Great location and very clean. It was very quiet and well-maintained. We were able to check in early which was nice. Close to downtown and the airport. Pool area could have been bigger. We ended up getting a pool pass to GSR, but it was great to be by the airport.

Clean, lovely, whimsical room, great staff including Efren Mendoza who warmly tended a lively bar and served delicious food. With van service to and from the airport it’s a great place to stay if you’re taking an early flight out of Reno.

Although the Hotel is 1700 feet from the Jetway my daughter deplaned from, the room was surprisingly quiet. I never heard a plane taking off or landing in the evening. Even before putting in my earbuds…..

The staff were all very personable, friendly, and helpful, but one, in particular, Ingrid, one of the airport shuttle drivers, went above and beyond by taking me to a grocery store so I could pick up some food items I needed.Just excellent customer service!! If my travel plans ever include Reno, I would, definitely, chose this hotel again and I would, also, consider this chain of hotels in other locations, as well!!

Very convenient to airpost

We were not at this hotel very long as our delayed flight got us in at 3 in the morning. However the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the breakfast and coffee down in the lobby were good.

We are loyal Aloft guests and have even stayed at this property before. But this time it appeared that things have gone downhill a bit. Stained and raggedy carpet, inconsistent customer service, when the room was cleaned details were forgotten like dumping the full trashcan or refilling the water/coffee station. Workman in the hallway fixing carpet were talking loudly and profanely about someone and it made for an uncomfortable walk past them. Bar and food was pretty good. Most of the employees were cheerful and helpful. Just didn't feel quite as polished and well kept as before.

This hotel was very different than what i have ever stayed in. The room was small and reminded me of a college dorm room yet modern. The layout of the room was not well thought out either.

No breakfast! The room was cramped and only had one trash can. Still taking advantage of Covid business model. We were there four days and room was made up once. I had to go to the front to get. Coffee and cups everyday. I have stayed in Motel 6 back in the 70s that was more comfortable. Don’t even get me started on the noisy barn door on the toilet stall. I expect a lot more from Marriott. Nice hotel. Cute room layout. Here are the two issues. 1- don’t count on a shuttle. We arrived at 11. We called and pressed the number for a shuttle, was on hold 20 mins. Decided to get a cab. It’s such a short drive cab guy complained and said use their shuttle. I said I tried. He took me for like $9. Git to the hotel and shuttle was there empty. No one insight. When I asked at check in, there was no answer or reason known. The only other issue is shower area is not hidden by a door. Clear glass shower. If you have kids they may be seeing you shower. lol. Traveled alone so not an issue. Other than those things, it was nice. I would stay there again, it was clean and had a lot of hot water, nice Bluetooth radio with charging ports, microwave, fridge and more. Work on the shuttle service or just discontinue it.

It turned out that although the hotel is "just across the street" from the airport building, getting there on foot with luggage was virtually impossible due to poor urban design (22-minute walk per Google Maps). The hotel offers a shuttle service, but it stops at midnight. My bags arrived at the baggage claim at 12:01 am, so I had to take a cab for roughly 90 seconds (and $20) to the hotel. The room was clean, but also poorly designed. There were blackout shades (great), but the (blue!) light from the fridge/minibar was so bright that the blackout shades were pointless. Moreover, the bathroom is not in its own room--the shower and sink are just behind a short wall (not separated from the bedroom), so unless you're traveling solo, there's no privacy, and you'll wake up your family/roommate even when brushing teeth. Finally, the sliding door for the half-bathroom (toilet) was incredibly loud and squeaky, again, making a stay in the room with other people not exactly enjoyable for anyone.

Mountain view, especially the sunrise, was amazing.

I didn't have a mountain view; room was clean, but staff were incredibly unhelpful. Gym was just sad. Not worth the price.

Shuttle can be a hassle but gets things done. Hotel does not offer water cups downstairs. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. Good spot for a few nights.

The room was clean and presentable. The staff is unfriendly and lazy at the Front Desk and Bar area. You can tell they do not want to be at work. Also, this is the first time I noticed managers allowing their staff to sit in the bar area and have drinks while on the clock.

Staff was ok, the night checkin was friendly but the day staff was stand offish, the rooms are very hipster, was expexting more of a traditional room and instead got a strange room with an open concept where the shower was out in the open and had a sliding door for the toliet. I also had 2 rooms and each bed had a boot print on the comforter. I also would have appreciated a breakfast area, the grab and go was expensive, 2 waters and a Gatorade for 14 bucks ! But this would be great for an overnighter, single person.

Terrible pillows, hot water - NOT, shower head dripped on metal pan the entire shower making a terrible sound, ac would not stay on during night had to keep on getting up and turning down, door into toilet room was hard to open and shut

Airport Shuttle was extremely convenient...perfect location if you have a 5 am flight. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room's were very large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again without any hesitation.

Always like staying in an Aloft hotel. Love the modern style, cleanliness, and friendly staff. Super comfortable beds as usual. Has everything you need and none of the extras and faffs that you don't need. The front desk was kind enough to waive the parking fee for us as we arrived so late. The location is slightly out of the way but many alofts are near airports. It would be nice if you could cast your own apps to the TV (eg Peacock) instead of just the 2 or 3 that are already installed

There was a small refrigerator at the foot of the bed - with a bright blue light glaring right at the bed as you try to sleep. I had to unplug the refrigerator in order to fall asleep. No ledge in the shower to put your toiletries. WiFi and TV not working. Staff was kind and location for morning flight was ideal.

Clean hotel right next to the airport. They had an airport shuttle for convenience. Small rooms with the shower/sink divided by a curtain. Toilet has a door. Pet friendly and they accommodated me but giving me a first floor room. Snack bar and light hot fare for sale. Overall a nice stay!

This is the second time we stayed here after Burning Man. Great place and nice staff. Nothing to complain. Good vibes only, and I will probably continue to stay here in the future.

Pretty much everything about this hotel is awful. The person at the front desk was fairly rude when checking in. The room was as loud as can be because it is so close to intersection. All I heard was motorcycle noises all night and some terrible kid running up and down the hallways banging on doors. I’d rather stay at the slightly dated Hyatt next door.

Clean and spacious room appreciated the design and practicality having a fridge and ample separate space for suitcases. Love the flooring. Felt more upscale for the price so good value. Only bleep was we Waited almost an hour for the airport shuttle at the airport. Walking from the airport is not as easy as a map would suggest. One can not walk across the airport parking but must go around. The pool is very small but fine. Happy with our stay though

Quieter than I thought considering it is by the airport. Decor was amazing. Everything about it screamed comfort. Extremely close to downtown Reno if that is what you are looking for.

There's only one staff member working the front desk upon check in so there's a bit of a wait time. They're not upfront about surcharges - I was asked for my credit card without being told what the deposit is or the parking fees and even at checkout I had to ask what I'm expected to be charged. The room had dog fur and hair all over the ground and so did the sheets. I asked for new sheets upon leaving in the morning to start my day and told the gentleman why and after coming back over 8 hrs later all that was done was they made our bed - without changing the linen like I requested bc of the dog furs so I went down and got the linen to change myself. I called downstairs - again bc there's only 1 staff at the desk you'll be on hold for 20 mins- and requested several more washcloths bc they only put 2 in each room - and we don't use the same one on our bodies and faces - and since we're here for 2 days I asked for 6 because we already used the 2 we had for after sex clean up - sorry TMI - and I was told they could only give us 3 more. We waited a few hours and instead of washcloths & a couple more cups, they brought us HAND TOWELS lol & said they cannot bring us cups, we have to come downstairs and get them from their self serve area at their store lol. So i went down the next morning to ask for washcloths & was able to get those & the cups. Lastly, if you run hot be aware - I run cold and we had it at 70 and I was HOT. In my apt i have AC at 76 mind you. Anyways 2 stars.

We came home from Europe, landing at Reno at midnight. It was somewhat easy to walk with our luggage and we didn't check to see if the hotel shuttle was available. It was nice to go across the street from the airport and get a good nights sleep.

However this was never added to my folio . No response ! Had to locate housekeeping to refresh towels and take out trash . After 2:00 pm

Airport shuttle does not run 24/7. Starts at 4 am. Room was out of shampoo and the pool says only open til 8. Silly. The room was decent but had noticeable dirt n dust on the floor. Next time, and for the same price, just going to book the grand sierra. Better pool and airport shuttle times.

Only reason I am giving it 2 stars was due to the bartender Saturday night. She was very friendly and always helping her customers in whatever was she could. Great customer service. I cannot say the same for the front desk and housekeeping. On our last morning we needed additional towels and toilet paper. Never got it. After 30 minutes I went to the front desk to get it and then got called a liar by one of the housekeepers (possibly the head housekeeper). She told me that they cleaned the room the day before and gave us two extra toilet paper rolls and 2 towels. We had four people in our room, got one toilet paper roll, no Kleenex and they didn’t bother to check the shower gel dispenser when they cleaned the room. Our last night we had to get additional towels and a bottle of shower gel as we were trying to get ready for dinner. The housekeeper needs to do a better job making sure there is extra toilet paper, some Kleenex and some actual shampoo/shower gel so people can take showers. All the front desk and housekeeping had to do was say sure no problem and hand them to me. Not call me a liar on what she thought she left in our room which she clearly didn’t replace the items I had to get later. Another problem is we checked into our room and we found multiple spiders especially between the far bed and wall which I’m sure they never clean. We then moved rooms, which was a little cleaner, and found another spider. Horrible customer service calling your guests liars. Stay away!

Overall a great stay but they have to lay off the air fresheners in the lobby. The scent in the lobby cause a migraine almost immediately. I really appreciated they had an airport shuttle and were so close.

Easy hotel with friendly staff. They could do with hiring more people, though, to help with rushes at the front desk. Also it would be helpful if they stocked quarters for the washing machines - we had to go on a quarter quest. Other than that, a good stay.

I didn’t like that Aloft refused to refund my booking that was made in error. I did not checkin because I’m in another state!!! I stayed 4 nights the previous weekend anyway but Aloft still did not recognize that it was a mistake booking for tonight. I will never stay with your company again!!!

We really enjoyed the live music and pool table in the lobby.

We stayed here after a late night flight from the east coast. It was the perfect hotel, just a quick walk away then a hot shower and comfy bed. The next morning I made myself a complimentary lobby coffee (with honey!) and walked back to the hotel to pick up the rental car to head up the mountain. Easy, convenient and a perfect welcome to Nevada!

Quiktrip taking family back to the airport. Staff were very friendly check in process very fast. Room was beautiful and clean very quiet. Only complaint was that the blankets on the bed were like sheets not heavy enough.

Have stayed in several alofts and has always been great. Only issue this time was shade in the bedroom was broken with lighting right outside the room shinning in.

Newish hotel, close to the air port, shuttle take 3 min, nice room, food available 24/7, bar on site, very good and clean gym.

I was stuck in the mountains from a snow storm with my family and was unable to get out. The hotel refused to refund my money at the expense of my family. Absolutely shameful and will make sure to everyone know that alofts profits are over family safety.

Nice hotel, it is right across from airport which is nice, but you will hear airplanes.

The hotel was nice, staff was great! Across the street from the airport but I never heard a plane.

Room card issue and worn carpet, scuffed walls, elevator signage torn. Reminded me of spring break.

Hotel says it's pet friendly but does not say it's $35 each to have the dogs with us. This seemed excessively expensive .

The property and room were cute and clean. I did hear my neighbors come in late, but luckily they didnt make noise too long. Also, since we are so close to the airport, i could hear planes. Overall i had a nice stay.

Heard every single noise from rooms above and next door, all night long. Zero sleep.

Unbeatable location for an overnight near RNO. Decided to have drinks and bites rather than go out and that turned out to be a great choice. Shuttle to RNZo was running at 4:45 a.m. and took 2 min.

Very noisy neighbors. Teens screaming. Tv at top sound. Doors slamming You could hear entire conversations. The person I was speaking to could even hear them, so when I called to front desk I was disregarded by staff. I am not one to complain and this was absurd. Otherwise property is EXTREMELY close to the airport and brand new.

We asked for a quiet room. Instead we got a room facing the freeway that was as noisy inside as it was outside the building. We were told the hotel was overbooked and they offered earplugs. Truly disappointed. Won’t stay here again.

The property is located right at the entrance of the Reno airport, which is very convenient. The hotel room was clean and modern. It was only a three-quarter high wall separating the bathroom sink and shower from the beds so not a lot of privacy when traveling with multiple people, but was sufficient for our overnight stay for our early morning flight. Would stay here again.

I've stayed here in the past and due too distance you have to walk to get to your room, swore I would never stay here again. I made a mistake since some time has passed and I had forgotten why i had decided to never stay here again. When I checked in this time I was assigned a room on 2nd floor. The hotel is set up like a horseshoe. Once you get off the elevator you walk down a long hallway and then make a right down another long hallway. My room every time I've stayed here has been towards the end of the 2nd long hallway towards the end. I counted 24 rooms from the elevator to my room. This is at least the 3rd time I've stayed here and my room has always about the same distance. As an elderly person and not able to get around as well as possible it is really rough to have to carry bags at this distance. When I complained to the front desk I was told that it was an automated system that selects the room and she could do nothing about it. This was a Sunday night and the parking lot was practically empty.

The other issue we had was the shuttle service in the morning (at 4:15am) took us all the way over to the baggage claim just to drop us off. Our flight was with Southwest meaning we had to walk all the way to the other side of the airport to check in. There wasn’t any traffic so that is so wrong to make people walk so far. We might as well just walked across the street and would have been closer than the shuttle driver. The hotel is nice except the towels in the bathroom, they were cheap and very thin. I would have expected better from Marriott since we use them all the time.

Very considerate and helpful staff. We missed on website the daily parking charge though. Also, airport shuttle doesn’t begin until 4 AM. Overall very nice.
