    The location was perfect, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Every interaction we had with the staff was pleasant, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

    This was an awful stay it was 96 degrees outside and no air conditioning in the rooms. We had to go to target to buy fans. Staff told us they would discount and that never happened

    The hotel and Spa is in a lovely area of Richmond. The staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. Shula’s steakhouse is in the lobby, so a good meal is always waiting. We will stay here every year on our travels from Florida to New York.

    We will never stay again as there was no microwave, paid parking (for an empty parking lot), plus paid parking is not necessary no one is walking to any of the close locations. The paid parking was just a money grab. the bathroom needs up grading. Why is the toilet that close to the shower door and the glass door of shower can’t be opened if the bathroom door is even half open/a glass door at that. The fresh towel rack is over the toilet. Bathroom layout is just weird and small. Plus no free breakfast. We prefer their sister hotel Hampton Inn suite.

    Staff unprofessional and very rude. Night shift manager hung up on after being very rude, talked over top of me and told me they don’t have to explain the non refundable pet deposits for each dog because I signed the paperwork. I was double charged for one night stay because I had pets. Their unexpected charges that won’t be explained. They treat the customers poorly and act annoyed that you are there.

    This is one of the best Hilton’s have stayed. Literally near restaurants and shopping. Staff were so nice and accommodating. There is a spa in the hotel you have to book a day in advance. They have a 24 hour gym and a pool and hot tub. There is a restaurant in the hotel you can get food. The negative the pool is under 14 need parents with you anything else is fine. I booked for the pool. So many kids in the pool Sat and most of Sunday and teens. I couldn’t enjoy it nor did I try. I finally got to enjoy the pool area Sunday around 8:45 pm. The same two teens were in the gym around 14 years just doing stuff like sitting around and talking. We got in the pool they open the privacy curtain to be seen. We played them off. When that didn’t work they came in the pool area with their gym clothes no pool clothes just to get attention. One of which purposely walked to the hot tub were we were. They put get in and sat so we waited to see what would happen. She started to call her friend over to try to get a reaction. We decided to leave but we acted like we were ready to go. Soon as we started to leave they left. I really hope this establishment thinks about adult hours. Especially since there is a restaurant/bar inside. 6AM-8AM adult swim 18 on up and 8pm-10pm adult swim only 18 on up. Gym should be 16 on up out even 18 on up because kids or young teens could get hurt using equipment. Lobby hour

    The location in Short Pump was great. This was one of the loudest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Children were running up and down the hallways knocking on guest doors. Playing with the elevators etc. I am sure it was harmless fun, but for the price we paid per night, and the fact it’s considered a resort w/ a spa, we thought it would be a bit more upscale.

Her attitude was dismissive and rude; it felt like a basic request was a massive inconvenience to her when there were plenty of help and people standing around talking to one another.     I highly recommend the Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump! I stayed for 3 days in Dec 2025 and had an excellent experience. I was extremely pleased with everything. The overall cleanliness was spotless. The desk staff were friendly and professional. The food and drinks at the bar were delicious. The bar staff was attentive and engaging. I had so much fun getting to know the bartenders and exchanging stories. I also went to the spa on my last day and had the BEST massage I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the masseuses name, but she is from Ukraine and she has magic fingers. My neck muscles and frozen shoulder felt 1000% better after the massage. The walk from the spa to my car was like floating on a cloud. I also met a woman in the waiting area who described the fantastic spa experience she had. I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter in Midlothian next month. I'm looking forward to the hotel stay and another spa service.

    My wife and I went for a 3 hr hike during the day and then wanted to have a nice date night and dinner with some shopping in Short Pump. The rooms are clean and the facility is nice, but we only had cold water after a long hike for showers. You have to pay to park. No continental breakfast. Check in was poor and disorganized. Staff act as if they are performing brain surgery at the front desk. The pool and hot tub were not usable because the kids overrun it without parent supervision. The amount of money you have to spend to stay here, I would expect much more. I have stayed in hotels for half the cost and received much better customer service and accommodations. I will not stay here next time. I will try one of the many other options nearby.

    This Hotel was well maintained. Beautiful inside and outside. The location was perfect, especially if you enjoy shopping and dining out, or you could just dine - in at the hotel or order room service. There was a Bar center at the front of the hotel, a conference room to hold seminars and a spa.

    My stay was great until I had to drive 3 hours back to pick up my daughter and nephew swim wear/clothes I left at the property. I called the hotel when I got home when I realized that I didn’t have their wet clothes. I called the hotel and asked if housekeeping found them and they went to check. Housekeeping found them. I asked if they could wash them for me and I was willing to pay over the phone and name all the items in the hotel bag. I told Wayne that I was able to come back up that way the weekend to pick the items up. I just didn’t want the clothes to mildew by the being wet until I was able to return. We checked out on Sunday and I was ongoing to return that Saturday. I was told they do not take payment over the phone due having past issues with payment. I talked with the manager Wayne and he could not assist me with any other arrangements. I explained that I had to work the next day and still nothing. So I had to get back in my car and drive 3 hours back to get my daughter and nephew clothes. My daughter had her favorite pants and shirt in the bag, her new swimsuit and my nephew new swimwear also. So after all that I will not be staying at this hotel again because they could not accommodate me in any way. I understand policy’s but sometimes you can make accommodation for someone that is willing to pay and lives 3 hours away. They could have sent me an invoice. My family and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

    We've stayed in this hotel many times over the years and I've always been satisfied. This time we were very disappointed that they now charge for parking at the hotel. The price of the hotel per night is a little steep so we feel like it was just another way for them to pinch off more money. We will not be staying there again, too many nice places right around the same hotel that do not charge for parking.

    Stayed here for a quick overnight trip. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had a bit of an issue with the elevators and my room key but staff took care of it. My room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was best out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The TV was huge, the bed was super comfortable. This hotel is in walking distance from Short Pump Town Center which is a plus. We had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. The food was delicious and so was the breakfast. My only issue was the pool. The pool water was very murky and the walking area around the pool was not very clean. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

    The staff at this Hilton were open and welcoming. Each staff member with whom we came into contact was helpful and gracious. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only drawback was that there were no bins for recycling materials.

    The reason for the stay was to relax in the spa and the hot tub. Neither were open. Would have been nice if somebody would let a person know this before they check in so you have a choice as to going to a different place that has a functioning hot tub. Never did figure out if you could order room service as nothing in the room mentioned it.

    The property is superficially nice and the staff was very nice and breakfast was good (paid) butttt coffee machine no work, safe no work and peleton bike in exercise room broken. Needs a little maintenance pool didn’t look that clean either.

    I was only in town for a few days, so I did not have time to check out all of their amenities. However, I did go the restaurant and the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend ordering the mushroom ragout. The service from my arrival was top tier. I could not leave the desk without becoming a rewards member. Whether it is quick or long trip, I would highly recommend staying here.
