This place was horrible. Check in was a disastrous experience. They wouldn't grant me my first floor request said that the second floor was the only room avaliable. However more than half of the rooms were empty. There was food all over the ceiling and walls in the kitchen. The air conditioner was turned all the way off when we first got into the room so we turned it on turned it all the way down it was 90° in there and it never got below 84 staff was horribly rude trash all over the ground outside and they wanted to charge me $100 deposit on a room that cost $45 to rent I have requested a refund Expedia says that they do not give them and I'm pretty sure that the people in the office won't Grant it either because they're just not a very helpful people

Fridge did not work. Beds was not bad. Remote to tv had back off it and had to hold batteries to get it to work. Needs lots of updates to make it better.

Very dark and could not find my room at night there was no lighting in the parking lot. They took my money even though I did not stay there.

We had the suite with 1 king bed in the loft and a queen bed downstairs. The space itself was actually great and roomy for a family — but unfortunately, it was not clean. There’s a kitchenette but no pots or pans, no plates or utensils. On our first day, the bathroom tissue literally had maybe 20 squares left. The toiletries were tiny mismatched travel-size shampoo and conditioner bottles, so definitely bring your own. It just felt like the room was barely checked before guests arrived. It could be great but the staff could not be bothered. the staff! they can’t be bothered to actually care abou their clients. it’s like they get paid anyway whether they give a sh*t or not. the “free breakfast” was a joke. it was the SADDEST we’ve had. On the 1st morning, I thought maybe because we came late and most are gone and the staff will not refill anymore. The 2nd morning we came early and it was the exact same spread from the previous day and we had to ask for coffee and milk.

Just pay the extra few dollars for a better hotel because the small savings isnt worth it. The room we received was just horrendous and the staff were so rude. We came down at 9 am and the staff couldn’t even get me some juice for breakfast. I had to almost beg for a cup of lukewarm water and I couldn’t even get some dang ice cubes. Just a horrible hotel and the employees were so unprofessional. The room was so dirty and they couldn’t even change the sheets, when you pay $80 I think the bare minimum I should receive is some clean sheets.

Breakfast is warm and fresh and they have a waffle maker. Kitchen is fully equipped.

The only good thing was the staff they were all very nice It felt very dirty and they might as well have had no internet not even my phone would connect to it and they have roaches!

The kitchen and carpets were disgusting. Went back to the office to see about a diffrent room. They gave us a key to look at another room they said was" renovated ". But it was the same as the other one just with paint. When we took our stuff from our room to our car there was a man and his pit bull sitting on the stairs he was smoking weed. When my daughter tried to walk past him his dog tried to attack her. I was able to get a full refund for our stay and went somewhere else. Please dont stay here the pictures are deceiving.

Couldn’t find any The hotel’s maintenance standards are quite poor, and the overall cleanliness is lacking. There was a strong, unpleasant odor in the facility, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Parking is free and it off the highway. Near a lot of really great restaurants. Not plates or cups or pans like it used to have. There is a sitting desk in the suite but there’s no chair to sit in to actually sit at the desk. This is supposed to be an extended stay, but it’s not suitable for an extended stay. It was a waste of money, but if you have literally nowhere else to go, I guess you can stay here. They charge $10 per person that stays in the room. That’s not listed on the website so if you think you’re getting a good deal you’re actually not. Please go somewhere else if you can.

Although it had relatively good ratings and wasn’t inexpensive, my experience was disappointing. The host’s behavior was not professional, and the place itself was poorly maintained and quite unclean.

No I did not use the laundry service but I did see that they had one. The room was ok . Could have had more towels for the amount of ppl in the room. The bathroom was a lil out dated. Kitchen amenities could have been more. Parking was ok the area was well lit. Other than that the overall stay was good.

There was paint all over the room, on the bed floor and couch. The tub had multiple stains and black flakes came out when trying to shower. The shower curtain also had stains.

40.00 charge for extended stay check out 11 and check in 3p. This the only time I encountered this ever. Added 20 per day.

Someone upstairs that had not paid for stay. More than likely a child of maintenance. Very annoying and refrigerator did not get cold. Stove was rusted, so was microwave. Dirty pot under cabinet.

Desk clerk very unfriendly and not helpful. Room numbers are not visible from the parking lot, we had to get out of the car and walk around to find our room. The bedding smelled like smoke and consisted of only a very thin comforter type blanket. There was no place to get ice.

I had to go to 3 different rooms due to something being wrong in each one of them water shooting everywhere when trying to shower fell through the couch bed had no springs slightly injured myself thankful it wasn’t my children stove eyes none worked The staff was rude and inconsiderate, couldn’t accommodate anything i’m willing to make my stay better after switching rooms multiple times during the late hours I just went and asked for more tiles and racks for me and my children. I couldn’t even get that because they switched my room so many times it says it was only one person booked for that room. There was no compensation of any sort no consideration or sympathy for all the hardships will never return.

If I could give zero stars and still leave a review I would. I have stayed in many many hotels and this by far was the worse. When we first got there the front desk lady was super rude then we get to the room and at first glance it was ok not the best but ok. My husbands uses the bathroom once and the toilet stops working we call the front desk and they did nothing said we could come get a plunger after explaining that was not the issue the lady still did nothing. With it being Texas we turned on the AC which then leaked on the bathroom floor which you could see was a problem for some time because of the water stain my husband actually slipped and hurt himself once again the front desk did nothing. There were no kitchen utensils no pans no cups and this says it has a full kitchen. Then my husband seen a roach in the bath tub. When going to the front desk to ask for things they are supposed to give I was only given one roll of toilet paper mind you we were there for a week. Was offered no fresh towels or blankets or anything. The breakfast was not even really a breakfast it was just waffles and toast. They didn’t even hold the breakfast during the times they stated which was 6-9 I get there at 8 and it’s cleaned up already. If I could get a refund I so would this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

We didn't use kitchen. AC was good. Bed sheet and towel (one each) were stained. Room was specious. It desperately needs renovation. After that it would be a great place to stay.

Appliances looked like they were from the 1990's, there was a faint smell of cigar in a non-smoking room, the couch was all stained up, and I saw two roaches during my stay. In the bathrrom the paint was peeling off from the humidity.

Our stay at Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Richardson was good. Our suite was super clean.The grounds were maintained well. There was always someone available at the front desk. The staff was polite and always helpful. Bed was comfortable. TV was excellent. Nice breakfast options. Great location. Will stay here again if we're in the area.

Woke up and saw bed bugs crawling towards underneath the bed, the walls look like their is stains on it for years, there is dust everywhere, the drawers in the kitchen almost fall off when pulling them. The stove looks unsafe and the over is unclean.. would not recommend this place

The room was supposed to be furnished with pots, pans, dishes, etc. It had one plate, no forks, and no cooking accessories. They did provide some but there was no dishwasher detergent l, etc. The TV did not work. It had volume but no picture. Maintenance did come promptly and replaced the entire TV.

If you are in a tough situation and need a safe apartment style with a kitchen place to stay or live this is a wonderful option. Cost efficient considering it is essentially an studio apartment. Also has duplex 2 story style rooms as well. If it wasn't for a hotel like this I wouldve been in much much worse situation. This place saved me and put a REAL roof over my head for a few weeks while also having the ultra rare stove/oven kitchen to cook REAL meals. Extremely thankful for this place

Deposit of $100 dollars is required when you check-in and the room was not very clean. The pillowcases were dirty and had stains, which makes you wonder if they actually wash and change the bedsheets everyday.

On a positive note, the cleaning staff were warm and courteous. It’s likely they’re overwhelmed by the size of the rooms, and perhaps additional staffing could make a significant difference. Despite these hiccups, I still had a pleasant stay overall.

Nice clean property it’s not in a busy area so you have your privacy . It’s not far off highway you can go north or south to downtown . Big units. They use to be apartments.. I would go back for sure

It was the most low budget hotel. The staff are rude and they threaten to take your deposit for everything. You can not have company it's posted on the desk. My children could not see me.

Apparently I booked a smoking room which is whatever, but the room was just...not it. There was mold on the ceiling, and could smell the mold in the shower. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but just couldnt. Checked out early. Staff is friendly enough, just really needs some work.

This extended stay hotel appears to be a prior apartment complex. While it is spacious, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, there were bugs crawling on the walls and on the floors. The air conditioning would not cool down under 78.5° and the vents throughout the unit were disgusting. I was appalled at how dirty all the surfaces were and it appeared not to have been cleaned in weeks. I was afraid to sleep in the bed for fear of bed bugs. For $75 a night, you certainly would expect something much much better.

There were lots of cockroaches and the AC wasn't working well. It was a total discomfort for me. I didn't want to cancel the booking as I would be losing money. I simply lived with discomfort. I am not sure why they didn't do anything to get rid of cocroaches. Cockroach was crawling in my food, and I had to trash it.

Booked this due to thunderstorm power outages. Upon check in I noticed there were crumbs on the dining table, the toilet did not flush well. WiFi did not connect with password provided. They are not flexible with guests on cancellation policy.

The dishes and silverware were dirty, and although I was only there for 1 night and did not plan on using them, it would still be nice to have clean utensils. They charge a deposit, and have to check the room before you can receive your deposit, but didn’t check it to see that the bed linens were soiled beforehand. The rooms need a huge upgrade.

There were bugs everywhere (Roaches, bedbugs) And I also found a bag of serious drugs in my room. No Exaggeration, I could not make this up if I tried. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in renting and Reservation of a room. The room smelled unbearable and when we turn on the lighting in the kitchen and restroom areas, there was roaches running around everywhere I asked for a refund and was denied will not be recommending Hawthorn suites by Windham ever again.

The room was given the landlord special and just had gobs of paint covering the imperfections. The light bulbs had paint on them and the faucet was plumbed in backwards. My husband had a weird man give him his phone number on a business in the lobby and told him to call if he wanted to experience "the dark side of Dallas". There were also lots of less than desirable women around which we could only assume to be prostitutes. We had to take multiple showers when we got home just to feel like the "ick" from that place was gone. The building has potential to be really nice if the owners just cared enough to do a deep clean of the rooms, wash the sheets once in a while, and put down roach killer.

Absolutely god awful area, dirty with people wandering around the property making me feel unsafe and super noisy. Horrible dirty room, I checked in and left 3 hours later. They refused a refund stating they were “ fully renovated”. Absolute bull.

There were guests arguing terribly loud and then started fighting physically. The screaming could be heard thru the entire place and management did nothing. The place was outdated and falling apart. The sheets had stains on them so I had to go request new ones. I will never use this place again nor recommend it to anyone.

These are like apartments. There are no elevators so you will have to be climbing stairs to get to the room (not in descriptions) . When it says two beds they are in two different floors. Believe me when I say the room was filthy. There were other peoples belongings still in the room and bugs in the bed.

With just a little effort, this could be a really good concept just go through and fix a few things and make it really nice clean it up fix it up! I don’t want to step on nails or touch greasy spots.

This was the worst room and I looked at two smoking and non. Both rooms had bugs/roaches as I was seeing the rooms. The man literally kicked a roach out the door. If I could have left I would have but it was so late I checked in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. Plus no matter what they have an additional charge they do at the hotel.

I stayed for 7days. The area looked dangerous. Kept a coffee table in front of the door at night. The top cover was dirty on the bed. The sink didnt drain well. I had allergies the whole stay. There were few utensils and dishes and the microwave had the wrong carousel dish. Wouldnt turn. The dishwasher wouldnt close and didnt have any detergent. The icemaker didnt work.

Upon 9 hour drive arrival no ice and freezer had no ice maker. Refrigerator did not cool. Had warm oj each morning. Toilet stopped up. Hair dryer and microwave did not work. Magnetic key did not work on several occasions. In past stays I was satisfied. They had kitchen utensils, pots and pans. Not this time. No coffee maker also. They advertise kitchen suite. So I picked hotel so I wouldn’t have to eat all meals out . Not this time. As a Wyndham member, I would like a refund.

The room was filthy. The kitchen sink had mold on the faucet, the room smelled like dog and smoke but it was a non-smoking room. There was hair under the sheet and on top of the sheet. The bathroom had a leak by the toilet.. the tub was dirty I wouldn't let my dog stay a night in that field

Do not stay here!!! We got our room the pictures in the room were on the floor! Only one tv and it was upstairs! Yes this room had an upstairs and it is creepy! The furniture was old and had scratches all over it. You certainly didn’t want to put your clothes in it or wanted to sit on it. No pillows no towels or no wash clothes. Fridge and stove had to be pulled out of a 80’s home. The place smelled like paint we couldn’t stay there so we went and cancelled the room. The manager apologized and issued a refund but he only refunded the $100 incidental charge but not the charge for the room! Hotel.com hasn’t been much help on getting our money back even though I booked a different room through them to prove my case.

This property is horrible. Do not be lured by the low price. It needs some serious updates. They took an old apartment building and put in some sh*tty furniture and tried to turn it into suites. Barely barely liveable.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. He waived the incidental fee because I told him I wasn’t going to pay an incidental fee that cost more than what I paid for the room. 100$ incidentals for a 50$ room. Yikes

I always liked Hawthorne Suites before. This one was very disappointing.

The suite was spacious and clean however it was old and in need of repair. The bathroom door would not latch a d ther was a hole in the wall. The mattress seemed worn out.
