    Property was difficult to get into . Construction materials everywhere. They put us on 1st floor , which was fine but most of the rooms had the doors wide open and were all tore up from construction The pool was drained , and that was one reason we chose the place . Won’t be staying here again

    Holes in my sheets… Room wasn’t ready at check in. Pillows and Towels were worn. No elevators with stairs being steep. Always had to walk outside. High bushes around the entrance allowing someone to jump out at you in the dark because there is only one way to get to the rooms. Not using other available rooms. Same rooms keep getting recycled.

    Garbage piled up for two days. Door latch didn’t close properly. Found one door pinned open. Fire extinguisher expired. No shampoo in dispenser. Shower leaking. Ran out of bathroom. Ice machine empty. No coffee in lobby one morning. Tile used is not correct for commercial application. Never tried HVAC. Heard one guest complaining that his didn’t work or his TV. Couldn’t find anyone when I wanted to check out. Would not use again.

    The first room we were offered had three live cockroaches in it and the sink was dirty-filled with ashes from a cigarette. Very dirty conditions throughout the whole inn. We were offered a replacement room upstairs that did not have bugs but the towels had hair on them and bedsheets had cigarette burns and stains. Very disappointing.

    The room door was not secure when I arrived at the room. The hallway carpet was filthy. The room was no smoking but had a smell of smoke. The bed linen was filthy as if it has not been washed or changed in weeks I would never stay at or reccomend this to any one to stay at.

    I know that the “quality” of Quality Inns varies but this property was by far the nastiest motel I’ve ever been in. Chose it because it’s just off I95. Big mistake 😱

    Additionally, the phone in the room was not working, so I was unable to contact the front desk for assistance when issues came up. This lack of basic maintenance and cleanliness is unacceptable, especially for paying guests. Overall, the experience did not meet even basic standards of hygiene and service. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

    Staff were very nice and helpful. Renovations were being done to the building our room was in, so there were a few issues: no working ice machine, little things missing like the hook on bathroom door, room had an industrial smell when we first checked in (we bought an air freshener to get rid of it), the ceiling over the bathtub started leaking the second night, the grout hadn't been wiped off between the bathtub wall tile.

    The hallways were dirty, and the rooms had stained bed sheets and sticky floors. The lamps were also dirty, and even the doors were so filthy they weren’t even white anymore. The entrance door to the building wouldn’t close properly, meaning it stayed open all night and anyone could walk in. Breakfast options were extremely limited, with almost nothing available besides waffles.

    The place overall was unclean, definitely too expensive for the conditions. There was bad carpeting in the hallways. It was not vacuumed. There was a broken, smashed in doorway across the hall. The breakfast was very limited. I can't see a good reason to stay here again.

    The TV didn’t work and the front desk acknowledged that. The hotel sign lights were out. The carpet stinks, overall condition is very bad. The bed sheets was dirty and had to call the front desk to come and change it. The bathroom door make terrible noise and the bath tissue holder is broken…I am asking for some refund. If I had a choice I would have left. We couldn’t even sleep well

    This place was trashed. They are remodeling which might help someday. But the room we were given had dead bugs all over the floor by the air conditioner and the sliding door was very precariously closed without a good lock and also had what looked like a bullet hole in the glass. The lights in the room did not work either. They said they refunded us and I hope that’s true. We left and stayed elsewhere.

    Hotel was under construction the whole time I stayed there and was extremely loud for hours and hours until about 7pm each night. It was awful. Not relaxing at all I could not think straight or sleep.

    Property is "unkept", room was simply not clean. The only thing remotely clean was the bed, but the linens were at least five years overdue for replacement. Apparently, I didn't get the memo about the 'hood either! lol. Slept withe my 9, unholstered on the night stand, and checked my vehicle at least five times during the night. Felt so uneasy here, I forfieted my prepaid second night and drove all night to go home after the event that brought me to town. I know, it's on me for staying here, but again, this place is way over-rated on Expedia, and Choice Hotels really needs to be a lil more selective in who they align with, IMO.

    Room was in disrepair. Could not close the glass door leading to the barren balcony. Some furniture broken , burn marks. Gave a coffee pot with no cups or coffee. Glass door to balcony was filthy. Cobwebs on ceiling. Blow dryer not functioning and the plastic was burned. Beds were clean and very comfortable, only saving grace. Oh and the waffle batter for breakfast was watered down, toaster did not work and coffee dispenser was erratic. Bathroom and sink were also cracked and in need of fixing.

    Many features in the hotel was not working : coffee machine, toiett cover was broken, no hot breakfast. The first room I got was smoked in by someone else and I had to request another room. No business center to use laptops only breakfast room. One time experience for me. Staff was accommodating, but the hotel definitely needs more employees to take care of all the demands and increase the overall quality.

    I was devastated the first room they put us in had cockroaches running around the entire room. They were doing construction on the bottom half of the second part of hotel,and still renting the rooms above . I insisted to look in another area of the hotel they had offered, thst room was cleaner. When we went to get breakfast the next morning the ceiling was leaking around the food area. We left and ate elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel in Richmond at all!!

    This place has a lot of potential but fell a bit short of expectations. The front of house staff was courteous. To be fair, they were renovating while we were there. It's definitely in need of some updating if they're going to charge the rates that they do. The non smoking units smelled like they were smoking units. All in all, we stayed. the pool look like it was a swamp. if you need a place to sleep for a night, it will do. If you're looking for a place to stay for a family vacation, I wouldn't recommend.

It's definitely in need of some updating if they're going to charge the rates that they do. The non smoking units smelled like they were smoking units. All in all, we stayed. the pool look like it was a swamp. if you need a place to sleep for a night, it will do. If you're looking for a place to stay for a family vacation, I wouldn't recommend.

    Absolutely nothing I liked about this hotel wasn’t even in there for five minutes and had Rochers crawling all over the counters and the walls grabbed all of our stuff and walked back up to the lobby and asked for a refund. I would not recommend this place at all. Roaches in the room smelled like mildew and mold. There was water leak leaking from the ceiling.

Finally they got us in a 3 rd room still had an aroma that was faint. Then it was suppose to include breakfast. Went down and the ceiling was leaking in the middle of the room so they had a waste can catching the water.

    The roof is leaking near the breakfast area. There has to be a health violation for that. The ice machine didn't work in my building. The ceilings in the room were dusty. Under the bed had never been cleaned. The toilet had dirt from previous customers. Mirrors were clearly never cleaned. The bed was dirty. I ended up going and buying sheets. There were beehives out on the balcony couldn't enjoy it. The shower was full of mold all over. All of that lead me to not even want to use the pool.

Clean crew ony come every other day uness requested. Do not know what the intial $50 charge is for ... seperat from paymemt of stay. Now the rooms. You may or most likely may NOT get toiletries, towles, etc. A microwave, hit or miss with remote refrigerators will not be too cold snd toilet sears come iff and breakfast. Toast and coffee. Trash in front of entryway of door. Pools of water in walk ways, people... welll.some are probly therw on vouchers or live there . They put ricks to hold door open if you do not have a key for the entryway. Depeneding where you are smells like marijuana. Vending machine are always empty and dont look for the phone to call desk. You go to the desk .just a mess all around. But dont look for compensation or for being inconveinenced.

    I did not even stay there. It was sketchy when we got there. Once in the room, the stains and burn marks on the blankets were enough to promptly leave. The bathroom sink was falling in the vanity. I asked for a refund and was denied even after showing the clerk the photos. You could smell weed coming from the other rooms. Then there was the man who was standing in front of the motel when we got there and then saw lurking around the building. Absolutely horrible. Still waiting for my refund!!

    Run down. I did check for bedbugs and the room was clean, but the couch was broken, the AC unit just ran at 53 and could not be changed, and the curtain over the window was broken. The lobby restrooms have been under construction for 6 months. We had to yell to get someone to come out and check us in after we rang the bell twice. The room smelled like old smoke. The pillows were tiny and more like covered decorative couch pillows. Would not say it’s a 3-star hotel. More like a 1.5-star. We were just happy we didn’t get murdered. It felt murdery.

    I did not like the cleanliness of the property. As soon as I walked in my room I went right back to the office and asked if I was given a room that had not been cleaned yet. The lady in the office looked at me like I was crazy and said what’s wrong. I asked to change rooms and she just said she would send housekeeping. When I showed housekeeping some of the issues I had she stated that it was all maintenance related. So nothing was done to fix my concerns.

    Mattress needs replaced Bathroom was dirty, the tub looked like it was just wiped dry instead of being cleaned mildew and mold on shower walls and caulking around the tub,dirt on the floor and carpet, dust everywhere and mildew on the tables legs , I have been a housekeeper for many years and a supervisor of a housekeeping department and if the rooms would have looked like this the ladies would have been given a second chance to clean it properly or they would have been out the door The pool was a great size needs to be cleaned and resurfaced I put up with it because of the two night stay only Would not recommend to anyone to stay there

    It was okay for a night. Ice and vending machines were broken and non existent. There’s no clear signage pointing you to where the rooms are. The place is definitely older and there isn’t any elevators which hurts if you’re unable to go up stairs. The front desk person was nice. Smelled like weed and smoke in the halls. The bed and pillows were good. Like I said, it wasn’t bad staying for a night while in town for the race. You get what you pay for.

    Room was filthy and had horrible smoke odor. Blow dryer did not work, bathroom was moldy and fixtures were rusty. Bed linens and curtains had burn holes in them. Hotel did not have an elevator and trash bins were full. This was absolutely the worst room we have ever stayed in. Towels even smelled of smoke…Lobby was beautiful. I will never stay in a Quality Inn Again!!!

    The room wasn’t clean when I wiped it down again it was a lot of rust everywhere and stains on the sheets. Half of the pool was dirty and green! It took me four tries each time to get into my room. I wasn’t given extra towels. There was no iron but an ironing board.

    Rm was filled with mold. Walls and ceiling are covered in black mold. Smoke detector chirping. Requested to be moved. Was told all rooms have the same condition and no other rooms available. I was traveling with 1 child and a service dog. Finally the man decided he had another room available. Room was 2 doors down from the mold room but was a lot better. But old and dirty looking. 1 bed was missing the bed skirt, hair dryer was broken and the tv didn’t work either. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly but the property conditions need help. Pics online don’t even compare.

    I like that they had a balcony and the room was really big great for when you have two young boys. They just need an upgrade and just cancel saying they have a pool they have a hole in the ground.

    The property was average, it was clean and located conveniently off of 95. The tub in the room was unusable and frankly unsafe. Whatever coating was applied to the surface of the tub had almost entirely peeled off, the flakes of the coating were still peeling and the surface was extremely slippery. We didn't shower because of this situation. Also, I unfortunately left an article of clothing on the back of the bathroom door, I called and spoke to the front desk personnel at this hotel three times to see if housekeeping had found it but they never called me back. The one time I called the man said he would check with housekeeping and call me back and tried to hang up and then I said "don't you need my phone number?" and he replied "oh, yes, what is it?" I don't believe any of these people ever intended to help me. Very poor customer service! Even if the clothing was not found, I would expect a return call to tell me that. I would not stay here again, nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The room was exactly what you pay for. Room needs deep cleaning, especially bathroom! Lots of mold and mildew. Non smoking room but still smells like smoke. Kids kept coughing.

    Property needs some serious maintenance. Found food crumbles on the floor, but gladly the bathroom and bed linen were ok. I wouldn’t have spent more than a day on this property.
