Not so great... Roaches and Roach traps all over the place. Bad internet. Roudy guests and lots of music and smoking outside. Made it work but not what I was hoping for.

Not the ideal place to stay. Many of the people there are permanent residents because they are displayed. Mattresses were disgusting, the floors needed to be swept, found a roach in the room, and felt uncomfortable the entire stay. Did not have any outside electrical ports to charge anything. Parking was taken up by trailers that had destroyed cars on them.

There was coffee in the morning which was good, but very little in the way of breakfast. Just plain bread and cold cereal.

Bad hotel for the price, not even worth a 1* unfortunately, It is unsanitary, lots of bugs, we found one on the bed, and one in the breakfast area, walking around the cereal and milk area. The picture of the breakfast area shows tables and chairs, unfortunately, these are non existent. The breakfast itself is very cheap, pretty much nothing there, we skipped it anyway due to the bug we saw. The place was noisy, we could hear everything in our room, people talking and screaming outside until 4AM, people moving furniture, closing doors hard and walking upstairs, loud cars, trucks and motorcycles. Avoid at all cost!

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and we only stayed one night instead of 2 due to our plans changing. The room was clean to our satisfaction. I was disappointed with the breakfast that was offered. The pastry section was almost empty at 7:00 am when I went to get my breakfast but the coffee was fresh!

The location was close to 95. The bathtub had a large stain in it. The tv only worked part of the time and the remote was broken the entire stay. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. I had to get my key re-programmed several times during my stay because it didn't work. There was no "do not disturb" sign to put on the door for privacy.

I was in a room in the back building and it smelled like mold, the door didn't really close so there was a gap letting air in, and it was noisy with both the highway right outside and people. Breakfast is just coffee and cereal. The only upside is that it is cheap.

The room was dingy and the paint was peeling. One of the locks on the door was broken. Not pet friendly. After being on the road for 12 hours needed the rest which is the only reason we stayed. The pictures they posted online did not match what we saw when we were there. The towels were dingy and very thin and cheap. They should also state that it’s a continental breakfast. Checked in around 6pm and we were out by 3am. Was to grossed out to stay any longer. NEVER AGAIN!

There was dirt in the bathroom. I didn’t feel like it was clean. I put personal items in a towel on the vanity because I didn’t want chem touching it. I bagged my pjs and washed them before wearing again. I wish we returned to office for a refund and went to a better facility. The name is very inappropriate. Nothing.

Non smoking room, smelled of smoke. Strange guests in rags was standing on the second floor 208?209? at 3:30 groaning. Even asked if we smoked. Besides atmosphere and smell. We slept amazingly.

It’s convenient and right off of the interstate. They have opened up a new wing, that’s wonderful. The room was clean and had no smells like other places. Americas best value is my go to stay. The traffic at times can be a little challenging.

Breakfast was ok. We had two rooms both were dirty. One had peeling paint in the Tub. One smelled like dead rodents. The manager just sprayed air fresheners., We got there very late so we had to make the best of it.

This place is disgusting. The rooms are dirty. The rooms are roach infested. They forced Expedia to wait 2 days to resolve my cancellation. And then they refused to issue me a refund. They inconvenience my trip, and I learn a lot from this experience. Always pay for the protection plan for one. Always check the reviews before paying.

The front guy said I could have company after late night and it threw me off, because how are you going to dictate who I bring in my room. It was disrespectful to say the least. There was broken glass on the property.

There was no breakfast, every room I’ve booked had roaches and nothing was wiped down, I had to wipe the entire room and buy bug spray to keep the roaches away while I slept, the tvs do not work and the remotes to them are in other rooms and people sit and control and flip the channels in your room.

Was woken up by some guy knocking on our door 4:30 AMfor over 30 minutes saying baby let me in.. We told him several times that he had the wrong room but he continue to knock. So I called the front desk and he said he would look at the cameras and come check it out. The guy stopped for about five minutes and then started up again. So I asked for an extended check out because we got woken up and they offered an hour but check out was 11 o'clock. We were extended to 12 at 9 o'clock in the morning, they're outside the room door with a gas, power, leaf blower blowing the sidewalk off and could not sleep so we checked out by 11. And it's all the front desk again about my situation and all they offered to do so look at the cameras no discount no refund no nothing.

I paid for a king size bed in a smoking room and they gave me a double bed room smoking room. Front desk help, Al Patel was fantastic, however, for the hotel to have been mostly renovated, it still was not in the best of conditions. Still one of my favorites, just wish they had things more under control like cleanliness. But thanks Al for making it the best it could be at the moment.

In general it is okay for the money but the room has some bad odors and cockroaches everywhere and the breakfast is not great Other than that Front desk staff Al Patel is nice and friendly

Found multiple roaches in the room. The sheet had a large stain on it. The remote was taped together and did not work. The lampshades had stains and cracks in them. There were multiple burn holes in the blanket. If it wasn’t the only hotel available that night I would not have stayed.

The next room was a tiny bit nicer I guess but saw two roaches while in that one. Staff was friendly I have to say but definitely wouldn’t stay again!

You get what you pay for. That said, room was clean but had a bad smell and was in rough shape. People were hanging around outside and didn’t seem like a super safe location. Ok for a few hours sleep very close to highway while passing through but would not stay again. Definitely worth spending a few more dollars for a different place.

When my boyfriend and i woke up to check out my car was missing when i went to the front desk i was told i had to wait for the hotel manager to arrive just to rewind the cameras to see what happened to my car i had to call the police to find out what happened to my car. All they were able tp do is offer us food till the manager showed up

Definitely could have been neater. Very noisy due to location beside interstate. Location was selected due to proximity of venue I was there for (2.1 miles away) but in reality it was 22 miles away. Guess Google measured that the way crow flies, which was misleading. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had really cold Minnis fridge and air conditioner cold but controls were totally worn out, took several attempts to adjust and finally got it comfortably never changed.

Simply disgusting. Dirty, smelly, filthy place. The room smelled like an ashtray. We asked to change the room as it was impossible to stay there with the kids, the guy looked straight into my eyes and said that this was a nonsmoking room and they had nothing else. Dirty linens with holes in them, torn shower curtain, broken furniture. No tables in the "breakfast area". Please do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel.

The outside of the hotel not a single light. The room stinks and didnt have a proper lock on the door. Your a brave person if you stay there

Big gap all around the room door, deadbolt just barely caught, privacy latch loose, smoke detector missing, lamp shade in bathroom missing, bathtub didn't drain, little or low water from faucet in lavatory, thread bear towels.

Need more eateries in the area

It was ok. Thought it was clean. Woke up to bugs on my leftover pizza.

The room stink and had small roaches, I told them that and the lady asked me to open the door for a little while. I asked for a refund and was denied, which I thought would’ve rightfully been given to me because of the room but my experience was terrible.

Bed could have been softer but everything else was great

Accommodations are tooling care of, Rooms Are clean. No Bugs at all. IBiggest part is the Price is fair in the Evonomy we are living in. I would most Definitely stay here on Travels again! Keep up the good work. Thank You RVA

The sign said newly remodeled, they should take sign down. Overpriced and kind of shabby.

I'll say this it has roaches, it didn't have a shower curtain and only had two pillows for two double bed. The sink drain was leaking.

No phone in the room. no one in the office late at night. room next to us was very loud from 2 am to around 4:30am. Someone banged on my door at 3 am wanting in. Didn't know the person or persons. Told them to go away.

We needed to make an unplanned trip to Richmond, and as such, i booked a same-day (no cancelation) room rental for later that night and we headed out after 6pm to drive the 3 hours north. When we arrived to our room and turned on the lights, there were live roaches running down the walls, dead and live bugs in/on the microwave, and black spots (that wipe off) in between the sheets.The light fixutres above the mirror and the sinks didnt have bulbs in them, and our non-smoking room had cigarette burn holes through all the layers of bed coverings including the mattress pad. I was afraid to set any of my belongi g down for fear of bugs getting in them. We left the room and returned to the checkin desk in less than 4 minutes. The clerk offered us another room, next to the first, (gross, as bugs in one room would mean bugs in the next), but refused a refund, saying it would have to go through Expedia. My husband and I left and got a hotel room down the street, where we contacted Expedia. Knowing that i had booked a no-cancelation room, i was contacting them mainly to file a complaint against America's Best Value Inn for the live bug activity and the overall unhygienic conditions of their accommodations. I was told to hold, and the CSR contacted the motel and then informed me that America Best Value Inn declined to issue a refund as they have "a policy that they follow in these situations." I thought that booking through Expedia was how one prevented against this exact situation?

Assigned 3 rooms before actually getting into a room that was ready (we arrived after 5 PM). No shower curtain in bathroom. Towels were extremely small. At 1 AM, another couple tried to enter our room because hotel clerk forgot to change our original unmade room to the one he finally assigned to us, so at 1 AM the room we were in was assigned to another couple. No great places to eat around this area. Overall staff was nice, but our experience was not.

Not to happy about my room there are roaches croaking around there are lights that don’t work the microwave was dirty the toilet paper holder was broken in the bathroom don’t think I will be coming back here probably should get my money back as well

It’s what you would expect from a $70 room. Bed was not super comfortable. The room was clean. OK for just somewhere to sleep.

The rooms were dated. The furniture was broken. There was no towels. The front desk said he was on the overnight shift and could not help us. Poultry breakfast selection. First full of rooms in the back were still up a flight of stairs

The place is a dump, but what do you expect for this price? It desperately needs an overhaul and the traffic noise is significant.

The water in the shower did not get hot at all. We let it run for over an hour & it still didn’t get hot.

The floors hadn’t been cleaned in who knows when. There was rags left from the last person who stayed there. There was food and drink stuff spilled all in the drawers and under the mattress. Found a roach in the bathroom on the tub and a spit ball on the wall along with some kind of black stuff on the shower curtains.Fleas were in the bed and in the carpet. I asked for smoking but got put in none smoking and there was burn holes everywhere I was very confused with that. Over all the nastiest place I’ve ever seen. We left and found a different hotel.
