We stayed just for a quick night on our way home. The rooms are large and clean & comfortable. Only interacted with one staff and she was very nice. I would stay again if in the area

I highly recommend this hotel! The people were all very helpful and welcoming. The front desk staff remembered me and my room number when I asked for something during my stay. Everything looks new and nicely decorated. I really liked the design of the room, especially the wall hooks in the main room and bathroom which were so helpful. The pool and outdoor lounge area were very nice. The only negative was that the signal/reception on the TV glitched a lot. It was probably a quick fix, but I didn’t take the time to call for it to be adjusted.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Virginia was okay, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The staff was polite, but the overall service felt inconsistent, and some interactions didn’t meet the level of attentiveness I expected. Nothing was terrible, but the experience didn’t quite match the standard I’m used to from this brand. With a bit more focus on cleanliness of the room, communication and guest support, this location could really shine.

The bed was really comfortable. The night time desk clerk was very friendly and kind. The air conditioner in the room stopped working on the night of the second day. The telephone stopped working on the third day. The morning front desk clerk was not friendly. Having to pay $3 for a cup of coffee I thought was ridiculous.

The location was nice and it was very clean. I used booking.com to make my reservation because it was cheaper than going through holiday inn itself. When checking in, the front desk young girl was not the friendliest. She said more than once, next time just book directly with us. Well I would if you were the cheaper option. Room was very nice, spacious and clean I don't mind that there was no breakfast included, especially for the price. But I find it very disappointing that there is no free serve coffee. It was 3$ pm for a small cup. Even small hotels have free coffee ... I also did not appreciate feeling pushed out of our room. We booked for 2 nights, check out time at 11h00 and got knocked on the door twice before 8h30 asking if we were leaving today... Will not book at this particular hotel again ....

The rooms were very comfortable. We were there for 1 night for our Jehovah's Witnesses Assembly. We booked last minute and I must say this was a very clean and welcoming place to stay. We will be back! Everything was great!

Overall, the stay was fine. Checked in and out without any issues. The room was clean but noticed bugs on the ceiling...yuck!! The location was a little worrisome as it's around a nightclub and music was blasting so loud when we got there. Unfortunately, we did not get any sleep as we woke up at 2am in the morning to people hanging outside the hotel screaming and just being rowdy for hours. The next morning we almost stepped on someone's vomit as we were leaving. Yuck!

This is a great place to stay. I don’t consider any other place when traveling to the Richmond area. It is in a great location.

Hotel is operating at a new property so the rooms and common areas are fresh and clean. Ample Parking. Quiet street though there is a truck lot behind the property. The staff was courteous and greeted us. The location requires a little bit of driving to get from the highways I-95, though the traffic on local streets was ok.

Very clean and new! Staff was attentive and polite. I come to Richmond once a month as a weekend psych provider and I haven’t really found that perfect hotel to continue to book until now.

Totally disappointed in my rooms size and the bathroom was a match box size very claustrophobic. Disappointed after waiting to stay in this location with the size of the room.

I like the location, it was close to many things. Breakfast-I was mislead about the breakfast as the way it appeared on site it makes it appear that it is included, it is not. For the price it did not match up to the value Deposit-The person when I checked repeatedly shared to pay a deposit for incidentals and it would be returned after checkout, a week later and it has not been applied nor showing pending on my card. A lot of these hotels in the area will ask for a cash or card deposit. After my experience with this and a few hotels. Keep about 100 dollars in cash so you can get immediately refunded. The trash cans were overfilled with trash. Just not a good look especially when cleaning staff was there and just let it go even when checking out

Room was clean and comfortable. Traveling alone I felt safe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is my 3rd stay at this location in the last four months & I will choose this location again. Will certainly continue to stay at this location when traveling in the future. Didn't eat at the restaurant this trip - but enjoyed the food during my previous stays. Absolutely no complaints.

Nice and clean! Just what we needed for a quick one night stop. The floors were a little dirty and shower around the edges but not a big deal.

Excellent stay! Breakfast was a bit disorganized and it interrupted our planned events/competitions, but that was the only issue we had to deal with.

The television in our room 401 continued messing up all the channels and it was reported x2 but it wasnt fixed, you had to hold the toilet handle down for it to flush properly

The coffee maker did not work. the parking lot was littered with trash. This isn’t the normal experience we have with this chain of hotels so a bit surprised.

Also the elevator was secured by using your Card I like that. You have to pay for breakfast and dinner I couldn't watch Hulu or any of those apps Something was wrong with the streaming

The staff were super nice and helpful. They accommodated us for an early check in, which was very nice. The room was “Meh”… very small and cramped space, hard to get around the end of the bed. Didn’t feel like a home away from home, kind of cold and plain. No breakfast included, so not a good value for $150 a night.

Very nice and updated property. Clean and spacious rooms with comfy beds! My only suggestion would be to install black out shades for the rooms. The porous texture of your current shade allow too much light in the room from the parking lot lights!

I would have expected they would have had an elevator service company bypass the key card scanner to make the elevator function.

The fan on the a/c / heating unit never shut off. Even when we turned the system off. The fan kept running all night which was right next to the bed and annoyingly loud. Not to mention the dry air (heat) was annoying to breathe. I would not stay here again.

One of the best stays, employees were friendly and professional. The whole place was clean and well taken care of. Best cafeteria style breakfast hands down. Other places could learn from this business!

I was too tired to argue about it with the clerk, but I really need the 3rd party rates to be honored just as if they were booked directly through the hotel. It was fine. Not great. Clean because it’s new. The room was incredibly small. Like barely move small. The bathroom was so small the sink was outside of the actual bathroom. The surrounding area is quite odd. The staff was very kind and helpful.

This hotel is located outside Richmond with easy access to I 64. Very minimalist, clean, efficient. Loved the blackout shades! Great for an overnight; slept great.

They could use more handicapped parking, my husband has mobility issues and has a tag but there were only a few spaces and were always full. There was also a large van parked next to the entrance that was blocking several parking spaces in the front row and it stayed there all night. Also the restaurant wasn’t really a restaurant, just counter service with a few fast food items for take out. No free breakfast either. We left the property for our meals.

The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and courteous. However, the guests staying in the room above us were noisy and inconsiderate. Also, the fire alarm was ringing after midnight and made me restless for the remainder of the night.

I enjoyed my stay, however I never received my $50 deposit back from the hotel after my stay. They claimed all funds were released when I left but it was never sent back to my bank account. Tried for a month to get in contact with the manager but no success.

This hotel is quite lovely! Having been recently renovated, it presents a very clean, smoke-free, and animal-free environment. The daily housekeeping service is certainly a welcome feature. I particularly appreciate the absence of carpeting in the rooms, which is truly wonderful. The only minor issue I encountered was the television reception, which was occasionally scrambled, but aside from that, it is a truly delightful property. The front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful.

I would lay my head down here again

Very good stay. Great location with easy drive into downtown and to shops away from the city. Room was clean. Nice bed and great shower. We were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Both elevators broke. Staff was very accommodating to help us to our room on the second floor. We enjoyed our staff. Very nice. Will use Holiday inn again.

Beautiful suite. More than enough room for an overnight stay. The suite was cleaned thoroughly and amenities were great. Definitely, a spot for just getting away for a night.

AC rattling like a can being kicked down a road. Several blinking lights in the room, lighting up the room randomly - microwave, alarm clock, fire alarm, there's a nightlight with no off switch. Breakfast not included, but was tasty.

It wasn't unique it was a basic hotel. Great general manager. We didn't know that it didn't include breakfast it was a full service restaurant it was pay for items for breakfast and coffee no freebies here was able to get hot water for some tea.staff was great

Great stay for the price

The best property in the area. Recently renovated and extremely clean and functional property. We stayed here for a wedding and had at least 8 rooms in total. Kids loved the place and the location was ideal ie close to all necessities.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites. The kitchen staff were wonderful. They happily and carefully accommodated my children’s food allergies. Our suite was very comfortable. My only issue was that the bedroom air conditioner was extremely loud at times while trying to sleep. Otherwise we had a great stay.

This hotel was pleasantly surprising. Some elevator issues, but nothing that would make me not return.

I would have given the hotel 5 stars but breakfast selection was very limited and over priced. Coffee wasn't even included with the room, which was surprising to me. Its little things like that which make me want to come back to a hotel or not. Although this was clean and staff was excellent...I won't likely be back.

I thought the property is extremely well maintained. One of the elevators was out of service, but it wasn't too bad.

Had a great stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The only downside was one of the elevators was broken so it was a waiting game sometimes

Loved the room. Clean and spacious. My family and I were very comfortable.

My husband and I searched for a pool and got there it was horrible experience. Never recommend this place pool had kids in there splashing and rough housing had to take my grandson out. 2 to 3 other families came down and had to leave . Could not enjoy the pool. Don’t know know what was going on. Kids in there with wrist bands on and parents not at all supervising their kids. My husband had to yell at the kids. Kids throwing footballs .

I got a king suite and the tv reception was so spotty that watching tv in the living room was not happening. (So what was the point for the upcharge for a room that was really not usable?) The staff is FABULOUS. Regardless of the cons, I'll be back.

I would stay here again, brand new super clean, nice suites, great exercise equipment. Out bedroom didn’t have a black out shade which was a bummer with a light right outside the window but it looked like all the others had them. Would be nice if they didn’t charge $3 for coffee without decent creamer. I understand charging for breakfast but it seemed way over priced we went out instead.

Everything was nice. Clean and modern room.

We LOVED the layout of the suite; however the bed was HORRIBLE! Every time we moved at all it made a terrible loud sound. We woke up every time one of us would roll over!!

Surprisingly good little spot. Exactly what you would expect. Would be nice to have breakfast included though.

Convenient to I-64W lots of dining choices around although I was hoping to go to Subrosa but found it was closed

The hotel does not look like it’s in the best part of town, but the interior is really great and the bed was very comfortable.

It would be very nice ,if when the pool is closed for any reason you put it on the website, if I had known that I certainly wouldn't have booked the room, even if it was for free it was very unprofessional.!!

Our room had a non-working shower and fridge. They did verify and let us change rooms. Still a hassle and something that should have been caught well before check-in. One working elevator and a dirty pool. I do think the one-bedroom suite is fine for the price/night. No free breakfast, FYI.

We loved this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and the pool and outdoor patio were just great. For the price, this place was an amazing value.

Cut my finger on sharp metal on the door plate to the bathroom. They didn’t leave adequate coffee or toilet paper in the room. Breakfast wasn’t staffed at all or was short staffed, I never got to eat.
