    I was traveling from Roanoke and I got there at 11 and I asked if I could check in early. The receptionist said yes at 1. I was ok with that and she even recommended where to go for lunch. She did an excellent job and was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great as well. The room was great.

    Had a great time, and staff was awesome. Checked into a room with a bunch of noise coming through the wall from the neighboring room. The folks at the front desk didn't hesitate to put me in a different room and everything was great. Breakfast was good, they have 24/7 coffee in the lobby, game room, and outdoor cornhole boards. Was a great experience all around

    Everything felt very clean and new. Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Nice large fitness center and a most amazing game area with pool table, large tv's with bean bag chairs and other fun activities which I have never seen in a hotel before! Breakfast was very good with many options. Staff was very friendly and professional. Location is walkable to many places to eat and shop.

    Not a bad stay at all. The room was clean, the staff was nice, ample parking, and a short walk to the Willow Lawn Shopping Center. Very quiet area at night. The walls in the room are paper thin though, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

    We chose this hotel due to its proximity to relatives we were visiting. The staff was competent, our room quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was good (albeit lacking in healthy options). One hassle worth noting was one of the two elevators for the 8-story hotel was non-functional during our three night stay. This proved to be a major inconvenience at during the morning hours when guests were trying to get to breakfast, return from breakfast, and/or leave. Wait time for an elevator was ten minutes some mornings. My 70-year-old husband was able to get a luggage rack to our floor, but chose to use the stairs instead, which took three trips to the car. In my opinion, management should compensate guests. This hotel was also not ecologically-minded. There were no recycling bins and their kitchen used paper plates, plastic cutlery, and disposable cups. We will stay elsewhere in the future.

    The only thing I liked was the location. Close to the hwy and downtown walkable mall and shops I feel duped. I paid $1000 for 3 nights. Booked this hotel on booking.com Requested 2 queen beds, got a king instead. Sinking bed, not firm. The desk did not greet us, never offered any complimentary water. Room located behind the elevators. The door is heavy to open— which was impressive. The room was tiny. Shower not working… water flowed outside of the standing shower. Water stains on the ceiling. No metal cover on the sprinklers. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, so if a guest did number 2, the whole room stank.. windows do not open. The blinds made of cheap plastic, the edges taped with scotch tape. Since no water in shower, plenty in sink, so took a sponge bath with face towels for 3 days. The floors are filthy, dusty, my socks may have cleaned it.. The staff were super rude, the attitude towards guests, their tone of voice. From signing in, to signing out.. the staff was rude, rude and rude. Sign in person never greeted us, no smile.Introduced herself though, Did not offer complimentary water. Second day, I needed to tell them about having no water coming in the shower, nobody attending the desk. Cleaning staff walking past me but nobody bothering to greet, just a scowl look on their faces. Third day, a guy was attending the desk, I told him of my complaints, he just brushed it off. Don’t stay in room 200. Though he did give me fresh towels. Fourth and final day: check out time, no staff attending. A latina passed by telling me that staff maybe in the bathroom. Finally the person with red hair and ponytail young lady came, no smile, no good morning, just a “ mood off” look on her face. Told me to put the door cards in the slot on the desk, i asked for a copy of my receipt, she said since I booked through booking.com, they will send me a copy in my email—- well I am still waiting nothing as of yet! I just told her,” I hope I don’t get billed for another day.” She retorted, “ why would you get billed, I just closed you out “. I was so shocked.

    The inside of the building was very nice! My room was clean and comfortable. The parkinglot was hard to navigate and it was difficult to tell from the side entrance where the front was located. I also needed a spoon to eat my macaroni and cheese and there was none to be found.

I had to wait every time I came down for a front desk associate. The room was spacious and the bed was clean, but the floors and bathroom was dirty. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The location is not walkable to much, but I had short drives to willow lawn and breweries in midtown. The last night I saw a roach in the bathroom. I won't come back and the prices should come for a place that doesn't have enough staff.

    Staff was courteous and professional but the room was very dirty. The bath tub was full of pubic hair and the tub did not drain properly. The rest of the room's floor was also very dirty with hair, crumbs and dust everywhere. The most frustrating thing was the vent in the bathroom that connected directly to the neighboring bathroom. It did not have a switch and did not clear out steam from the shower however it did fill our room with a terrible smell every time the neighbors did their "business". It must have been connected to the other bathrooms above and below also because the smell did not stop coming through the vent for almost the whole duration of our stay. For almost $200 a night we expected much better.

    My issue with the property was it wasn’t clear that after a certain time in the evening, the entrance adjacent to the parking area is locked. You have to walk around the building to get inside if u haven’t checked in yet.

The price point was excellent, and the breakfast was standard (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc.) but hearty. There was plenty of seating in the dining area.

    This was one of those times that the value and what I received were spot on. We had a room on the 8th floor and it was clean and very ample. My wife talked about how comfortable the bed was during our trip and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast that was provided. The gym was sufficient enough to get a good sweat going but unfortunately the pool was closed. Its location put us close to everything downtown without actually being downtown. It was a really nice stay!

    Night receptionist Anthony was extremely rude over the phone and hung up on me. I called back upset and he hung up again as soon as he realized it was me. Now furious, I go down stairs...sticking to his narrative about my check in process, which he wasn't there for. We both angry at this point and asks what my room number was. Afrer giving it to him, not thinking he proceeded to threaten me by stating trust me, I will take care of your room. I ended up switching hotels. Still waiting for management or corporate to call me back. Worst hotel experience ever.

    On the negative side, the breakfasts left much to be desired—they did not compare to say Hampton Inn hot breakfasts. The first morning, the only hot items were scrambled eggs and pre-made cheese or veggie/egg white omelets and oatmeal. Day 2 offered these items along with pork sausage patties and sausage gravy—or so the labels said. Unfortunately, by 8:30 the gravy was empty, as was the sausage pan, and the eggs were cold. I decided I would just make pancakes, but it was empty as well. The coffee is from a dispenser that makes one cup at a time—a slowwww time—and it’s strong enough to walk. I was surprised by the location of the hotel. It sits amid a commercial area with large office buildings across the street, storage facilities on another side, and flanked by what was once a strip shopping center. The parking lot is large, but it had a car near the hotel with no wheels, propped off the ground by two tires. That did not inspire confidence. It all turned out well, with no problems with my vehicle, but as a woman alone it did not feel very safe.

    Additionally, while the mattress was OK, the pillows were REALLY BAD. I couldn't get comfortable on them for the life of me. And finally, I was very underwhelmed by the continental breakfast. I don't eat scrambled eggs, and that's pretty much all there was. The Raisin Bran tasted off, and I didn't even bother with the coffee. My stay overall was tolerable but the drawbacks were many.

    Booked two rooms. One was clean, the other room had hair still in the bathtub. Hallway floors were dirty with pieces of trash, dirt, etc. on 5th floor, cable was out on half the channels, pool water was not clear kinda cloudy, pool was shutdown for “maintenance” on second day we were there, pool was rundown with cracks in cement, parking was good, breakfast buffet was good.

    Parking lot was sketchy at best. Absolutely no lighting in a shared lot with an older shopping center. Lights were present but none were working or on. We arrived about 10pm and did not feel comfortable leaving our vehicle in the lot. Several individuals hanging out in the lot around the cars. I parked in an EV charging spot because it was the only spot adequately lit and close to the hotel door were i felt comfortable leaving my automobile.

    1. Noisy room, there is a locked door to the next room. From that room, in the middle of night there was a horrible and disturbing noise. We could not sleep at all. 2. We were almost to lose our breakfast. They serve till 9:30am, it should be a little bit more like 10am

    Arrived at 410 for 3pm check in and the room was not ready. We were told along with other guests that double queen rooms were not ready. Upon being assigned a room, when we exited the elevator, housekeeping was still in our room cleaning. We waited an additional 15 minutes to enter our room. We had an event to be at and needed the room to get ready by 4pm. The staff was rude the entire stay and acted as if they could care less about the guests and their satisfaction!

    We were pleased with everything but during the building process they either didn't put insultation between rooms or something because the room next to us had a 5 am wake up and it sounded like the phone was in our room, and wasn't answered so continued calling back for about 40 min.

    All was well . Good selection for breakfast. I liked the game room and the bean bag type chairs setup The variety of tv shows on multiple televisions is awesome. Very nice lobby area . I will use this hotel again when I come back to Richmond

    Everything was fine. The breakfast was until 9 am only. I think it should be until at least 10 am to accommodate tourists. The nice lady that was in charge of the breakfast area brought us muffins and even told us we could take was still left over but we were fine with the coffee and muffins.

    The breakfast was very good. We really like the fresh coffee machines. We went to the lobby more than once to enjoy it. The room was clean and comfortable.

    The nice lady at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful., very professional. The staff was also helpful and pleasant. It was very comfortable in the rooms nice and clean. I would recommend anyone to come and stay. I will definitely return. I really enjoyed being there 😊 Thank You for being Courteous.

    Close to the musuems and other good restararaunts..clean rooms...awesome lounge with bean bags to watch the 12 t.vs..the only downside was the pancake maker was broken.

    Overall the property appeared to have gone through some recent updates/ The lobby area was very nice for HI with some modern furniture and large TV Wall. The rooms were nice for what we needed for a quick weekend in Richmond but the large mirror was not clean, there apeared to be food or something on different walls and the bathroom had a slimy tub and sticky floor. The surrounding area seemed okay but coming in late at night it was strange to find people in the parking lot "hanging out" and even a couple sitting in a small pickup just hanging in a running vehicle...made me slightly uneasy. Thumbs up to being dog friendly.

    Everything was great except that my room was just above the smoking area and it sounded like a party until around 12:00. The rooms in the front of the building are probably just fine.
