there were some pre-packaged breakfast items available. Despite these small drawbacks, it was a good stay and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Clean spacious rooms in a quiet business park setting. Hotel is good. Just a couple odd ball people at the gas station and in the parking lot at night seemed weird.

The hotel is in dire need of updating. I stayed one night. The hotel itself is dark and dingy. The carpets throughout the hotel were very dirty and worn. The room was dated and the carpet was disgusting- there red stains on the carpet - looked like blood - so gross. Behind the night stand were spatters of blood. It was just gross - I couldn’t even take a shower there. I wanted to watch TV - the screen was broken. I just tried to sleep a few hours and got up and left. The only positive was the reception staff. They were very pleasant. Not sure about housekeeping - I wasn’t there long enough to meet them. I would not recommend staying here.

Rooms are okay. Bathrooms need some cosmetic repairs (dingy tub and scum around water fixtures). Shower curtain had stains on it. Beds were clean and other areas except the window had a lot of spider webs. Staff were kind and helpful. Pool was nice.

All I can say is I missed you guys! In my recent travels, I’ve I chosen the less expensive hotels trying to be penny conscious and not the usual hotel snob. If asked how those worked for me, they didn’t! I’ve learned no matter the location, the Marriott brand will not disappoint. There is nothing I can complain about. My excellent experience started as soon as I walked in and continue from the elevator to my room. I was originally booked for four days but woke up on the day of check out and didn’t want to leave, so I extended one more day.

The breakfast area on Saturday 8/16/25 was about as gross and messy as I've EVER seen a place. Food everywhere, trash overflowing. The coffee station was in shambles. People are awful

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room worked well for our family. We were disappointed, however, by the breakfast situation. Many items were missing (e.g., peanut butter, forks, napkins), and the oatmeal was uncooked (oats in water, rather than oatmeal). The coffee ran out and was not refilled for some time. We tried asking the staff member to replenish a couple times, and it didn't happen. When I came back in the afternoon to the hotel, I made myself a tea, but the water was lukewarm.

I was disappointed that the suite did not include a full-size refrigerator and microwave. I have stayed at Candlewood Suites in the past and that was included. Also, I was very disappointed in the breakfast. I did arrive close to closing but there was very little remaining on the food bar. Also, there was trash everywhere. Even when I left at 11:45, nothing had been cleaned up at that point.

We went with friends and none of our rooms were available for the 3:00 check in time and still weren’t ready after 3:00. The bath tub in our room didn’t drain so had to shower standing in the filth from sweating all day at the race. In the morning the breakfast station wasn’t ready at 7 and by 7:30 all coffee and food was gone and staff said it was sold out.

Overall this hotel was clean nice hotel. It lacked in small amenities. Not enough forks at breakfast, no water refill in the foyer. There is one in the gym, but you wouldn’t know unless you ask.

Location was close to shopping and food. The hotel is dated which is understandable however the bathroom was not clean. The floor needs to be mopped and the walls wiped down. On Sat the breakfast area was dirty, and on Sunday it was nice. I noticed there were two different workers. The guy that checked me in was great but the girl that checked me out not so much. With consistency with the staff and cleanliness this place could be better.

Our room was non smoke room and but the towels did smell like it and they put some products on the towels instead of change them so they had a scent so we didn’t use them. The parking was nice and the area was quiet in the night. Overall a good experience.

At check in, 3:30pm, I was told the rooms were prepaid and no changes can be made. The comment was not true as my hotel confirmation read differently. The charges were not authorized as the reservations were not for me but family members. The person on duty refused to credit my card and said if the charges are reversed the rooms would be canceled. This was totally unprofessional as well as unaccommodating. It is ALWAYS my preference to book hotel reservations with the option to present the card at check in. I had just stayed at Springhill Suites in Orlando, FL 8 days prior to my stay in Richmond, VA. Springhill @ Orlando didn't have any issue with completing the reservations as 2 separate transactions. That was totally a much different experience! Nonetheless, this was a major inconvenience as well as an unpleasant experience with Springhill Suites. The manager on duty was lazy and clearly a liar!

Attempted to stay there for 4 days. First 2 nights were good on the 3rd evening the power went out and never came back on.They provided a flashlight and no ETA as to when the power would come back on. Was forced to check into another hotel.

During a bad thunderstorm the power went out. It lasted all night and the next morning the staff were very nice. It was hard with no AC and we didn’t sleep every well.

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and surpassed my expectations. Only downside is I noticed the pool room wasn’t cleaned, i.e same clumps of hair and bandaids sitting on the floor since the day before.

no issues with the room, the problem was after we checked in we went out for supper and when we came back we were locked out of our room, had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes for a maintenance man to fix the door so we could get in.

The bathroom had a crack in the wall. Some of our towels were damp. Other than that stay was good

This whole process was ridiculous and unprofessional - we planned our whole day around being able to use the pool at night and a later breakfast but Springhill Suites couldn’t even do us the courtesy of calling us to let us know that they overbooked themselves.

After my recent stay at a less expensive hotel, it was great to return to a hotel that I know stands behind its brand. I opened the door and it was an aaaah moment. I can’t praise this property enough!

The main area was not kept clean in the morning, breakfast was not refreshed regularly and the staff outside of checkin were not very attentive

Great hotel!

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay it was smaller than we thought. There was a dirty/wet face towel left close to the bathroom. No utensils my bad I didn't checked the amenities of the room when we booked, however for a $160 plus a night we were expecting a bit more. The bed was comfy but for me the pillows were not. Free breakfast was okay, we love the coffee though :)

When I pulled the covers down there were bugs in my bed. We received a room change.

Checked in for a night while traveling back home. The chdck-in process was simple a d quick and our room was clean spacious and quiet. Made our night traveling with an infant easier.

Staff was Amazing had issue with booking dates and 3 rd party changed the dates and The Manager her staff were very sympathetic and approved my stay for Sunday hotel was sold Saturday and I received a full refund for Saturday night I really appreciate the staff at Hotels.com for expediting a refund stay you all rock no pics to send Hotel clean nice and very affordable and convenient to Hospital going to 10 thumbs up

stopped here after a long car ride from Atlanta. the front desk staff was kind and attentive however the Hotel is outdated. we were put in a room where the door was wide open upon our arrival, the bathroom door doesn't close and there was a wasp in the restroom. we asked for another room, which they accommodate very easily. again the room was wide open and the cleaning crew hadn't finished changing the sheets so we stood outside the room for a few minutes while they finished. we could not shower because there really want any hot water and there was another guests hair on the wall. the room on the surface was ok but needed a deep cleaning. breakfast was ok. I wish they had staff cleaning the stations frequently not just restocking food after an hour the counters were a disaster. an ok to lay our heads for the night but wouldn't recommend for a long term stay

My stay was very nice, this is a very good hotel - safe, clean, comfortable, spacious, good breakfast, easy parking and reasonably priced.

Seemed much less than the pictures. Not the cleanest. Didn’t smell great. Dirty carpet. Tub/shower not inviting! Wouldn’t stay again. Paid a little more for this hotel than some others in the area were going for because I thought SpringHill was a step up.. not this one. I would try another place or expect this one to be cheaper! It isn’t awful I just had much higher expectations!

Hotel is nice, rooms are a decent size, but set up oddly. There was a TV mounted to a table that was positioned in such a way that you couldn't really watch it from bed or from the living room area, since it didn't swivel enough in either direction to fully see the screen. The mirror in the common area was visibly dirty. Other than those things, the place was fine. Staff was super nice and breakfast was decent as well.

If I could, I would give 10 stars to the staff. From the overnight front desk to check out. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Sometimes you walk into a business and the people there give the vibe that you’re bothering them. Not here.

The. I had to call to get the garbage emptied and get more towels. The dirty towels were not removed. At breakfast, the garbage pails were overflowing and front desk was advised. One morning there was no coffee ; another morning there were no cup guards - once we were told where they were stored we helped ourselves. No one was monitoring the breakfast area and replacing items as they ran out- that was every morning. The staff we met were very nice but clearly overwhelmed. There simply wasn’t sufficient staff so the front desk clerk brought up towels and emptied our garbage. I also had to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper as there was no spare roll in the room. One elevator was not operating for two days. The stench of chlorine from the pool was overwhelming even with the door closed - the smell permeated down the hall to the elevator. Also couldn’t understand why the tv could not be turned so we could view it from the sofa or from the bed by the window. The hotel itself is a perfect location and in good condition but the lack of proper staffing and basic services would preclude us staying here again. As a Marriott Bonvoy member I was very disappointed.
