It was walking distance to Wawa. The air conditioning didn't kick the way I wanted it to at first, but I had to give it time eventually. Shower worked the same way. It was lukewarm.

Quiet, well maintained property, helpful staff. Ac worked good, hot water was hot and the check out process was quick

It was extremely run down and ghetto. Loud music blasting next door at 2 am. Room was dirty, water damage on walls and ceilings and just down right nasty. Only plus side was the kid at the front desk was very nice.

The hotel is in a bad part of town. Although the room appeared clean, the decor and feel of the room was straight out of the early eighties. The walls are paper thin. We experienced multiple rooms with fighting tenants and some with "loving" tenants. My son and I were immediately approached by someone, whom appeared to be on drugs, asking for a cigarette, and were asked for money the next morning. If it werent for the 9 hours of driving we had just accomplished, I am not sure either of us would have slept.

I had tried to call several days ahead of time to confirm my reservation, to no response. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarettes, the sink was leaking and there was a large puddle of water underneath it. Not a single surface had been wiped down or cleaned from the previous guest, the shower was dirty and tiles were falling off. My wife and I walked into the room and immediately walked out to find another hotel to stay in. A refund would be kindly appreciated.

The only reason I’m not giving this a zero is I had a fridge and a microwave in my room. Also it was just and overnight stay. Also it’s false advertising on the sign saying rooms were newly renovated. Room looked worse than a hotel room in the 70’s and the whole hotel including registration reeked of smoke!! I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless it was an emergency situation like your car broke down and you needed a place to sleep.

The one outlet has the cover removed and it felt like a fire hazard. Toilet kept running, and their were burn marks in the sheets. The lights kept going off and on without touching them, and they said it was freshly redone. Also they couldn't find me in their system when I had the confirmation pulled up on my phone.

This is an inexpensive hotel only a couple of miles from the attractions of Richmond. The room was very dirty and run down and had a kind of bad smell. Very close to the stadium. Wouldn’t be my first choice to stay again, but you can’t beat the price so close to town.

Very moldy shower curtain. Smoking room (wanted nonsmoking). Bathroom door didn’t close. Missing microwave tray. Splatters on wall. I didn’t have high expectations with low price and was only staying short time so didn’t want to spend a lot but this wasn’t fit to be charged money for.

Ok, so I’ve stayed at my fair share of cheap hotels, but never have I been to one that had piss stains on the toiled seat, and feces and graffiti on the bathroom walls. I requested a no smoking room, the room next to me smoked so much I could taste it in my room. The “clean” towels for my room were yellowed. I stay the night over and killed about 5 roach. I was so scared of roach or bugs going into my luggage that I slept with all my clothes on. one of the rags looks like it was previously use so I didn't use any of the towels there I would not recommend this for family at all, maybe truckers that are passing through.

Terrible condition. Everything was broken, even the towels. A non-smoking room smelled like pure cigarette. The bed covers had cigarette burns.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. When booking we booked a room with 2 double beds when arrived we received a bed with a king. No shampoo, tiny bars of soap, evident water damage, saging celing in the bathroom, the dead bolt wouldnt work, no channel list and most important of all....no bible. Also no coffee maker or coffee and no breakfast like was advertised on their web site. They had snacks that were a bit over priced though.

Our room had bed.bugs, there were tweaker drug dealers who looked like they lived on the first floor and were not inly indiscreet but also aggressively pushing sales on pther guests. The sex worker next door seemed nice. The zombie like homeless wandering the premises were chilling.

The police were called on other guest in the hotel and sat in the parking lot for a solid 2 hours. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I did not have an enjoyable stay here. I have basic expectations for a hotel: that it's clean and comfortable. The Diamond Inn did not even meet these basic standards. There were stains on the sheets on my bed and hair on the floor and hair in the shower. Also there were crumbs on the carpet: the room clearly had not been cleaned. Also you should be aware that this hotel has a policy whereby once you check in, you can't cancel. This sign is posted on the lobby door. I did not feel safe parking my car there either. There were some questionable people roaming the parking lot at night.

Run down room. Needs to be remodeled and updated. I understand you get what you pay for, and for 50 bucks there’s no satisfaction. Ice storm killed my power and a lot of people. So there where not many rooms. I should’ve kept the room I had the night before. Thankfully that morning my lights where back on. And I got to go home!

I Travel for work and I made a reservation in advance to stay at this motel. When I got there after working all night and driving all day I went in to check in. I told him my name and he asked me if I was staying 4 days. I stated no that my reservation was for 2 days and that I travel for work and will only be in town for the 2 days scheduled. He then informed me that No I will not be staying there that because of the chance that the new virus apreads they are only taking guests that are staying 4 days or longer. I cant believe that a motel would do that. I was very angry and tried to tell him again that I do not know this area that I make reservations in advance for a reason. He didnt care in the least bit. Need better refrigeration for food storage. Need 2 times for daily room cleaning; restocking of toiletries. Person in room past 11am, return at a later time: only one time cleaning. Had ironing board but no iron.

Best stay at the diamond inn. Room was big. Service was great. Front desk was very patient with me. Everything was clean. Of course the model of the room was older. But, it did the job!

Walked in to a room that obviously had not been cleaned in weeks. There were tissues and dirt on the floor, stains on the towels, mirror, and tables. There was a used razor just sitting around, the entire room was overall just disgusting. The bed had a large clump of bed bugs, the sheets had human blood on them, and there were hairs in the bed. I wish i could rate it 0/10 stars. For the love of God please never stay here, it is not worth it.

Room is spacious and cozy was sort of language barrier but all staff was warm and kind it was appreciated amongst the circumstances help me alot to accommodate my needs

Was basically a dive motel, but expected it to be.

It is an older hotel but the roim was clean and big. Bathroom was clean and the water was hot. It was also quiet. Plenty of parking and it is right off the highway.

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Everything in the room looked new. Great service

Its totally, get what you pay for hotel experience, but the traffic nouse from the interstate was too much. Seemed like you could hear every car driving by.

Like cleanness of room and staff was friendly, I didn't like the fact that they don't serve breakfast.

I wouldn't return, but it was very cheap for how close it was to downtown and thats probably the ONLY good thing about it

This hotel is the worst ever I stayed here a entire week loved it and then was told I could not stay there after I waited all day until check in time patiently they refused service because of others actions. I had to call the police to have the door opened for someone who almost overdosed because the desk refused to let the paramedics in no until the fired department came and had permit to bust down the door he finally let them in. This hotel was great until they showed how they don’t care about the faithful customers who stay here

Not in a good area, so I wouldn’t book this with the idea of walking anywhere. Room is decent enough to sleep in. I would look at other options if I were staying in this area again.
