The hallway smelled like feces, the toilet ran, and my kids commented on how the walls looked like they needed to be painted. It was very grungy and hard to relax. A dog was barking in the room next to us. There were sketchy people hanging around outside the hotel. I’m not one that needs a 5 star hotel, but I would not stay here again. Ramada’s as a whole have really gone downhill the last few years.

The room was disgustingly dirty! Even the light switches!! We couldn’t take a shower because the water barely trickled out. I reported the issues but nobody helped the situation. We should have received a refund.

The night manager was extremely helpful. As well as when we checked in the front desk, lady was very informative.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed: reasonably firm mattress, pillows neither too fat and solid nor too thin and skimpy. Good lighting, for working at desk and for reading in bed. No problems with noise. Elevator worked well. Problems with the wi-fi for most of the evening. It cut out completely several times, and when it was running was quite slow, causing a number of websites to time out. This is a serious problem: while I like this hotel very much, I'll have to look for another place if I experience further wi-fi trouble.

Reception was not bad (specially there was a guy on duty on 6/6 morning shift). Bad internet reception, except in the lobby. Dirty/old toilet (not cleaning crew's fault) Neighborhood was dirty and a lot of homeless people. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was no breakfast, are you kidding me? The location was good and easy to reach. Front desk Staff was friendly. Ample parking space, the place felt safe but no visible security. There is a very deep repeating vibrating noise in the room, WiFi doesn’t work at all (we are in the 21st century you need to rise up to the occasion), there is no breakfast, the AC/FAN can’t be turned off and old. No refrigerator, no safe for expansive papers etc. I have no idea about your rating system but I wouldn’t give you anything close to what you’re rating yourself.

The pool is non-operational, and under construction. So no swimming, and no hot tub. The room, and hallways did smell like smoke.... both tobacco, and other substances. Elevators were sketchy, and one was out of service during our visit. The bathroom shower was terrible, with no water pressure. The area this hotel is located in, is not one you want to be after dark. There is nothing worth while nearby this hotel, and you will have to drive to get to anything decent. Will never again visit this establishment, as there are many better options out there.

Eventually I called the hotel and was able to talk to the same lady that has written to me through the digital format. I asked her to speak to the two kind front ladies, she just told me I had waited too long, a month, to report the refund. Eventually she authorized a refund for the last day. I had to contact the 3rd party I booked it through to receive the refund which I did do. I don’t have money in abundance, therefore I expect for others be honorable. The ball was dropped here by not changing or updating the checkout. I did ask if I had to do anything else when I was checking out and I was told “no.”

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Sheets were clean. Water pressure was great. The room was in need of carpet repair, bathroom counter repair, TV was dusty, and it smelled bad.

I almost never complain but my initial room was filthy. carpet was torn, smelled like urine and heavy cleaning supplies. They were nice enough to place me in a different room but that one had a used Kleenex by the bed and dead bug on the carpet. I questioned whether the sheets had been washed and decided to sleep in my clothes.

Did not have any amenities for me to use and the staff was not able to upgrade my room due to full reservations. So any leftovers has to be taken out the next day knowing had no fridge for me to use even a microwave to re heat my food.

The door lock was broken. The hot water went cold while you were in the shower. The whole hotel was dated and the staff was not helpful at all. We were there for a festival and we were working from like seven in the morning until nine at night and we come back and they hadn’t fixed the issues that we had and they’d ask us if we wanted to move rooms at nine thirtyish at night and we were too tired for that all I wanted to do at that point was go to bed. Take my shoes off not move all my stuff they should’ve fixed the room while we were gone in the 10 or 12 hours we were gone. One of the staff members told me that she would call me and let me know when it was fixed. She never called me. One of them lied and told us the manager would be in today Monday at 11 o’clock when we called at 11 o’clock today. The manager wasn’t in. They won’t be in until tomorrow. . Do not waste your money pay the same rates at a different hotel and get a clean one at that queen and probably updated. There were no amenities at all, not even a fridge.

The casino was so smokey I could go I to the casino because of my Asthma. I did think it was cool that there was a sliding glass door that kept the smoke out of the lobby of the hotel. The beds were great. Hotels were clean. It will definitely be back.

This hotel is in a very sketchy part of town. A lot of homeless around the property and in the parking lot. Witnessed Drug deals taking place outside the casino and in the parking lot. The room was awful. The bathroom was subpar. The bed was awful. This is definitely not a place that I will stay again and I would never bring my family to this property.

To begin with, the original room assigned to us was dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. After bringing this issue to the attention of the front desk, we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse upon entering the second room. The second room was in a dilapidated and unacceptable condition. There was chipped paint throughout the room, and the furniture was broken and lopsided. The room looked poorly maintained and far below acceptable hotel standards. This was clearly NOT a 3-star hotel as advertised. To make matters even worse, we then discovered bedbugs in the second room. I was so alarmed and disgusted that I personally captured one of the bugs and brought it directly to the front desk staff as proof. The front desk employee then offered to relocate us yet again- this time to a room only one floor above the room where the bedbugs were found. That response was completely unacceptable. When dealing with a bedbug issue, moving guests only one floor away does not provide any reassurance of safety or cleanliness. By that point, I no longer felt safe or comfortable remaining anywhere on the property. Finding bedbugs raised serious concerns about the overall condition and sanitation of the hotel

I did not like anything about this hotel. This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. It smells horrible. It is located on a ghetto area i did not feel safe here. There was homeless people outside. Everything there was not clean starting from the entrance to the hallways, rooms, elevators, hallways. Everything there is outdated and old. When i walked in my room it looked like it was never cleaned there were hairs and urine on the seat of the toilet and hairs on the shower. We booked there for two nights but we ended up loosing our money for one day because we could not stand being there one more day instead we decided to book another day and night in a different hotel. So please do your self a favor and don’t book here.

The hotel room was filthy! Carpet was very dirty, the shower head wasn’t working properly, no hot water flowing through shower head. The toilet wouldn’t flush, had to do multiple times and some residual waste would still stay. Floor had smoking residue.

This place is a dump. The stentch in the room was horrendous - Sour and old cigarettes. The carpet had multiple stains, the toilet seat was barely hanging on and the top piece to the toilet didn't even fit onto it. The walls in the room and bathroom had multiple tears/marks and it was so dingy. The couch has seen better days. The wall sockets would not hold our phone charger - it would just fall out. And the amount of homeless people and prostitutes around the property was shocking. We saw multiple kids staying at the hotel and I am sure the parents were horrified. I would burn this place to the ground. Only positive was the front desk and cleaning staff. They deserve better.

The two restraunts advertised are in the smoke-filled casino, discusting. Their muffins and danish selection was minimal. The front desk staff were wonderful! No complaints with them. Very responsive and helpful. My complaint was with the facility, not the staff!

Price for the stay was good. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and had fresh smell in all rooms and even the elevator. I did not feel I was staying at a Ramada by Wyndham hotel. The king deluxe room was smaller than anticipated, they had no additional blankets or pillows. The small dinner they had was inside the casino portion of the hotel. We probably would have ate their had it been inside.

If you just need somewhere to pass out for the night, this will do. It wasn’t the cleanest, no room service during our stay, rooms are dilapidated and the entire hotel smells like smoke even though it is a no smoking hotel. We had a two night stay and I had to go get my keys reactivated twice during our stay as they would not work. We made the best of it but will not be staying here again.

The hotel is far enough to not be in the center of the action but close enough you can walk to the major casinos, the university or fairgrounds. It is on a busy street, so I was hearing traffic til about 1am on Saturday night. Definitely make use of the A/C or earplugs. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the morning. The personal coffee maker worked. The fitness center is small but everything worked. The wifi was decent. Hard to hold a zoom meeting on it, but otherwise I was able to work remotely. The lobby did sometimes smell a little like smoke from the casino. The front desk staff were not always there but they handled all my requests without problems.

The bed was comfortable and I did like the card key needing to be used to go anywhere. The room was not as clean as it could have been. We asked for more towels and pillows and we were told there were none available but this was early in the afternoon before they got busy for the weekend. We witnessed two men arguing over a hooker as we were gambling and nothing was done to break it up. Not a good look for sure

I was able to leave the premises alive with all parts in tact. Hotel is in a horrible neighborhood, lots of vagrants, homeless, wanderers outside smoking and doing who knows what! Bathtub wouldn't drain, AC unit was noisy, bathroom lighting was too dim. No refrigerator, no microwave, dirty coffee maker, broken iron. Breakfast was a joke. Based on the money I spent, everything should have been perfect. I will never return to the facility!

There were also many homeless people loitering around the property making us feel not very safe. At least we did not get robbed. There is also what seems to be a scrapyard very close to the hotel which is a bit weird.

This property is old and needs to be refurbished. The entire 1st floor smells of smoke from the casino that adjoins the lobby. The only good thing about my stay was the staff was great.

Easy to find This is not indicative of a Wyndham property. The price is not worth risks. Homeless and people fighting in parking lot. Couch had slices in it. Stains on carpet. Window would not close completely so had to tape it to stop noise and air. Main light for room flickered on/off so could not be used. Pet friendly but my dog was uncomfortable and on edge entire time at property. Pay attention to your surroundings if you stay here. I left ad soon as was light out.

There are drug addicts at all hours of the day and night outside of the hotel . Bums sleeping in the lobby . Police activity people getting arrested right outside of the casino area . The elevators and halls are overkill with fragrance smell . The staff was very nice . I would not recommend this hotel especially if you have kids with you .

This hotel is so run down, the bathrooms have no water pressure for showers and the room was not cleaned once during 5 day stay. Definitely stay elsewhere that is budget friendly if that’s what you’re going for, the neighborhood and attached casino is riddled with prostitution and tweakers.

Shady part of town, 24hr diner wasn't open at all. Don't bother to check in early online, you will have to redo it when you check in personally (waste of time) Room wasn't worth what I paid. Remote was broken, sofa stained, carpet was worn out.

The furniture and building looked well-worn. We didn't have a refrigerator and only one glass in the room. We had hoped to get a drink in the casino, without playing any games, but didn't care for the cigarette smoke and lack of non-gaming places to sit.

The Ramada name should be removed from this hotel. This is not the Ramada standard. If you want to go back in time to the 1960s that’s how this hotel is popcorn ceilings no updates couches that have holes in them floors that are dirty. The place smells like urine and cigarettes, drug dealers and drug users all the way around the property felt unsafe the entire time I was there almost told them to keep the money. I’ll go somewhere else. Grabbed a couple hours of sleep and left as fast as possible. Stopped at a truck stop just to take a shower because the bathroom was nasty. I will not be staying here again. This hotel should be shut down and all the riffraff removed. also it’s not downtown. It’s on the outskirts in the ghetto. Don’t stay here.

Homeless encampments all around, sketchy area, lobby feels like 1970s and the carpet looked gross.. we checked in and immediately checked out after securing another hotel.

Rooms very dated compared to Expedia online pics .. overall property is not in great condition and the casino definitely attracts the scarier population of Reno.. front desk staff was very nice though

The people who were either homeless or hanging around the area made me a little uneasy. The room was fine except for the shower. I like one that has lots of pressure and this one was older and not very powerful. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing of downtown. On the upper floors you heard a lot of wind like a seal in the window was not quite right. For the price it didn’t job and got a great nights sleep.

The actual room was ok. Clean and with the amenities one would expect. But the hotel is situated in a seedy neighborhood. Outside the hotel there are enough homeless people with visible mental health problem roaming around - at some point one guy was emptying the trash right outside the hotel shouting various things. I think it gave my 14 y.o. daughter a renewed appreciation for where she lives.

Plenty of parking, staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs. The little diner in the casino area was very good and the staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable bed.

Our room on the 12th floor has a nice view to the surrounding area but that is the only nice thing I can say about the place. The carpet looks untidy and I was afraid to walk barefoot as I did not want to catch any bacteria. The chair has stains, nightstand looks awful and the bed is very low quality mattress. The sound barrier from outside is almost nonexistent. Even from the 12th floor, we can hear car horns, trains and airplanes flying over loudly. The worse part, there is trash bin in the hallway with no cover and trash stacked up above the rim. Highly NOT recommended.

This is far and away the worst Marriott affiliated property I have ever stated in. There was literally a pregnant women on meth begging for money all weekend at the entrance. The room was disgusting, and the sink and toilets were clogged. I tried to cancel and go somewhere else, but they refused to give me my money back. Run don’t walk from this place.

The property is old and dated. The restaurant and bar remain closed from covid days. The adjacent casino, despite having a connecting glass door, is only accessible by first going outside and then entering through the external entrance. The hallways smell of smoke, and some of this creeps into the rooms as well. Finally, the WiFi is so slow that I just used my cell phone as a hot spot, as that was much faster.

This place is super run down, beds are extremely uncomfortable. The customer service is horrible. We couldn’t even get blankets for our pull out bed. And when we needed towels we had to go to front desk to get them.

The whole property stunk, it was dirty, outdated, first room and floor i was in smelled like stale cigarettes and the next floor reeked like animal pee. There were sketchy people in the parking lots, it was awful

Could use parking lot security. Hallway smelt like smoke. The beds look nothing like the pictures. Room smelt like smoke and was musty. Carpet stained. Shower needed help. Hot water nozzle was missing a screw and fell off. Good water pressure though. If I was’t completely exhausted I would have changed hotels. The staff was great, both in the night and morning.

This facility is under par for what I experienced in 32 yrs of business travel.

Emergency alarm went off during the extremely early morning, no personnel to coordinate or assist guests, nor assisting trapped disable guest on upper floors. Single hotel staff memeber doing job of many required staff members. No instructions after event was over from staff, to guests to be able to return to our rooms.

The rooms are pretty nice considering the price range and always clean. Nice blankets and linen comfortable beds comfortable pillows. Bathrooms are decent. And they give you plenty of toiletries. I stay here all the time for under $100. It's not in the greatest neighborhood but it's close to the interstate and there's a casino attached to it that is a little rundown with some rough looking customers.. but the kitchen make some killer food. It's not an impressive hotel but for the price range you get a great room with a great view and you are blocks from the higher end local casinos.

The corporation that owns it obviously does the bare minimum. It's fine. It hasn't been remodeled in 40 years. The TV's are 15 years old. But the lobby is new. Kinda. A mini fridge would be cool. TVs are cheap now. Figure it out..

Crack in the wall to the outside of the building, cockroach leg on the towel, cracks in the bathroom shower, shorted out plug in the lamp, and police activity almost every night. Our view was of a junkyard and a public auction. I will never stay here again! Its a horrible location!

I checked in despite my apprehension. Went to the room and it smelled weird, there was a stain on a sheet, and it was way smaller than advertised. I walked in and immediately walked out. When I checked in, the staff was friendly. When I went to check out, the woman was hostile as though I was rejecting her personally and "couldn't" check me out. The manager figured it out. The neighborhood was VERY sketchy and there were several people milling around the front. Just not clean or safe.

At dusk there were a lot of homeless people filing into the parking lot. Locked our car doors. If rated I would give it a 0/10 if ratings went lower it would be a (-10/10) minus 10/10

The Casino right below the hotel and round the hotel front lobby has a lot of homeless people hanging out at night This making the hotel feel not safe. But the cost for night is cheap. Hotel is old but I think the room is clean for what I paid for.

The wall outside room was cracked open with pieces of drywall showing. Police officers there got someone that stole from someone in the lobby. Casino was not somewhere I would have gone to without my husband close by.

The room could use an update, like the carpet. It would have been helpful if they had vending machines instead of having to buy snscks and water from the check in area. But room is reasonably priced and is located nearby to downtown Reno.

The area outside the hotel is pretty dicey, especially if you arrive after dark. I didn't have any problems, but just be aware. "No Panhandling / No Loitering" signs are posted outside the entrance, and you are greeted by a security guard as you enter.

There were quite a lot of homeless people walking the street and walking the parking lot.

Room was very clean. Staff was nice. The continental breakfast could’ve been much better no decaffeinated, coffee nor adequate tea no plates for the muffins and very little choices. I stayed at many hotels that offered a far better continental breakfast. There was no place to sit to eat our small muffin no tables.

What I like was the staff were very friendly. What I didn’t like, there were to much homeless people inside of the hotel parking, also the furniture were very old and damaged. And the parking lot was very dirty.

Nothing was okay or acceptable for what I paid. Staff was very unwelcoming, did not feel safe at all. They never returned my deposit neither. OH AND GET THIS, THEY THREATNED TO TOW MY CAR. GO ANYWHERE ELSE , because you will be disappointed.

Had gotten stuck in the elevator for 2 hours , due to power issues , the staff didn’t even know I was stuck , until I called the front desk , after someone pried the elevator doors open , the management didn’t even ask if I was ok , and didn’t contact me either my whole stay

Hotel is very tired, room are very old and pretty poor condition. The sofa in our room had stains, the sink stopper was stuck closed so we had to brush teeth in bathtub. The faucet in the bathroom sink assembly was loose. We had to switch rooms as first one had terrible odor. The front desk person was the sole bright spot. The area around the hotel is scary, the adjacent diner and casino attract an unsavory faction making the entire experience a big disappointment. The hotel is grossly overpriced for area and conditions.

While staying there I got robbed in the parking lot. They stole my wallet and hotel key card and while I stayed in the parking lot calling the police they went into my room with the key and stole my brothers cell and wallet while they were asleep in the room. The hotel area is unsafe and the front desk was no help at all. It felt like a set up or if I was being watched and followed. Worst and a scariest experience of my entire life.

The room was outdated, hot water barely worked, place smells like mildew. There are a lot of unfavorable people hanging around outside and all the hotels outdoor lights are burned out.

The room next door had 2 dogs that barked the entire night. I called the desk at midnight and they sent someone up who knocked on the door, the dogs barked, and they left. The barking continued through 6 am and neither of us got sleep. Also, room was filthy, food and dog kibble under the bed and nightstand. Front desk just made excuses. AVOID!

The water pressure in the shower was horrible. Also, sometimes we had barely warm water in the shower. The heating/air conditioning unit was very loud and hard to keep the room at a consistent comfortable temp. We were freezing one night and sweating the next night. The room had stains on the furniture and floors. The staff was very friendly, though.

The property is infested with homeless people and drug addicts. I cancelled my second night and was told I would get a refund. No refund was received and when I call to inquire about the refund, my calls just go to an automated message and no one calls me back. I would rather sleep in my car than ever stay in a Ramada again.

I can only presume the scantily clad women and gentlemen in tow were working in teams… the employee let me know that one side of the hotel was safer to park my vehicle in. I was happy the vehicle was still there at checkout. I’m no stranger to rough areas but secure and separate your parking lot from the casino somehow would be my advice.

The night I stayed here there was commotion from the parking lot, people yelling and doing donuts at 3am. Stayed here for a work trip and needed WiFi, and that was down. The staff at the Ramada was friendly & accommodating, the room was just ok - it needs updating & there was definitely signs that there was pets in the room before .. the furniture in our room was old & worn out but the room was clean. The parking lot & casino next door , …. Friendly staff but full of homeless people & people doing drugs!..The casino bathrooms had HALF of a door, so women were openly doing drugs because of it.. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life!..I will never go back!

I recently stayed at the Ramada Hotel and noticed that housekeeping could pay closer attention to detail with cleaning, particularly since the property is pet-friendly. While I appreciate that the hotel welcomes pets, it would be helpful if certain floors were designated as pet-free. This would provide more comfort for guests with allergies or sensitivities.

I felt really safe within the property and really liked my room, especially having a sofa in my room. I did feel it was slightly unsafe around the property, but there was a staff person outside the door, so I do think if there was an issue it would have been promptly addressed. Super minor, but I thought there could have been more large towels supplied, there was only one and two would have been better.

Wifi is useless, there are no charging ports anywhere, rooms are grubby and outdated (cottage cheese ceilings? really?), and the area seems unsafe after dark. Also you have to pay extra for a minifridge and a microwave in your room. The staff was very helpful and polite (although we did have to make multiple requests for even a light room cleaning) but I doubt we'll be back.

When in the elevator, all you smaller was an over powering odor of air freshener and disinfectant. When the doors opened, you experienced the small of mildew or rotting carpet. The combination of the two odors was enough to turn your stomach.

Check-in was slow. Two guests ahead of me had payments declined, but the single desk person seemed stuck, and it took over 20 minutes to get checked in. My check-in took seconds once I got to the desk. The carpet in the room was heavily soiled. The windows were very dirty.

The area around the hotel is a little shaky, and the adjoining casino seems to be a favorite of locals. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. The staff at the front desk is amazing! The pictures online are a little deceiving. The 4th floor smells like cat pee and the rooms are severely outdated. We were passing through and just needed a place to sleep for the night.

Two of the 4 rooms had issues. No running water. Occupants had to relocate. Stroke victim requested a handicap room - took him 20 minutes to remove himself from toilet. I was told there were no more handicap rooms. Our family group will not be returning to this hotel. Another occupant had to relocate to a different room.

The shower was clogged and was holding water while taking a shower and the water did not stay hot long. Husband had to go downstairs to get a used plunger to plunger the shower with out being able to clean or Samaria’s it afterward. The toilet had to be flushed at least twice after each use. It was old and dated. Will never stay there again. There was also an employee that was obviously on drugs walking back in forth behind the counter distracting the only front desk employee.

This is a value stay. The building is old and the rooms are on the smaller side. The staff was lovely and it was clean. They don’t have an airport shuttle and the ride each way is about $30 so if you’re looking to cut costs factor that in. Otherwise it was fine.

This hotel seems like it's located in a suspect location. There are several homeless / vagrants hanging outside the entrance of the hotel at all times of the day and night. The hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are old and decrepit, and have a nasty smell. For the price you pay here, just pay a few more bucks and stay at one of the major casinos, ie GSR , Atlantis, or Golden Nugget. I will not be visiting the Ramada any time again.

Head to the Ramada in Reno and if you are lucky enough to Survive walking from your car to the lobby you will be greeted by a nice team of check in staff who are risking their lives just to make ends meet. These folks should be getting danger money. After grabbing a key head to the elevator that you will no doubt share with a guy (or guys) with clenched fists and tear drop face tattoos. Make sure you stay frosty as there’s a good chance you may need to fight in a very confined space. In the unlikely event that you make it to your room your feet will be sticking to the carpet with the remains of the last crime that went on in there still present. Sit back and relax on your bed while admiring the fist sized punch holes in the walls, or take a look out the window at the expansive parking lot and admire the ladies of the night business. Ps. This is in no way a reflection on the staff, as they were all very nice.

The signage referenced no loitering, soliciting and panhandling and all were occurring. If this is such an issue they should have security onsite. Only had 1 bellhop cart so we had to make multiple trips to get our belongings to our room. Our room had holes in the carpet and the flooring felt squishy under the carpet like water damaged had occurred. Smelled like smoke in the hallways which made my eyes water. They would not allow for late check-out.

The area around didn't feel very safe, I kept checking on my U-Haul to make sure it hasn't been broken into to, and there's a lot of traffic of people in the parking lot that made me feel unsafe. Neighborhood presents as slum/meth, people wandering around aimlessly in the streets and random shouting. It took staff 30-45m beyond check-in time for the room to be ready. The window to the room was open 3-4", presumably to help air it out.The couch in my room smelled like a wet dog had slept there - no exaggeration. When I asked to be moved or consideration for a discount on the room, the manager said she was "sorry." When I returned later to advise the desk that I'd be looking for a new hotel for the following night, the manager mocked me with sarcastic, passive-aggressive comments while I waited for the elevator. A maid brought a 3/4 empty can of Febreeze to the room, and no one verified the condition of the smell in the room that I described. I was primarily concerned about being held responsible for the smell. The power to half the room went out for an ~hour at about 9p. I had reserved the room for two nights but checked out the first morning and found better accommodations elsewhere in town. My family and I visit Reno and stay over 3-4x per year (kids in school). I would never stay in this hotel again, for any reason at all. I would not recommend it to family/friends or anyone online. I will hesitate closely to stay with Ramada again in the future. It was one of the top three worst hotel experiences of my life, and I am not the type to complain in most instances concerning service. I still can't believe I was treated the way I was there.

I felt it was not in the best of neighborhoods. Seen several homeless people around the property. Was very insecure about leaving my tesla in the parking lot. Hotel lobby seemed to need renovating in certain areas. Elevator and hallway to the room had a very bad odor. The one thing I did like was the room. Very clean, smelled good, and the TV worked ok. And the guests were very quiet. I did have to request some shampoo and it was locked up by cleaning service and they wouldn't be open till 9:00am. I had to lcheck out before then.

Check in was a wonderful experience. The front desk help were friendly, courteous and very professional. Rooms are somewhat outdated, with ours having a shower that drained very, very slowly, and hot water took a little while to get to the shower head. The king size bed box spring was slightly off the frame so we were hitting our legs on the metal frame when getting out of bed on the right hand side. We physically moved the box spring to fix the issue. Betting Linens and towels were clean. Should have checked before booking the room because there was no mini fridge or microwave. Room seemed too high priced for what we got.

It is disgusting. Very dirty but unfortunately is one of the few that take pets. There was urine on floor from previous pets. Drive a little further and get one that’s not gross

The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. The coffee maker looked alright, but I travel with my own (not a snob, just a retired Sailor who likes his coffee just right). This not my first stay here and the hotel has gotten better with each trip. The only concern might be the drunk gamblers and/or homeless in the area. They do not bother me, but might be an issue for families with small kids? Overall I will stay here again, but next time I will definitely make sure there is a fridge.

This is a dog friendly hotel so many carpet stains, stains on the couch, could see the headboard was greasy and hadn’t been wiped down. The bed and shower was clean but honestly if I could’ve cancelled I would have. Because it’s connected to a little casino there was a lot of creeps hanging out outside. My room was non refundable.

we booked this hotel for my sons move-in weekend at UNR since it’s super close to campus. pulled into the parking lot and immediately had regrets…building is very old and run down and homeless people roaming the parking lot made me wonder if we stumbled into a shoot for the walking dead. I hesitated to even exit my vehicle. the lobby was dimly lit with low ceiling tiles that had water damage and the carpet was filthy. there was a long line and the longer i waited to check in the more doubt i had…no way was i parking my vehicle full of all of my sons belongings there. we left and i immediately contacted the hotel which didn’t answer and an automated message told me to call Hotels.com. Hotels.com was also unable to reach the hotel and i was told the case would be escalated. I’ve still (3 days later at the official end of my reservation) heard nothing from the hotel. i imagine they charged me full price and i will have a fun fight ahead. very dissatisfied with the hotel and hotels.com’s handling of this situation.

It was nice to have the casino attached to the property, cheap, strong drinks and good slots. The hotel is secured from the casino with room key activated entry. The area has homeless around, but was no issue.

We were woken up at 3am to fire alarm and had to evacuate. Eventually we were let back in our room. Property is dirty and smells, casino attracts lots of crackheads. Definitely will never stay here again.

Poor neighborhood. Alot of drug users and homeless outside the building. Burgers where good at the diner tho. Felt like i was checking into a jail. Walls in the room had dry loogies on them. Feel like this place is a product of its surroundings. Facts.

Check in time says 3pm, I checked in at 4pm and was told there was not a room available they were still cleaning. I was checked in at 4:30pm after sitting in the lobby. Coffee cups leaked and I got hot coffee on me. I won't stay again.

I liked the property itself and I understand why they had the doors locked to most people but I dislike that my partner was refused entry the first time because she didn't have her driver's license even though she had her passport.

The people that hang around this place are all criminals. Lots of drug dealing and prostitution going on around the property or the general area.

The staff here is great, they are doing the best they can with what they've got to work with. The parking lot and surrounding area is basically a homeless camp. Zombies wandering the property literally all day and night. First room I was placed in... I openes the door took w steps in and immediately turned around and left. It smelled like an ashtray, had black stains all over the carpet and there was dog food kibble on the floor. Second room was better but still very dingy and dated. A train blasts his horn at 2am, and 5am. I will not stay at this property ever again. Again, no complaints about the staff, they were great.

The bed was not comfortable at all. The casino was very tight, didn’t even win a little bit. The elevator floors were very dirty. The room didn’t have fully stocked towels. Had to call for more towels. All in all, things were ok

The outside of the property was filthy and outside trashcans were overflowing, hookers and drugies hanging out in the parking lot and the security guard in the morning around 11 A..M was trying to push his weight around!!!

I didnt get to stay there. My card was shut off for suspicion of fraudulent charges. So i couldnt use it for a deposit. I had plenty of cash but they denied.

Very, very rude. Outside there were prostitutes and their pimps the whole time of our stay. One man even asked my wife if she wanted to get high. There was security, but sat in the lobby on his phone, or at a podium by the front door. We stayed 2 nights, during Hot August Nights, and were afraid that our cars were going to be broken into the whole time, and in the end they were fine, but the stress was bad. The rooms were good and clean, but the beds were uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying there.

The first thing you notice is the smell in the lobby. A mix of stale cigarettes, and old salami… The room was relatively clean. The bathroom was far from spotless….the casino downstairs- some really scary characters in there.

There was a lot of loitering. I got kicked off the sidewalk outside the restaurant while was waiting on my food since i couldn't wait inside because they were playing bingo.

Place is going down hill fast. They didnt have our room reqdy at the time check in was supposed to be. The casino was dirty and had a very bad vibe. Even the employees we ran into said this place was falling apart and going down hill. Wont be staying here again. Outside was a mess and felt unsafe, room was not the cleanest and the bed was uncomfotable. Their "breakfast" was muffins, coffee, and 'hot water'. Very disappinted in our stay. Homeless people surrounding the property.

I parked on the casino side when I checked in and didn’t feel completely safe. But parking on the other side was fine. The over all experience was very good. My only complaint would be the noise from traffic mostly. I would stay again.

The best part about this hotel was that it was safe. Like the security of the elevators where you had to use your room key and the bathtub in the room. Add a wonderful view from the ninth floor.The service was good. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable. The toilet was too low and the water level in the toilet was too high. So that was a little uncomfortable if you understand what I'm saying.

I was unable to pay for my room because somehow LE QUINTA INN had, without my knowing or authorization, placed a hold on over $500. So I had to stay there. But even before that happened, when I drove around the property to check it out, based on the reviews, there were homeless and what looked like bunch of dopers hanging around in the parking lot and surrounding area.it looked and felt unsafe. I will never book another room there or use xped to book a trip. It can only be through them that LA QUINTA INN was able to do that and ruin my trip to Reno

First off, the building needs renovation bad! First room they put me in window was leaking a ton of water on the ac. There were bloody papertowel and napkins in the hall for 2 straight days before it was cleaned up. Homeless people everywhere, watch your vehicle cause my truck was messed with. Im a firefighter who just wanted to relax on his days off. There was feces residue in my toilet and hair all over the shower. Maintenance dude was cool, not so much the rest of the staff. Absolutely will never stay there again!

The room was barely suitable, but in need of extensive renovations, as is the entire property. The staff is friendly and attentive (for the most part), but there is nothing they can do about the real bad issues of this place. Carpets are old, stained, dirty and worn out. Furniture, light, and bathroom fixtures need updating. Seems like general maintenance and upkeep was never part of the plan. However, the worst aspect about this hotel is the run down, dilapidated casino, which attracts all sorts of shady and scary looking individuals, homeless, drug addicts, drunks, people with mental illness, and so on. They are all over the parking lot, around the area, and even at the entrance to the hotel. Leaving or arriving at the property was like preparing to run through a gauntlet of some of the most potentially dangerous people that you see in an inner city. I would NEVER endanger anyone by recommending this hotel. I thought Ramada and Wyndham had a minimum standard of overall quality, and that is why I booked this hotel. Now I know I was mistaken.

Clean Furnished room. Cons: The very high number of drug addict homeless people wandering around inside the hotel, hanging out in groups around the entrances, and in various places on the property. The price was good, the staff was professional and the room itself was fine, but due to the number of drug addicts everywhere in and around the property at all times, I could not ever stay at this property again or recommend it to anyone.

Got to the hotel close to 5pm after driving 6 plus hours. Check in was at 3pm but there was still no rooms ready. The front desk lady said we'd have to wait for one to be cleaned but didn't know how long that would be, then offered us a room on the pet floor. Heck no we didn't want a room on the pet floor, that's not what we reserved. We are not pet people and were not going to be in a room with pet hair or possible fleas and where pets have possibly pee'd or pooped in there. On top of that the place is super sketchy outside, I was afraid to even leave my rental car parked for the night. My boyfriend couldn't even use the bathroom. The security swarmed him as he attempted to because he had a backpack on. Thankfully I was able to book another room elsewhere and the only good thing about this place is the front desk lady canceled my room with no problem.

I was expecting better since it's a ramada. But the room was in much need of an upgrade and the carpet was super stained. I couldn't even get the water very hot in the shower. I felt completely unsafe outside and at the casino.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean but carpets are filthy. Shower is trick and not much volume. There was no room service for the three nights we stayed but were brought clean towels when asked. Many homeless in the area but the hotel is secure. The rates are very good.
