Clean room and staff. Just the parking was packed

There was not enough parking, The neighborhood was not so great, there was too many people walking the hallways at night.

Safety- I left the next morning. Too many homeless in the parking lot. People “partying” on the walkways. People smoking in the elevator, room was filthy and in dis-repair

It’s in a very loud area at night right on the road just in case people were wondering

There was no hot water in the shower and the bed was so old that the springs were sagging and every time one of us moved the other one moved. The breakfast was old granola bars and coffee that was terrible. The only ice machine is in the lobby and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was installed. The parking lot didn’t have enough spaces for the amount of rooms that were there. We were told to park across the street at the casino’s free parking.

The hotel staff are welcoming and smiling and the clean room I appreciate 👍

I left my jewelry their called next day neither maid or head of maid staff both did not come in to work . When called office Said thy would call us back never did called them back and staff snapped and said she would call management and she had our number and would call back befor the end of day , had to call corporate and make police report.

Definitely needs to be updated and needs proper maintenance. The bathroom especially needed more effort with cleanliness. On our last day there was a cockroach in the room. Will not be staying there again.

Over night I could hear the street noise on a Friday night.

I had a 2 day stay that I spent most of the time trying to coordinate with the staff. I asked for a new room and that was not an option. So I bascalled paid over $200 to help coordinate this and treated me as an employee and not a customer. I think I should receive some type of refund for this horrible service.

Thankful to find a room on Friday of Memorial Weekend. The price was right for what we got. Good enough for the night, but the bed was so hard!

Do not stay here on Saturday nights. Evidently there’s a car club that parks in the Circus Circus parking garage across the street, that blast music so loud that it feels like they’re right outside your room. This last till approximately 2 or 3 AM.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The place is very old and run down. It is attached to the Howard Johnson's. Pretty much the same place. The room smells musty and it is very old. Electrical plugs are broken in the room. The hot and cold water knob on the shower was coming off. They put fake wood flooring on the ceiling and it is coming off. The floor has the same stuff and looks like it is coming up in places. The faucet on the sink is loose and almost fell off. I would not stay here again. Not to mention the cars racing up and down the road and loud music till about 2-3am in the morning. The location is not good. A lot of drug addicts all over the place.

Upon entering, we immediately noticed a hairball attached to the wall and multiple bugs on the floor. The lamp was also in poor condition and appeared heavily damaged and worn. The bed frame had exposed nails protruding from the bottom, creating a serious safety hazard that could easily injure a guest. The bed sheets were stained, raising concerns about cleanliness and sanitation. We also found an opened and apparently used bar of soap in the room. When we brought these concerns to management, we were questioned about why we did not want to switch rooms. However, our concern was that guests should not be placed in a room with these cleanliness and safety issues in the first place. We should not have had to discover and report multiple problems immediately upon entering the room. Overall, the condition of the room was unsanitary, unsafe, and far below acceptable hospitality standards.

Just a block or so from the 3 big casinos. We stayed 1 night due to a late flight and didn't want to pay a Saturday night room fee for just a few hours. Rooms do not deafen the very loud main drag noise. Room was comfortable but very basic. Nice bedding. No light in the bathroom. Switch was gone. First shower in the dark. Recommended for cheap one night.

The staff was friendly and there was a constant presence of housekeeping, cleaning the parking lot, the room was pretty clean and it didn’t reek of cleaning chemicals, thank God I didn’t care for the maintenance guy, trying to drill the door next-door to my room between seven and 830 at night when I was trying to doze off, and there’s no bathtub stoppers I had to create one out of a plastic bag, the pillows, and the mattress was very hard and the girl that checked me in did not tell me about the hundred dollar hold on my card otherwise I would’ve switched credit cards at any rate….

Think long and hard about this one...The problems were numerous. Area is sketchy! Walking to our room, we passed several individuals smoking/vaping over the balcony. Upon entering the room, the television and several lamps did not work as power adapter was bad. Staff was alerted and worked to remedy the situation quickly but frankly the issue should have been addressed before we got to the property! Obviously, it has been a while since room was inspected. Clothing from previous guest wrapped around a desk chair. The room had peeling paint and just dirty. Low water pressure in shower. Very loud during the day with amplified music and during the night until about 4:00 am with cars racing their engines. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and the heat/air was working.

Toilet was clogged, tv remote not working, noisy people outside their rooms. No help from staff. She did have to move us. Which was an inconvenience at 9:30 pm.

Wheelchair van users can't stay here period. No parking. What they have marked as van accessible needs a visit from state inspectors. And the accessible room? Not at all. Don't even consider this hotel wheelchair users. Not their fault, but the noise of the city a total nightmare. If you are able bodied and come here to party or play, this place is dumpy but cheap. But if you need to rest, make sure you bring good earplugs. I use this brand often, but this one? I would not stay here again if they paid me!

The mattress was rock hard - I like a firm mattress, but this one was painfully hard, like sleeping on the floor. The room was dirty and dingy. The lampshades all looked as if they had been in a recent fight. The toilet wouldn't flush and there was no plunger. There were still bits of dried tp stuck to the base of the toilet, evidence that it had overflowed at some point before our stay and all the mess was not cleaned up. We spent most of our trip away from the hotel and avoided using the toilet, but there was an urgent need to use the facility at 2:30am, we had to request maintenance. The desk attendant said he would call maintenance but we couldn't wait so we left to find another option. Ended up using the facility in the lobby and then asked to cancel the maintenance request until the morning. Got a call at 3:45am waking us up after finally getting to sleep that maintenance could come up. No thank you! And the very worst, which admittedly is not the fault of the hotel, was the noise. The hotel was literally falling apart. The sink drained onto the floor. The walls had stains and spills. The bathtub drain didn't work. The refrigerator didn't work. There was no handicap parking. Most staff we're reserved. They had lot of workers, work trucks fill the lot at night, day get your pick parking spot then take a taxi or Uber after dark.

The room they gave me was absolutely disgusting. The walls were almost black with black smudges everywhere The chair was sticky and dirty the controller for the TV was sticky The counters weren't cleaned The toilet seat had a pubic hair on it I couldn't even sit down to go pee I was disgusted mirrors were dirty. It looked like someone lived in it for a long time and were dirty people. I called the front desk several times no answer for about 15 minutes and finally they answer The one girl was trying to say she wasn't on the clock so she couldn't handle it and I had to wait for the other guy to come in so when he came in and I told him about the room and they didn't really want to give me another room but they did. I get into that room and its dirty but not nearly as bad as the other one so I had to bear with it because it was a non-refundable booking. I will never stay there again. I wish I had taken pictures but I was so tired and freaked out

I’ll start by say the lady that check me in did good but for the room I had sucked the door look like it been kick in when you shut it you could see day light through the door jams the room was not very clean the nightstand they had between the beds. The whole front of it was sticky the floor was still dirty. You had different activities going on throughout the night. Over all would not stay there again

Stayed here for the price $63 a night. Didn’t expect much so … room smelled like perfume masking smoke, bathroom needs a paint job and I had to screw the handle back in to the tub so my kid could turn the water on. But average.

Staff did clean standard things like toilet sanitation but some things glossed over. For example the table had a sticky spot next to the lampi had to clean before I could use my work laptop on the table. Floorboard under desk had dinge marks probably from people putting their feet there. The floor had a certain dingy stickiness to it, could not walk in socks let alone barefoot. Easy to improve by increasing a deeper clean schedule where staff cleans, polish, and move furniture etc.

For example the table had a sticky spot next to the lampi had to clean before I could use my work laptop on the table. Floorboard under desk had dinge marks probably from people putting their feet there. The floor had a certain dingy stickiness to it, could not walk in socks let alone barefoot. Easy to improve by increasing a deeper clean schedule where staff cleans, polish, and move furniture etc.

We selected a non smoking room, immediately upon entering the room it smelled like cigarette. It was so bad even after turning on the air. TV did not work, pillows were dirty. Luckily I brought Lysol but the pictures were VERY deceiving. You definitely get what you pay for.

The air conditioner when I got into the room around midnight when it turned off and on it made a loud roar and squeak I couldn't sleep all night. I went to the front desk in the morning and they basically said why didn't you call engineering I don't think engineering was available 2 o'clock in the morning plus I was too tired to get up they said they would give me a discount on the room but never saw it

It's incredibly loud being next to the main street that people rev their engines on. A lot of motorcycles. TV remote didn't work so I was stuck with one channel playing a dog the bounty hunter marathon. I guess one shouldn't expect more for the price you pay. I most likely will never stay there again. At least they had a fridge.

The location was amazing, however the place needs maintenance, there were screws and metal brackets holding the mattresses to floor and to each other they stick out a lot and I hit my ankle multiple times but it could definitely cut someone badly, the extra lock was broken off, there were holes in the wall, our remote for TV had no batteries, the front desk lady was super rude to customers and even to the employee that was training (new) if it wasn't a holiday weekend I would have left and not stayed here!

It is very much a one star property. Do not expect any frills. The fridge and microwave were nice touches, however the paint in the bathroom was peeling from the wall, the bathroom walls were filthy and the floor was uneven.

I stayed for 1 night. Nothing fancy about the property or the room. But it was clean. 1 bed was Rock Hard. The other bed was springy. Bathroom was a little dingy old paint chipping and tub stains. I wasn’t to thrilled about the service. The breakfast to go was self serve coffee and packaged pastry. I asked if I could check out a little later than 11:00am. I was told NO they do not offer late check out. And then immediately felt rushed as soon as 10:45am. They housekeeping kept knocking on the door asking when I was leaving . Ugh I was still getting ready.

The room was dirty, wear shoes. The shower curtain had a bloody hand print and blood streaks down it. Room 319. On the weekend it is very loud. There was a person arguing with their partner walking back and forth in front of rooms from 1 AM to 3 AM. Also loud traffic. Sunday night was not loud, but it was still a bit unsettling staying in such a dirty room. Also weird spots on bedsheets, possible signs of bed bugs. Also a hole in the wall stuffed with tissue. Finally there we streaky marks on photos and down the walls in general. There were cigarette burns in drawers, bathtub and toilet.

The motel is located on one of the main streets, so be prepared to see and hear a lot. Our room was clean, but old and dindgy. Our juccizi tub spit out flakes of blackness when we tried to use it. What a waste when it was the tub that sold the whole package to us. Maid service was supposed to be till 3pm, yet out of all 5 nights we only received it once, and that was only after I inquired about getting our room cleaned. Vending machine which is located in the parking lot outside the office consisted of an old broken down coke machine that didn't work. I don't even know if this motel would be rated a 2 ⭐. Couldn't even shower because the water fluxerated between super hot and cold. Travel lodge was a big let down in Reno and Hotels.com should investigate who and what they are selling to people who look at the pictures they present and think they are getting a good deal. This motel is in the hood of Reno. They have a male maintenance/maid who walks around all day with a hurricane (alcohol bev) in his hands, while working. The male night front office guy has a lot of people who stop by and he hands them something and they hand the guy something and then leaves. Very suspicious. I would never stay here again and I will be more apt to research my next Travel lodge stay anywhere and not count on what Hotels.com represents. In this case we were let down by both Travel Lodge and Hotel.com ...

Located in downtown Reno. Easy walking distance to all major facilities and events.

We managed to get our TV to work one night out of three, but the cable also wasn't working. Having to get a new daily code for internet was annoying but understandable; however, we could not get more than one device connected, with all other devices giving us warning that the code had expired.

Good hotel, everything as expected. Downtown is a very busy and noisy area, just to keep this fact in mind when booking this property. Circus circus is across the street.

Very old hotel, very loud, you can hear everytime someone turns water on in the walls and when their alarm goes off at 3a.m.

Our bed was infested with bed bugs. We checked out and notified the staff. Of course they said they couldn’t do anything since I booked through a third party. That seems to be the obvious answer all the time so they don’t have to reimburse anyone.

The front desk had no layout map to show me, but spoken instructions were clear. The walk to the room was outside, not in a hallway in a building. I was dressed for spring, arriving at 2300. It was cold outside. Breakfast ends at 9. I didn't know that until 0905

The bed was hard, the bath faucet was loose and the toilet paper holder would pull out of the wall when used. The hotel was downtown and I had a corner room overlooking the roadway so it was very noisy.

Place is noisy, someone was drilling and hammering around our room while we were trying to sleep around 9 pm.

We booked 2 rooms. When we arrived to one of the rooms it smelled like smoke. In that same room, the next morning one of the kids had what appeared to be a mosquito bite only to find out it was probably bed bugs because when we were leaving he had a bunch of bites all over his body.

The property was fine the room was fine I just haven't received my deposit back on my account that I put down $100 on the room.

The place has a relatively low score overall, but I think it deserves a bit higher score because most of the reviews probably come from people expecting a 5 star hotel on a 2 star budget. Reno isn't as cheap as it once was, and for the area, this is still a good deal. I got a room with a jetted tub for only a few bucks more, which is real nice after a day of skiing. Lots of food options around, and on the Saturday night I stayed here, there was a lot of ambient noise outside from music, but it cut out after about 11pm letting me sleep fine.

A It was a really cool close to downtown placement to stay at..but check ing in late was a bit of a hassle but other than that you get what you pay for as far as quality super enjoyed the stay but wished it could have gave a safer vibe instead of me fighting to see my car’s safety..visibly …your boy would never know..sheesh!

Horrible stay. Filthy room. One bed was falling apart. Phone handle had sticky g9bs on it. Walls and floors were filthy. Not the hotel's fault, but the noise from racing vehicles from the parkade across the street until4:30 am.

Went here with my partner, when we checked in the lady attending us was so rude and was just staring at us. Property is so bad. The room wasn’t cleaned while we stayed there. We asked the cleaning lady if she could give us clean towels and said no so we went to the front office just for clean towels. I don’t know how this place is still open. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. The only good thing is that is in down town of Reno.

Hot property downtown, but the facilities are not up to date at all. In desperate need of a paint job and floors need to be redone. My shower had no curtain, the mirror has a fat crack and the door would not close all the way. I had to force it shut. The furniture in the room aside from the beds (only clean part) is dirty. The staff was decent. Better in the morning than at night for sure. But beggars couldn’t be choosers

The front desk is the WORST I have ever encountered EVER! They NEVER picked up the phone, NEVER answered any questions and were NEVER HELPFUL in ANY WAY!! We had to do EVERYTHING ourselves. For Example, we had to come to the office to get NEW TOWELS, NEW Hotel Keys, toilet paper and even ICE. They (front desk) just HUNG OUT, talked with each other and looked at their phones--They NEVER pick up their phones EVER!! We are FURIOUS and are looking for a "Monetary Adjustment" for such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

The curtains were coming off of the rail and I slept on the bed not in it. $600.00 for 4 nights was the Circus Circus price. I should have stayed there. And the smell of marijuana was everywhere. Awful front desk service. Their attitudes were condescending and unconcerned with their guests needs. I am a disabled senior with a 9lb service dog. Upon check-in I confirmed I had no PETS. Consequently, my next stop at the desk with my dog in-tow resulted in me being insulted, accused of lying, and humiliated in front of other guests. Never once did they ask for evidence of that my service animal legitimate. Now, five days after checkout, I still do not have my $100 deposit. Not only is this unethical...it is ILLEGAL!!! They cannot justify keeping my $100 and play dumb when I press them on it. One agent barely spoke English and really played the ignorant card. If you are disabled, BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! Spend a few more bucks and keep on driving.

The TV was not working, the lock did not deadbolt, you could see in the room because the curtain didn't cover the whole window and the WiFi password code was already expired and we just checked in. People are up all night, mostly people living hear in weekly's, no customer service at front desk seemed like a nuisance to ask a question like where the ice machine is and very inconvenient it's located inside the office when there open. I recorded what the room and tv were doing as well!

The staffs are friendly and made check in process easy. When checking out, we see many staffs working together to clean rooms. However, floor in our room feels a bit sticky. Everything else looks clean. The green artificial grass outside the rooms are dirty and a bit smelly, and should be remove. Although, it’s out of Travelodge control, people will hang out and start to party at Circus Circus parking garage! Loud musics and making donuts with cars and racing or burning rubbers. Maybe have upgraded windows to help control noise. Even car driving by with loud mufflers makes it hard to sleep.

Parking lot had wet tar everywhere, they tried to cover with a light dust of sand. Ruined my shoes and possibly my luggage. Also when I left there is now tar flung up on my vehicle! Room was awful, poor repair nothing like the pictures! I checked out after 10 minutes and I am trying to get a refund! Clearly whoever did there parking lot tar had zero clue how to do asphalt repairs!

A crackhead was screaming from the room above me for hours, i had to file a noise complaint to the cops twice.

Parking lot had recently been resurfaced but not finished leaving sand and tar everywhere. Rooms have a not so fresh smell and the mattresses were extremely firm. Shower height was not appropriate for a 6’2” individual.

No wifi, the parking lot across the street is out of control on weekend nights as hoodlums are blasting music and revving their engines until 4 a.m. You get what you pay for.

Last minute booking, it was fine for the price. The door didn’t seal well and you could a lot of noise from outside. I still got a good notes rest.

3 of 5 hangers broken, telephone out of order, towel hook broken on back of bathroom door, fire alarm went off late at night and lasted for 10 minutes, breakfast supplies not replenished by 7:50am (breakfast hours 6am-9am), parking lot full of sandy dirt and motor oil spills, sanitation strip was on bathroom toilet seat upon arrival but tissue was floating in toilet, soap was smeared on entire room window (was this for privacy?). None of the other rooms had windows that looked unclean. It was only a one-night stay but I've had better. Bit disappointed but maybe these conditions are the new normal we are supposed to ignore and alliw to happen. Great location but I probably won't be back unless improvements are completed

We had no issues with our stay. The room was clean. Easy check in easy check out. Not a fancy room but absolutely served the purpose and the price was the best offered for a holiday weekend. WiFi not so good. Only thing very challenging was WIFI not a deal breaker for us.

What made this stay so terrible was the parking lot surface. I arrived on a moderately warm day and as soon as I stepped out of my vehicle my shoes sank into the tar. As I lifted my feet the shoes came off. With no other options I put my feet back into my shoes and trudged into the office. On my way I noticed the foot steps of other travelers int the tar, on the walkway, in the elevator. When I step into the lobby I get a warm welcome, but when I ask what is up with the parking lot the answer I get is “ yea I know, do you have a reservation?” I was there for three days got this tar all over my car and room.

The wifi is non existent, the shower goes from hot to cold constantly all the time, office staff were mostly all rude, and the "breakfast" in the morning was a joke. The room was ridiculously overpriced and so i would not recommend to anyone.

They moved me to another room and it was just as bad and had a bad smell so I did not stay here and am requesting a refund!

Overall the experience was nice. The lady auditor charged me twice for the deposit, supposedly by mistake. The room was fine, but needed to be swept. The beds were comfortable. The shower worked just fine and the toilet flushed. Coffee and juice were provided free of charge. I lost my ID and when I tried paying g for another night another female audio was very rude, making me feel like I was lying. But an overall enjoyable experience. I recommend it.

We checked out a day early. The room was found with the following; stains on the bed covering, human hair in the tub, uncleaned toilet, a remote control that did not work, the bathroom door did not close, a dirty towel was found in the folds of our shower curtain when we opened it and the room itself looked like it had not been repaired in years. Sorry Hotels.com it was terrible. Normally I can trust your assessment, but less than one star would have been appropriate.

This property has bedbug. We all got bitten. But the worse thing, the amount of hookers using the hotel to make money. There was a shooting outside the hotel too. To say the least, this was a horrible experience for us. We couldnt even sleep. We were scared for our safety. Guest. Please say somewhere else if all possible, specially if your family is teaveling with you.

I paid cash and my card got charged the 200+ dollars. And I have not received a refund on my card for the charges nor have I received my security deposit of 100.00, that’s over 300 dollars and I’m not very happy.
